Abstract

Enterpreneurship has become one of the main pillars for the development of society’s welfare. University students who hold the future generations have a strategic role in becoming futureenterpreneurs. The most dominant character of enterpreneurship is innovative behavior. The innovative behavior determinant model has been developed previously by the author and has beentested with university students in general and university students who were competing in a university students creativity grant competition. In this study, the author wanted to test theinnovative behavior model particularly with university student enterpreneurs. By using this model, a model for developing innovative behavior in university will be able to be developed further. By using a phenomenological method, 10 undergraduate students who were also enterpreneurs in the Program Mahasiswa Wirausaha (Program of Enterpreneur Students) participated in the study. The result was then concluded as an innovative behavior determinant model for student enterpreneurs.The model was different from the general innovative behavior determinant model. The most dominant psychological aspects found in this study were courage in taking risk and persistent highmotivation. Whereas in the process aspect, ‘love’ aspect in doing enterpreneurship was found as influencing the innovative behavior of student enterpreneurs.

Abstract

This study was intended to understand how the phenomenon of gender equity and reproductive rights in pesantren using the theoretical framework of attitude. The research wasconducted in a qualitative approach through a case study method. Sources of data consisted of 10 interviewed subjects, 18 FGD subjects, and survey of 327 subjects. Subjects were varyingfrom pesantren’s supervisor, teacher, manager and doctor of pesantren’s Community Health Center, and santri itself. Data was also obtained from the observation of the supervisors’behaviors and the pesantren’s environment. Subjects tended to agree in distinguishing the male and female gender role based on what’s happening, different from the religious teachingsthey learned which tended to be gender fair. Regarding with women reproductive cases, subjects tended to be gender biased based on the interpretation of religious texts although theyadmitted that it was hard to be manifested in behavior, example: prefering monogamous marriage,never beating women, and not promoting early marriage. Subjects agreed andunderstood that women had different, and yet more complex anatomical processes and functions, however their health service were just considered the same as men.

Abstract

Many research in knowledge sharing has focused their attention on the roles of information and technology factor. Recently, there is a consideration that human factors such as social interaction, trust and leadership play keyrole in knowledge sharing behavior. This study aimed to investigate the factors affecting employeesʹ knowledge sharing within an organization by combining transformational leadership and trust as predictor of knowledge sharing behavior. This research used survey method, and take 99 employees of PT. Bina Karya Jakarta as sample. The instruments to get data was questionnaire of Likert’s Scale, that consisted of leadership scale, organizational trust scale, managerial trust, co‐worker trust scale and knowledge sharing scale. The research found that transformational leadership, organizational trust, management trust and co‐worker trust together have significant effect on knowledge sharing behavior with r=0,264. The regression coefficient also shows there is only the co‐worker trust that have the most significant effect on knowledge sharing behavior. These findings need to be discussed for further research especially to gain understanding about the role transformational leadership and trust on knowledge sharing that vary, depends on the situation and condition.

Abstract

This study examines the deservingness theory of envy over success stories post in social media. The hypotheses are that there is a difference in; (1) the level of deservingness on posting stories of success gained through high effort (KUT) with success gained through low effort (KUR), (2) the level of envy over KUT and KUR posts, and (3) there is an influence of deservingness toward envy over KUT and KUR posts. A total of 214 undergraduate students became a subject of this research. The measurement of envy (y1) and deservingness (y2) over success post (x) used the scenario method. We used MANOVA-RM as the analysis technique to explore the envy and deservingness scores on KUT and KUR. MANCOVA-RM analysis was used to determine the effect of deserving­ness to envy. The findings suggest that envy increases when subjects are exposed to KUR post because of low deservingness.  Abstrak. Studi ini menguji teori deservingness mengenai iri terhadap postingan kesuksesan di situs jejaring sosial. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah (1) terdapat perbedaan penilaian deservingness pada postingan kesuksesan pada usaha tinggi (KUT) dan kesuksesan usaha rendah (KUR), (2) terdapat perbedaan emosi iri pada postingan KUT dan KUR, dan (3) terdapat pengaruh penilaian deservingness terhadap iri pada postingan KUT dan KUR. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode skenario. Sebanyak 214 mahasiswamenjadi subjek penelitian. Pengukuran iri (y1) dan penilaian deservingness (y2) terhadap postingan kesuksesan (x) menggunakan metode skenario. Teknik analisis MANOVA-RM untuk melihat skor iri dan penilaian deservingness terhadap KUT dan KUR. Analisis MANCOVA-RM untuk melihat pengaruh penilaian deservingness terhadap iri. Hasil studi membuktikan hipotesis bahwa iri semakin meningkat ketika subjek melihat postingan KUR karena adanya penilaian deservingness yang rendah.

