Abstract

One of the government's ways to overcome the growth rate and birth rate in Indonesia is through the family planning (KB) program. Long-term contraceptive methods are an effective method of delaying and spacing pregnancies, as well as stopping fertility. Therefore, the government is trying to increase the use of long-term contraceptives, but the fact is that the use of non-long-term contraceptives is higher than the use of long-term contraceptives. This study aims to determine and analyze the factors that influence EFA participation in the Long Term Contraceptive Method (MKJP). This type of research uses a cross sectional approach which will be carried out in the Langsa Timur District in 2021. The population in this study is all couples of childbearing age (PUS) who use contraception in the Langsa Timur sub-district, amounting to 2,261 people with a sample size of 96 respondents. . The results showed that the age variable had a value of p=0.009 (p<α); OR is 1.358, parity has a value of p=0.001; OR is 2,910, knowledge has a p value = 0.005; OR is 2.476, attitude has p value = 0.001; OR is 2,286, husband's support has p value = 0.030; OR is 2.452, and the role of health workers has a p value = 0.023; OR is 2,932. These results mean that the variables of age, parity, knowledge, attitude, husband's support, and the role of health workers have a significant influence on MKJP participation because they have a value (p<α). It is recommended to the Langsa City Health Office, especially for East Langsa District, to increase promotion of MKJP contraceptives and cooperate with related parties, such as the Family Planning and Women's Empowerment Agency (BKBPP) of Langsa City and religious leaders and local community leaders to increase MKJP coverage. ..

Abstract

The Community Health Center is a functional organization that organizes health efforts that are comprehensive, integrated, equitable, acceptable and affordable to the community. These health efforts are carried out with an emphasis on shipping by prioritizing promotive and preventive efforts to achieve the highest public health status in the working area. To ensure the quality of health services, puskesmas are required to be accredited. In North Nias Regency, one of the UPT Puskesmas must be accredited to improve the quality of services in the community. To carry out this accreditation, puskesmas are required to make preparations before accreditation. The research carried out is a qualitative research with the aim of providing a comprehensive, broad and in-depth picture of the readiness of the Lotu Health Center UPT to Face Lotu Health Center Accreditation. The data were collected by means of in-depth interviews and also by making observations. Furthermore, the data will be analyzed by researchers to make it easier to see the complete data. The results showed that the UPT Puskesmas Lotu was still not ready for accreditation. This is due to the incomplete requirements provided for accreditation such as the unpreparedness of puskesmas accreditation documents due to the Covid-19 pandemic, inadequate infrastructure such as laboratory equipment, dental examination kits. And seen from the human resources owned by the UPT Puskesmas Lotu, there are still a lot of shortcomings such as pharmacy staff, laboratory personnel, physiotherapy, and even general practitioners. Based on the results of the research, it is hoped that the UPT Puskesmas Lotu will immediately prepare for existing deficiencies such as completing accreditation documents, lacking facilities and infrastructure, preparing human resources, and increasing team cooperation so that preparations can be made more optimal. Coordination between the UPT Puskesmas Lotu and the North Nias Regency Health Office should be improved, especially in disbursing the accreditation budget.

Abstract

Covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by a new type of coronavirus with common symptoms of fever, fatigue, cough, convulsions and diarrhea. 8 Covid-19 cases were found and 1 person died in Pasar Gunungtua Village. It is suspected that this is due to the low participation of the community in preventing Covid-19. The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors that influence community participation in preventing Covid-19 in Pasar Gunungtua Village, North Padang Lawas Regency. The type of research is descriptive analytic with a cross sectional approach carried out in March-June 2021. The population is the head of the family who lives in Pasar Gunungtua Village as many as 2,507 families and the sample is 113 people.
