Abstract

Air merupakan sumber kehidupan dan mengambil peranan yang penting dalam menunjang aktifitas manusia. Perkembangan dan gejala alam yang selalu mengalami dinamika dapat berpengaruh juga terhadap lingkungan sekitar kita. Potensi banjir besar di daerah aliran sungai akan sangat berdampak besar terhadap stabilitas hulu dan hilir bendung. Drum Gate merupakan salah satu solusi untuk mengantisipasi kondisi tersebut. Spillway dengan tipe Drum Gate dapat secara otomatis terbuka pada saat banjir datang dengan kontrol ketinggian level permukaan banjir. Tujuan utama simulasi bendung gerak dengan Drum Gate ini adalah untuk menentukan dimensi persatuan panjang Drum Gate dengan mengambil studi kasus pada bedung walahar. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan perhitungan manual dengan bantuan Microsoft excel dan analisa mekanika untuk bendung Drum Gate menggunakan software solid work. Analisis dilakukan berdasarkan debit banjir rencana dengan periode ulang 100 tahun dengan metode FSR Jawa Sumatra. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa persatuan panjang Drum Gate didesain dengan pelat dan kerangka baja berjari-jari 1.5 m, sudut pintu 45° dan tebal pelat 6 mm mampu mengalirkan debit banjir rencana 100 tahunan

Abstract

Sungai Sugutamu terletak di Kecamatan Sukmajaya Kota Depok dan Kecamatan Cibinong Kabupaten Bogor. Debit banjir sungai ini sering kali melimpas dan menyebabkan banjir di wilayah sekitarnya. Penyebab terjadinya limpasan pada sungai tersebut dikarenakan telah terjadi perubahan tata guna lahan di Sub -DAS Sugutamu yang yang semula daerah irigasi pertanian menjadi pemukiman. Penyebab-penyebab lain seperti kebiasaan buruk masyarakat dalam membuang sampah menambah kuantitas banjir, namun alih fungsi saluran yang awalnya sebagai saluran irigasi menjadi saluran drainase adalah penyebab yang paling utama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis kapasitas saluran drainase terhadap beban debit banjir yang terjadi. Metode yang digunakan untuk menghitung beban debit maksimum adalah metode rasional dengan periode ulang banjir 25 tahun. Kapasitas drainase dianalisis menggunakan metode dengan perhitungan secara manual dan menggunakan Hec-Ras. Hasil analisis dari kedua cara tersebut menunjukkan terdapat 77 titik lokasi pada drainase utama mengalami limpasan berdasarkan debit rencana dengan periode ulang 25 tahun sebesar 50,32 m3/s, sehingga masing masing titik tersebut harus dilakukan normalisasi dengan pelebaran tampang sungai

Abstract

The research was conducted aimed at knowing the effectiveness of the double track program model applied to secondary school education in Cilacap Regency. The dual track program model in question is a learning model that provides facilitation to high school students who will continue to college and also students who will look for work after graduating from school. This research was based on the number of high school graduates who do not go to college. There were 70% of students in the place of a study carried out students prefer to find work rather than continuing to college. This study uses the research and development (R & D) method developed by Borg & Gall and modified by Nana Syaodih Sukmadinata (2011), which consists of preliminary, development and testing stages. This research was conducted at Adipala 1 Public High School, Cilacap Regency. Study at the research stage is the initial condition of research where the school has implemented vocational skills learning, then continued with the development stage by providing soft skills training. Furthermore, this research was carried out by testing the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) method by a team of experts from educational practitioners with respondents from several school principals, and the teacher in charge of the program. The results of research and development found that according to the perceptions and opinions of education experts who are members of the focus group discussion (FGD) showed that the dual track program provides maximum service to students on two choices after graduating from school whether they want to go to college or seek employment. The dual track program also provides increased student competency in vocational skills learning and soft skills competencies.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the competency-based training (CBT) model in the workplace in vocational high school (VHS) in Indonesia. Students of VHS conduct learning in school and at workplace/industry. A good CBT model will produce skilled vocational graduates, which will reduce unemployment. The method used in this study is research and development by Borg and Gall. Research steps include: preliminary study, development, and testing of students, teachers, and industry mentors totaling 79 people. The finding of this research is that the CBT model implemented in the workplace must meet the following steps: (1) the student must have basic skills as stated in the skill passport, (2) the students choose the location of the practice which already has the memorandum of understanding with the school, (3) VHS assigns students to perform industrial work practice according to their approval from industry, (4) competency based assessment can be done through real work, (5) supervisor industry as an external assessor to test students, and (6) competencies that have been mastered by students recorded in skill passport.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of dual system education at SMK Muhammadiyah Wanareja, a vocational high school (VHS) in Central Java, Indonesia, starting from the preparation stage to the implementation and the obstacles faced and the solutions implemented. The method in this study used a descriptive qualitative technique with data collection, documentation, and observation. The data analysis technique uses the interactive techniques of Milles and Hubberman with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Test the validity and reliability of the data using the source triangulation technique. Respondents in this study were the vice principal of public relations affairs, teachers, students, and leaders or trainers from the industry. The results of the study show that the dual system education implemented is going well even though there are some obstacles in its implementation. Industrial work practice activities are carried out for the full six months and based on the results of competency tests carried out by the school after the industrial work practice activities. Data is obtained that students have competencies by following the expertise program and the competency grid determined by the school. Both institutions face obstacles in the implementation of dual system education. The obstacles faced by schools are the non-implementation of learning normative and adaptive subjects planned with online systems, the limited means of learning vocational and workforce practices. The obstacles faced by the industry are with single instructors and the number of participants in industrial work practices and implementation that are different from each school. Solutions implemented by schools related to normative and adaptive learning during the implementation of industrial work practices, schools conduct material enrichment for one month with a block system.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of a combination of problem-based learning and group investigation (PBL Go-In) methods on the competence of the Motorcycle Engineering and Business Program students. This study is an experimental implementation method using quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The results of the study obtained the application of the PBL Go-In model consisting of 7 stages, namely, presentation of problem situations, investigation and exploration, formulation of tasks, learning activities, analysis of progress, presentation, and assessment. The results of the analysis suggest that there are differences in the level of competency of students before and after the PBL Go-In method is implemented. The percentage of students passing minimum grade of 75 before treatment was 8.7%, and after treatment became 82.6%. Thus, it can be said that PBL Go-In learning model is potential to improve the students competence.

