Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan pembahasan tentang permasalahan yang ditemukan penulisdi SLB N 1 Linggo Sari Baganti. Penelitian ini membahas tentang bagaimana kegiatan pembelajaran tata boga yang diajarkan belum banyak inovasi. Melihat dari permsalahan tersebut, penulis mencoba mengajarkan membuat jenis keterampilan tata boga yang berbeda dan cara pengajaran yang berbeda yaitu membuat dessert box brownies. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen dalam bentuk Pre eksperimen design dengan jenis one group pretest-posttets. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah berbentuk tes perbuatan berupa pretest untuk mengetahui kemampuan awal siswa dalam membuat dessert box brownies, selanjutnya diberikan Treatment dengan menggunakan metode direct intruction dan dilanjutkan dengan Posttest  untuk melihat kemampuan siswa setelah diberi perlakuan diolah dan dibandingkan dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Rank Test. Hasil penelitian uji statistik yang telah dianalisis menggunakan program SPSS 23 penelitian data diperoleh rata-rata pada saat pretest yaitu 50.50 sedangkan untuk postest terdapat peningkatan yakni menjadi 84,00. Data diolah lebih ilmiah menggunakan uji wilcoxon diperoleh nilai rank tast antara pretest dan postest 2,032 dengan Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) 0,042. Probalitas yang telah ditetapkan α = 0,05. Hipotesis alternatif diterima karena probalitas<dari probalitas yang telah ditetapkan yakni 0,042<0.05. Dapat disimpulkan, terbukti bahwa penggunaan metode direct intruction efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan vokasional membuat dessert box brownies pada siswa tunarungu. Diharapkan agar guru dapat dapat digunakan metode direct intuction dalam pembelajaran keterampilan vokasional bagi siswa tunarungu.

Abstract

Shallot productivity can be increased by taking into account the right fertilizer factor and the potential of the seeds used. The study of potassium and manure dosages and seed size were carried out to get the best treatment in increasing growth and yield. The study was conducted in the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Riau, from February to April 2019, using a divided plot design. The main plot is the difference in seed size (> 5.0 - 7.5 and 2.5 - 5.0) g, subplots of doses of manure (0, 15, 30) ton.ha-1 and children of subplots (0 , 200, 400) kg.ha-1. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, age of harvest, number of tubers per clump, diameter of tuber, tuber fresh weight and tuber dry weight, further tests used BNJ level of 5%. The results showed that the highest dry weight of tubers was obtained in the treatment of large seedlings (> 5.0 - 7.5 g) which were given 30 tons. ha-1 of manure and 400 kg.ha-1 of KCl, with an achievement of 4.1 tons.ha-1.

Abstract

This study aims to get ameliorant formulations of various industrial wastes most suitable for the growth and yield of maize varieties Earth-3 and NK-212 in peatland, research design using a split plot design with 12 combination and each treatment was repeated 3 times. The main plot of treatment consists of: (V1): Varieties of Earth-3, (V2): Varieties of NK-212. Treatment subplot, which consists of six formulations ameliorant, namely: F1 (60% TKKS + 20% ATKS + 10% dregs + 10% fly ash), F2 (60% TKKS + 10% ATKS + 20% dregs + 10% fly ash ), F3 (60% TKKS + 10% ATKS + 10% dregs + 20% fly ash), F4 (40% TKKS + 30% ATKS + 10% dregs + 20% fly ash), F5 (40% TKKS + 20% ATKS dregs + 30% + 10% fly ash) and F6 (40% + 10% TKKS ATKS dregs + 20% + 30% fly ash). The data obtained were statistically analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by HSD test at a rate of 5%.The results showed that the peat soil improvement ameliorant consists of various formulations, is 40-60% TKKS, ATKS 10-30%, 10-30% and 10-30% fly ash Dregs, giving real effect to the varieties and formulations ameliorant. Varieties significantly affect a male flowers and female flowers. Formulation ameliorant significant effect on plant height and timing of male flowers and female flowers. Interactions both provide the same effect on all observed variables, and results from the production of the resulting show, cob was formed to produce cob big and long, the number of lines of neatly arranged and the seed is fully charged and the skin covering the cob well (± 98%) is in conformity with description. This is because the availability of nutrients that keep running from ameliorant provided, so that the nutrients are available to be fairly balanced.Varieties of Earth-3 with formulations F6, better used for peat because varieties of proven Earth-3 and F6 formulations were able to accelerate the emergence of male flowers and female flowers, thus spurring the generative plant growth, by accelerating the maturation of seeds so as to accelerate the harvest.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is determining the effect of some  treatment combinations and to determine the combination of best compost bunches empty palm oil and dolomite that could support growth seeds palm oil plantations in a main nursery. This research has been conducted in the experimental field, Agriculture Faculty, University of Riau from April to July 2015. The research used Completely Randomized Design Factorial that consisting of two factors. The first factor is giving compost bunches empty palm oil : (37,5, 75 and 112,5 g/polybag).  The  second  factor  is  giving  lime  dolomite  (CaMg  (CO3)2) : (9, 18 and 30 g/polybag).   Each combination made three replications and two plants. The data were statistically analyzed using analysis of variance and the means were tested with Duncan 5%. The research results show that combination of compost bunches empty palm oil and dolomite had show the real effect on the increase in diameter hump of seedlings , but the effect not real on the parameters height of seedlings,increase number of leaves, volume roots, ratio crown rootsand and dry weight of seedlings. Combination compost bunches empty palm oil 112,5 g/polybag and dolomite 18 g/polybag showed better results for the growth of palm oil seedlings.

