Abstract

The meaning of conservation covers all preservation activities based on the local situation and condition. Preservation activities can also cover the conservation scope, restoration, reconstruction, adaptation and revitalization. The needs of conservation is inevitable. Without preservation, the natural phenomena, natural destruction, and either the renewable or unrenewable natural resources destruction will always ongoing. The Conservation Education is substantially urgent besides the conservation advocation and participative development. Conservation values which need to preserve and maintain are the values of planting, using, preserving, and learning physically and non-physically. Conservation move is a mutual aid, and impossible to be done alone. Beside, conservation move, must not be an exclusive move, but how to create a conservation move which gains supports and involves public participation. Conservation move is a tool, therefore, the words “the unity of words and actions” and a saying “ do what is said and say what is done” shall be the spirit of conservation. Makna konservasi dapat meliputi seluruh kegiatan   pemeliharaan sesuai dengan situasi dan kondisi setempat.  Kegiatan konservasi dapat pula mencakupi ruang lingkup  preservasi, restorasi, rekonstruksi, adaptasi dan revitalisasi. Perlunya konservasi merupakan sebuah keniscayaan.  Pendidikan konservasi sangatlah urgen di samping advokasi konservasi dan pembangunan partisifatif. Nilai-nilai konservasiyang perlu ditumbuhkembangkan dan dipelihara yaitu nilai menanam, memanfaatkan, melestarikan, dan mempelajari dalam arti fisik dan non-fisik. Gerakan konservasi merupakan kerja bersama, tidak mungkin dilaksanakan sendirian. Selain itu, gerakan konservasi, semestinya tidak menjadi gerakan yang eksklusif, tetapi bagaimanakah menciptakan gerakan konservasi yang mendapatkan dukungan dan melibatkanpublik. Gerakan konservasi adalah sebuah alat, oleh karena itu, petuah “satunya kata dan perbuatan”, serta seloka “apa yang dikatakan dilakukan dan apa yang dilakukan dikatakan”, harus menjadi kulminasi spirit dari konservasi.

Abstract

Sebagai tenaga profesional, guru harus merencanakan, melaksanakan, menilai pembelajaran, membimbing dan melatih peserta didik, serta melaksanakan tugas tambahan. Tujuan penelitian adalah memotret jenis pembalajaran dalam tim  yang diimplentasikan para guru, mendeskripsikan perencanaan yang seharusnya disiapkan para guru, merumuskan keuntungan dan kekurangan pembelajaran dalam tim yang dirasakan para guru dan para siswa, mendeskripsikan hal-hal yang harus diperhatikan para guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran dalam tim. Pendekatan penelitian adalah deskriptif dengan unit analisis para kepala/wakil kepala sekolah, dan para guru  SMP, SMA, dan SMK Kota Semarang dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 84 orang yang ditarik secara acak. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, dokumentasi, dan wawancara mendalam secara terbatas. Data terkumpul dianalisis dengan memadukan analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Studi ini menunjukan bahwa pembalajaran dalam tim telah banyak diimplentasikan dengan bentuk yang bervariasi: tradisional, kolaboratif,  bimbingan/dorongan, paralel, pemisahan/perbedaan kelas, pengawasan, kelompok anggota, perbedaan sub-kelompok, dan perencanaan individual. Manfaat yang dirasakan oleh para guru adalah saling mengisi materi, saling menutup  kelemahan, menanggulangi pembelajaran yang luas dan kompleks, meningkatkan kerjasama, dan memberi peluang kepada para guru muda bertim dengan guru senior. Aspek penting yang harus diperhatikan adalah pemilikan rasa saling mempercayai, mampu berkomunikasi secara efektif, saling memberi dan menerima, bersikap terbuka, jaminan ketuntasan belajar, dominasi salah seorang tim, penyatuan gagasan/ide, materi kurang fokus, masih ada rasa egois seseorang,dan kurangnya saling percaya diri. Teachers, as professionals, have to plan, implement, and assess learning. Teachers have also to mentor, train students, and perform additional duties as well. One of many ways that can be taken to accomplish the jobs is implementing team teaching. The objectives of the research were to describe the implementation, the planning, and the advantages and disadvantages of team teaching. The study was also aimed for describing the aspects that must be observed by teachers in implementing team teaching.  The study was descriptive with the unit of analysis of principals/vice principals and teachers of junior high schools, senior high schools, and vocational high schools of Semarang (84 people, randomly sampled). The data were collected through a questionnaire, documentation, and limited in-depth interview. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The study showed that team teaching was implemented in various forms: traditional, collaborative, mentoring, parallel instruction, splitting class, monitoring, team members, sub-team difference, and individual plans. The benefits perceived by teachers were that team teaching compensated learning materials, compensated each others’ weakness, tackled a broad and complex learning, enhanced cooperation, and gave opportunities to young teachers to work with the senior ones. The important aspect that must be considered was the feeling of mutual trust, ability to communicate effectively, give and take, being open, learning mastery guarantee, the dominance of an individual team member, collaborative ideas, less focused material, egoistic feeling, and lack of self confidence.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pembelajaran Sosiologi di SMA selama ini masih mengunakan metode yang monoton dalam kelas sehingga siswa kesulitan memahami dan mencerna materi karena sebatas penjelasan dan gambaran dari guru,  model pembelajaran jelajah alam sekitar lebih berdekatan dengan alam dan memahami masalah sosial secara langsung dan diharapkan memberikan wawasan pengetahuan yang berupa fakta - fakta konsep tapi juga menjadi wacana siswa untuk mempelajari budaya masyarakat setempat dan pola pembelajarannya meberikan pengalaman langsung untuk mengembangkan keterampilan memecahkan masalah sosial yang ada dalam masyarakat. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalahResearch and Development (R&D). Tahapan penelitian yang digunakan meliputi (1) tahap pendahuluan, (2) tahap pengembangan, (3) tahap validasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Negeri 1 Mranggen, Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, angket dan tes. Data yang diperoleh dikumpulkan dan dianalisis dengan tehnik diskriptif,  kualitatif, dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengembangan model jelajah alam sekitar belum digunakan pada peneliti sebelumnya dalam mata pelajaran IPS. Hasil produk penelitian berupa sintak jelajah alam sekitar, RPP jelajah alam sekitar dan video pembelajaran jelajah alam sekitar yang memenuhi standar kelayakan dan uji efektifitas karena telah memenuhi kriteria : (1) penilaian validator materi, (2) hasil uji coba pada peserta didik tuntas secara klasikal dan (3) tanggapan peserta didik baik. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian ini adalah pengembangan model pembelajaran sosiologi berbasis jelajah alam sekitar yang memenuhi kriteria valid dan efektif digunakan untuk memecahkan masalah - masalah sosial siswa SMA.

