Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar matematika dengan penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 75 Ujungpero Kecamatan Sabbangparu Kabupaten Wajo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang meliputi perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi yang selanjutnya tahap-tahap tersebut dirangkai pada siklus yang dilaksnakan pada siklus I dan siklus II. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 75 Ujungpero Kecamatan Sabbangparu Kabupaten Wajo  Tahun ajaran 2015/2016 sebanyak 10 orang yang terdiri atas 7 perempuan dan 3 laki-laki, jenis data yang digunakan adalah data kuantitatif dan data kualitatif yang terdiri dari : hasil belajar dan angket observasi yang dikumpulkan dengan cara pemberian tes kepada siswa dan data tentang situasi pembelajaran saat pelaksanaan tindakan diperoleh melalui format observasi dengan teknik analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT cocok diterapkan pada siswa kelas V SD Negeri 75 Ujungpero Kecamatan Sabbangparu Kabupaten Wajo. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari meningkatnya hasil belajar siswa setelah diadakan pengembangan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT, Hasil belajar yang diperoleh dari tes akhir siklus, pada akhir siklus I dengan skor rata-rata 64,50 dari skor ideal 100 dengan standar deviasi 14,03, sedangkan pada akhir siklus II dengan skor rata-rata 80 dari skor ideal 100 dengan standar deviasi 9,13, dan terjadi perubahan sikap siswa selama proses pembelajaran sesuai dengan hasil observasi yaitu dengan adanya penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa untuk bertanya baik kepada guru maupun kepada temannya tentang materi yang tidak dimengerti serta dapat meningkatkan kehadiran siswa.

Abstract

This type of research was pre-experimental research (one group pretest-posttes design) which involved a class as an experimental class that aimed to determine the effectiveness of the Everyone Is A Teacher Here (ETH) Active Learning Model in Mathematics learning at 10th grade students in SMA Negeri 8 Takalar. This study referred to the criteria of the effectiveness of learning, namely: (1) individual learning completeness, gain and classical, (2) students’ activity in learning process, and (3) students’ response in learning process, (4) improvement of students' mathematics learning outcomes after the application of active learning model type Everyone Is A Teacher Here.Subjects in this study were students of class X MIA 3 SMA Negeri 8 Takalar as many as 30 students. The research was conducted for 6 meetings. Data collection techniques used are the test of learning outcomes, student activity observation sheets and the implementation of learning, and questionnaire responses of students. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive analysis to describe the learning outcomes, student activities, learning implementation, and student responses and infrensial analysis with normality test and hypothesis testing with One Sample t-test. The results shown that: (1) the average score of students' mathematics learning outcomes before being applied Active learning model Type Everyone Is A Teacher Here (ETH) was 85.7 and in the high category, where 27 students or 90% reach individual completeness, 3 students or 10% did not reach the completeness of individuals and this mean that the completeness of the classical was achieved with a normalized gain value of 0.78 in the high category. (2) Student activity in following learning with average percentage of student active activity is 83,3%. (3) The average of learning activity is 3.57 and it was in the category was done very well. (4) Student response to learning mathematics with Active Learning Model Type Everyone Is A Teacher Here (ETH) students who responded positively with the percentage of 85.1% and 14.9% of students who responded negatively. Thus it can be concluded that the Active Model of Learning Type Everyone Is A Teacher Here (ETH) was effectively applied in learning mathematics of students of class X SMA Negeri 8 Takalar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto yang bersifat kausalitas yang bertujuan untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan metakognisi, motivasi beajar, kreativitas belajar, dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa, 2) mendeskripsikan pengaruh metakognisi, motivasi belajar, kreativitas belajar secara parsial terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Sabbangparu Kabupaten Wajo yang berjumlah 75 orang dengan mengambil populasi sebagai sampel (sampel jenuh), pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan instrumen untuk mengukur metakognisi, motivasi belajar, kreativitas belajar siswa, dan tes untuk kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat metakognisi siswa  berada pada kategori sedang dengan nilai sebesar 71,85, tingkat motivasi siswa berada pada kategori sedang dengan nilai sebesar 76,42, kreativitas siswa berada pada kategori sedang dengan nilai sebesar 68,27 dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa diperoleh nila 74,80. Koefisien pengaruh metakognisi terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah sebesar 0,470 dengan nilai p = 0,000 < 0,05; Koefisien pengaruh motivasi terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah sebesar 0,416 dengan nilai p = 0,009 < 0,05; Koefisien pengaruh koefisien pengaruh kreativitas belajar terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah sebesar 0,487 dengan nilai p = 0,000 < 0,05, Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metakognisi, motivasi belajar, kreativitas belajar berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa sehingga dapat diartikan bahwa semakin baik metakognisi, motivasi belajar, dan kreativitas belajar yang dimiliki siswa, maka kemampuan pemecahan masalah bagi siswa tersebut tersebut semakin tinggi.Kata kunci: Metakognisi, Motivasi Belajar, dan Kreativitas Belajar, dan                   Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah.

