Abstract

21st century skills are skills that must be possessed by students. Students' 21st century skills are still relatively low. Problem-based learning is a learning model that encourages students to improve 21st century skills. Problem based learning-STEM in the process of student learning activities has not run optimally. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning-STEM model on students' 21st century skills. This research is a type of meta-analysis research. The data sources in this study came from 6 national and international journals published in 2015-2023. The process of searching for data sources through Google Scholar, ProQuest, ScienceDirect, Wiley and Eric databases. The database for each study must meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The heterogeneity of the data taken was analyzed with the help of the Comprehensive Meta-analysis (CMA) version 3.0 application. Meta-analysis showed an effect size value of 1.45 with very high criteria. This finding shows that the Problem Based Learning-STEM model has a significant effect on students' 21st century skills. This model needs to be applied in every school so that students have 21st century skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect and impact of the overall research on the Problem-based learning model in science learning. This type of research is a meta-analysis. The data sources in this study are 17 national and international journals published from 2017-2022. The process of searching for data sources through Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, Wiley, ProQuest, and Eric Journal. Inclusion criteria are research on problem-based learning models with experimental or quasi-experimental methods and measurement of learning outcomes to evaluate Problem-Based Learning learning models. The results showed that the average effect size value of all studies (ES = 1.40) was very high. This finding explains that the Problem-Based Learning model provides a very high positive impact on science learning. In addition, the Problem-Based Learning learning model is effective to be applied to students' science learning at school. Effect measurement in this study is influenced by the level of education, year of publication, learning outcomes, and sample size. Overall, the Problem-Based Learning model is very useful in increasing students' potential in facing the 21st century.

Abstract

Preservation of Burnt Written Batik by Craftsmen in Bakaran Village, Pati Regency. The purpose of this research is to find out the various efforts made by batik craftsmen in preserving Bakaran batik in Bakaran Village, Juwana District, Pati Regency.  The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with a case study approach.  The research sample is Bakaran batik craftsmen, government, employees, and consumers.  The results showed that the efforts of craftsmen in preserving Bakaran's batik had been carried out in various ways, namely promoting by participating in exhibitions, providing training and motif development, making batik educational tours, and forming batik groups.  Based on the analysis conducted using the AGIL concept from Parsons structural functionalism theory, it shows that the efforts made by batik craftsmen in preserving Bakaran batik are in accordance with the AGIL concept, namely: Adaptation (A) developing motifs;  making various products from batik, Goal attainment (G) promoting batik through exhibitions;  making batik educational tours, Integration (I) the formation of batik groups as a relationship between fellow craftsmen and also with the government, Latency (L) the process of inheriting batik knowledge by providing training to the younger generation and the community.  With these various forms of effort, it can be said that the preservation of Bakaran's written batik carried out by craftsmen has been going quite well, although there are still some shortcomings.  Therefore, conservation efforts must be further improved so that later it will get better results.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh flipchart terintegrasi STEM terhadap kemampuan berpikir dan hasil belajar siswa di Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah meta-analisis. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini berasal dari 11 jurnal nasional dan internasional. Proses penulusuran sumber data dari google scholar, Emerald, ScienceDirect, Eric, Taylor of Francis dan ProQuest. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi langsung melalui database online. Kriteria sumber data harus memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Kriteria inklusi yang dijadikan data meta-analisis yaitu jurnal terindeks SINTA, DOAJ, Scopus dan WOS, Jurnal harus berbahasa Inggris dan Indonesia serta jurnal yang terbit dari tahun 2015-2023. Hasil meta-analisis menunjukan bahwa nilai Effect Size (ES = 0.902) dengan kriteria sedang. Temuan ini menunjukan pembelajaran flipchart terintegrasi STEM memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar siswa di Indonesia. Penerapan pembelajaran flipchar terintegrasi STEM membantu guru dan siswa dalam menigkatkan proses pembelajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the SETS learning model on students' 21st century thinking skills in physics learning. This type of research is a meta-analysis study. The population in this study came from elementary school (SD), junior high school (SMP) and high school (SMA) level students in Indonesia. The research samples came from 11 national and international journals that have been published from 2018-2023. Data source searches come from google scholar, sciencedirect, eric and proquest. Data collection techniques in the form of direct observation through online databases. The results showed that the average value of Effect Size (ES = 0.82) with high criteria. This finding shows that the science environment, technology and society (SETS) learning model has a huge influence on students' 21st century skills in physics learning, this SETS learning model helps teachers in encouraging students' 21st century thinking skills in learning

Abstract

Please Many studies have described meta-analysis on the overall effect of e-learning influence in learning. However, there has been no meta-analysis of the overall effect of STEM-based e-learning on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The purpose of this study investigates the effect of STEM-based e-learning on students' critical thinking skills in Indonesia. This type of research is a Systematic Literature Review (SL) and meta-analysis. Data sources came from 12 national and international journals published in 2018-2023. The process of searching for data sources through Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, Wiley, Eric, and Springer. Data analysis used the Hedge formula to calculate effect size with the help of the JSAP application. The findings show that the effect size value (ES = 0.84) is very high. This explains that STEM-based e-learning provides a very high positive impact and is effective in improving students' Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Furthermore, HOTS characteristics do not cause heterogeneity in the results of STEM-based e-learning research on students' Higher Order Thinking Skills. The findings suggest that educators should choose STEM-based e-learning as one of the learning models to improve students' Higher Order Thinking skills in Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Problem-Based Learning model based on the REACT approach to students' 21st-century skills. This type of research is meta-analysis research. The data sources in the study came from the analysis of 13 international and national journals that have been published from 2018-2023. The data source search process is Google Scholar, Hindawi, Eric, ScienceDirect, Springer, and ProQuest. The inclusion criteria in this study are 1) Journals or proceedings indexed by Scopus or SINTA; 2) The type of research is experimental or quasi-experimental research; 3) the dependent variable is the students' 21st-century skills and the independent variable is the problem-based learning model based on REACT; 4) The research has data that can be calculated the effect size value and standard error. Data analysis is quantitative analysis with the help of the JSAP application. The results of this study show that the average effect size value is 1.078 with very high criteria. This finding concludes that the REACT-based problem-based learning model has a significant effect on students' 21st-century skills. The REACT-based problem-based learning model makes students more active and easy to understand learning concepts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran flipped berbasis IoT untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian meta-analisis. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini berasal dari 11 jurnal nasional dan internasional. Penelusuran sumber data melalui Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, Wiley dan Eric. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi langsung melalui database online. Kriteria inklusi dala penelitian ini adalah 1) sumber data berupa jurnal nasional dan internasional terbit dari tahun 2019-2023; 2) Jenis penelitian eksperimen atau quasi-eksperimen; 3) Penelitian tentang pembelajaran flipped dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dan 4) Sumber data berupa jurnal atau prosiding terindeks SINTA, DOAJ dan Scopus. Analisis data adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan bantuan aplikasi JASP. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata effect size ( ES = 0.839) kriteria tinggi. Temuan ini menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran flipped berbasis IoT dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa.
