Abstract

Abstract : Nowadays coffee shop are becoming an easy place to find in Indonesia with many brands, and one of them is Starbucks. This coffee shop is still competing with its domestic and international competitor that running on the same business such as St. Ali is the coffee shop from outside Indonesia, also The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, J.CO Donut & Coffee, Excelso, MOKKA Coffee Cabana, MAXX Coffee, Kopi Luwak, and Yellow Truck that some are offering more affordable beverage that can attract mostly Indonesian society. The aim of this study is to find out if there is significant difference between male and female customers in repurchase intention based on brand trust and brand commitment of Starbucks in Manado. This research is quantitative research and uses independent sample t-test. The sample size of this research is 100 customers of Starbucks in Manado. The results showed no significant difference between male and female customers in repurchase intention based on brand trust and brand commitment of Starbucks in Manado. The recommendation based on the result is Starbucks in Manado should create special offer for female and male customers in different day, and open new branch in Manado for easy customer reach.Keywords : brand trust, brand commitment, independent sample t-test.

Abstract

Abstract: Risk is the possibility that an undesired outcome-or the absence of a desired outcome disrupts a business process. Suppliers should be able to predict their possible risks that might be happened in their business. This study aims to identify supplier risk for coconut supplier and to give insights about the risk management. Identified perceived risks are classified as performance and relational risks managed by trust and control mechanisms. This is a qualitative study. Eight coconut suppliers had been interviewed for collecting data. Six supplier risks in performance risks and relational risks were identified. Relational risks include untrustworthy partner, unsatisfactory product quality, and delay in product delivery. Performance risks include vehicle damaged, lack of human resources, and shortage of raw materials.  This research also identified trust-based mechanisms for supplier risks include farmer development and performance feedback. Control-based mechanisms for supplier risks include performance measurements and contractual agreement. The suppliers should try to implement the strategy of building trusts include goodwill trust and competence trust, and control such as output control, social control, and behavior control, simultaneously to help minimize relational and performance risks in the business. Keywords: supply chain management, supplier, risk, risk management.

Abstract

Abstract: Over the past few decades, almost three billion employees globally are faced with a serious problem in every company called “stress” which affects employee’s performance and it has become an essential part of every field work. This study aims to determine Job Characteristic and Work Family Conflict Effects on Employee Occupational Stress. The number of sample is 55 respondents. The research was conducted in TVRI Sulut in Tikala Ares Hill of Manado City. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis, t test and F test. The results showed that, based on the results of hypothesis testing in particular the model of the research found that the research model consisting of : job characteristic, and work family conflict has a positive and significant influence on employee occupational stress. Job characteristic become the most highest impact variable on employee occupational stress in this research. Work family conflict become the second highest impact variable on employee occupational stress in this research. Suggestions of this research: management in TVRI North Sulawesi should make this research finding become human resource strategy of the corporation. The management must focused the strategy to manage employee occupational stress by pay attention to job characteristic and work family conflict. Keywords: job characteristic, work family conflict, employee occupational stress

Abstract

Employee Performances are become important thing these days. Employee performance is assessed in terms of quality and quantity based on labor standards specified by the organization. Good performance is the optimal performance such as the appropriate performance standards of an organization and support achievement of organizational goals. There are many factors which give effect and influence in creating such a high employee performance. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of Leadership Style, Motivation and Work Discipline towards employee performance developed in Qualitative Method. This research used Qualitative Method , Descriptive Analysis to give a detail explanation about employee performance of Waroeng Charity based on the leadership style, motivation and work discipline as the factors which giving a influence to create a high or low employee performances. To ensure the accuracy of the analysis, this research uses in-depth interview until we get the saturation. The result of this research discovered that three factors are the main consideration for both employee and leader. The leadership style isn’t suit enough with the employees, while the motivation & work discipline of the employee is really low. This means Waroeng Charity should reconsider to change the leadership style and focus improving the motivation and discipline by creating training and development. Abstract

Abstract: Nowadays transportation is a very important tool in human life. The needs to move and to distribute goods makes transportation much needed. Moving and distribution of the goods is very important because this is what makes the economy run. The objectives of this research are to know about the importance and performance of Sam Ratulangi International Airport Attributes. This research is descriptive study with a quantitative approach. Descriptive in this study means that the researcher tries to describe and explain the airport attributes of Sam Ratulangi International Airport by using Importance and Performance Analysis. 100 Respondents are the sample size of this research. The result of this research shows that Resting Facilities are located in quadrant I which is very importance for consumer but the performance perceived to be low. Parking Facilities and Airport Image are located in quadrant II because it is importance for consumer meanwhile the performance also is good. These attributes are the biggest factor that influence The Airport. Whereas for Luggage Handling and Commercial Facilities are in quadrant III means that the two attributes are not really importance for the consumer and at the same time also has the low performance level. Sam Ratulangi International Airport better to pay more attention and improve the attributes that have low performance and maintain the attributes that has high performance to get better. Abstract

