Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Spasial Siswa Melalui Penggunaan Model Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) di SMP Negeri 1 Pinangsori. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) menggunakan model siklus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII C SMP Negeri 1 Pinangsori. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes, angket, lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah silabus, RPP, tes, angket, dan lembar observasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Hasil penelitian dari dua siklus menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan spasial siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil tes kemampuan spasial siswa, dimana pada Siklus I nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 48,72% dengan rata-rata skor 73,51. Sedangkan pada Siklus II menunjukkan peningkatan yang cukup tinggi dengan nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 87,18% dengan rata-rata skor 79,14.\Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan spasial siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pinangsori.

Abstract

This study aims to know whether there is a significant influence of using constructivism approach on students’ mathematical communication ability at the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 7 Padangsidimpuan. The research was conducted by using experimental (pretest post test one group design) method with 24 students as the sample and they were taken by using purposive sampling technique from 115 students. Test and observation were used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analysis, it could be found (a) the average of using constructivism approach was 2.50 (good category) and b) the average of students’ mathematical communication ability before using constructivism approach was 54.96 (enough category) and after using constructivism approach was 85.17 (very good category). Furthermore by using inferential statistic (Pair Sample ttest), it could be found significant value was less than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05). It means, there is a significant influence of using constructivism approach on students’ mathematical communication ability at the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 7 Padangsidimpuan.

Abstract

abstract This study aims to describe the effectiveness of using RME approach on students’ mathematical representation ability at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Timur. The research was conducted by using experimental (pretest post test one group design) method with 26 students as the sample and they were taken by using cluster random sampling technique from 78 students. Test and observation were used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analysis, it could be found (a) the average of using RME approach was 3.5 (very good category) and b) the average of students’ mathematical representation ability before using RME approach was 56.73 (fair category) and after using RME approach was 68.16 (enough category). Furthermore by using inferential statistic (Pair Sample ttest), it could be found significant value was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05). It means, there is a significant difference of students’ mathematical representation abilitybefore and after using RME approach. The other words, RME approach was effective to increase students’ mathematical representation ability. Keywords: RME approach, mathematical representation ability

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan spasial matematika siswa di SMP N 3 Padangsidimpuan. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) menggunakan dua siklus. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-2 SMP N 3 Padangsidimpuan dengan jumlah 24 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes, lembar observasi dan dokumentasi. Instrumen dari penelitian ini adalah silabus, RPP. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data deskriptif. Hasil penelitian dua silus tersebut menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan spasial matematika siswa, dimana pada siklus I hasil rata-rata skor siswa sebesar 68,6. Sedangkan pada siklus II menunjukkan peningkatan cukup tinggi dengan hasil rata-rata skor siswa sebesar 88,9. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa meningktakan kemampuan spasial matematika siswa di SMP N 3 Padangsidimpuan dengan pembelajaran kooperatif. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan pendekatan RME (Realistic Mathematic Education) terhadap disposisi matematis siswa Sekolah Menengah Padangsidimpuan 10. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis eksperimen dengan desain satu kelompok pretest posttest. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 22 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling dari populasi 109 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, lembar observasi dan kuesioner. Dari hasil analisis data, hasil yang diperoleh a) penggunaan pendekatan RME memperoleh nilai rata-rata 0,93 termasuk dalam kategori yang sesuai, b) nilai disposisi matematika siswa sebelum menggunakan pendekatan RME adalah 70,041 dalam kategori " Sedang "dan nilai rata-rata setelah menggunakan RME adalah 83,86 dalam kategori" Tinggi ". Selanjutnya, dengan menggunakan uji sampel berpasangan, nilai signifikan kurang dari 0,005 (0,000 <0,005) diperoleh. Dengan demikian penggunaan pendekatan RME yang efektif untuk disposisi matematika siswa Sekolah Menengah Padangsidimpuan 10.

Abstract

Abstract The aim of this study is to describe the effectiveness of applying cooperative learning of jigsaw type on students’ mathematical communication ability on the topic statistics at the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Padang Bolak. This research was conducted by applying experimental (one group pre test post test design) with 47 students as the sample and they were taken by using total sampling technique . Observation and test were used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analysis, it was found that: (a) the average of applying jigsaw type was 3.56 (very good category) and (b) the average of students’ mathematical communication ability on the topic statistics before using jigsaw type was 58.81 (fair category) and after using jigsaw type was81.13 (very good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistics by using pair sample ttest, and help SPSS version 16, the result showed the significant value was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05). It means, applying cooperative learning of jigsaw type on students’ mathematical communication ability on the topic statistics at the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Padang Bolak. Abstract

The aims of this study is to describe the effectiveness of using flipped classroom learning model on mathematical connections ability on the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Padangsidimpuan. This research was conducted by applying experimental method with 27 students as the sample and they were taken by using cluster sample technique from 222 students. Test and observation were used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analysis, it was found (a) the average of using flipped classroom learning model was 3.80 (very good category) and (b) the average of mathematical connections ability before using flipped classroom learning model was 51.6037 (fair category) and after using flipped classroom learning model was 81.6519 (very good category). Furthermore, by using pair sample ttest and help SPSS version 22, the result showed the significant value was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05). It means, by using flipped classroom learning model on mathematical connections ability on the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Padangsidimpuan.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to know describe the effectiveness of using cooperative learning model of jigsaw type on students’ mathematical problem solving ability on the topic of social arithmetic at the seventh grade students of MTs. Al Mukhtaryah Sungai Dua Portibi. The research was conducted by applying experimental method (one group pretest post test design) with 36 students as the sample and they were taken by using simple random sampling technique from 194 students. Observation and test were used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analysis, it could be found (a) the average of using jigsaw type was 3.27 (very good category) and (b) the average of students’ social arithmetic achievement before using jigsaw type was 64.72 (enough category) and after using jigsaw type was 88.8 (very good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using pair sample ttest (SPSS 22), the result showed significant value was less than 0.05(0.000<0.05). It means cooperative learning model of jigsaw type was effective used on students’ mathematical problem solving ability on the topic of social arithmetic at the seventh grade students of MTs. Abstract

The aim of this study is to describe the effectiveness of using cooperative learning model of STAD type on students’ mathematical solving ability at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Selatan. This research was conducted by applying experimental (one group pre test post test design) with 25 students as the sample and they were taken by using cluster sampling technique from 140 students. Observation and test were used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analysis, it was found: (a) the average of using STAD type was 3.45 (very good category) and (b) the average of students’ mathematical solving ability before using STAD type was 48.92 (fair category) and after using STAD type was 75.88 (good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using pair sample ttest, (SPSS version 22), the result showed the significant value was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05). It means, there is a significant effectiveness of using cooperative learning model of STAD type on students’ mathematical solving ability. By describing of effectiveness of using STAD type was 1) 7.7% students used STAD type enough effectively, 2) 48.6% students used STAD type effectively, 3) 43.7% students used STAD very effectively.
