Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian adalah melakukan karakterisasi pengajuan pertanyaan mahasiswa calon guru sebagai dasar keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi guru. Dalam menentukan subjek penelitian, peneliti bekerjasama dengan Prodi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Madura dan salah satu Sekolah Menengah Atas di Kabupaten Pamekasan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa pendidikan matematika Universitas Madura yang sedang menempuh mata kuliah Praktek Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL). Subjek tersebut untuk melakukan karakterisasi pertanyaan yang ada dalam proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan. Sesuai dengan jenis penelitian, penelitian kualitatif, instrumen utama dalam penelitian ini adalah pengamatan peneliti, Instrumen pendukung dalam penelitian ini adalah pedoman wawancara, alat perekam, software bantu untuk video dan transkrip data dan lembar observasi. Instrumen pendukung digunakan oleh peneliti sebagai pendukung untuk memperoleh data tentang aktivitas mahasiswa dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran. Instrumen divalidasi berdasarkan validasi konten, konstruksi masalah, bahan dan bahasa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan urutan: klasifikasi data, reduksi data, penyajian data, penafsiran, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Abstract

Ethnomathematics is one thing that is able to connect between culture and mathematics, which means that from a culture, steps are obtained to explore thinking skills that are able to produce various forms of mathematics. The study of ethnomathematics can be used as a learning resource for students to make it easier to learn mathematics. The purpose of ethnomathematics-based learning is to understand the relationship between mathematics and culture that is able to make students' and society's impressions of mathematics more meaningful. This study aims to determine the ethnomathematics in the Ghetak Pamekasan Mask dance movements. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with an ethnographic approach. In qualitative research, the data obtained by the researcher is written in the form of a narrative text to describe and produce a clear and detailed picture. The results of this study obtained a description of the ethnomathematics of the movement of the Ghetak Pamekasan mask dance in the mathematical concept of angular geometry. The mathematical concepts contained in the Ghetak Pamekasan Mask dance movements above can be used to introduce mathematics through local wisdom and abstract mathematical concepts will become concrete if they already know the mathematical concepts in the Ghetak Pamekasan Mask dance movements. Abstract

This study aims to describe the quality of teaching materials developed in the form of ethnomatematic Student Worksheets (LKS) in building understanding of students' initial concepts that are valid, practical and effective. This research is a development research that refers to the simplified Thiagarajan 4-D model into three stages including defining, designing, developing. The product produced is a Student Activity Sheet based on ethnomatematics in building understanding of concepts, lesson plans and Tests of Learning Outcomes so that learning objectives are achieved. The results of the study show that the Student Activity Sheet is ethnomatemically based in developing the initial concept of student understanding that has been developed to meet the criteria of valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

Abstract: Development of an Ethno-Commognitive Based IEAC Learning Model to Improve TPACK of Prospective Mathematics Teachers. Objectives: Ethno-commognitive based IEAC learning model to improve the TPACK abilities of prospective mathematics teacher students. Methods: This type of research is development research. The development carried out in this research is a learning model consisting of a lesson plan, student worksheets, and ethno-commocognitive-based tests to improve the TPACK abilities of prospective teacher students in supporting independent learning. The development procedure used is the ADDIE model. Data analysis in this research is as follows: validation analysis, practicality analysis, and effectiveness analysis. Findings: Development of an ethno-commognitive based IEAC learning model to increase the TPACK of prospective mathematics teacher students to meet the criteria of valid, practical, and effective. Conclusion: Development of an ethno-commognitive based IEAC learning model to improve the TPACK abilities of prospective mathematics teacher students on number pattern material that meets the criteria of valid, practical and effective.Keywords: IEAC learning model, ethno-commognitive, TPACK. Abstrak: Pengembangan Model Pembelajaran IEAC Berbasis Etno-Commognitive untuk Meningkatkan TPACK Mahasiswa Calon Guru. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan model pembelajaran IEAC berbasis etno-commognitive untuk meningkatkan kemampuan TPACK mahasiswa calon guru matematika. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Pengembangan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran yang terdiri dari Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik, dan tes yang berbasis etno-commognitive untuk meningkatkan kemampuan TPACK mahasiswa calon guru. Prosedur pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model ADDIE. Analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut analisis validasi, analisis kepraktisan, dan analisis efektivitas. Temuan: Pengembangan model pembelajaran IEAC berbasis etno-commognitive untuk meningkatkan TPACK mahasiswa calon guru matematika memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif. Abstract

Learning interventions are mostly carried out by teachers in accommodating students' learning needs according to their characteristics because they can help students in improving their thinking. One form of learning intervention carried out by the teacher is through a question submission. Asking is the most common verbal communication behavior used in teaching. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach because it is based on the research objective, finding out the use of questions by novice and experienced teachers in intervening mathematics class interactions. The subjects in the study were two novice teachers and two experienced teachers. The instruments used were observation sheets and interview guides which had been validated by the validator and declared feasible as research instruments. Checking the validity of the data using method triangulation and data source triangulation. The results of the study show that the use of questions by novice teachers and experienced teachers is still limited to uncovering operational knowledge and basic knowledge, not metacognitive knowledge, they are still using questions with the aim of remembering content that has been previously studied and providing calculation results and have not been able to encourage them to think critically, creatively as well as cultivating conceptual understanding and generating ideas and not directing and building student understanding  so that there is a need for training to improve the quality of teachers in mastering techniques for asking questions to students in order to develop and strengthen teachers' pedagogical abilities considering the importance of teachers' pedagogical abilities in implementing the learning process and asking questions in intervening in mathematics class interactions can encourage students to think critically and creatively and foster understanding. concepts and generate ideas and can direct and build their understanding well in order to compete in a global scope.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Collaborative E-learning-Based Learning (KABEL) to remedy student misconceptions for heat in high schools in East Java during merdeka belajar. The study used a pre-experimental design, specifically a one-group pre-test post-test design. The study includes a sample of 290 10th-grade students who were randomly chosen from different high schools in East Java. The data collection instrument consists of 20 multiple-choice questions, each with 3 alternative answers and open-ended reasons. The average percentage of student misconceptions was 94.67% before and 39.33% after remediation. The Mc Nemar test showed a significant improvement in student conceptual understanding after remediation, as evidenced by a chi-square value (X2) of 11.16, which exceeded the critical chi-square value (X2table) of 3.84 for a degree of freedom (df) of 1 and a significance level (α) of 5%. The obtained proportion value of 0.56 shows a moderate effectiveness of the direct instruction model with animation media in addressing student misconceptions.