Abstract

 This study aimed to investigate that parental care as a mediator for the value of children influenced the independence of children with down syndrome (DS). The subject of research were 57 children DS who have an IQ score at least 25, living with parents, have no motor disorders, both on the hands or feet. The research method used the quantitative method. The data analyzed with path analysis. Results of the study found that parental care was proven to be the mediator for the value of children in influenced the independence of children with DS. Abstrak. Artikel ini merupakan bagian kecil dari disertasi penulis. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah pengasuhan orang tua menjadi mediator bagi nilai anak di mata orang tua dalam memengaruhi kemandirian anak dengan down syndrome (DS). Subjek penelitian meliputi 57 anak dengan DS yang memiliki IQ minimal 25, tinggal dengan orang tua, tidak memiliki masalah sensori, tidak memiliki gangguan gerak, baik pada tangan maupun kaki. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis jalur sebagai teknik analisis data. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa pengasuhan orang tua terbukti menjadi mediator bagi nilai anak di mata orang tua dalam memengaruhi kemandirian anak dengan DS.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the psychometric properties of the modified version of the Work Engagement Scale in the Indonesian context, by adding one aspect and test the effect of types of occupation using the multiple indicator multiple cause (MIMIC) model for testing measurement invariance. The sample of this study included 459 workers in Indonesia using 16 items of the Work Engagement Scale. The results revealed that Indonesian respondents have Asian characteristics, but they come from various ethnicities and cultures. By including university lecturers and industrial workers as respondents and performing confirmatory factor analysis followed by MIMIC model, it is discovered that Indonesian employees have satisfactory psychometric properties in all four dimensions, which comprise the constructs of the work engagement scale. The findings provide an insight into in the Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) Model of work engagement in Indonesian context consisted of vigor, dedication, absorption, and contribution dimensions from theoretical understanding. MIMIC model gives an evidence that the occupation types can affect the factor structure of work engagement, indicating that measurement invariance are not hold.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to adapt and validate the Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale-12 in a group of married individuals in Indonesia during the pandemic of Covid-19. Getting married is a significant transitional stage for individuals. Previous research has shown that married couples experience anxiety over their lives and family as a response to uncertain conditions. The Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale-12 is a scale to measure individual responses to uncertainty. However, as the best of researcher’s knowledge, there was no Indonesian version that has been culturally adapted and validated. This research used quantitative method and 203 participants participated in this study through snowball sampling. Data analysis utilized factor analysis with the exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) to measure construct validity, Aiken’s V to measure content validity, and Cronbach’s Alpha to measure reliability. Results showed that model fit at the 4 factors according to χ2, RMSEA, SRMSR, CFI, and TLI scores. Those aspects are negative perception of uncertainty, desire for certainty, behavioral inhibition due to uncertainty, and helplessness toward uncertainty. Furthermore, explanation about the factors formation will be discussed. Keywords: adaptation, Indonesia, IUS-12, married individuals, validation Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengadaptasi dan memvalidasi the Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale-12 pada kelompok individu yang telah menikah di Indonesia selama pandemi Covid-19. Menikah merupakan tahap transisi yang cukup signifikan bagi individu. Penelitian sebelumnya telah menunjukkan bahwa pasangan menikah mengalami kecemasan sebagai respon atas ketidakpastian. The Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale-12 merupakan skala untuk mengukur respon individu atas ketidakpastian namun sebatas pengetahuan peneliti, belum ada versi Bahasa Indonesia yang telah melalui proses adaptasi dan validasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan partisipan berjumlah 203 orang yang diperoleh dengan snowball sampling. Analisis data menggunakan analisis faktor dengan exploratory factor analysis (EFA) dan confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) untuk mengukur validitas konstruk, Aiken’s V untuk mengukur validitas isi, dan Cronbach’s Alpha untuk mengukur reliabilitas. Hasil analisis menunjukkan kesesuaian model dengan 4 faktor (aspek) didasarkan pada skor χ2, RMSEA, SRMSR, CFI, dan TLI. Aspek tersebut yaitu persepsi negatif terhadap ketidakpastian, hasrat akan kepastian, tindakan terhalangi oleh ketidakpastian, dan ketidakberdayaan menghadapi ketidakpastian. Abstract

Tulisan ini bermaksud mengungkapkan aspek-aspek psikologis yang terjadi pada diri penuntut umum dalam proses peradilan pidana. Proses peradilan sendiri d1bagi dalam tiga tingkat, yaitu tingkat pengusutan, tingkat penuntutan, dan tingkat pemeriksaan. Pada tingkat penuntutan, faktor­-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap berat ringannya hukuman adalah faktor penguasaan penuntut umum atas perkara yang dihadapt, faktor kepribadian penuntut umum, dan taktor gaya penjelasan penuntut umum me­ngenai penyebab peristiwa. Sementara dalam tingkat pemeriksaan. be­berapa tindakan penuntut umum yang berpengaruh terhadap putusan hakim adalah pemilihan kata, kemampuan menguji kebenaran suatu ke­saksian, kemampuan menyesuaikan diri, tuntutan umum dan putusan hakim, impresi terhadap terdakwa, dan kredibilitas pembela. Abstract

Masa Purna Bakti merupakan suatu babakan baru dalam kehidupan manusia yang selalu dipenuhi perubahan. Reaksi-reaksi ketika memasuki masa purna bakti, baik positif maupun negatif, akan senantiasa menyertainya. Bagi orang yang memandang masa purna bakti secara positif, tentu masa purna bakti ini menjadi lembaran yang bermakna dalam kehidupannya dan diisi dengan berbagai aktifitas positif dalam mengisi waktu luang yang dimiliki. Lain halnya dengan mereka yang memandangnya dari sisi negatif, masa purna bakti akan menjadi masa-masa sulit dalam kehidupannya.            Tulisan ini dimaksudkan untuk menyoroti stres pada masa purna bakti sebagai salah satu bentuk reaksi negatif yang muncul. Tulisan ini memuat uraian tentang stres, reaksi yang dimunculkan, sumber-sumber yang dapat memunculkan stres pada masa purna bakti, dan yang menjadi fokus pembahasan adalah upaya mengelola stres pada masa purna bakti.  Kata Kunci    :   Stres, Purna bakti

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has pushed people to experience the situasion of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA) which has the potential to cause various mental health problems. Research on Intolerance of Uncertainty (IU) is immportant because of its crucial role as a risk factor for mental health disorders. Unfortunately, the measuring tool for that cognitive function has not yet been adapted into Indonesian culture and language. This Study aims to adapt the 12-item Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale (IUS-12) to Indonesia and determine the psychometric properties of the scale.
