Abstract

This study was basically aimed at meeting the needs of physical Education teachers in conducting the assessment process of the psychomotor aspects, thus this research focused on testing the validity of a basic movement skill test instrument in ball games specifically for students aged 13-15 years. Quantitative descriptive method was used in this study and carried out on 25 junior high school students grade VII in Cimahi city. The instrument developed was the basic movement skill test instrument of the ball game consisting of skill for passing, service up, service down, chest passing, bounding passing (boundpass), overhead passing, overhead dribbling, inner leg passing, outer foot passing, dorsal passing, and dribbling. The validity method used was related validity criteria by using composite scores. The trial results obtained from students were analysed by using the Pearson product moment technique. The results of the validity analysis showed that the value of the validity coefficient criteria was ranging from rxy = 0.84 to 0.96 for the basic movement skill instrument of volleyball, rxy = 0.95 to 0.97 for the basic movement skill of the soccer game, and rxy = 0, 93 – 0.97 for the basic movement skill instrument of basketball games. Therefore, the study concludes that the basic movement skill instrument of ball games can be used to assess the ability of basic movement skills of junior high school students. AbstrakPenelitian ini pada dasarnya bertujuan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan guru PJOK dalam melakukan proses penilaian pada aspek psikomotor maka dari itu penelitian ini berfokus pada pengujian validitas sebuah instrument tes keterampilan gerak dasar pada permainan bola besar khusus untuk siswa dengan rentang usia 13-15 tahun. Metode deskriprif kuantitatif yang digunakan pada penelitian ini dan dilakukan pada siswa sekolah menengah pertama kelas VII di kota cimahi sebanyak 25 orang. Instrument yang dikembangkan yaitu instrument tes keterampilan gerak dasar permainan bola besar  terdiri dari keterampilan gerak passing atas, passing bawah, service atas, service bawah, passing dada, passing pantul, passing atas kepala, menggiring bola, passing kaki bagian dalam, passing kaki bagian luar, passing bagian punggung kaki, dan menggiring bola. Adapun tahapan yang dilakukan yaitu dengan menguji validitas dengan analisis person Product Moment menggunakan composite score dan menguji reliabilitas dengan menggunakan uji tes tes retest. Skor hasil uji coba yang diperoleh dari siswa dikorelasikan dengan menggunakan teknik pearson product moment. Hasil analisis validitas diperoleh nilai koefisien validitas kriteria terentang antara rxy = 0,84 – 0,96 untuk instrument keterampilan gerak dasar permainan bola voli, rxy = 0,95 – 0,97 untuk instrument keterampilan gerak dasar permainan sepak bola dan rxy = 0,93 – 0,97 untuk instrument keterampilan gerak dasar permainan bola basket. Maka dari itu kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu instrument keterampilan gerak dasar permainan bola dapat dipergunakan untuk menilai kemampuan keterampilan gerak dasar siswa sekolah menengah pertama.

