Abstract

Psychological skills in sports science are not new research. This subject has been widely carried out but there are still many limitations particularly on aspects motivation, self-confidence, anxiety control, mental preparation, the importance of the team, and concentration, especially in Indonesian basketball athletes competing in the Asian Games 18. The aims to know skills a comprehensive psychological Indonesian basketball athlete who will compete in the Asian Games 18. Research used a retrospective causal-comparative design or ex post facto. This study was 24 Indonesian national basketball team athletes. The research used The Psychological Skills Inventory for Sports (PSIS-R-5), which was adopted from Mahoney. Analysis of this study used quantitative descriptive with SPSS version 22 software. The results reveal the psychological skills of Indonesian basketball players get the total number of aspects with a mean score of 139.75 the categorized as high. On the results of the study, there is one aspect that gets a score smaller than the other five aspects. That aspect is mental preparation because it requires more psychological training and development skills for Indonesian basketball athletes, especially in aspects of mental preparation to support Indonesian achievements.

Abstract

Management of infrastructure and facilities is important in physical education, considering that infrastructure is a medium to support the success of learning. This study aims to determine how the management of physical education facilities and infrastructure in State Junior High Schools in North Bengkulu District. This research is a type of qualitative research using a case study research design. Data obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research data were obtained from six sources consisting of the principal, physical education teachers, and facilities and infrastructure staff. This research was conducted at SMPN 02 and 04 North Bengkulu. Data analysis used Miles and Huberman analysis. The results of research on the availability and management of facilities and infrastructure revealed that there were several physical education facilities and infrastructure that were feasible but had their availability. The removal of physical education facilities and infrastructure activities that have not been carried out properly has resulted in many damaged facilities and infrastructure piled up in the warehouse. The inventory process has been carried out well. This can be seen from the process of registering goods or facilities and infrastructure which are recorded alphabetically by the names of items that have been spent, the inventory process is carried out routinely and regularly. The process of maintaining physical education facilities and infrastructure is carried out by teachers and students.

Abstract

Athletes must have high physical activity and optimal vo2max without experiencing fatigue, both for match performance or daily activities. This study aims to determine the level of physical activity and vo2max of Indonesian National Team athletes before and during the covid-19 pandemic. This research method using observational method using cross sectional design and analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques. The sample in this study used purposive sampling of 30 athletes consisting of cricket, football, and volleyball athletes. The research instrument used the Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ) questionnaire to determine physical activity, and the Bleep Test method to measure vo2max. The results showed that the athletes of the Indonesian National Team had physical activity with a high category of 80% and a moderate category of 20%. In the vo2max before covid -19, it showed a superior category of 50%, and at the time of covid-19, vo2max athletes experienced a similar decrease with the good category by 40%. This study concludes that the covid-19 outbreak is the single largest pandemic impacting the world. So that in the high physical activity of athletes, there is a difference in the vo2max of Indonesian national team athletes before and during the covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

In playing basketball, a factor that has been ignored by the students is the effect of the strength of leg muscle and eye-hand coordination in shooting free throws. This research aims to know the contribution of the strength of leg muscle in the ability of free throws, the contribution of eye-hand coordination to the ability of free throws, as well as the contribution of leg muscle and eye-hand coordination in the ability of shooting free throws. This method used was the correlation method with product moment statistics and double correlation. The results of this research are: the contribution of the strength of leg muscle (X1) toward free throws (Y) gained 32,49%; the contribution of eye-hand coordination (X2) toward free throws (Y) was 40,96%; and the contribution of the strength of leg muscle (XI) and eye-hand coordination (X2) reached 51,84%. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that there are the contribution of the strength of leg muscle and eye-hand coordination toward free throws done by the students from 4th semester in Department of Physical Education Health and Recreation in Universitas Bengkulu when playing basketball.

Abstract

Abstract Quality education is highly dependent on the existence of quality teachers, namely teachers who are professional, prosperous, and dignified, so that later the movement experience students get in Physical Education is an important contributor to increasing the participation rate in physical activity and sports which is also an important contributor to student welfare and health. This study aims to determine the National Standards and Guidelines for Physical Education. The method used in this study is to use literature study. The data were collected using bibliographical studies from previous studies, and also a collection of articles from scientific journals. The results of this literature study research indicate that the main goal of physical education is to understand how students perceive students to be taught, increase perceptions to improve physical awareness, guide students to have an active lifestyle. Through the NASPE standards, physical education should help students become active in the learning process. Through physical education it can form children, namely attitudes or values, intelligence, physical, and skills (psychomotor), so that students will be mature and independent, which can later be used in everyday life.