Abstract

The covid 19 pandemic that occurred resulted in the learning process being carried out online, but online learning was found to have many obstacles so that in order to make online learning effective, students' cognitive abilities must be optimized. This quantitative study aims to analyze the cognitive skills of students that can influence online mathematics learning outcomes and to describe the cognitive skills variables that have the dominant influence. This research is a quantitative survey research conducted in January-March 2021 involving 155 high school students in Makassar City, consisting of 95 women and 60 men. The research variables consisted of exogenous variables, namely cognitive skills (metacognition, reading comprehension ability, cognitive needs, and intelligence), while the endogenous variables were the results of learning mathematics. The instruments used to measure exogenous variables are questionnaires and intelligence tests that meet the validity and reliability tests. The endogenous variable is learning outcomes obtained from the documentation value of students' mathematics learning outcomes (report scores). The data was processed by descriptive analysis and inferential analysis using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results of the study indicate that metacognition and intelligence have a positive and significant effect on online mathematics learning outcomes, it means that the higher the metacognition and intelligence possessed by students, the student's learning outcomes will increase. Meanwhile, reading comprehension skills and cognitive needs were found to have no significant effect on online mathematics learning outcomes, this means that reading comprehension skills and cognitive needs have not provided sufficient evidence that they can affect online mathematics learning outcomes. The cognitive skills variable that gives the dominant influence on online mathematics learning outcomes is intelligence with a contribution of 19.53%. This shows that intelligence has a great influence on the online learning process of mathematics

Abstract

The study aims to find out: (1) The direct influence of emotional intelligence towards learning motivation, (2) direct influence of self-efficacy towards learning motivation, and (3) the simultaneous direct influence between emotional intelligence and self-efficacy towards learning motivation. The samples in this study were students of the computer System study Program of STMIK Bina Adinata in Bulukumba Regency which amounted to 100 people with sampling techniques by random sampling. The research method used in this study was ex-post facto research. Data is analyzed with inferential statistics. The conclusion in this study as follows (1) The emotional intelligence is influential positive and is directly against the motivation of learning with a standardized regression coefficient of 0.261 with a value of p = 0.006 < 0.05. (2) The effective and positive effect of the self-efficacy of the learning motivation with standardized regression coefficient of 0.292 with a value of p = 0.002 < 0.05. (3) The emotional intelligence and self-efficacy jointly influence positive and significant to the motivation of learning with standardized regression coefficient of 0.261 x 0.292 = 0.0762 with value p = 0.006 x 0.002 = 0.000012 < 0.05

Abstract

Learning problems amid a pandemic tend to be one-way. Teachers provide more one-way information and assignments to students without feedback, resulting in boredom for students studying online. Therefore, one solution is given through the startup project leadership (SPL) program. This activity was held on October 31 - November 27, 2020, at three elementary schools: SDN Mangkura III Makassar, SDN 234 Barambang II Maros Regency, and SD IT Asshiddiq Bone Regency, involving as many as 40 students. The results of the activity can be concluded that the SPL Program is a collaborative action of teachers in innovating to create quality education in the pandemic era consisting of 3 stages: Incubation which is the initial planning carried out by designing joint activities with students and parents related to the problems faced by students and solutions that will be applied; Startup which is an active activity for program realization agreed at the incubation stage; and Mobilization which is the final stage through process reflection, evaluation, and conclusion drawing, as well as follow-up to the results of program realization that have been carried out. The implementation of SPL is running well according to the time and targets that have been determined and can increase learning productivity during pandemics.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the numerical abilities of students from 4 classes, namely classes A, B, C, and D. The population in this study were students of class VII SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Makassar with a total sample of 57 students. The data collection technique used a numerical ability test instrument, then the data obtained were analyzed using descriptive analysis and Kruskal-Wallis nonparametric analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis obtained that the average value of the numerical abilities of students in grades A, B, C, and D was not much different, namely 76.13; 78.4; 76.57; 77.23. Meanwhile, the results of the Kruskal Wallis analysis showed that there was no significant difference in the grades of A, B, C, and D numerical abilitiesKeywords: Mann-Whitney test, Non-parametric test,  Problem Based Learning Model

