Abstract

People know that the internet today has become an integral part of the lifestyle of various Indonesian community groups, but the results of surveys conducted by the Indonesian Internet Network Organizing Association are known to have access to educational pages are still very lacking. The online-based flipped classroom learning model is packaged to appeal to students and is a learning that adapts online learning in times of pandemic by directing students to utilize the internet for learning. This study was a classroom action research by applying online-based flipped classroom model to improve Students’ Mathematics Result And Interest. The classroom action research was done in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The findings of this research revealed that the online-based flipped classroom model could improve students’ mathematics results and interest. At the end of the first cycle, the students’ mathematics result was still in the medium category and increased at the end of the second cycle, which students’ mathematics result has been in high category, and students’ mathematics interest has been more than 80% that is reaching the expected target.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari laporan penelitian kolaborasi model assurance-relevance-interest-assessment-satisfactiondengan Think-Talk-Write untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan penalaran kreatif matematik serta motivasi berprestasi siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain kelompok kontrol pretes-postes yang bertujuan untuk menelaah peranan kolaborasi model assurance-relevance-interest-assessment-satisfaction(ARIAS) dengan Think Talk Write(TTW) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematik dan motivasi berprestasi siswa SMP. Populasidalampenelitianini adalahseluruhsiswaSMPdi Carenang,dan secarapurposifsampelnyadipilih siswakelasVII darisalahsatuSMPdiCarenang dandipilihdua kelasVIIsecara acakdari kelasVIIyangada. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, disimpulkan: 1) peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematik siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran kolaborasi model ARIAS dengan TTW lebih baik daripada yang memperoleh pembelajaran biasa;2) motivasi berprestasi siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran kolaborasi model ARIAS dengan TTWlebih baik dari pada yang memperoleh pembelajaran biasa; dan 3) terdapat asosiasi antara motivasi berprestasi dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematik siswa.

Abstract

A person who can think critically in mathematics means having a high level of ability and is a fundamental ability that students must have to learn mathematics. The research aims to determine the influence of understanding the ARIAS model on students' critical thinking skills in terms of learning style. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a post-test nonequivalent control group design. The research population is a student majoring in mathematics education at Bina Bangsa University, then selected two classes as research subjects. The acquisition of data from mathematical critical thinking skills tests and learning style questionnaires was then processed with the ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) test. The results showed a significant difference in mathematical necessary thinking skills between students and ARIAS learning and ordinary learning and judging from students' learning styles. There was a substantial difference in mathematical critical thinking skills. Furthermore, it is known that there is an interaction between the type of learning and its learning style towards students' mathematical necessary thinking skills.

Abstract

Abstrak: Lingkaran merupakan bagian dari geometri yaitu sebagai dasar mempelajari bangun-bangun lain seperti tabung dan kerucut. Namun lingkaran masih menjadi momok bagi siswa dan masih banyak siswa memperoleh nilai tergolong rendah. Tujuan kegiatan yaitu memberikan pengalaman belajar yang bermakna dan berkesan menggunakan media manipulatif dalam pembelajaran matematika yaitu membuktikan luas lingkaran dengan pendekatan bangun datar lainnya. Metode pengumpulan datanya yaitu metode survey dengan memberikan angket kuesioner kepada siswa setelah kegiatan berlangsung dan dokumentasi berupa foto kegiatan. Subjek pengabdian yaitu siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 1 Tanara Banten yang berjumlah 26 orang. Hasil kuesioner diketahui bahwa rata-rata siswa memberi respon >80% untuk semua pernyataan yang diberikan, artinya dengan adanya kegiatan pembelajaran dengan media manipulatif siswa menjadi lebih percaya diri dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal lingkaran, mengembangkan keterampilan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah, dan melatih kemampuan komunikasi. Pengetahuan siswa terhadap materi luas lingkaran bukan sekedar hapalan tapi pemahaman yang berkesan. Selanjutnya hasil tes akhir menunjukan bahwa nilai matematika siswa meningkatkan drastis dibandingkan dengan tes awal.   Abstract:  Circles are part of the geometry that is the basis of learning other builds such as tubes and cones. But circles are still a scourge for students and many students still get low grades. The purpose of the activity is to provide a meaningful and memorable learning experience using manipulative media in mathematical learning that is to prove the breadth of the circle with other flat-build approaches. The method of data collection is the survey method by providing questionnaire questionnaires to students after the activity and documentation in the form of photos of activities. The subjects of devotion were grade IX students at SMP Negeri 1 Tanara Banten which numbered 26 people. The results of the questionnaire found that the average student responded >80% to all statements given, meaning that with learning activities with manipulative media students become more confident in solving circle questions, developing students' skills in problem-solving, and training communication skills. Students' knowledge of the broad material of the circle is not just memory but a memorable understanding. Furthermore, the final test results show that students' math scores improve drastically compared to the initial test.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa: 1) peningkatan kemampuan penalaran kreatif matematik siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran kolaborasi model pembelajaran ARIAS dengan TTW lebih baik daripada yang memperoleh pembelajaran biasa; 2) motivasi berprestasi siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran kolaborasi model ARIAS dengan TTW lebih baik dari pada yang memperoleh pembelajaran biasa; dan 3) terdapat asosiasi antara motivasi berprestasi dengan kemampuan penalaran kreatif matematik siswa.

