Abstract

There are many teachers do not have skill on operating computer specially to make materials interesting for their students. This study was to improve the technological skills of students, particularly those who teach online. In this study, we attempted to determine how students may utilize YouTube as a medium to strengthen their technological skills. This study was carried out by us with the help of students who took the Education Management Course as the subject of study. The data collection technique used in this study was observation sheets, which were  then used to answer the formulation of how the student responses related to the video-making project in the Education Management Course uploaded on YouTube; then, to answer the formulation of how the student’s activities on Education Management, we asked students to complete their video projects and upload them on YouTube; and to answer the formulation of whether the use of YouTube can develop technological skills of students, observation sheets was used. This study concludes that respondents are able to edit and upload video about Education Management on YouTube.

Abstract

Mathematical representation is essential as the gateway to mastering mathematical literacy. This literature study aims to determine the growth of students' mathematical representation abilities in the last three years. This literature study presents a literature review on the development of mathematical representations, including media, strategies, and measurement instruments to serve as the basis for future mathematical representations. The literature study method used is the SLR (Systematic Literature Review), utilizing a review procedure that refers to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) framework in the period 2020 to 2022 because the growth in literature studies on mathematical representations is very significant and latest. Data were collected by reviewing 24 Scopus-indexed articles and proceedings from the Scopus database. The study's results reveal that from the 24 selected literature, it can be interpreted if the mathematical representation ability can be improved and fulfills the indicators of mathematical representation itself by providing innovation in media, strategies, and instruments in learning mathematics. The innovations provided can be in the form of technology integration (Geogebra), no longer conventional strategies (RME strategy), and instrument indicators of the representation itself. Thus the ability of students' mathematical representations is no longer included in the low category in solving mathematical problems.

Abstract

Malnutrition and obesity are health problems that often occur in society due to an imbalance in the intake of nutrients consumed. Community service with balanced healthy menu counseling activities aims to prevent health problems of malnutrition and obesity that are rife in the community. The method used in this community service activity is an informative - participatory method with the technique of delivering training materials on general guidelines for balanced nutrition. Balanced menu counseling activities were given to 30 PAUD teachers in the West Tulang Bawang area. Post test results of participants who were able to answer all the questions given were 32%. This shows that there is a significant increase in the knowledge of PAUD teachers.
