Abstract

This research aimed to know the increasing of student’s mathematical creative thinking skill and self-efficacy who taught by the problem based learning. The population of this research was all students of grade 8th of SMPN 22 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2013/2014 that were consist of nine classes, then obtained two classes as sample that was taken by purposive sampling technique. Based on data analysis, it was concluded that the problem based learning could increase the student’s mathematical creative thinking skill, but not increase the student’s self-efficacy.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dan self-efficacy siswa melalui pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 22 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang terdiri dari 9 kelas, kemudian diambil 2 kelas sebagai sampel melalui teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan kemampuan  berpikir kreatif matematis siswa, namun tidak dapat meningkatkan self-efficacy siswa.Kata kunci: kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis, pembelajaran berbasis masalah, self-efficacy

Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to find out the influence of cooperative learning model of CORE towards students mathematical communication skill. The population of this research was all students of grade 7th of SMP N 9 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2015-2016 as much as 261 students that were distributed into seven classes. This research used pretest-posttest control group design. The samples of this research were students of VII-A and VII-B class that were chosen by purposive random sampling. Based on the result and discussion, it was concluded that the cooperative learning model of CORE influences the students mathematical communication skill.Penelitian eksperimental semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CORE terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP N 9 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 yang terdistribusi dalam tujuh kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pretest posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-A dan VII-B sebanyak 261 siswa yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive random sampling. Abstract

This experimental aimed to find out the influence of problem posing towards the students' mathematical creative thinking ability. The population of this research was all grade eight students of Junior High School state of 1 Lumbok Seminung in academic year of 2017/2018 as much as 80 students which were distributed into three classes. The sampling was done by purposive sampling technique and it was chosen students of VIII A and VIII B as samples.  The design of this research was pretest-posttest control group design. The research data were obtained by the test of mathematical creative thinking ability. The data analysis of this research used Mann-Whitney U test. The result of this research show that enhancement of mathematical creative thinking ability of student who follow learning with problem posing model higher than mathematical creative thinking ability of student who follow learning with convensional model. Based on the result, it was concluded that problem posing influenced students’ mathematical creative thinking ability.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran problem posing terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa.  Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII semester genap SMP Negeri 1 Lumbok Seminung tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 sebanyak 80 siswa dan terdistribusi dalam tiga kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling dan terpilih siswa pada kelas VIII A dan VIII B sebagai sampel. Desain yang digunakan adalah pretest posttest control group design.  Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa.  Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan uji Mann-Withney U. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model problem posing lebih tinggi daripada pembelajaran konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran problem posing berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa. Kata kunci: berpikir kreatif matematis, pengaruh, problem posing

Abstract

The students’ understanding of Mathematic concept in class VII.2 in the first semester of SMPN 1 Gadingrejo in the year 2012/2013  was relatively low.The students activities in the teaching learning process were also less active. The teaching modesl wich were used were conventional learning models so, the learning process were seemed monotonous. This research is a classroom action research which was conducted to increase the students’ learning activities and in understanding Mathematic concept through TGT Typed Cooperative Learning Model in the first semester of Class VII.2 of SMPN 1 Gadingrejo 2012/2013. The results of the research showed that there is a positive improvement of the students’ learning activities and understanding Mathematic concepts trough the implementation of  TGT Typed Cooperative Learning Model in the first semester of Class VII.2 of SMPN 1 Gadingrejo 2012/2013.  From data analytic could be gotten that the average percentage of students’ learning activities increased significantly 87,5%, the progress of students in understanding Mathematic concept increased into 69,351 %, and 68,75 % for students Mastery Learning. It could be concluded that the implementation of TGT Typed Cooperative Learning Model in the first semester of Class VII.2 of SMP N.1 Gadingrejo 2012-2013  was able to increase students’ learning activities and in understanding Mathematic concept. Abstract