Abstract

The times that show the existence of learning innovations using online devices require learning innovations. The purpose of this research is to develop learning media for human body anatomy based on Lectora Inspire. The method used in research which is research and development (Research & Development). Lectora Inspire is an application that is used to develop instructional media products. In this study, the researchers analyzed that learning human body anatomy based on lectora inspire was still not widely used. Therefore, research on this learning media is quite urgent to do. Researchers provide a different point of view regarding lectora inspire-based learning media. In doing the validation, the researchers tested the material, media and learning validation by experts in their fields. Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques that were expressed in the distribution of scores and a predetermined category rating scale. The sample used involved students who took part in the learning. Based on the results of the evaluation in the field of material received an average score of 4.19 and categorized as good. Evaluation in the media sector has an average score of 4.31 and is categorized as good, and students' responses in the small group average score of 4.26 are categorized as good. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the Lectora Inspire application is very effective in using learning media, especially human anatomy because it is supported by features that can facilitate the learning process

Abstract

Problem-based learning is a method used to solve a problem in learning. This study aimed to determine whether learning badminton service skills by applying a problem-based learning approach can improve badminton service hit skills. The research method uses the classroom action research (CAR) method by interpreting the data and comparing each cycle's results with a percentage approach to measure the achievements of the actions taken. The results obtained from the data taken before the action were 23.68% of students who mastered basic movement skills hitting badminton service. After the first cycle, 34.21% of the students mastered the material, and, at the end of the second cycle, 52.63% of the students mastered the basic movement skills of hitting badminton service. From the preliminary data, there was a significant increase in cycle I and cycle II, the conclusion is that there increased the skill of hitting badminton service through the problem based learning approach (PBL) in students of third-grade of Pagergunung elementary school 1 in 2018/2019. Increased mastery of hitting service skills badminton, which was improved through applying the problem-based approach, was 28.94%.

Abstract

To the physical, sports, and health education, facilities have been one of the factors that support the successful assessment of learning results. with reference to the statement, the conduct of the study aims at identifying the implementation of Physical, Sports, and Health Education facilities management. During the conduct of the study, the subjects that had been selected were the Physical, Sports, and Health Education teachers and the School Principals of State 26 Elementary School and State 89 Elementary School in the City of Bengkulu. Then, the nature that had been adopted for the study was the qualitative research and the data were gathered by means of observation. During the observation, the notes on the condition, the inventory, the maintenance, and the implementation of the facilities management were collected. The results of the study show that the management of Physical, Sports, and Health Education facilities has not been properly implemented. The results have been confirmed by the following findings: (1) the condition of the existing Physical, Sports, and Health Education facilities is not fit for operation anymore; (2) the number of the Physical, Sports, and Health Education facilities is unfit; (3) the inventory for the Physical, Sports, and Health Education facilities is not properly implemented; (4) the awareness for maintaining the Physical, Sports, and Health Education facilities are low; and (5) the removal of the Physical, Sports, and Health Education is not implemented yet.

Abstract

Player-based psychological skills are an important factor that any coach should understand. Unfortunately, up to date there has not been any study that deals with the disclosure of player-based psychological skills especially for basketball athletes. Therefore, through the conduct of the study the researchers would like to identify the psychological skills of basketball athletes based on the playing position namely forward, guard and centre. The nature of the study is a quantitative-descriptive research with the retrospective causal-comparative design or ex-post factor design. Then, during the conduct of the study the researchers selected 24 basketball athletes who consisted of 11 forwards, 9 guards and 4 centres as the sample. In gathering the data, the instrument that had been implemented was the Psychological Skills Inventory for Sports (PSIS R-5). After the data had been gathered, the data were analysed by means of one way-ANOVA with the support from SPSS for the calculation. The results of the study show that there are significant differences on the psychological skills of the basketball athletes based on the playing position. Furthermore, it is also found that the basketball players who occupy the forward position has higher score of psychological skills in comparison to the basketball athletes who occupy the guard position and the centre position.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out differences in influence between internal imagery training and external training imagery on the results of free-throw shooting in extracurricular bola basketball, It used an experimental method. The sample was selected by random sampling technique which comprised three schools, SMPN 1 Bantul, SMPN 3 Bantul, SMPN 3 Jetis with a total of 42 bola basketball extracurricular students. An instrument measured the shooting free throw test to measure the free throw from Arianto B. The data were then analyzed using a two-track analysis of variance (ANOVA) at a significant level of α = 0.05. The results show that there is a significant difference between internal and external imagery training on the results of free-throw extracurricular bola basketball, which is evident from the value sig = 0.010 0.05. External exercises imagery provides a better influence on the results of free shooting extracurricular bola basketball.