Abstract

Competence of Vocational High School (VHS) students can be qualified, if students have competence in accordance with industry needs. The synchronization of the curriculum with the industry is absolutely necessary, so the school is not left behind by the development of the business world and the industrial world. The development of learning model should always be updated or done curriculum innovation, so that schools can synergize with DUDI. This study aims to (1) to know the implementation of the Device Network Application Initiative learning model, (2) to know the advantages and disadvantages of applying the Device Network Application Initiative learning model, (3) to know the effectiveness of the learning model of the Device Network Application Initiative for the Department of Technology and Information. The learning model of the Device Network Application Initiative (DNA Initiative) (the DNA curriculum) is the application of industrial curriculum to VHS education. Model innovation. The business world and the industrial world (dunia usaha dunia industry/DUDI) are more confident with students who get their learning materials of industry standard. This study uses a qualitative method. The research was conducted by observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis techniques. Secondary data in the form of documentation is used to support the research. Focus Group Discussion by presenting DUDI, curriculum experts, industrial class managers, user / user graduates, teachers and testimonials, concluded that the implementation of the Device Network Application Initiative learning model for vocational students is very effective andappropriate. The contribution to schools is the implementation of process concept that schools are industrial environments or industrial replicas.

Abstract

Pesatnya pembangunan yang terjadi disegala bidang didaerah aliran sungai Ciliwung hulu,telah membawa dampak perubahan terhadap daerah aliran sungai, seperti kenaikan debit.Perubahan tataguna lahan akan berdampak pada perubahan koefisien aliran, sehinggaterjadi kenaikan koefisien aliran (C) yang cukup signifikan yang menyebabkan kenaikandebit maksimum tahunan. Pengamatan di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa debit terukur dikatulampah cenderung mengalami peningkatan dari tahun ke tahun. Berdasarkan hasilpenelitian didapat kenaikan koefisien limpasan dari tahun 1970 sebesar 0,386 meningkatmenjadi 0,468 pada tahun 2008

Abstract

Panjang riwayat pencatatan data debit sangat diperlukan dalam proyek pengembangan sumber daya air dalam suatu daerah aliran sungai, namun sebagian besar daerah aliran sungai dalam keadaan data yang sangat minim (ungauged basin), sehingga diperlukan metode seperti metode regresi untuk membangkitkan data berdasarkan data yang tersedia pada daerah aliran tersebut maupun data dari daerah aliran sungai lain yang mempunyai karakter daerah aliran hampir sama secara fisik maupun spasial. Adapun data pada penelitian ini akan diambil dari daerah aliran sungai yang berada pada wilayah sungai Ciliwung. Hasil prediksi didapat nilai kesalaha prediksi berdasarkan MAPE, ME, dan RMSE sebesar 44,92%, 4,12 m3/det, dan 5,78 m3/det.

Abstract

Hydrocyclone is a tool used for the separation of solid materials in the carrier medium by utilizing the generated vortex effect of centrifugal force. Hydrocyclone consists of a vertical cylindrical portion with a funnel-shaped bottom part, inlet doors on the upper side, the door at the bottom of the underflow and overflow at the top of the door. In this study will be known how widespread the effect of head and underflow of the water in the sediment separation efficiency hydrocyclone apparatus. Variations on hydrocyclone efficiency of 94.1% due to the broad head and underflow and the remaining 5.9% is influenced by other things that can not be explained by existing variables. Between the head and sediment hydrocyclone separation efficiency are unidirectional relationship but weak. Wide underflow with sediment hydrocyclone separation efficiency occurs negative correlation is very strong and has a closeness, while the head and broad underflow there is no relationship. The best analysis model in predicting the dependent variable (sediment hydrocyclone separation efficiency) with the influence of the independent variables (head and broad underflow) is a multiple linear regression model with a predictive equation Y = 0612 + 0915 head - spacious 0646 underflow. Prediction efficiency hydrocyclone separation highest sediment that occurs at 98 746% with the results of laboratory studies of 99 781%, which is at the head of 50% and 13% of the underflow broad inlet door. Key words: hydrocyclone, head, broad underflow, the separation efficiency of the sediment, and water