Online shopping is now become very popular in the world as it contributes a new way of purchase things. Young people tend to get a feeling of pleasure while doing their activity through internet such as browsing for a product via retailers? website. Once they get it, it will affect their intention to shop online. This research is aimed to know the effect of Perceived Enjoyment on Intention to Shop Online by applying Simple Regression Analysis. This method is to enable understanding the relationship between the independent variable (Perceived Enjoyment)  and dependent variable (Intention to Shop Online). The result analysis indicated that Perceived Enjoyment has a positive influence on Intention to Shop Online. Furthermore, online shop owners must consider about the importance of consumers? feeling of pleasure while shopping through website. In this case, create an attractive web design so that it will attract consumers to do an online purchasing, because according to this study, when a consumer feels enjoy while doing their activity through internet, it will attract their intention to shop online. Abstract

Abstract: Employee’s performance can be influence by some other factors such as training and development, motivation, and leadership style. It’s a part of performance management system in the workplace. PT. Hasjrat Abadi is known as one of the automotive company in Indonesia. PT. Hasjrat Abadi is a network of sales services, maintenance, repair, supply of spare parts and accessories Toyota region of eastern Indonesia and also an exclusive distributor of Toyota and Yamaha vehicles in eleven of the leading province, region of Central & Eastern part of Indonesia. This research aims to know the influence of training and development, motivation, and leadership style on employee performance at PT. Hajsrat Abadi Tendean. The sample of this research is 98 respondents which are the total employee at PT. Hasjat Abadi Tendean. This research used multiple linear regression analysis. The result shows that training and development, motivation, and leadership style are significantly and positively influence the employee performance, simultaneously and partially. Hasjrat Abadi Tendean Manado should keep their proficiency of the skill and ability training, so their employee can give an efficient work that can increase the company performance in all sectors. Keywords: employee performance, training and development, motivation, leadership style

Abstract

Abstract: Restaurant business is growing in line with the customer’s needs, wants and demands. The restaurant business has become a business that have concept of   ambience, selling, menu and packaging, and also service. This research aims to analyze the restaurant attributes of K8 Coffee House and Resto Manado. Restaurant Attributes has four indicators namely ambience, menu, food quality and service quality. This is a quantitative descriptive research and used IPA as the measurement tool. The sample size of this research is 100 respondents who already visited the K8 Coffee House and Resto. Convenience sampling was used by collecting data through online questionnaire. The result revealed that food quality is located in Quadrant II that indicated a high level of importance and good performance. In Quadrant I, there is ambience which have high importance but the level of performance is lower. Meanwhile, service quality is located in Quadrant III which means this attribute is not too important to the customers and the company deliver low performance. And the last is Menu that located in Quadrant IV. This attribute has low importance to the customers but high performance which means this attribute could be the strength of K8 Coffee House and Resto Manado. Keywords: restaurant attributes, importance and performance analysis.

Abstract

The trend of using scooter motorcycles nowadays is crucial to support consumer daily activity; the increasing number of national whole sales shows a good sign for motorcycle industry, this research specialized explores the effect of three important variables that according to author gives significant effect on Purchase Intention of Honda scooter motorcycles in Manado, the three variables are: Price, Brand Equity, and Perceived quality. This research tried to prove that the three variables are the most suitable variables to explain consumer basic attitude on purchasing scooter motorcycle. Research method that had been used for this research is associative with multiple linear regression analysis technique. The population is Honda scooter users in Manado city and Primary data used Questioners base on sample size of this research which is 120 respondents. Secondary data collection which is used Journal, Internet, and Text book. The result of this research shows positive impact for these three variables which are Price, Brand Equity, and Perceived Quality generally give the significant influence for the Customer Purchasing Intention for Honda Scooter Motorcycle in Manado. Abstract

Smartphone has been quite a phenomenon especially in Manado city when finding people own more than one is easy. There are so many company involves in Smartphone market one of them is Samsung a Korean company who has been selling many Smartphone despite of a raging battle of competitions, this has become a questions for many people. Marketing is needed for the process of buying and selling a product or service , marketing as a liaison to the process or it can be regarded as a market that meet the seller and the buyer in the transaction processing . In this study takes several variables, Brand , Advertising and Perceived price as variables that influence consumer purchase intention for research conducted on Samsung Smartphone with 100 questionnaire distributed to the users of Samsung. To Samsung Smartphone company based on this research about the influence of brand image, advertising, and perceived price toward consumer purchase intention are affect to customer, so they can make better smartphone product in future and be leader market for smartphone or other electronics product.Results from this study showed that there was significant of Brand Image , Perceived Price and Advertising Toward Consumer Purchase Intention .
