Source of data in this research are thesis of Education Administration Students Study Program, Post Graduate Program, Syiah Kuala University. Primary instrument of this research is human instrument. Collecting data was done by (1) reading all souce of data; (2) identifying sentences error; (3) classifying error sentences which consist of spelling error, diction error, and sentences error. Abstract

Promosi merupakan salah satu hal terpenting yang harus diterapkan dalam mengembangkan lembaga pendidikan, karena promosi adalah berkaitan langsung dalam upaya untuk memperkenalkan produk kepada konsumen dengan memikat hati mereka melalui pemberian kesan – kesan baik, yang mampu di ingat dan dirasakan oleh konsumen. Jika konsumen telah kenal terhadap produk atau jasa yang ditawarkan oleh perusahaan, maka diharapkan akan memiliki minat untuk mengambil suatu keputusan yang positif. Komunikasi visual merupakan media, sebagai alat bantu yang dapat digunakan untuk memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat mengenai bidang, karakteristik, visi dan misi sesuai dengan citra atau image dari lembaga pendidikan yang dijalankan. Melihat sangat pentingnya dalam perancangan komunikasi visual tersebut, maka menjadi suatu keharusan dalam menciptakan dan memberikan kesan terhadap produk – produk yang dipasarkan melalui kegiatan dan usaha – usaha dalam pemasaran ataupun bisnis. Dan semua itu tidak lepas dari perancangan komunikasi visual yang bisa diartikan sebagai ekspresi atau perancangan grafis dalam sebuah media, sehingga pesan yang hendak disampaikan oleh perusahaan atau instansi dapat diterima dengan baik dan komunikatif oleh masyarakat. Jika komunikasi visual tidak dibuat dengan perencanaan dan perancangan yang baik, hal tersebut akan menciptakan buruknya pesan yang akan disampaikan kepada masyarakat, dan hal tersebut akan berdampak negatif dalam kemajuan usaha perusahaan atau instansi. Desain komunikasi visual media promosi ini terdiri dari spanduk, brosur, flyer dan poster.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to improve students mathematical reasoning with the application of teaching mathematics through problem solving. This models consist of four fase, that is: giving problems, investigation, presentation results, and evaluation results. Method of research is quasi experimental is implemented in class X-A SMA Al Muslimun Pelalawan Riau. Subject of this study were 19 students who divided into groups of 4-5 students with the capability of high, medium, and low. The instrument used was a test and observation. In the pretest result there were 10 students with sufficient reasoning and good criteria. While on the posttest there were 19 students with the criterion of mathematical reasoning is good. No students obtains criterion of mathematical reasoning is very good in two test.

Abstract

Kurang tertariknya siswa belajar fisika karena guru tidak memanfaatkan media yang menarik pada proses pembelajaran, sehingga mengakibatkan hasil belajar siswa yang rendah. Maka dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis ada tidaknya perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara yang menggunakan media slide dan video edukasi pokok bahasan listrik dinamis di SMP Negeri 10 Banjarmasin. Metode penelitian adalah kuasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas IX yang berjumlah 204 siswa. Sampel diambil secara cluster random sampling, dimana kelas eksperimen 1 yaitu kelas IX-E menggunakan media slide, dan kelas eksperimen 2 yaitu kelas IX-F menggunakan video edukasi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes hasil belajar dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik parametrik dengan t-test independent sampel. Pengujian hipotesis menunjukan  bahwa nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,00 < 0,05), dan diperkuat dengan perhitungan uji beda secara manual dengan nilai thitung lebih besar dari pada ttabel (3,402 >  2,04). Kedua hasil perhitungan menunjukan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima yang artinya terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara yang menggunakan media slide dan video edukasi. Nilai rata-rata tes hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan video edukasi lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas yang menggunakan media slide, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara yang menggunakan media slide dan video edukasi pada pokok bahasan listrik dinamis di SMP Negeri 10 Banjarmasin.

Abstract

Improvement of human quality in a country used internationally in the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).One of the MDGs goal is to reduce child mortality by two thirds. Based on Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS) 2007, approximately 146,000 infants aged 0-1 years and 86,000 new borns (0-28 day extension Lalang village health center field. This research is a quasi experimental design with One - Group Pretest-Posttest and the total sample of 30 people. The instrument used in this study is to test the validity and reliability test. Methods of data analysis using the chi-square test with 95% degree of confidence. The results showed that prior to counseling ( pre-test) indicates knowledge of mothers gained a mean of 17.03, standard deviation of 7.69, and a standar error of 1.40 value. After counseling(Post-test) indicates knowledge of mothers gained a mean of23.50, standard deviation7.57, and the standard error value of 1.38. It is expected that this research can be used by nurse educators to develop appropriate teaching methods to improve students ability in understanding how to make good health education so that students can apply them in the community.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The objective of the research was to find out the correlation between mothers’ knowledge and the implementation of basic immunization at Karang Sari Huta 3 Village, Gunung Maligas Subdistrict, Simalungn District. The research was quantitative correlation design. The population was al mothers who had babies at Karang Sari Huta 3, and the samples were 53 10-12 month-old babies. The data were gathered by distributing questionnaires and analyzed by using Spearman Rank (Rho) correlation test. The result of the research showed that the result of Spearman Rank (Rho) correlation test was 0.576 at the significance level of 1% and p-value < α (0.000 < 0.01) so that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted which indicated that there was positive correlation between mothers’ knowledge and the implementation of basic immunization in babies at Karang Sari Huta 3 Village, Gunung Maligas Subdistrict, Simalungun District. It is recommended that health care providers at this village improve health service by using the procedure and schedules about giving basic immunization to babies. Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan, Pelaksanaan Imunisasi Dasar

Abstract

Abstract: The article explain about researchs to improve the learning process and mathematical problem solving skill of grade VII students with the implementation of realistic mathematics education approach. This type of this research is classroom action research with two cycle. This research was conducted in the in the second semester of academic year 2017/2018. Subjects were 25 female students of class VIIA1 MTs Darel Hikmah Pekanbaru. The research instrument consists of learning instruments and instruments of collecting data. The Learning instruments used include syllabus, lesson plans, and student activity sheets. While the instruments of collecting data covered: observation sheet were used to find out the data of students and teacher activity during learning process, and problem solving test were used to collect the student’s mathematical problem solving skill data. After analysis of implementing the realsitic mathematics educations on students and teacher activity, it can be concluded there was an improvement of learning process at each cycle. While analysis of problem solving test data, the mean of the student’s learning achievement had improved 29.53% from pre-cycle to cycle I and 18.67% from cycle I to cycle II. The improvement of student’s learning achievement founded four each indicator of mathematical problem solving skill. This study concludes that the implementation of realistic mathematics educations improved the learning process and mathematical problem solving skill at class VIIA1 MTs Darel Hikmah Pekanbaru.Key Words: Realistic mathematics educations, mathematical problem solving skill, learningactivity

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe how the students mathematical reasoning profiles in making proof in the real analysis course. This research is a descriptive research. Techniques used to collect data is to provide tests to 25 students of semester V in Real Analysis courses. Data analysis is done by reducing data, presenting data, and make conclusions. The results showed that the students ability in making proof includes four mathematical reasoning indicators: making guesses, doing mathematical manipulations, giving reasons/explanations, and drawing conclusions. The four mathematical reasoning indicators appear in high-ability students, while midle- ability students are mastering two to three indicators of mathematical reasoning, and low-ability students master one mathematical reasoning indicator.