Abstract

One of the main components of badminton games is shuttlecock. The shuttlecock home industries in Indonesia mainly employ for about 20-40 freelance workers. The workers in the home industries are able to produce 500-100 slops of shuttlecock daily. The guarantee of the shuttlecock quality produced by home industries, either through the laboratory tests or field tests, is rarely conducted formally. Therefore, we are interested in conducting an academic study on the velocity of the shuttlecocks produced by the workers of the shuttlecock home industries that have been distributed in Indonesia markets. There are eight widely distributed shuttlecock brands produced by the home industries in Indonesia, including Taiso, Saporate, Netra, Arjuna, Kuda Mas, Rivals, Purnama, and Spin. The purpose of this study was to examine the quality of aerodynamics rate of the shuttlecock produced by home industries by comparing the rate of motion of the shuttlecock in different distances started from the initial velocity to the final velocity when the shuttlecocks impact to the ground. The method used in this study was a descriptive qualitative study. The instruments used were three high resolution handy cams, a set of calibration, and the 3D motion analysis system software (Frame Diaz IV). The result of this study showed that the average velocity of the shuttlecock, started from the initial velocity to the final velocity with 5 meter distance, reached 85.0 m/s., while the average final velocity reached 29.8m/s at 5 meter distance. From all of the shuttlecock types tested in the field test for their velocity, it was found that the Spin brand moved with a high velocity with 12.8% of percentage. Meanwhile, the lowest velocity of the shuttlecock was found in the Taiso brand where the percentage was 15.3% in 9 meter and12 meter distances. The study concludes that the average of various shuttlecock brands’ speeds are in the normal category except for the Taiso and Spin brands.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between VO2 Max pedalling positions, including sitting position and standing position toward speed. The samples in this study was ten junior athletes in DKI Jakarta. The research method used descriptive method. The instrument used to measure VO2 Max in this study was ergo cycle, while to track the speed, cyclo was used. Data analysis used SPSS version 20. The results of analysis and calculation of data displayed that VO2 max and the position of pedalling have a significant relationship with speed. Moreover, the position of standing pedalling is faster than the position of sitting pedalling. The results of this study are expected to give beneficial contributions in terms of training programs.AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui korelasi antara VO2 Max pedaling posisi duduk dan berdiri terhadap kecepatan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sepuluh atlet junior DKI Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan ergocycle untuk mengukur VO2 Max dan untuk mengukur kecepatan menggunakan cyclo. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS versi 20. Hasil analisis dan perhitungan data mengungkapkan bahwa VO2 max dan posisi pedaling memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap kecepatan bersepeda, kemudian posisi pedalling berdiri lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan posisi pedaling duduk. Serta implikasi yang diharapkan dapat membantu dari segi program latihan.

Abstract

Perencanaan dalam pendidikan jasmani adalah kompetensi penting bagi guru pra-jabatan yang sedang berkembang di seluruh program universitas. Dapat diketahui bahwa umpan balik membantu guru untuk menyadari tindakan mereka dalam mengajar. Efektivitas dalam kelas pendidikan jasmani lebih baik dapat dicapai dengan peningkatan penggunaan waktu dan orientasi intruksi yang benar oleh guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh umpan balik melalui aplikasi android dengan media pembelajaran video kinematic dan video slow motion, dan untuk mengetahui adakah hubungan tingkat kecerdasan dengan penguasaan teknik dasar bola basket. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling pada siswa SMP Nasional Bandung sebanyak 72 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan atas pemberian umpan balik yang diberikan dengan masing-masing kelompok melalui media pembelajaran video kinematic sebesar 35% dan video slow motion sebesar 31%. Hasil penelitian dari korelasi antara tingkat kecerdasan dengan keterampilan siswa dengan hasil 0,154 yang dimana nilai sig.0,05 diperoleh informasi bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan.Planning in physical education is an important competency for pre-service teachers who are developing throughout the university program. It can be seen that feedback helps teachers realize their actions in teaching. Effectiveness in physical education classes can be better achieved by increasing the use of time and correct instructional orientation by teachers. This study aims to determine the effect of feedback through the android application with kinematic video learning media and slow-motion video and to determine whether there is a relationship between the level of intelligence with the mastery of basic basketball techniques. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique for 72 Bandung National Junior High School students. Based on the results of data analysis shows that there is a significant influence on giving feedback given by each group through the learning media kinematic video by 35% and slow-motion video by 31%. The results of the study of the correlation between the level of intelligence with student skills with a result of 0.154 where the value of sig. 0.05 obtained information that there is no relationship.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kelelahan kardiovaskular terhadap perubahan kinematika gerak pada tubuh bagian atas saat pukulan overhead jumping smash dalam permainan bulutangkis. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan pre test and post test design. Sampel yang digunakan adalah pemain bulutangkis putra yang mempunyai keterampilan teknik overhead jumping smash dengan rata-rata usianya 19.4 ± 1.6 tahun, tinggi badan 1.73 ± 0.12m dan berat badan 60.8 ± 3.7kg dengan jumlah keseluruhan 12 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu buah 3D force platform device, 3 buah Panasonic handycam, Frame DIAZ IV 3D motion software analysis, cosmed direct gas analyzer dan radar speed gun. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pada fase maximum angular velocity terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada empat variabel saat kondisi fatigue dan non fatigue antara lain shoulder internal rotation (P=0.042), elbow extension (P=0.035), forearm supination (P=0.024) dan wrist dorsi flexion (P=0.040). Selanjutnya pada fase instant of maximal shoulder external rotation terdapat tiga variabel perbedaan yang signifikan antara lain shuttlecock velocity (P=0.035), shoulder external rotation (P=0.048), dan wrist palmar flexion (P=0.037). Kesimpulan bahwa internal shoulder rotation, wrist palmar flexion dan forearm supination memberikan kontribusi yang sangat signfikan terhadap kecepatan shuttlecock pada saat melakukan overhead jumping smash dalam permainan bulutangkis.