The population of this research was grade 9th students of junior high school state of 2 of Adiluwih in academic year of 2014/2015. The samples of this research were students of IXD and IXB class that were determined by purposive sampling technique. The design of this research was post-test only control design. Based on the result of data analysis, it was concluded that the cooperative learning model of NHT type was effective viewed by students mathematical communication ability.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX SMPN 2 Adiluwih tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IXD dan IXB yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian ini adalah post-test only control design. Abstract

This was a quasi-experimental research that aimed to know the influence of cooperative learning model of TPS type towards student’s mathematical communication skills of SMP. This research used a posttest only control design with the population was  grade seven students of Junior High School state Muhammadiyah 3 of Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2012/2013, which distributed into four classes unseeded. The samples were taken by purposive sampling technique. The analysis of the data used two similarity test average. Based on the results of hypothesis test, it was concluded that generally, the mathematical communication skills of students who taught by cooperative learning model of TPS type better than mathematical communication skills of students who taught by conventional  learning.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa SMP. Desain penelitian ini adalah post-test only control design dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2012/2013, yang terdistribusi dalam empat kelas yang bukan unggulan. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji kesamaan dua rata-rata.  Berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa secara umum kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS lebih baik daripada kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diajar dengan pembelajaran  konvensional.Kata kunci: kemampuan komunikasi matematis, model pembelajaran kooperatif, think pair share

Abstract

This quasi experimental research aimed to know the influence of cooperative learning model of group investigation type towards students' mathematical communication skills. The research design was posttest only control group  design. The population of this research was eighth grade students of  junior high school 2 Pringsewu, while the sample of research were students of VIIIB and VIIIC class, which obtained by selecting two of nine classes using purposive sampling that were taught by the same teacher of mathematics and have equal average ability relatively. Based on the hypothesis test, it was gotten that the average of student’s mathematical communication skill of  group investigation learning model was higher than conventional learning. The conclusion of this research was the group investigation learning model influences student’s mathematical communication skills. Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah posttest only control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Pringsewu, sedangkan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIIB dan VIIIC yang diperoleh dengan cara memilih dua dari sembilan kelas secara purposive sampling yaitu dengan mengambil kelas yang diajar oleh guru matematika yang sama dan memiliki kemampuan rata-rata yang relatif sama. Berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis diperoleh bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dengan model Group Investigation lebih tinggi dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran  Group Investigation berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: Group Investigation, komunikasi matematis, model pembelajaran kooperatif

Abstract

This research aimed to know the effectiveness of problem based learning model in improving students mathematical communication skill. The sample of this research was determined by purposive random sampling technique and it was selected students of VIII.1 class as sample. This research used one group pretest posttest design. Based on the analysis of data, it was concluded that problem based learning model was not effective to improve students mathematical communication skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pringsewu semester genap tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang terdistribusi dalam enam kelas. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik purposive random sampling dan terpilih siswa kelas VIII.1 sebagai sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan one group pretest posttest design. Abstract

This quasi experimental research purposed to know the effectiveness of cooperative learning model of Group Investigation type viewed by mathematics learning result of students of grade XI IPS SMAN 8 Bandar Lampung even semester in academic year 2012/2013. This research design was posttest only control design. The population of this research were all students of grade XI IPS SMAN 8 Bandar Lampung even semester in academic year2012/2013 which distributed into five classes. Samples of this research were all students of XI IPS 3 as experiment class and students of XI IPS 4 as control class. Samples were chosen by purposive random sampling. The data of this research was students mathematics learning result. The research concluded that the application of cooperative learning model of Group Investigation type was effective to increase the result of students mathematics learning.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation ditinjau dari hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung semester genap tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Desain penelitian ini adalah posttest only control design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung semester genap tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 yang terdistribusi dalam lima kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas XI IPS 4 sebagai kelas kontrol. Sampel dipilih melalui teknik purposive random sampling. Data penelitian ini adalah data hasil belajar matematika siswa. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa.Kata kunci: efektivitas, group investigation, hasil belajar
