Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), dengan subyek penelitian 23 siswa kelas XI IPA-1 di SMA Siliwangi Bogor. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar biologi melalui penggunaan model Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) dengan edia Pop Up Card. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus ada 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Setiap akhir siklus dilakukan tes dengan instrumen yang valid dan reliabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan model STAD dengan media Pop Up Card dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar biologi, terlihat dari rata-rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus 1 sebesar 70,1 dan siklus 2 sebesar 77,0; sedangkan nilai rata-rata aktivitas siswa pada siklus 1 yaitu 78,01% dan pada siklus 2 menjadi 84,46%. Berdasarkan hasil yang dicapai maka dapat disimpulkan penggunaan model Student Teams Achievement Divisions dengan media Pop Up Card dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar  biologi siswa di kelas XI IPA-1 di SMA Siliwangi Bogor.

Abstract

Teachers’ commitment towards organization is important to be improved. Strengthening teamworks, good situational leadership by the principal and strong self-efficacy can be used as an effort to improve teachers’ commitment towards their organization. This study is aimed to determine the commitment of private Senior High School teachers in Sukabumi towards their organization through the study of relationship strength between research variable, teamworks, Principal’s situational leadership and self-efficacy. The research used correlational analysis and quantitative method while data collection techniques are collected through questionnaires. The population used in this research are 240 private permanent school teachers in Sukabumi. The sample of the research are 150 teachers calculated by Taro Yamane formula with a significance level of 0,05.Based on the results analysis, there is positive and significant relationship between Teamworks and Teachers’ commitment towards organization with the correlational coefficient ry.1 = 0,0346. There is positive and significant relationship between Principal’s situational leadership and teacher’s commitment towards organization with correlational coefficient ry.2 = 0,465 and there is positive and significant self-efficacy and teachers’ commitment towards organization with correlational coefficient ry.3 = 0,319. The conclusion based on STOREM analysis shows that all teamworks indicators influence teachers’ commitment towards their organization. It means, the stronger the teamworks, the higher commitment teachers have to their organization. All indicators of Principal’s situational leadership influence teachers’ commitment towards their organizations. It means, the stronger Principal’s situational leadership, the higher commitment teachers have to the organization. All indicators of self-efficacy influence teacher’s commitment towards organizations. It means, the stronger self-efficacy; the higher commitment teachers have to the organization.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menemukan strategi dan cara untuk meningkatkan produktivitas kerja guru dengan meneliti kekuatan hubungan produktivitas kerja dengan kepemimpinan visioner, iklim organisasi dan kreativitas. Menggunakan desain Sequential Explanatory, dengan metode statistik korelasional dan analisis SITOREM untuk menentukan prioritas dan rekomendasi indikator yang perlu diperbaiki. Sample penelitian Sejumlah 252 orang guru PNS di SMP Negeri Kota Depok. Hasil penelitian kuantitatif menemukan bahwa semua variabel mempunyai hubungan positif yang signifikan secara sendiri-sendiri menunjukan kuat sedangkan secara bersama-sama sangat kuat dengan produktivitas kerja, berdasarkan tahap analisis Scientific Identification Theory to Conduct Operation Research in Education Management (SITOREM), dapat diidentifikasi kekuatan pengaruh antara variabel penelitian, dan didasarkan pada bobot dari masing-masing indikator yang berasal dari variabel bebas yang memiliki kontribusi terbesar, maka diperoleh urutan prioritas indikator-indikator yang perlu segera diperbaiki dan yang perlu untuk tetap dipertahankan.

Abstract

In the era of information technology-based 4.0, all fields use information technology, as well as in the world of education. In learning, the use and use of information technology is very important in supporting the smooth teaching and learning process. So that the ability of teachers in information technology literacy is very important and needs to be developed. This study aims to describe the level of information technology literacy of mathematics teachers in private vocational schools in South Jakarta and identify the factors that influence it. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The research sample was 41 mathematics teachers at private vocational schools in South Jakarta, who were taken by purposive sampling technique. Information techniques through questionnaires and interviews. The results showed that the level of information technology literacy for mathematics teachers in private vocational schools in South Jakarta was still low. One of the factors affecting literacy is the lack of training in the use of information.

Abstract

The development of modules based on environmental attitudes has been initiated but has not yet been integrated with instruments. This research aims to develop learning biology material and test the instruments' reliability in improving students' environmental attitudes. This development research uses the 4D model by Thiagarajan (1974). Field testing was conducted involving 150 students of Senior High School 1 of Caringin – West Java, Indonesia. The data collection instruments using an expert validation sheet and students’ environmental attitudes sheet. Experts validation involved material, instructional design, and character education expert. Indicators for measuring environmental attitudes use the Environmental Attitude Scale (EAS), which consists of four subscales that refer to Ugulu (2013). According to EAS, the students' environmental attitudes are shown on the Eigen values of the four factors measured. The data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the suitability aspects of material design and character education followed the average values of 90, 78, and 88 respectively. Meanwhile, Eigen values for environmental awareness factors (5,718); attitudes towards recovery (4,683); attitudes towards recycling (3,512); environmental consciousness and behavior (2,285). While Cronbach Alpha coefficients 0.81. Thus, the instruments integrated into module development carried out in this study are very capable of measuring student environmental attitudes. This study recommends the use of modules in developing students' environmental attitudes.

