The new normal period makes ICT-based education the spearhead of the implementation of learning. This becomes an obstacle and a challenge for students, especially in the mathematical problem-solving ability (MPSA), which is very important for students because it is a prior mathematical ability and is included in HOTS. Self-regulated learning in mathematics (SRL) also has a significant role in adapting to learning in the new normal and influences students' mathematical learning outcomes. However, the facts on the ground show that these two abilities are still low. To solve this problem, the researchers developed VBA Microsoft Word-based teaching materials on the relevant polyhedron materials for use so that learning would be more optimal. The method used in this research is an experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population is all the students in Cimahi City, while the sample is two classes randomly selected. This study indicates that VBA Microsoft Word-based teaching materials are appropriate to be applied in the new normal period, as indicated by the results of the achievement and improvement of MPSA and SRL of students is better than ordinary learning. There is an association between MPSA and SRL and positive response even though they still have difficulty making mathematical models on MPSA questions. Students are more enthusiastic in learning and don't get bored quickly; in line with the challenges of the new normal, the industrial revolution 4.0, and the learning curriculum, learning is more structured, interactive, effective, and efficient.

Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk membantu guru di sekolah dasar dalam membangun hubungan orang tua dan anak sebagai bentuk kerjasama antara orang tua dan guru melalui media “kartu bintang” dalam meningkatkan kualitas hubungan orang tua dan anak. Dalam pelatihan ini, metode yang digunakan yaitu metode ceramah untuk memberikan penjelasan tentang media “kartu bintang”, metode yang kedua yaitu tanya jawab sebagai wadah untuk sharing dan berbagi ilmu serta pengalaman seputar cara meningkatkan kualitas hubungan orang tua dan anak di rumah, dan yang terakhir yaitu mengadakan sosialisai dan pelatihan tentang cara penggunaan media “kartu bintang”. Sebagai mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Purwakarta. Dengan target luaran yakni guru di sekolah dasar khususnya wali kelas mampu membuat program bimbingan dan konseling berupa kegiatan kegiatan yang menggunakan media kreatif sebagai salah satu bentuk menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitas hubungan orang tua dan anak. Dan juga dari kegiatan ini diharapkan siswa dapat mengembangkan potensi dirinya kearah yang lebih positif. Hubungan orang tua dan anak dapat lebih dekat dengan adanya kegiatan sederhana yang dilakukan setiap harinya.Kata Kunci: Media Kartu Bintang, Kualitas Hubungan, Orang Tua dan Anak

This study is a developmental research aiming to produce Geogebra-assisted teaching and learning materials through Problem Posing for topic of Line Special in Triangle at year 7. This study uses Thiagarajan’s model of developmental research, without disseminate stage. The learning materials developed in this study were lesson plans and student worksheets. The subjects of this study were grade seven students at a private school in Cianjur Regency. In total, 13 male and 15 female students participated in this study. The results of this study show that (1) based validators’ review, the research instruments developed in this were very valid and practical, (2) based on students’ response, teaching materials fulfilled the practical category, and (3) based on the implementation in the classroom, student worksheets satisfied the effective category.

Siswa sekolah menengah mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi matematika yang abstrak, salah satunya bangun ruang sisi datar (BRSD). Alternatif pembelajaran yang dapat membantu kesulitan siswa pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar menggunakan discovery learning berbasis Visual Basic Applications (VBA) Microsoft Powerpoint. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalis respons ahli terhadap media VBA Microsoft Powerpoint, mendeskripsikan penerapan discovery learning berbasis VBA Microsoft Powerpoint pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar, dan menganalisis respons siswa terhadap penggunaan media VBA Microsoft Powerpoint. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah satu kelas siswa kelas VIII pada salah satu SMP di kota Bandung. Instrumen menggunakan lembar validasi media dan skala pendapat siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan respons ahli terhadap tampilan media sangat baik, sedangkan respons ahli terhadap sajian materi pada media sudah baik. Penerapan discovery learning berbasis VBA Microsoft Powerpoint memiliki tahap-tahap yaitu stimulation, problem statement, data collection, data processing, verification, dan generalization. Respons siswa terhadap penggunaan media VBA Microsoft Powerpoint sudah baik. Mereka dapat memahami materi BRSD melalui media VBA Microsoft Powerpoint, aktif mengikuti pembelajaran, dan merasa senang.

Difficulties experienced by students will be perceived as a burden that exceeds the limits of students’ ability and may impact negatively on the students way of thinking as well as their behavior as indicated by their inability to assess himself in overcoming obstacles or pressures. Thus, it is necessary for the student to have an ability to control the events or situations that are happening or will happen which are known as locus of control. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral therapy in improving the locus of control of students who experience academic stress. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design pattern. The results of a preliminary study of 162 students found that 3.7% of students experienced high academic stress, 35.2% moderate, and 61.1% low. The research subjects were students who were in the categorized as high academic stress as many as 6 people who were then given a locus of control questionnaire to measure the effectiveness before and after the administration of cognitive-behavioral therapy treatments. The results of data analysis obtained 0.028 <0.05 indicated that there was a difference between the level of locus of control before and after treatment is given so that it can be interpreted that cognitive-behavioral therapy gave significant contribution in increasing the locus of control of students who experience academic stress.Keywords: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Locus of Control, Academic Stress.

Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan dan keaktifan siswa dalam menulis teks eksposisi pada kelas VIII SMP Kartika XIX-2 Bandung melalui penggunaan metode Think Talk Write. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi dan keaktifan belajar siswa. Ketuntasan kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi siswa pada siklus I mencapai 48%, siklus II 52%, dan siklus III 60%. Demikian juga keaktifan siswa, pada siklus I mencapai 24%, siklus II 36 %, dan siklus III 56%. Dengan demikian, penggunaan metode think talk write dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi dan meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dalam pelaksanaannya.Kata kunci: menulis, teks eksposisi, think talk writeThis classroom action research aims to improve students' ability and activeness in writing exposition text in class VIII SMP Kartika XIX-2 Bandung through the use of the Think Talk Write method. The results showed that there was an increase in the ability to write exposition text and students' learning activeness. The completeness of the students' exposition text writing ability in cycle I reached 48%, cycle II 52%, and cycle III 60%. Likewise, the activeness of students, in cycle I reached 24%, cycle II 36%, and cycle III 56%. Thus, the use of the think talk write method can improve the ability to write exposition text and increase students' activeness in its implementation. This research is motivated by the students' low mathematical creative thinking abilities. The purpose of this research is to examine the achievement and improvement of students' mathematical creative thinking abilities whose learning uses the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model assisted by monopoly game media. This research is a quasi-experimental type with pretest-posttest control group design with experimental class using Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model assisted by monopoly game media and control class using conventional learning. The population in this study were fifth-grade elementary school students in Cimahi City, while the samples were 30 students each for the experimental and control classes. Data collection techniques used are tests, observations, and documentation with data analysis using statistical data analysis. The results showed the average experimental class value of pretest reached 4.97 and the posttest reached 11.97 with an N-gain value of 0.46. While in the control class the average pretest value reached 4.50 and the posttest reached 9.70 with an N-gain value of 0.34. It can be concluded that the use of CRH learning models assisted by monopoly game media is more effective in achieving and increasing students' creative thinking abilities compared to conventional learning.

Community development in a village certainly should start from the existing potentials in the village both the potential of human resources and natural resources potential. To view these potentials need for demographic mapping of a village. Therefore, in this study the demographic mapping of Ciburuy village was carried out through real work activities. The purpose of this study was to map the demographics of Ciburuy village and to see the relevance of the real work activities of STKIP Siliwangi programs in Ciburuy village. The method used in this study is the qualitative research method. Data collection is done directly using the observation sheet and questionnaire. Demographic status Ciburuy village viewed from various fields, namely the field of population, education, health, religion, social and culture is the right village to be used as a village area guided by STKIP Siliwangi. Potentials that exist in Ciburuy consists of potential natural resources such as situ ciburuy, plantations, agriculture, fisheries, and limestone mines. Potential local products such as comring business, bamboo carving, making aquariums, making tables and chairs from Olympic materials, and making sequins. There is relevance between the real work program of STKIP Siliwangi and programs at Ciburuy village.

This study aims to determine the relationship between self confidence on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students of SMK on the sequence and series material. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. The place of research conducted at SMK Al-Ibrohimiyah Cianjur academic year 2018/2019 class XII Administration Offices with the number of 17 students. The instruments in this research are self confidence scale questionnaire and math solving ability test. Analysis of data used in this study using SPSS 21.00 with product moment analysis to measure the relationship of self confidence to the ability of problem solving mathematically. Based on the calculation, the result of data analysis shows that there is a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.784 with p = 0,000 (p <0.01) which means there is a significant positive relationship between self confidence on the ability of problem solving mathematically. This means that self confidence covering the aspects that exist in it can be used as a predictor to measure the ability of problem solving mathematically, the higher the self confidence of students, the students have good problem solving skills, otherwise the lower the students' self confidence, the students has a poor problem solving ability.

This research is motivated by the low ability of mathematics understanding of junior high school students, with the aim of the study is to examine the achievement, improvement, implementation, and difficulty of mathematics understanding ability of junior high school students through learning using Geogebra-assisted scientific approach. The method of this research is an experimental method with two class groups namely experimental class and control class. The population of this research is all junior high school in West Bandung Regency, randomly selected and selected SMP Krida Utama Padalarang. Samples were taken randomly class VIII chosen D as an experimental class, and class VIII C as control class. The experimental level received learning with the Geogebra-assisted scientific approach, and the control class gained regular learning. The results showed that the achievement and improvement of the ability of mathematical understanding between students who received learning with scientific approach assisted Geogebra software better with students who get regular learning. Learning with Geogebra-assisted scientific approach can be implemented in the experimental class by the steps of the scientific method of observing, asking, exploring, associating, and communicating.
