Abstract

The football competition period lasts 6-9 months on an annual training program. Long competitions certainly result in physical and mental fatigue in athletes. In the theory of training periodization, a period of rest after the end of the competition (transition period) gives athletes the opportunity to rest and psychic relaxation while maintaining optimal physical condition. This paper seeks to review the literature relevant to the concepts and practices in the transition period. Discussion covers two main things: the facts that occur during the transition period and exercises that athletes need to do during the transition period. The results of this discussion aim to make athletes and coaches understand the things that occur during the transition period and what exercise practices, such as what athletes need to do to prevent the potential detraining syndrome. So that in the preparation period of the new season, the athlete's performance level is in good condition.

Abstract

Shooting free throw is one of the most important techniques and often influences the final result of a match because this shot is usually a shot given as a reward for an offense. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is an interaction between imagery training and self-efficacy that affects the results of shooting free throw on basketball extracurricular. This study used an experimental method with a 2x2 factorial design. The study population was basketball extracurricular participants in Bantul Regency. The instrument measured the level of efficacy using the self-confidence questionnaire and the results of the free throw shooting using the free throw throw test adopted from Arianto B. Analysis of the data in this study used an analysis of variance (ANAVA) of two paths at a significant level α = 0.05. The results of the study showed that there was no interaction between imagery training and self-efficacy in the results of shooting free throw on basketball extracurricular, seen by the value of sig = 0.835> 0.05

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, there was a change in the learning system from face-to-face to technology-based learning through online media. This study aims to determine the responsiveness of students and teachers in using Google Classroom media during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is a mixed method research (quantitative and qualitative) using questionnaires and interviews as instruments. The subjects of this study were 89 students and 1 physical education teacher. The data analysis technique used is to calculate the percentage value of the final questionnaire score. Based on the results of the study, it was revealed that the use of Google Classroom media in physical education learning achieved a questionnaire score percentage of 93.69%. Meanwhile, the physical education teacher's response shows that the use of Google classroom in physical education learning during the current Covid-19 pandemic is very helpful in the online learning process and has been implemented properly. Even though the research results revealed a good response in using google classroom, this research has limitations, namely the research subject and only examines the use of one media, namely google classroom so that the research reach is limited. The results obtained are expected to be able to make a reference for further research, especially in the use of learning media during the Covid-19 pandemic in physical education learning so that learning outcomes are maximized.

Abstract

The development of shotput media is one way that physical education teachers can maximize learning outcomes. The research aims to reveal the development of the results shotput modification tool and the results of the implementation effectiveness modified tool through the orthodox and Obrien styles. This research uses the development of Borg and Gall and effectiveness test research. The modified tool was assessed by material, and media experts and has been tested with the results to be presented in the sub-subexplanation explanation results and discussion. Furthermore, after the results are obtained regarding the appropriate modification tools that can be used, the effectiveness test of the two forces in the shotput is carried out. The research subjects were 30 seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 17 Sungailangka Gedong Tataan, Pesawaran Regency. Analysis data was used in this study using the Ancova test which was carried out to see the rest difference in repulsion forces. Then perform the N-Gain Test to determine the effective application of two repulsive forces. The results revealed that the modified tool developed in both learning and effectiveness tests revealed that the developed tool had a significance of 0.00 0.05. The average orthodox force n-gain test increased by 0.44 which means that the N-Gain has increased. The results of the O'Brien style N-Gain have an average of 0.19 increase in learning outcomes using tool modifications. Based on the results, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect in the use of tool modifications on the ability to put down and place bullets using Orthodox and O'brien styles.