Abstract

The article was to determine student perceptions in online learning. This research was conducted by survey method by giving questionnaires to 239 active students of Bina Bangsa University. Quantitative data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and qualitative data from open-ended questions to gain insight into student perceptions. The analysis shows that 80% of students are willing to take part in online learning, 62% of students claim online learning provides benefits, and 32% of students have difficulty understanding the material. In conclusion, the perception of students in online learning is relatively good with several obstacles that require improvement. So it is recommended that online learning should be planned, implemented, and evaluated in order to minimize problems and maximize the achievement of learning objectives An abstract should explain a brief, comprehensive summary of article contents; it allows readers to survey. Abstract

Lack of teacher knowledge on the importance of caring for child psychology in packing the online learning process. The purpose of the activity is educating participants, especially teachers, that in the application of an online learning model should pay attention to the needs of students ' psychology while motivating students to be active during the learning process with the learning model of assurance-relevance-interest-assessment-satisfaction. The method of implementation is to cooperate with the child protection institution of Banten Province in the webinar activities via Zoom and aired live via YouTube. The data collection is a photo-documentation of activities and questionnaires given after the activity to 120 participants. The result is for all aspects (material delivery aspect, aspect of material content, aspect benefit activities) on the poll given more than 50% participants responded: "very well". In conclusion, this activity enhances the knowledge of webinar participants, especially teachers/educators about packing an online learning plan by observing the students ' psychological needs while motivating students to be active during the learning process with the assurance-relevance-interest-assessment-satisfaction learning model

Abstract

Berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara diketahui guru relatif awam dan belum mengetahui bagaimana mengoptimalkan pembelajaran yang meningkatkan kemampuan HOTS dan masih kebingungan membuat soal HOTS. Perlu adanya pengenalan pembelajaran HOTS dan mengembangkan soal HOTS. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 18 guru MTs Massaratul muta'allimin Banten. Temuannya yaitu lebih dari 70% peserta menyatakan bahwa: 1) kegiatan menambah wawasan pembelajaran HOTS dan soal HOTS; 2) penyajian materi cukup interaktif; 3) materi yang disajikan membantu guru meningkatkan wawasan tentang HOTS; 4) materi mengandung unsur interaktif; 5) kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan keterampilan dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran HOTS; 6) peserta setuju untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pengembangan keterampilan pembelajaran HOTS; 7) kegiatan ini sangat mendukung pembelajaran saat ini; 8) peserta akan berusaha mengembangkan pembelajaran HOTS secara efisien dan efektif dalam pembelajaran di kelas; 9) kegiatan ini membantu meningkatkan pendatang profesional; dan 10) termotivasi untuk terlibat aktif mengikuti kegiatan serupa untuk selanjutnya. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan PKM ini diketahui: 1) pengetahuan dan pemahaman guru tentang pembelajaran HOTS meningkat; dan 2) guru memiliki keterampilan dalam menyajikan masalah HOTS dan mampu mengimplementasikannya dalam pembelajaran di kelas.

Abstract

Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah: 1) mengedukasi guru tentang pentingnya memahami gaya belajar siswa; 2) mengedukasi guru cara mengenal gaya belajar siswa; dan 3) mengedukasi guru cara mengimplementasikan gaya belajar dalam pembelajaran daring. Metode pelaksanaannya yaitu analisis kondisi mitra, persiapan konsep, administrasi, proposal, kegiatan, penyebaran angket, evaluasi, analisis data, dan laporan. Teknik analisis dengan metode survey yaitu pengumpulan data dengan memberikan angket kuesioner, wawancara langsung, dan dokumentasi foto kegiatan. Subjeknya adalah 15 guru-guru SMP Negeri 1 Tanara Banten. Hasil kegiatannya dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) guru memahami tentang pentingnya mengidentifikasi gaya belajar siswa dalam merancang proses pembelajaran daring; 2) guru mengetahui cara-cara mengidentifikasi gaya belajar siswa; dan 3) guru mengetahui cara mengimplementasikan gaya belajar dalam pembelajaran daring