Abstract

Landasan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara kerja model latihan ball throwing digital dengan visual light system dalam olahraga sepak bola. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah “one grups pretest post test design”. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah terciptanya alat ball throwing digital dengan visual light system pada olahraga sepak bola. Permainan sepak bola biasa dimainkan di luar ruangan dan prototype ini dirancang untuk mekanisme pelemparan bola yang dapat digunakan untuk melatih penjaga gawang. Dalam proyek ini, alat ball throwing digital dengan visual light system pada sepak bola dibuat untuk meningkatkan reaksi dan antisipasi seorang penjaga gawang. Alat ball throwing digital dengan visual light system ini berfungsi untuk membantu proses latihan dan variasi latihan untuk penjaga gawang dalam olahraga sepak bola. Dilatih secara berulang-ulang sehingga dengan dibantunya alat tersebut diharapkan dapat meningkatkan rekasi, antisipasi, koordinasi dan konsentrasi untuk penjaga gawang.Kata kunci: Ball throwing digital, visual light system, soccer

Abstract

The basic principle of Olympism aims to make sport as a harmonious human development tool to create a peaceful society and to respect human dignity. The purpose of this study was to investigate the Olympism values in the context of a positive development of the youth, as well as the historical journey of basketball development including the competition system which has been running before. The research method used was descriptive method by employing document review and semi-structured interviews as the instruments to obtain data. The results of this study revealed how the basic principles of Olympism are applied as an approach in basketball coaching in the context of the positive development of youth. The responses of parents, builders, and coaches regarding the new approach in the basketball coaching system are explored and discussed deeply.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the joint motion kinetics of the shoulders, elbows, and wrists between experienced player (skilled player) group and unskilled player group when performing overhead standing smash in badminton game. The samples involved were 26 samples. The samples included 13 male badminton players joining Student Activity Unit who had achieved many achievements and had a high skill (skilled), while the other 13 samples were unskilled players, involving students who had just studied under one year. The mean of participants’ age was 19.4 ± 1.6 years, height was 1.73 ± 0.12m, and body weight was 62.8 ± 3.7kg. This study used 3 Panasonic Handycams, a calibration set, 3D Frame DIAZ IV motion analysis software, and a speed radar gun. Normalization of the kinetic motion score of the shoulder, elbow, and wrist joints was calculated using the inverse dynamics method. The t-test was used to determine the significance of motion kinetic difference of the two different groups. The results presented that the shuttlecock speed of the skilled player group, during the overhead standing smash, showed a significant difference. Meanwhile, the joint motion of the inferior shoulder force, shoulder anterior force, shoulder internal rotation torque, shoulder horizontal abduction torque, elbow anterior force, and wrist flexion torque were higher in the skilled players group than the unskilled player group.

Abstract

The development of information systems that is increasingly influential in various aspects of life, one of which is the world of education. One result of the development of information technology that can be utilized in education is mobile learning (M-Learning). The use of M-Learning in volleyball learning at the elementary school level is still rarely developed and used. Though this media can be a means of supporting education can make the learning process active, creative and innovative. M-Learning can enhance learning activities so that it can foster enthusiasm and student motivation. This can help improve students' understanding and volleyball skills which include volleyball, service, passing, and set-up techniques. The research method used is a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The results showed that M-Learning can improve student understanding and student skills in volleyball learning. M-Learning can improve learning communication between students, both with friends and teachers so that learning creates active and conducive relationships. This has an impact on increasing student motivation. This improvement can improve students' understanding and skills in volleyball learning.
