ABDIRA (Journal of Community Service): Journal of Community Service contains the results of community service and empowerment activities in the form of application of various fields of science including health, education, engineering, agriculture, agriculture, social humanities, computers, entrepreneurship and economics. This journal is published regularly twice a year in April and October. The purpose of this journal is to disseminate ideas and results of the dedication and research conducted by universities that can be applied in society. ABDIRA contains various activities carried out in handling and overcoming various problems that occur in society by applying science and technology which can then be useful for improving community welfare.

<![CDATA[Sungsang IV Village is a village where most of the residents work as fishermen. The waters around this village have great fishery potential. The results of fish catches by fishermen are felt to be less than optimal due to a lack of knowledge about the latest technology in fishing. Fish Finder is one alternative that can be given to solve this problem because this tool can function to detect the presence of fish. Most of the residents of Sungsang IV Village don't know about the Fish Finder tool. This service activity aims to provide introduction and training regarding the use of Fish Finder to detect the presence of fish. The enthusiasm of the community is very visible from the number of training participants that exceeds the targeted number. This training is carried out by presenting material and direct practice of using the tool to make it easier for participants to understand the operating steps. The results of the evaluation of the questionnaire conducted showed that all participants felt very helpful with the training in the use of this Fish Finder tool.]]>

<![CDATA[The problem of waste, especially inorganic waste is a problem that is still crucial in society. The increasing population every year results in an increase in the volume of waste. Lack of socialization regarding the utilization and utilization of waste has a negative impact on the environment and public health. Ecobrick is a waste management activity, especially inorganic waste by putting inorganic waste into plastic bottles. This service activity was carried out in Ketimang Village, Wonoayu District, Sidoarjo Regency. The goal is to educate the people of Ketimang Village about how to manage plastic waste so that it can reduce the amount of daily waste in the Ketimang Village environment. The method used is the socialization of organic and inorganic waste and waste management into Ecobrick. This Ecobrick activity produces a product, namely flower pots from inorganic waste. The response of the community, especially the youth organizations who were participants in the activity, was very enthusiastic during the implementation of the Ecobrick activity.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to identify culinary tourism that can be developed in Buleleng Regency. This research method is a study of field observation documentation and interviews. The object of this research is one of the restaurants located in Singaraja, namely Kartika Restaurant. Kartika restaurant is a restaurant that has been around since 1965 with the concept of a Chinese Food restaurant. In this research activity, the researcher found several problems, namely in the fields of production, marketing and finance. So from this problem the researchers provided some training to Kartika Restaurant. The training provided is training on making logos, promotion through social media, and making simple bookkeeping. So from this research, the Kartika Restaurant MSMEs become more aware of the importance of logos in a product, the importance of recording finances regularly, and also how to sell through social media.]]>

<![CDATA[The business opportunity to sell clothes made of rayon is very promising, but in terms of financial management, partners who are engaged in a rayon tailoring service business located in Blahbatuh, Gianyar, Bali still record it manually in a book so that monthly financial reports still need to be calculated manually. manually. The purpose of this service activity is to solve the problems faced by partners by providing training using the BukuKas application in terms of financial management management, where the implementing team of this activity involves lecturers and students with areas of expertise that are in accordance with field needs. The method of activities carried out in this service is to conduct socialization and initial evaluation of the partner's condition, the preparation stage, the provision of materials and direct practice, and the final evaluation stage. The results of the training show that partners are able to use the BukuKas application as seen from the fulfillment of activity achievements above 50% in accordance with the initial design indicators expected by the service team.]]>

<![CDATA[This service aims to determine the use of oyster mushrooms for food needs as local wisdom for urban communities. The method used with an ethnographic approach is to describe in detail the oyster mushroom cultivation technique for the community in Kalidoni District, Palembang City. The process of cultivating oyster mushrooms from start to harvest takes about one month. Baglog from sawdust used can last for 7 months, then it must be replaced with new planting media. The time interval for the first harvest and the next harvest takes 2-3 days. Mushroom yields will be maximized if you regularly water three times in one day. Production of oyster mushrooms for one baglog media, can produce 0.5 kg to 1 kg of mushrooms. The mushroom harvesting system is carried out from the base of the stem because the remaining stems can rot. Harvesting is done every day or every few days depending on the distance from which the polybags are opened. The one baglog produces about 1 kg of mushrooms at a price of Rp.25,000 to Rp.30,000/kg.]]>