Abstract

Teacher creativity in the learning process is actions that are deliberately taken by teachers to develop, convey and use new or different ideas from before in carrying out interactive, interesting and effective learning activities so as to improve learning outcomes.Based on the preliminary survey data, the above conditions can be concluded that the creativity of State MTs teachers in the work environment of the Ministry of Religion of East Jakarta City is still low. Therefore it needs to be upgraded to a better stage. However, the improvement in question, especially in terms of increasing teacher creativity, requires sufficient time because it is related to various factors that influence it. These factors include; organizational culture, empowerment and visionary leadership of school principals. The population in this study were PNS MTs Negeri teachers in the East Jakarta City area, totaling 622 people from 17 schools. The sampling technique used is a random sampling technique (proportional random sampling). Samples were taken using the Taro Yamane formula with a sampling error rate of 5%. The results of the calculation of the number of samples are 243 people.The results showed: 1) There is a positive relationship between organizational culture and teacher creativity so that strengthening organizational culture can increase teacher creativity, 2). There is a positive relationship between empowerment and teacher creativity so that strengthening empowerment can increase teacher creativity, 3). There is a positive relationship between school principal's visionary leadership and teacher creativity so that strengthening principal's visionary leadership can increase teacher creativity, 4). There is a positive relationship between organizational culture and empowerment together with teacher creativity so that strengthening organizational culture and empowerment together can increase teacher creativity, 5). There is a positive relationship between organizational culture and the principal's visionary leadership together with the creativity of teachers so that the strengthening of organizational culture and the principal's visionary leadership together can increase the creativity of teachers, 6). Abstract

This study aimed to obtain information about the relationship between students' abilities in analyzing environmental problems in the Citarum Watershed (DAS) and ecological literacy. In addition, to find out other factors that have a relationship with the ability of students to analyze environmental problems in the Citarum watershed and to analyze the ILMIZI model as an innovative learning model. This research was conducted from January to July 2020. Retrieval of quantitative data using test questions in the form of descriptions for variable Y and a combination of questionnaires and items for variable X. After the Pearson product moment correlation test was carried out, it was found that there was a low category positive relationship between ecological literacy and students' ability to analyze environmental problems in the Citarum watershed because it was still the low interest in reading students. Results of regression equation Ŷ = 88.025 + 0.474x with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.22 and r2 of 5.04%. The results of the ILMIZI learning model analysis showed that this model relevant to improve students' analytical skills. The conclusion of this study is that there is a low positive relationship between ecological literacy and students' ability to analyze environmental problems, and it can be improved with the ILMIZI model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian mixed method-exploratory. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor dominan (variabel temuan) yang mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir analisis serta bagaimana hubungan antara variabel temuan (variabel independen) dengan kemampuan berpikir analisis. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret hingga Juli 2018. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA di SMA Negeri 1 Ciawi tahun akademik 2017/2018. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportional random sampling. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 127 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara didapatkan variabel temuan yaitu minat belajar (X1) dan efektivitas pembelajaran (X2). Setelah dilakukan uji korelasi product moment person diperoleh hasil terdapat hubungan positif dalam kategori sedang antara X1 dengan Y ditunjukkan oleh koefisien korelasi ry1 sebesar 0,45 dan hubungan positif kategori sedang antara X2 dengan Y ditunjukkan oleh koefisien korelasi ry2 sebesar 0,43. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir analisis adalah minat belajar (X1) dan efektivitas pembelajaran (X2). Kedua variabel temuan tersebut memiliki hubungan positif kategori sedang dengan kemampuan berpikir analisis.

Abstract

The development of biology as a science and its application in technology that is increasingly rapidly encouraging innovative efforts to use technology results in biology learning. Currently, the biology learning process does not only use a single media but is required to use multimedia. This is done to make it easier for students to understand complex and very complex biological material. The aim of this paper is to provide an extensive bibliometric literature review on “multimedia biology education”. Articles found by Publishing or Perish software (PoP) with a Mendeley database. There are 200 articles found from the Google Scholar database from 2017 to 2021 which are analyzed in this study. The selected references are then managed using reference manager software, namely Mendeley. After managing the database, this research classifies and visualizes it using VOSviewer software. Overall, this review provides an appropriate reference point for further research on “multimedia biology education”. The search results 100 articles were obtained through the GS database and we found 55 articles were grouped from the GS database from 2017-2021 with the keyword 'biology education multimedia.This study aims to find research gaps for research on multimedia biology.