Abstract

Mathematical logical intelligence greatly influences students' ability to solve mathematical problems, especially the ability to analyze logically in solving mathematical problems. This logical-mathematical intelligence is also closely related and has a positive impact on students' mathematical communication skills, both oral and written mathematical communication abilities. Based on the age development, MA students should be able to use logical thinking skills well. Through material students are tested and required to understand questions in the form of story questions to be able to solve the problem by first forming a mathematical model and then developing a plan to solve the problem. Thus, students indirectly get a stimulus to hone their reasoning and communication skills well. This study aims to analyze the mathematical logical intelligence of MA students with high mathematical communication skills on System of Linear Equations in Three Variable at MA Al-Islamiyah I Sumber Batu, Blumbungan, Larangan, Pamekasan. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The research instruments used were test questions and interview guidelines. The results showed that students who have high mathematical logical intelligence also have good competence for oral and written communication and are able to classify, compare, perform calculations correctly, reason deductively, make conclusions and check back according to the indicators in mathematical logical intelligence.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a 3C-based Osborn learning model to improve critical thinking skills, creativity, and character in students in a boarding school environment. The method used in this research is development research using the stages; 1) problem identification, 2) prototype and 3) assessment. The subjects in this study were MTs Az-Zubair students, especially class VII students. Problem identification is carried out by conducting learning observations conducted by teacher who teaches math subjects. Learning tools in the form of lesson plans (LIP), observation sheets, questionnaire sheets and formative test questions are developed to improve the 3C competence of students. The resulting device can be said to be good if it meets the criteria of valid, practical, and effective. The validity of the device can be tested by expert assessment, the practicality of the product can be tested by applying the model in learning and the effectiveness of the product can be tested by using the students' learning outcomes in answering formative questions. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the device developed is valid, practical, and effective and can improve the critical thinking skills, creativity, and character of students.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pendampingan komunitas belajar mini produktif SDN Kolpajung 2 Pamekasan melalui E-Kombel sebagai upaya mewujudkan ekosistem pendidikan inklusif.  Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SDN Kolpajung 2 Pamekasan dengan fokus pada implementasi komunitas belajar. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan yang digunakan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah refleksi awal, perencanaan, perancangan E-Kombel sebagai inovasi, lokakarya atau pelatihan, implementasi IPTEKS, pendampingan dan evaluasi, serta keberlanjutan program. Dengan kegiatan pendampingan ini, sekolah sangat terbantu dalam pelaksaaan komunitas belajar, baik komunitas belajar internal maupun secara eksternal. E-Kombel sebagai aplikasi berbasis IT yang sangat efektif untuk menambah waktu terbatas di Sekolah dapat dilaksanakan di rumah. E-Kombel menjadikan komunitas lebih keren dan canggih dan dokumen administrasi tersimpan lebih aman daripada secara manual. Ada beberapa saran dan masukan dari peserta pengabdian adalah adanya diharapkan bisa lebih banyak lagi pengaplikasian E-kombel untuk mewujudkan ekosistem Pendidikan Inklusif di sekolah

Abstract

Indirectly, mathematical themes can be found throughout Indonesia's unique culture, one of which is mathematics in batik cultural items. Exploring ethnomathematics will be really beneficial. Apart from acquiring the concept of mathematics in Indonesian culture, it can also sharpen Indonesian culture's sense of love for the nation. The purpose of this study is to describe the philosophical meaning of the geometrical concepts contained in Pamekasan batik, the geometrical concepts contained in Pamekasan batik, and the implementation of Batik pamekasan as the context in learning geometry. This is ethnomathematics study which gather the data by observation and interview. The interview held two regions in Pamekasan with four informants. As a result, scholars aim to conduct an ethnomathematics examination of traditional Pamekasan batik. This research shows that aside from the Batik itself, the mathematical objects found in Batik each have their own meaning and hopes. As a result, mathematical motifs such as the point that depicts a rice or maize seed have philosophical significance. Meanwhile, reflection reveals that human life requires balance. Each mathematical object in the pattern has its own meaning. Meanwhile, geometrical objects in Batik Pamekasan are two-dimensional figures such as circles, rectangles, squares, lines, points, angles, and curves. In addition, transformative geometry like as rotation, reflection, and translation exist in Batik Pamekasan. Besides, batik pamekasan can be used as the context in learning geometry. This can be seen from the learning outcomes that was written in Merdeka curriculum. Moreover, problem-based learning and project-based learning are two models that support ethnomathematics-based learning.