Abstract

The mustard sweet (Brassica juncea L) is much appreciated consumer especially organiced organic.  One of the organic materials that have potential to be applied is POC Nias, but not yet known the right concentration to obtain maximum production.Research on POC Nias is done with the aim of determining the best concentration in increasing the growth and production of mustard plants. The study was conducted in Desa Muda Setia, Bandar Sei Kijang Sub-district from March to April 2018, using a randomized block design method (RAK) 6 treatment with 5 replications. The treated treatment is without fertilization, fertilized with 2g Urea + 1g KCl per plant, POC Nias concentration 5ml-1, 10ml-1, 15ml-1, 20ml-1). The observed parameters of plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, fresh weight, root volume, fresh weight are feasible for consumption. The results showed that POC Nias can increase the growth and production of sweet mustard plants with the best concentration is 10 ml-1 water.Keywords: mustard sweet, liquid organic fertilizer Nias, concentration, production

Abstract

Growing media and nutrients are important factors of cucumber cultivation in hydroponic techniques. The use of growing media and different nutritional sources is thought to affect its growth, so a research that combines these two factors was carried out in aims to  find out the suitable growing media and nutrients for growth of cucumber plant in hydroponic techniques. The growing media that used in this research were husk charcoal and dried bamboo leaves, while the nutritional source is liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) that has been destructed and un-destructed. The research was conducted using completely randomized design (CRD) factorial with observed parameters such as first day of harvesting, number of fruits per plant, fresh fruit weight per plant, weight per fruit, fruit length, fruit diameter, stover wet weight, stover dry weight, root canopy ratio, ratio of fruit weight per plant with stover wet weight. The results of the research showed that the treatments of different growing media impacted on all observed parameters except for first day of harvesting.The treatment of LOF affected all observed parameters except for first day of harvesting. The treatment of growing media of dry bamboo leaves with destructed LOF is the best treatment and increased the number of fruits per plant, fresh fruit weight per plant, fruit length, fruit diameter, stover wet weight and stover dry weight. The treatment of LOF and destructed LOF showed the same results on growth and yield, so that Super Bionic LOF tended as nutrients and there was no effect of PGRs (Plant Growth Regulators) on growth and yield of cucumber plants in hydroponic techniques. Keywords: hydroponics, liquid organic fertilizer, bamboo leaves, nutrient

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know application of mycorrhizae fungi vesikula arbuskula (CMA), lamtoro green fertilizer and its combination, and get the best dose of CMA, lamtoro and combination for the growth and production of onion crop (Allium ascalonicum L.) in Inceptisol soil. The research has been conducted at Experimental Garden of Agriculture Faculty of Riau University from October to December 2017. This research used factorial randomized block design (RAK). The first factor was the CMA of dose (0, 5, and 10 g per plant) and the second factor was the lamtoro of dose (0, 15 and 25 t.ha-1). The parameters observed was plant height, number of leaves per hill, number of tubers per hill, tuber bulbs per clump, percentage of diameter size of onion bulbs (large, medium and small), weight in the shelf, harvest age and percentage of infected root of mycorrhizae. The data obtained was analyzed statistically using variance then the results obtained were followed by Duncan's multiple-range test of 5%. The results showed that the combination of CMA and lamtoro treatments influenced the number of leaves and percentage of the largest tuber size. At a dose of CMA 10 g per plant and lamtoro 25 t.ha-1 can increase the weight in the shelf. Application of CMA at a dose of 5 g per plant tended to influenced the plant height, number of leaves, weight in the shelf. Application of lamtoro at a dose of 25 t.ha-1 tended to influencedtuber bulbs and weight in the shelf. The combination of CMA 10 g per plant and lamtoro 25 t.ha-1, CMA with a dose of 5 g per plant and lamtoro25 t.ha-1 tended to give the best results on the growth and production of onion crop. Keywords: onion, CMA, lamtoro, Inceptisol

