Abstract

Abstract This article was aimed at describing the changes on the form of Piriang Rantak Tapi dance in Nagari Pitalah Kecamatan Batipuh Kabupaten Tanah Datar. This research applied descriptive methud the data was collected though library study, observation, interview and documentation. The result of the research indicated that Piriang Rantak Tapi dance got changes in 1991. The changes was affected by the social and culture factors. They occurred on the dance form including (a) the structural form of movement, (b) the form of music, (c) custom, (d) properties and (e) time. The second change occure on the place of the show and the third cange was on the events precenting Piriang Rantak Tapi dance, such as in a traditional festival, in a wedding party and some accasions held by the tourism department.   Kata Kunci: Perubahan Bentuk, Tari Piriang Rantak Tapi, Nagari Pitalah.

Abstract

AbstrackThe purpose of this research was to describe the Presentation Form of Reog Ponorogo in Jorong Koto Agung Nagari Sungai Duo Sitiung District, Dharmasraya Regency. This was a qualitative research which used descriptive method. This method could fulfill, reveal and document the ways which were used to obtain data in the field. The object of the research was Reog Ponorogo in Jorong Koto Agung Nagari Sungai Duo Sitiung District, Dharmasraya Regency. The instrument of this research was the researcher assisted by stationery and camera. The data were collected by conducting literature study, observation, interview and documentation. The technique of data analysis was the technique of primary data tabulation that was initiated by the fieldwork process to the stage of identifying data in formal themes which were equipped with secondary data. The result of this research was that the presentation form of Reog Ponorogo was non representative. It was seen through the elements of dance presentation that is motion, dancer, floor pattern, music, costume, makeup, property, time and place of the performance. The presentation form of Reog Ponorogo in Jorong Koto Agung Nagari Sungai Duo has 3 forms of dance including Jathilan, Bujang Ganong and Singo Barong. Keywords: Reog Ponorogo and Jorong Koto Agung Nagari Sungai Duo.

Abstract

Absract This research is aimet to descripbe the estetical study of piriang malunyah dance in sigintir,sungai pagu regency, solok selatan.the research are primary and secondary data. The technigue of data collections are references from the library, observation, interview, and documentation. From the result, it is found thet the shaperg of piriang malunyah dance are in the from, and the arrangenent of its movement it is also found that there is an idea of farmers activity in the society in piriang malunyah dance.   Kata kunci : Estetika, Tari Piriang Malunyah

Abstract

This study aims to reveal and describe the Satai dance presence in Pulau Tengah, Sub-Regency Keliling Danau, Kerinci Regency. The research is a qualitative research by used analysis descriptive method. The object of research is the Satai dance on Pulau Tengah society. Instrument in this study is the researchers themselves. The type of data used are primary data and secondary data. The data collection techniques performed through the study of literature, direct observation and interviews. Data were analyzed using analysis model of Miles and Huberman. Results of the study found that the Satai dance still encountered in society of Pulau Tengah. Pulau Tengah Society have a high attention to the growth and development of the Satai dance, after is not shown in the ritual of starting reinforcements, in the early 2000s the artists of Pulau Tengah raised Satai dance be welcoming guests. In 2014 the Satai dance changes such as the addition of motion, musical instruments, increasing the number of properties (Carano) and dancers. After changing the function of a means of treatment in the ritual of starting reinforcements become a means of entertainment or spectacle, Satai dance still exist and this proved that Satai dance is always performed in a welcoming ceremony important guests who come to the village of Pulau Tengah in certain events, such as in the race village , appointment depati ninik Mamak, library race, religious gatherings, inauguration of the village head and others. Each year Satai dance is always performed, at least 2 times a year. In the years 2011 to 2015 Satai dance has been shown 10 times. Keyword: Keberadaan, Tari, Satai

Abstract

Abstract The article aims at exploring the developing of Iyo-Iyo dance in SD Negeri 15/III Tanjung Pauh Mudik, Keliling Danau, Kerinci. This was a descriptif qualitative study. The technique of data collection used were literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The data analisis was done trough classifying the data based on the concept frame. The result indicated that the effort to attain the development of Iyo-Iyo dance in SD 15/III Kerinci was done throught teaching the dance to the students which are not the offspring of “ depati anum “ who also regards as the Iyo-Iyo dancer in “ kenduri sko “ event. The training of Iyo-Iyo dance was conducted during juli 2-6 2013. The Iyo-Iyo dance taught to the students was only introduced as an ordinary and entertaining dance to audience, not as a costom and ritual dance.   Kata kunci: Upaya, Pengembangan, tari, Iyo-Iyo