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan penerapan model kooperatif tipe student facilitator and explaining ditinjau dari hasil belajar, aktivitas siswa, dan respon siswa.  Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen pre-experimental design yaitu one-group pretest-posttest design. Satuan eksperimen yaitu kelas kelas VII A.2 yang dipilih secara random dari 4 kelas VII dengan perlakuan dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran sebanyak 4 kali pertemuan. Instrumen penelitian terdiri atas tes untuk mengukur ketuntasan hasil belajar matematika siswa, lembar observasi untuk mengetahui aktivitas siswa, angket respon siswa untuk mengetahui bagaimana respon siswa dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data yang dipergunakan adalah teknik analisis statistik deskriptif untuk menggambarkan hasil belajar matematika siswa, aktivitas siswa, serta respon siswa. Selanjutnya analisis statistik inferensial dengan one sample t-test yang didahului dengan uji normalitas yang dilanjutkan dengan pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan model kooperatif tipe student facilitator and explaining efektif diterapkan pada siswa kelas VII SMP Unismuh Makassar dengan indikator : 1) Hasil belajar matematika siswa setelah diterapkan pembelajaran dengan model kooperatif tipe student facilitator and explaining termasuk dalam kategori sedang dengan skor rata-rata 79,60 dan standar deviasi 12,11 dan mencapai ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal; 2) Aktivitas siswa selama proses pembelajaran berada  pada  kategori aktif yaitu sebanyak 76,42% siswa aktif dalam proses pembelajaran; dan 3) Respons siswa terhadap pembelajaran pada umumnya memberikan tanggapan positif sebanyak 82,22% siswa

Abstract

[Bahasa]: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan verbal, kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita, dan pengaruh kemampuan verbal terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika pada siswa kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah Se-Kota Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah ex-post facto yang bersifat kausalitas dengan populasi siswa kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah se-kota Makassar sebanyak 1048 siswa yang tersebar di 10 sekolah. Sampel diambil sebanyak 145 siswa dengan teknik stratified cluster random sampling. Tes digunakan sebagai instrumen penelitian. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistika deskriptif dan analisis inferensial (Analisis korelasi dan regresi). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Tingkat kemampuan verbal siswa berada pada kategori sedang dengan nilai rata-rata 51,83; (2) Tingkat kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita siswa berada pada kategori sedang dengan nilai rata-rata 70,62; (3) Kemampuan verbal memiliki korelasi dengan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika dengan besar hubungan 67,5%; (4) Kemampuan verbal berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita dengan pengaruh sebesar 42% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 58% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Dengan demikian dapat diartikan bahwa semakin baik atau semakin tinggi kemampuan verbal yang dimiliki oleh siswa maka kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita siswa tersebut akan semakin baik atau semakin tinggi. [English]: This study aims to determine the level of verbal ability, ability to solve word problems, and the effect of verbal ability toward the ability to solve word problem in grade 7 SMP Muhammadiyah se-Makassar. This study is causality ex-post facto with the population of 1048 grade 7 students which spread in 10 schools. The sample is 145 students selected through stratified cluster random sampling method. A test is used as the research instrument. Descriptive and inferential statistics (correlation and regression analysis) are used to analyze data. The results of this study show that: (1) the level of verbal ability is in middle category with average score 51,83; (2) the level of ability to solve word problem is in middle category with average score 70,62; (3) verbal ability relates to the ability of solving word problem with 67,5%; (4) verbal ability has positive effect toward the ability to solve word problem with influence rate 42% while the remaining rate 58% is affected by other variables. In conclusion, the better or the higher the students have verbal ability then the better or the higher the ability of students to solve word problem.

Abstract

Bontobangun Village is one of the villages in Bulukumba district, had several work programs developed to improve the quality of human resources, village development and to help government programs on a global scale. One of the programs they are working on is building a literacy spirit in the Bontobangun village community. The local government also has plans to create a place for developing village literacy such as reading park. However, the village govermment is still constrained by the problem of the concept of making a reading park, and funds to collect books to be stored in this reading park. In additional, the local government is also constrained by the lack of creative and innovative approaches to socializing this program and the lack of human resources who can manage the program so that it can be heard in the ears of the  local community.   So through all of the programs that are presented by KKN-PPM Muhammadiyah Universiy of Makasaar students by carring out the concept of village based literacy development, there are several work programs including one book one person movement aimed at helping the village government hold books for reading park collections originating from community donations, making reading park, literacy themed competitions for junior high school students, learning weeks activities for Bontobangun’s village children. These activities are expected to be the first solution to help the local government in realizing literacy awareness in Bontobangun village community. The implementation of this activity uses maximum of 2 months. Items of village based literacy development activities are sustainable will be submitted to village that have been formed to be followed up. While the activity in the form of learning weeks, competitions and the other activities are expected to be used as sample to organize more creative and innovative activities and can process on develop village literacy program in the future.
