Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan budaya organisasi terhadap komitmen guru dalam melaksanakan tugas. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada sekolah menengah atas negeri (SMAN) di Kota Sekayu, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian yaitu 115 guru di lima SMA Negeri di Kota Sekayu yang dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran angket. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kuantitatif  dengan menggunakan  program SPSS 25 for windows yang dilakukan dalam tiga tahap, yaitu analisis deskriptif, analisis asosiatif, dan analisis koefisien determinan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap komitmen guru dengan nilai koefisien sebesar0,438, budaya organisasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap komitmen guru dengan nilai koefisien sebesar0,506, dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan budaya organisasi secara bersama-sama (simultan) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap komitmen guru dalam melaksanakan tugas dengan nilai koefisien sebesar0,584. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan mampu mendorong peningkatan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan pengembangan budaya organisasi guna mengoptimalkan komitmen guru dalam melaksanakan tugas.

Abstract

The role of statistics is wide and crucial in daily life, making statistics important. Many students have difficulty understanding statistics. This study aims to determine students' statistical reasoning about inference statistics, which is limited to the subject matter of the testing hypotheses about two-sample hypotheses testing. This study used descriptive research method. The subjects were 25 students of third-year Mathematics Education Departement at Universitas PGRI Palembang in the academic year 2018/2019. Data were collected through tests and interviews. Data were analyzed through descriptive quantitative. The results of data analysis showed that 32% of students had level 1 statistical reasoning (the lowest level), 20% were at level 2, 28% at level 3, 12% at level 4 and 8% at level 5 (highest level). Based on the result, it can conclude that students' statistical reasoning ability in learning statistical method is not satisfactory, students are still very lacking in reasoning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa media video pembelajaran dengan pendekatan multi representasi pada materi nilai mutlak yang valid dan praktis untuk peserta didik kelas X SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X sebanyak 6 orang peserta didik pada uji coba kelompok kecil, dan satu kelas pada uji coba kelompok besar di SMA Patra Mandiri 01 Palembang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, lembar validasi ahli, angket respon peserta didik, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa video pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat valid dengan skor rata-rata 89.6. Kepraktisan video pembelajaran diperoleh dari hasil angket respon peserta didik pada saat uji coba kelompok besar yang melibatkan 20 orang peserta didik kelas X MIPA 2 SMA Patra Mandiri Palembang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data angket respon, video pembelajaran dinyatakan sangat praktis. Video pembelajaran dengan pendekatan multi representasi pada materi nilai mutlak yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the  enhancement of mathematical communication ability of prospective teachers’ through Reflective Learning. This research used a quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent pre-test and post-test control-group design. The subjects of this study were students of Mathematics Education Program at a private university in Palembang, consisting of 64 students. Based on instructional factors, there were two groups of samples used in this study:  experimental and control groups. The experimental group was given Reflective Learning (RL), while the control group was given Conventional Learning (CL). Based on the result of prior mathematical knowledge test, there were three categories, namely: higher, mediocre, and lower. Data collection instruments consist of prior mathematical knowledge test and mathematical communication ability test. Data analysis that was used were t-test and  two-way ANOVA. Based on data analysis, the result obtained from this study are: 1) the  enhancement of students’ mathematical communication ability who received RL are better than those of students who received CL;  2) there is no significant interaction effect between instructional factors (RL and CL) and prior mathematical knowledge (higher, mediocre, lower) toward the students’  enhancement mathematical communication ability. Keywords: Reflective Learning, mathematical communication ability.