<![CDATA[The use of toilets in Indonesia mostly uses the squat toilet type. The squat toilet is a type of toilet that is comfortable and stable in its use. The type of squat toilet in Indonesia, especially in Riau, has the most widely used toilet for adults, this is very difficult for young children in a smaller time span than adults so that children are not comfortable and stable when using a squat toilet. The service method was carried out at the Aqila Kids PAUD Post in Rimbo Panjang Village, and was attended by 15 students along with parental assistance. The result of this socialization is that it can increase knowledge about the distance between children's feet by measuring the distance between the legs when children squat, education on the importance of using squat toilets from an early age and knowledge in using squatting toilet training. The empowerment of teachers and parents in monitoring the use of squatting toilet training is expected to be realized properly by presenting several examples of squatting properly and correctly so as to create a comfortable and safe atmosphere.]]>

<![CDATA[The increased knowledge and skills of fishermen housewives in diversification the processing of kalandue shellfish is expected to increase the added value of kalandue shellfish which in turn will improve the economic level of fishermen housewives. The stages of this service activity include: survey and planning; implementation preparation; implementation; and Program sustainability strategy. This community service activity has a positive impact on the group of fishermen housewives, namely increasing knowledge and skills in diversification the processing of kalandue shellfish, business management, marketing and promotion strategies as well as maintaining environmental sustainability and the balance of marine ecosystems. <![CDATA[Community service is carried out in Sekip Village, Lubuk Pakam District, Deli Serdang Regency with the goals and targets to be achieved, namely housewives can utilize local food ingredients, namely pumpkin (Cucurbita Moschata) to be processed into products that have added value, so that later it can become an economic resource, and can improve the economy. The service is carried out for 1 day in two stages. The first stage is to provide counseling about the value and benefits of pumpkin for health, and the use of pumpkin to be the basic ingredient for making jelly. The second stage is to provide jelly making training. The benefits that can be taken from this activity are increasing public awareness and ability to use pumpkin as an ingredient for making jelly and being able to foster entrepreneurial motivation, especially for the people of Sekip Village.]]>

<![CDATA[A phenomena increased use of health supplement in Samarinda community is lasting since COVID-19 pandemic. The people knowledge about health supplement consumption a are dominantly received from advertisement and published article on internet. However, not all of the informations are correct. Therefore, this community service program was a webinar and interactive discussion about the use of health supplement, in a zoom meeting media. The pretest and post test were used to evaluate the benefit of this program. From a total of 67 participants, 37 of them fill the pretest form, and 28 fill the posttest form. As many as 92% of participants believe that health supplements keeps body healthy, and 43% of them routinely consumed health supplements. After our explanation and discussion session, 86% participants stated that very much new information they received, ang 50% of them said that their way to use health supplement were not fully correct. As many as 93% participants satisfied to this community service program. It can be concluded that this education program was successful.]]>

<![CDATA[Service activities are aimed at micro, small and medium enterprises or UMKM located in East Sumba. The problem is the lack of understanding in marketing and promoting products so that it’s difficult to develop, this is the main reason for implementing this activity. The implementation of the graphic design field is needed to help produce logos and packaging as identities that help increase the selling value of the product. Service activities were carried out on 3 UMKM in Waingapu, East Sumba, in this activity the team provided socialization related to the use of technology for marketing and produced logo designs and product packaging that had reached the copyright registration stage to be developed into local brands. The results of this activity are expected to help the marketing process and product development. A good response was received by the team with a satisfaction percentage of 75% Very Satisfied, 20% Satisfied and 5% Quite Satisfied.]]>