Abstract

Abstract This study was conducted due to the fact that there had been a great development of Piring Gelas dance from 2002 to 2013. In 2002, this kind of dance was only found in desa Embacang. Leter, in the area of 2013, it could not only be foun in this village, but also could be foun in outside Desa Embacang. For this reason, Desa Embacang was known as the place of origin of this Piring Gelas dance. In the period of 2002-2003, there was also a development of  this dance in the frequency of this dane show. This study aimed at observing the development of Piring Gelas This study was aqualitative study with a descriptive method. The data  were taked from the literature study, obsservation interview, and documentation. Moreover the data were analiyzed qualitatively with the procedures of: data classification, data reduction, data presentation, data collection, dan data verification. The result of this study showed that there was massiv development of this Piring Gelas dance qualititatively in wich there was an expancion of area in wich this dance was shown as well as the increasing number of  frequency of showing this dance in the sociality. The development of the dance could be seen periodically. In the period of 2002-2004, the dance of piring gelas developed in area of Desa Embacang Baru with quite a little improvement. In the period of  2005-2009, this dance was not only developed in Desa Embacang Baru and Embacang Lama, but also it could be found in other places such as Desa Karang Dapo, and Muara Rupit. In this case, the frequency of this dance show was also increased. This dance was regulary shown in almost all ivents in the society. Moreover, in  the period of 2010-2013, Piring Gelas dance was frequently shown in all events in several areas outside South Sumatra. Keywords: Piring Gelas Dance, Development of Piring Gelas Dance.

Abstract

Abstract The Article is aimed to describe the effort done to keep the existence of Podang dance in Napar, Koto Nan Gadang, Payakumbuh utara regency, Payakumbuh town. The data used in this research are primary and secondary data. The techniques of collecting the data are references from the library, observation, interview and documentation. The results are in the form of training carried out toward the youth people in Napar based on the promised and allocated time. It is  also found that there is an increasing number of the people joining the training everytime it is carried out : 10 people in the first training, 11 people in the second training and 14 people in the third training.   Kata kunci : Pengembangan, Jumlah, Pelaku, Tari, Podang

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of article was to describe the development of the form of Tanduak Dance show at Sanggar Kelambu Suto Kenagarian Muaro Kecamatan Sijunjung Kabupaten Sijunjung. This was a qualitative research which used descriptive analysis method. The data was collected through library study, observation, interview and documentation. The data obtained was analyzed by classifying the data based on the conceptual framework. The result of the research indicated that the development of the form of Tanduak Dance show was influenced by the society’s willingness to preserve the dance, so that Awang who was one of them develop the new form of the dance. The development could be seen from some elements including movements, dancer, floor design, music, properties, costume and the place of the show. Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to find out and to describe the Tor-Tor dance in tradisional funeral ceremony saur matua in batak society at Pematang Siantar.This research was qualitative research. The object of the research was Tor-Tor dance in funeral ceremony in batak society at Pematang Siantar ciry. The instrument was the researcher herself with stationary,camera photo and handy camera. The data of this research were primary and secondary data. The data were collected through library research, observation, interview, and documents. The collected data based on conceptual framework and were analyzed accurately and sistematicaly.The result shows that Tor-Tor dance in the funeral ceremony Saur Matua  in batak society at Pematang Siantar up to 2017 has the same movements. All thye movements are the same with the original one. Tor – Tor is a part of ceremony aims to honor the death of old people especially the parents.Keyword: : Persentation Form, Tor-Tor

Abstract

Abstract The article aimed at revealing the roles of female and male dancers in Tauh dance. The research used qualitative method. The data was descriptive obtained from observation, interview, and library research. The data was ethnography. The research showed that the role of female dancers was as the ones who were controlled by the male dancers and as the dancing partners. Moreover, the role of male dancers was as the leaders and as the one who controlled during the dancing. Male dancers moved more compared to that done by the female dancers. It indicated that in Tauh dance male dancers dominated more. Although male dancers were more dominant, the role of female dancers was important still. Therefore, in Tauh dance, male and female  dancers could not be separated each other. Kata kunci:        PenariPerempuan, Penari laki-laki, peran dan tari Tauh.