Abstract

The development research aims to produce an Indonesian realistic mathematics education-based digital module on the Material of lowest common multiple (LCM) and greatest common factor (GCF) for Grade IV Elementary School (SD) which is valid, practical, and effective. In this research, the method used is research and development. The subjects in this study is students of class VI SD 247 Palembang, 25 student. The digital module developed using the ADDIE model; (1) Analysis (2) Design (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. Data collection techniques is carried out with validation questionnaire sheet, response questionnaire sheets from students, and learning outcomes test. The results of data analysis is obtained that the first, digital module developed is very valid category based on the validation questionnaire from media expert, material expert, and linguists with an average validity value of 91.09%. The second, a digital module developed with a very practical category based on student’s response questionnaire with an average practicality value of 98.3%. The third, the digital module developed is very effective category based on the test result toward students by an average value of 84%. Based on the result of validation, practicality, and effectiveness, and test results, it can be concluded that the development of PMRI-based digital module on the LCM and GCF material for grade IV of elementary school can be used in mathematics learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa calon guru melalui Pembelajaran Reflektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi-eksperimen dengan desain kelompok kontrol pretes dan postes nonekuivalen. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan pendidikan matematika pada salah satu Perguruan Tinggi Swasta di Palembang sebanyak 64 orang. Berdasarkan faktor pembelajaran, subyek penelitian dibedakan atas dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen yang mendapatkan pembelajaran reflektif (PR) dan kelas kontrol yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional (PK). Berdasarkan faktor Kemampuan Awal Mahasiswa (KAM), subyek penelitian dibedakan atas tiga kelompok yaitu tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah tes Kemampuan Awal Matematis (KAM) dan tes Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis (KPMM). Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji-t,dan uji ANAVA dua jalur. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data tersebut, hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1)  peningkatan KPMM mahasiswa calon guru yang mendapatkan PR lebih baik daripada mahasiswa calon guru yang mendapatkan PK ditinjau dari keseluruhan dan KAM; 2) tidak terdapat pengaruh interaksi  penerapan pembelajaran (PR dan PK) dan KAM (tinggi, sedang, rendah) terhadap peningkatan KPMM.  KataKunci: Pembelajaran Reflektif, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the improvement of mathematical communication of students of SMA Negeri 1 Lawang Kidul through Reflective Learning. The method of this research is quasi-experiment with pretest and postes group design. Population in this research that is all class X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Lawang Kidul, taken sample of two classes that class X MIA A many as 25 students as experiment class that get reflective learning (PR) and class X MIA C as much 27 students as control class get conventional learning (PK). The instrument used in this study is a Mathematical Communication Skills (KKM) test in the form of essays that have been empirically validated. Data analysis using t test (Independent samples t test), by first test the normality and homogeneity. Based on the analysis of the data, the results obtained in this study that the improvement of mathematical communication skills of students of SMA Negeri 1 Lawang Kidul who get reflective learning better than those who get conventional learning. Keywords: Reflective Learning, Mathematical Communication Skill

Abstract

SSCS learning model in which this learning model involves students, so that students can be more active and think critically to solve, search for, infer results and expand knowledge in finding and solve problems in the problem. This study aims to determine the effect of Search Solve Create And Share (SSCS) Learning of the mathematical problem-solving ability of students of SMP Negeri 28 Palembang. This research method used is a quasi-experimental design with a posttest only control group design. The population in this study were all class VIII at SMPN 28 Palembang. Where the sample in this study was taken only two classes, class VIII 4 with 32 students for the experimental class and given treatment in the form of a Search Solve Create And Share (SSCS) model, while class VIII 3 as many as 32 students as a control class and given conventional learning treatment. This research instrument consisted of tests of mathematical problem-solving abilities in the form of essay questions. Data were analyzed using a t-test (independent sample t-test) Shows that a significant value (2-tailed) is obtained = 0.017. based on the criteria that sig = 0.017 ≤ 0.025 then H0 is rejected. Thus it can be concluded that there was an effect of Search Solve Create And Share (SSCS) learning on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students of SMPN 28 Palembang.

Abstract

This research aimed at describing the competencies of the Principal in State Secondary school in Banyuasin Regency, it can be mapped the right program given to optimize it. This study was mixed method. The results obtained the competencies of principals in State Secondary schools Banyuasin Regency have moderate managerial competency; entrepreneurship competencies are mostly included in the medium criteria; Supervision competencies in the medium category. Overall, most of the principals have good competency.
