Abstract

This research was qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. It was conducted at Universitas Terbuka in South Sulawesi, with 224 samples spread across the Luwu Regency, Bone Regency, Gowa Regency, and Makassar City—data collection through questionnaires and interviews. The collected quantitative data was then processed using descriptive analysis, while the qualitative data was processed using data reduction, data display, conclusions, or verification. The results of the research conclude that: 1) The market segmentation of prospective UT students is dominated by prospective students aged 21-50, more dominated by women, most of them work in the informal sector, earn less than 5 million rupiah, and the distribution of applicants is generally in all regions level two in South Sulawesi Province; 2) The primary considerations in making a decision or making the choice to enroll at UT are the cheap tuition fees and the distance education model which allows students to study from home, study from the village, and study without having to leave their jobs, or they can work while studying; 3) The marketing strategy that must be developed includes: the marketing mix consists of 7Ps including product, price, promotion, place, people, process and physical evidence; and 4) The special characteristics that become UT's brand image include that the public considers that studying at UT is flexible: Open in the sense that UT accepts prospective new students openly without considering their biological age, diploma age, and unlimited study period and particular time. Long distance means that lectures can be carried out remotely, anytime, and anywhere, independent lectures with guidance from lecturers. Another brand image of UT is that UT can convince, serve, and meet stakeholders' satisfaction levels. Besides that, UT graduates have spread across various.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of emotional intelligence and learning The research variables consist of independent variables, namely emotional intelligence and learning independence, while the dependent variable is the ability to think creatively. The instrument for measuring the independent variables is an emotional intelligence questionnaire consisting of 20 question items developed from 5 indicators, namely recognizing emotions, managing emotions, motivating oneself, recognizing other people's feelings, and building relationships; the self-learning questionnaire consists of 20 question items developed from 5 indicators namely initiative, self-confidence, motivation, discipline, and responsibility; while the dependent variable is measured by a test of 4 questions created from four aspects, namely fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The questionnaire and test fulfill the validity and reliability tests. The data were processed by descriptive and inferential analysis through multiple regression analysis with the SPSS version 23 program. The study's results concluded that emotional intelligence and independent learning simultaneously affect students' creative thinking ability, with an effect is 59.7%. Partially the influence of emotional intelligence on the results of the ability to think creatively is 36.3%, and the impact of independent learning on the ability to think creatively is 9.5%. It means that the higher the emotional intelligence and learning independence students possess; their learning outcomes increase. Thus, to improve students' creative thinking abilities, emotional intelligence and learning independence must be improved first.

Abstract

This research aims to develop flipped learning model learning tools in Advanced Calculus courses through Online Learning Systems (SPADA). This research is development research with the research subjects being 26 Mathematics Education students. The learning tools developed were in the form of teaching materials and learning videos were validated by two material expert validators and two media expert validators. The research instruments used were teaching material validation sheets, learning video validation sheets, teaching material readability test sheets and student response questionnaires to learning videos. The results of the validation show that the learning tools developed are in the valid category and the student response questionnaire to the learning tools developed shows a good response, so it can be concluded that the learning tools developed in the form of textbooks and learning videos using the Flipped Learning model assisted by the SPADA Learning Management System have met validity, practicality, and effectiveness so that they can be used in the learning process.

Abstract

The transformation of work in the digital era has had a major impact on the modern job market. Technology has changed the way work is done, with automation, artificial intelligence and digitalization playing a key role. This results in a change in the skills required, with an emphasis on technology understanding, problem solving, and creativity. This research aims to examine the analysis of the impact of technology on the modern job market. The type of research used is using qualitative methods with a library research approach, and descriptive qualitative. The results of this research show that there are challenges, including unequal access to technology, which can increase social and economic disparities. Additionally, concerns about data security, privacy and the psychological impact of digital work have also emerged.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilatar belakangi oleh masalah yang dihadapi mahasiswa dalam bekomunikasi. Masih dimukan keluhan dari dosen terkait cara komunikasi mahasiswa yang kurang efektif, baik dalam proses pembelajaran maupun dalam berkomunikasi sosial dalam pergaulan. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, sehingga diberikan solusi berupa pelatihan public speaking untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi mahasiswa. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode seminardansimulasi. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan perencanaandananalisis masalah,perencanaan pemberian solusi, pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan evaluasi,laporan,dan publikasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanan di Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar dengan melibatkan mahasiswa Prodi Manajemen dan PGSD. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara,angket, danteknik analisis data deskriptif. Hasil kegiatan menyimpulkan bahwa pelatihan public speaking dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam berkomunikasi efektif serta kemampuan berbicara di depan umum. Kegiatan tersebut juga terlaksana efektif dengan indikator bahwa pemahaman peserta terkait materi mencapai 83,33%; tingkat kepuasan peserta mencapai 91,67%; penyampaiaan materi yang jelas mencapai 91,67%;kesesaian materi dengan topik kegiatan mencapai 100%; dan kegiatan pelatihan dapat memberi solusi dari masalah public speaking mencapai 91,67%; dan kepuasan terhadap fasilitas mencapai 91,67%. Hasil ini memperkuat penelitian sebelumnya bahwa pelatihan public speaking dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi. Sehingga keterampilan public speaking perlu dimiliki oleh setiap mahasiswasebagaicalon tenaga kerja professional.