Abstract

The research aims to observe the effect of cow manure dose and spacing in their interaction and obtain the best dose of cow manure and suitable spacing to baby corn and mungbean growth and yield on intercropping system. This research has been conducted at the experimental farm, Agricultural Faculty of Riau University on Januari to April 2016.The research was carried out experimentally using a completely randomized design with 2 factors. The first factor was dose of cow manure, consisted of 4 treatments 10 tons/ha, 15 tons/ha, 20 tons/ha and 25 tons/ha. The second factor was spacing, consisted of 2 treatments 75 x 20 cm and 75 x 40 cm. Data obtained were statistically analyzed using analysis of variance and continued with Duncan’s New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of cow manure and spacing no real effect on all treatments. Combination of 20 ton/ha cow manure and spacing at 75 cm x 40 cm were the best treatment to baby corn and mungbean growth and yield.Keywords : Cow manure, Spacing, Baby corn, Mungbean

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of concentration and fermentation durationand the best concentration at each fermentation time of fruit and vegetable waste to rose varieties baby rose, conducted inthe Facultyof Agricultur, Riau University from April to July 2017. This research using a randomized block design (RAK) consisting of two factors and three replications. The first factor was the concentration of fermented fruit and vegetable waste with five levels, i.e. 0 ml.l-1 water,  5 ml.l-1 water, 10 ml.l-1 water, 15 ml. l-1 water and 20 ml. l-1 water. The second factor was the duration of fermentation fruit and vegetable waste with of three levels, namely 10 days of fermentation, 20 days fermentation and 30 days of fermentation. Parameters measured were the number of crop shoots, shoot length, when the first flowers appear, flower stem length, petal number and the number of florets crop planting. The results showed that the concentration wastes fermented fruits and vegetables can increase the number of shoots per plant, shoot length, when the first flowers appear, flower stem length, diameter flowers bloom, petal number per florets and the number of buds per plant. Treatment concentrations of 5-20 ml.l-1 water better than the treatment 0 ml.l-1 water. Treatment of 5ml.l-1water is the best treatment to increase the number of florets per plant, while the fermentation treatment does not give effect to all parameters. Treatment concentrations of 5 ml.l-1 water on a long fermentation 10, 20 and 30 days is the best treatment to increase the number of florets per plant. Keywords: roses, concentration, fermentation

Abstract

Penelitianinibertujuanuntukmengetahuipengaruh jarak tanam dan aplikasi POC Nasa, serta mendapatkan interaksi terbaik untuk pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman bawang merah  (Allium ascalonicum L.). Penelitian  ini dilaksanakan  di Kebun PercobaanFakultas Pertanian UniversitasRiau, mulaidariFebruari2019 sampai April 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor dan 3 ulangan. Faktor I adalah jarak tanam, terdiri dari 3 faktor yaitu: J1= 10 cm x 20 cm J2 =15 cm x 20 cm, J3 = 20 cm x 20 cm. Faktor II adalah konsentrasi POC Nasa yaitu: P1 =  6 ml.l-1, P2 = 8 ml.l-1,                P3 = 10 ml.l-1. Dari kedua faktor tersebut diperoleh 9 kombinasi dan masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali sehingga terdapat 27 satuan percobaan. Parameter yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun,jumlah umbi per rumpun, diameter umbi, berat segar, berat kering umbi, jumlah umbi besar, umbi sedang dan jumlah umbi kecil per plot. Pengaturan jarak tanam dan pemberian POC Nasa tidak meningkatkan semua parameter tanaman bawang merah. Perlakuan jarak tanam 10 cm x 20 cm merupakan perlakuan terbaik yang dapat meningkatkan parameter berat umbi segar per plot.Kata kunci: bawang merah, jarak tanam dan POC Nasa