Abstract

This study is aiming at (1) describing and analyzing the current implementation of academic supervision (factual model),  (2) generating and analyzing academic supervision model as needed (hypothetical model), and (3) identifying and analyzing the effectiveness of a holistic model of academic supervision (the final model). The method employed in this research was the Research and Development (R&D) method, which was divided into three phases: a preliminary study, stage of development and evaluation stages. The data sources were the school superintendents, teachers, as well as students. Further, the data were collected by conducting interviews, questionnaires, and observations. Results showed that the current implementation of academic supervision was considered less effective. The academic supervision which is considered as appropriate for cultural art teachers is a holistic academic supervision. It involves school superintendents and cultural art teachers who are supervised, starting from the planning stage up to the follow-up stage, so that, a good relationship between them will be established. It is concluded in this study that a holistic academic supervision model is effective to enhance the professional competence of cultural art teachers.

Abstract

This study was aimed at describing the portraits of the factual management model of character reinforcement applied nowadays, developing the hypothetical management model of character reinforcement in Padepokan Karakter or a character hermitage. This research was conducted under research and development approaches. The subjects of this research were the informants (students, lecturers, teachers, school principals), documents, and events. The data were collected through interviews, observations, documentations, considerations of specialists and practitioners, focused group discussions, and questionnaires. The results indicated that the factual model of character reinforcement was done by integrating characters on subjects described in the functions of planning, implementation, and evaluation. The development of management models of character reinforcement recommended in this research was managed through the function of planning, organizing, implementing and controlling the characters in the character hermitage. The device of character reinforcement available in the character hermitage was effective and influential to reinforce the students ‘ character.

Abstract

Pentingnya penanaman nilai karakter kepada remaja sebagai pegangan untuk berperilaku mengembangkan ideologi dirinya di masa depan. Tanggungjawab merupakan sikap dan perilaku yang penting dalam kehidupan karena dengan adanya tanggungjawab seseorang akan berhati-hati dalam melakukan suatu perbuatan, sehingga perbuatan yang dilakukannya akan bernilai positif baik bagi dirinya maupun bagi orang lain. Kepramukaan dapat dijadikan sebagai wadah penanaman nilai karakter bangsa. Sikap dan perbuatan tanggungjawab dalam kepramukaan tercantum jelas dalam Dasa Darma pramuka ke sembilan yaitu pramuka itu bertanggungjawab dan dapat dipercaya. Objek penelitian ini adalah siswa anggota pramuka dan pembina pramuka di SMP Negeri 13 Semarang, serta metode penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  macam-macam tanggungjawab yang ditanamkan melalui kepramukaan di SMP Negeri 13 Semarang adalah tanggungjawab terhadap diri sendiri, tanggungjawab terhadap orang lain, tanggungjawab terhadap alam dan tanggungjawab terhadap Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. Metode yang digunakan untuk menanamkan tanggungjawab adalah dengan metode penjernihan nilai (pemberian nasihat, pemberian hukuman dan pemberian penghargaan/reward), metode keteladanan (keteladanan pembina), metode siswa aktif (pemberian tugas dan pencapaian SKU dan SKK). Faktor pendukungnya adalah sikap, pengetahuan dan pengalaman yang dimiliki oleh pembina, kesadaran dan motivasi diri siswa dalam mengikuti ekstrakurikuler pramuka, dana, sarana dan prasarana yang menunjang kegiatan, dukungan dari orangtua siswa dan dukungan dari masyarakat sekitar. Faktor penghambat adalah kurangnya minat siswa dalam kegiatan pramuka, pengaruh dari teman yang mengajak siswa untuk membolos serta faktor cuaca. The importance of planting character value to adolescents as a handle to behave himself ideology developed in the future . Responsibility is the attitudes and behaviors that are important in life because of the presence of one's responsibilities will be careful in doing an act , the act of doing so will be positive both for themselves and for others . Scouting can be used as a container planting value of the nation's character . Attitudes and actions in the scouting responsibilities clearly stated in the Ten Dharma scout to scout the nine are responsible and trustworthy . Object of this study is the student member of the scout and scout leader in SMP Negeri 13 Semarang , as well as methods of research used qualitative methods . The results showed that the various responsibilities of the instilled through scouting in SMP Negeri 13 Semarang is the responsibility of self , responsibility for others , responsibility for nature and responsibility to God Almighty . The method used to instill responsibility is with the purification method value ( giving advice , and awarding punishment / reward ) , an exemplary method ( exemplary builder ) , method of active students ( giving tasks and achievements SKU and SKK ) . Supporting factor is the attitude , knowledge and experience possessed by the builder , self- awareness and motivation of students in participating in extracurricular scout , funds , facilities and infrastructure that support the activities , the support of parents and the support of the surrounding community . Inhibiting factor is the lack of student interest in the scouts , the influence of friends who invite students to play truant and weather factors

