Abstract

Abstract: A very important element in learning is understanding. Because understanding is an abstraction it can be known from one of them believe by using question and answer. By asking can be known how much student understanding of the lesson. This study aims to find out how the application of probing prompting techniques in the subjects of PAI in SMAIT Al-Azhar Brondong Lamongan? What is the value of students' understanding in the subject matter of PAI at SMAIT Al-Azhar Brondong Lamongan? And how the effectiveness of applying probing prompting technique in students' understanding on PAI subjects at SMAIT Al-Azhar Brondong Lamongan. This type of research is quantitative research, so the results obtained are in the form of numbers from the calculation. Application of probing prompting technique using the mean formula obtained through the observation of teacher ability. As for the effectiveness of applying probing prompting technique in PAI subjects at SMAIT Al-Azhar Brondong Lamongan. Researcher use technique analyze t test data. The results showed that the application of effective prompting technique in students' understanding on the subjects of PAI in SMAIT Al-Azhar Brondong Lamongan. Abstract

Early childhood is a very brilliant time in the process of character formation, because early age is a time where children absorb a lot of knowledge to be applied in the future. We see the character of the nation's children in this era, the term "Kids of the Age Now" is well known in the public. Examined the origin of the term because of the behavior of children today who are far from the behavior of children should be. Indeed, not all the behavior of children "Kids Zaman Now" has negative implications, when viewed through the eyes of art they have good creativity and mental value. This type of research is library research, namely research whose main object is books or other sources of literature. That is, data are sought and found through literature review from books that are relevant to the discussion. To overcome this incident the role of Islamic education or the inculcation of religious values in daily life can be an alternative in shaping character. Character education is the safeguarding of essential values with learning and assistance so that students as individuals are able to understand, experience, and integrate values that become core values into their personalities. One branch of Islam that can be taught is Hadith. Abstract

This research aims to reveal the basis of the ẖalaqah practice in the Pesantren al-Islam Lamongan, the implementation of the learning and formation of character through ẖalaqah, and the way the system may build Islamic personality. The method used in this reseach was qualitative. The results of this research are as follows. Firstly, the ẖalaqah practiced in the pesantren al-Islam was based on the ideas presented by the kyais and the management  as formulized in the khiththah  of the pesantren namely to have a ­rabbani generation with faith and sincerity, good morals, high spirituality, wide knowledge insights, healthy and strong physical condition, and readiness to make some propaganda about Islam. Secondly, the implementation of ẖalaqah in Pesantren al-Islam may be classified into two categories.  (1) ẖalaqah taklim, intended to give some insights to the santries on the right aqidah and the  correct worship. The employed techniques of the halaqah implementation were bandongan, sorogan  or the combination of the two. (2) ẖalaqah tarbiyah, intended to build santries to become muslims with noble morals and with some awareness and spirits of teaching  and of struggling Islam. The technique of the ẖalaqah implementation is to give materials of tazkiyat al-nafs accompanied with 'amaliah ibadah sunnah, and teaching and harakah materials and also guidance in reciting the Holy Qur'an and in guiding the characters.
