Abstract

Abstract The goal this research is to find the effectiveness of model guidance and counseling comprehensive program to develop the personality/ social competency of secondary high school students.This research uses method one group pretest and posttest design. In data collecting technique, this research was directly done through interview, documentation and assessment scale.The conclusions of the research are, The model of guidance and counseling comprehensive program that developed is effective to evolving the personality/ social competency of secondary high school students. Therefore it, counselor need to have leadership ability, create an collaboration atmospherebetweenstakeholders, and tecnology information mastered. Keywords: Comprehensive Program; Personality/ Social Competency

Abstract

The parents have an important role in the development of student spiritual competence in secondary school because the parents become the main and the first mentor for student, the parents know the spiritual need of the student as a whole, and the parents can control student from deeds that deviates. Therefore, it is reasonable if Permendikbud No. 111 of 2014 was mandate that the implementation of guidance and counseling service in schools one of which with the collaboration counselor with all parents. Collaboration counselor with parents conducted for student spiritual competence development through comprehensive guidance and counseling services.Keywords: parents, spiritual competence, comprehensive guidance and counseling service

Abstract

Aggressive behavior becomes a classic problem that still occurs today. One technique of changing behavior, especially aggression in students is to apply anger management training. Activities that train students to manage anger is composed of eight meetings by using counseling, training, and FGD. Anger management can train students in regulating emotions so that students are able to learn to minimize aggressive behavior. This activity can provide advice for counselors, counselors should train students in carrying out the anger management to enable them to regulate their emotions and the emotions of students not terluap in the form of aggressive behavior when they deal with certain situations.

Abstract

AbstractCirculation and drug abuse appear as a lack of understanding of the students about the impact of drugs. School counselors have a role in preventive efforts to prevent circulation and abuse in the school environment through counseling and counseling services in the Information and Counseling Center program in peer guidance and peer counseling. The purpose of the Information and Counseling Center program is as a precautionary measure of drug abuse and abuse, as well as insights into the implementation of peer guidance and peer counseling. Method of execution through counseling, training, and forum discussion group. The program targets are students and counselors at SMP Muhammadiyah Al-Mujahidin Playen and SMP Negeri 2 Playen, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. Evaluate the implementation through group discussion forums with policymakers. The results of the implementation of the Information and Counseling Center program is the emergence of an understanding of students, counselors, and the school about emergency drugs in Playen, Gunungkidul as a tourist environment as well as development of peer guidance and peer counseling skills on students and counselors. The hope of the program is the development of government policies for the application of the Center for Information and Counseling Services at schools. Keywords: Information and Counseling Center, Drug Prevention

Abstract

Professional guidance and counseling services are based on a comprehensive guidance and counseling program. Professional counselors were able to implement the program of group guidance based assessment prior to program implementation with four competencies, (1) personality, (2) paedagogy, (3) social, and (4) professional.  This article discusses the effectiveness of group guidance services through folklore. The fundamental goal of folklore as a medium of group guidance services is the history of the past can foster National Character. The research approach uses literature study. The analysis through descriptive analysis. The findings show that process of group guidance services through the opening stage, intermediate, core activities, and termination. Folklore as the primary basis of group guidance services carried out on the core activities. Folklore presented by the counselor as a group leader and discussed by members with leader of the group to develop a National Character. Folklore in the process of group counseling is effective in order to grow a national character that corresponds to the origin of the formation of the Nation. DOI: https://doi.org/10.24071/ijiet.2018.020105

Abstract

Bullying behavior because the victim experiences poverty or physical disability. The impact of bullying is self-esteem and affects maturity in students. School counselors have a role for skills, as well as collaborative efforts with the Peer Guidance approach. The method used in peer guidance training: (1) education, (2) training, (3) forum group discussion, and (4) brainstorming. Peer guidance to train actors to have empathy for the whole individual skills to listen, guide, reflection, conclude, confrontation, interpreating, and support. Peer guidance skills are used by students, offenders, or victims to prevent bullying.Keywords: berhaviour, bullying, peer guidance

Abstract

The phenomenon of behavior hurt others as if no longer a new story. The act of attacking directly or indirectly leads to criminal acts that can injure the victim either physically or psychologically. This study aims to provide an overview of aggressive behavior in junior high school students. This research is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach. This research uses data collecting tool in the form of aggressiveness scale. Subjects in this study were junior high school students consisting of DIY. Subjects were taken by using simple random sampling technique. This research uses data analysis technique with standard deviation formula. The results of this study indicate the aggressiveness of junior high school students in DIY in very high category of 1%, high category 13%, moderate category 37%, low category 43%, and very low category 6%.Keywords: Aggressivities, Behaviour.

Abstract

Bullying behavior is harmful to the perpetrator and the victim. The goal of this research to identify the forms of bullying and locations of bullying. Descriptive study with bullying behavior scale instrument on 300 students and analyzed descriptively. The findings that bullying behavior is verbal, physical, relational, and cyber. Verbal bullying behavior through angry, mocking, laughing, cursing, and make friends. Relational bullying through gossip, excommunication, seniority, gangs, and sneers. Bullying is physically by grabbing, hitting, fighting, and charging. Cyberbullying through intimidation, spreading good names, and engineering images. Bullying behavior occurs in schools, at home, and in the neighborhood. The role of school counselors for the prevention and eradication through guidance and counseling programs. Keywords:  bullying, secondary school.

Abstract

Drug prevention in adolescent Muhammadiyah can be implemented through a school program. School programs need to work with school counselors to establish a Skills-Based Free Drug Information and Counseling Center. The method used in Information and counseling center is (1) education, (2) training, and (3) forum discussion group. Peer guidance, peer support, and peer counseling centers with counselors on skills-based students. Cognitive, affective, and skill dimension as the main goal of the drug-free movement. Skills developed in students are open-ended questions, listening to reflection exercises, role-playing, motivational interview skills, and model stages of change.