Abstract

Class IIB Penitentiary Pati has played an important role in providing moral guidance to prisoners through scouts education. This study is to examine the implementation and the barriers of the moral education through education scouts in Class IIB Pati Penitentiary. This study uses qualitative research methods. The results of the research shows that the development of morality through education has been running well partly because it uses among system, in which the supervisor set an example / role model to members of the scout. scoutmaster also get advanced course basis (KMD) as a guide to teach members of the scout class IIB Pati penitentiary. The inhibiting factor in the development of morality through education in a correctional institution Scout class IIB Pati, includes the diverse background of scouts training among the trainers, the lack of facilities in the clothing, and the lack of cooperation of the outside parties. Efforts to overcome barriers to the development of morality through the use of among system.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mendeskripsi model pemantauan SNP selama ini, (2) menghasilkan model pemantauan SNP yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengawas sekolah saat ini dan (3) untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pemantauan SNP berbasis TIK. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan R&D meliputi tahap pendahuluan, pengembangan dan pengujian. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah pengawas sekolah dan kepala sekolah, Instrumen dan teknik pengumpulan data adalah wawancara, kuesioner dan observasi dokumen. Teknik analisis data dengan model interaktif, analisis kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian 1) tahap pendahuluan berupa model faktual pemantauan SNP, 2) tahap pengembangan berupa model hipotetik yaitu model konseptual yang telah divalidasi oleh ahli dan praktisi, dan 3) model final pada tahap pengujian berupa model pemantauan pelaksanaan SNP berbasis TIK. Hasil uji coba model terhadap pengawas sekolah dan kepala sekolah menunjukkan bahwa model pemantauan pelaksanaan SNP berbasis TIK sangat efektif.  Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah model pemantauan pelaksanaan SNP berbasis TIK sangat efektif untuk digunakan pengawas sekolah.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to (1) describe the current condition of implementation of inclusive education in primary schools, (2) to develop a model of inclusive education management, and (3) to examine the effectiveness of the management model of inclusive education in primary schools. Method of Research and Development (R & D) was used in this study, with the following stages: (1) a preliminary study to see the existing implementation of inclusive education in elementary schools through literature review and field study, (2) developing a model of inclusive education management, and (3) examining  the effectiveness of inclusive education management model. This research was conducted in 51 inclusive schools located in four districts namely; Surakarta, Boyolali, Sukoharjo, and Karanganyar. The subject of this research consisted of principals, class teachers, students with special needs education (SNE), students without SNE, and school committee. The results of the preliminary study concluded (1) the use of existing performance indicators principals and teachers, the implementation of inclusive education in primary schools did not meet the expected criteria, (2) one of the most widely perceived obstacle is the unavailability of standardized management of inclusive schools, (3) response of the school committee, students with SNE, and students without SNE to inclusive education category is quite positive, (4) the inclusive schools did not run functions and aspects of school management adequately, (5) the schools urgently needed guide management of inclusive education. The final product of the development of inclusive education management model requires that inclusive schools run the four functions of management; planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling, by combining the nine aspects of school management in terms of institutional management, curriculum, teaching process, evaluation, student, facilities, human resources, public participation and financing. To run the management model of inclusive education effectively, guide book on inclusive education management should be provided. The result of the evaluation by principals and teachers indicated that inclusive education management model was very effective. From the result, it is recommended that the guide book be disseminated for use as a guideline in the management of inclusive education in elementary schools in Indonesia.
