Abstract

ABSTRACT     The research was conducted from 7 december 2017 until 5 january 2018 in the fish hatchery and breeding laboratory faculty of fisheries and marine university of Riau. The aim of research was to evaluate the effect of combination of natural feed on the growth and survival rate of maanvis larvae. The method used in this research was the experimental method using a complete randomized design (CAD) with one factor with three treatment and three replications. The best growth rate was obtained at the treatment T2 (Daphnia sp 10 D + Culex sp 10 D + Tubifex sp10 D) with larvae growth of 0,73 g Bw, with 2,7 cm total length, 14,35%/d growth of daily weight rate, and survival rate of 95,56 %. The water quality parameters during the research were temperature 27,2-28,7 0C, pH 6,5-7,4, DO 4,3-6,0 ppm. Keyword : Pterophyllum sp, combination, growth, and survival rate

Abstract

ABSTRACT                 His research was conducted for 40 days from October 25, 2017 to 3 December 2017 which took place at the Laboratory of Fish Breeding and Breeding at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, University of Riau. This study aims to determine the Effect of Light and Shelter Interaction on the Growth and Survival of Baung Larvae (Hemabargus nemurus) which is maintained by a water aeration system. The method used in this study is the experimental method while the factorial design is Completely Randomized Design with two factors, namely the light factor with three levels of each light 0, light 12 hours, light 24 hours. Whereas the second factor is the amount of shelter provision, each S (using shelter) and NS (do not use shelter) To reduce the error of each treatment level, repeat 3 times.               From the results of the study obtained the best growth and survival of G0NS (dark for 24 hours not using shelter) resulted in the growth of absolute weight of baung fish larvae of 2.44 grams, absolute growth rate of 4.91 cm followed by a specific growth rate of 11.30% / day and survival 98.92%. The results of measurements of water quality obtained temperatures ranging from 25.4-28.2 0C, pH ranged from 5.2 to 6.4 and DO ranged from 5.0 to 6.0 ppm. Keywords: Hemabargus nemurus, Light, Shelter,

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted on August 8th - October 3rd 2018 at the Laboratory of Fish Hatchery and Breeding, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Riau University. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of different feeds and types of feed that are good for population growth and the biomass of silk worms (Tubifex sp.). The method used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 1 factor and 4 treatment levels where each treatment used 3 replications to obtain 12 experimental units. The treatment in this study was the provision of feed with 55g oftofu dregs, 55g of sago dregs, 55gchicken manure and 55g bran against silk worms (Tubifex sp.) The results showed that different feeding significantly (P <0.05) on population growth and silk worm biomass (Tubifex sp.). Giving tofu dregs is the best feed for population growth and silk worm biomass (Tubifex sp.). which resulted in a population growth of 107098 ind, the highest biomass growth was 165.15 g and an increase in length of 1.72 cm. Key Word: Tubifex sp., Different Feed, Population Growth, Biomass Growth

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted in May to June 2018 at the Fish Seed Hall Laboratory (BBI) headland of the Fisheries and Marine Service, Rokan District, downstream. The purpose of this study was to determine the efficacy of ovulation and hatching of fish eggs (Ompok Rhadinurus) which were injected with a combination of the hormone ovaprim with oxytocin at different doses. The method used in this study is the experimental method that uses one-factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of five treatments with three replications. The treatments applied in this study are: P1: Injection with 25% ovaprim + 75% oxytocin, P2: Injecting with 50% ovaprim + 50% oxytocin, P3: Injecting with 75% ovaprim + 25% oxytocin, P4: Injection with 100% ovaprim, P5: Injecting with 100% oxytocin. The results showed that the best treatment for the effect of ovulation and anchovy egg maturation (Ompok Rhadinurus) was P2: 50% ovaprim + 50% oxytocin which resulted in a latency time of 7 hours 38 minutes, the number of eggs stripping as many as 214 grains / g parent, value ovisomatic index of 16.14%, increase in egg diameter of 0.30 mm, fertilization value of 73.13%, hatching value of 82%, and survival value (SR5 days) of 58.31%. Abstract

AbstractThis research was conducted on 1 September-1 October 2018 at the Laboratory of Fish Hatchery and Breeding, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences,  Riau University. The purpose of this  study is to determine the effect of feed types and different doses on the population growth of Daphnia magna so as to produce the highest population growth. The method used in this study was a 2 factor Complete Random Design (CRD) method and 6 treatment levels were carried out 3 replications to obtain 18 experimental units. The treatment in this study was the provision of yeast feed, tofu pulp and sago pulp with a dose of 1.0 g/l and 1.5 g/l. The results showed that administration of different types of feed and dosage had a significant effect (P <0.05) on the population growth of Daphnia magna. The highest population growth of Daphnia magna was produced by treatment with 1.5 g/l doses of Yeast with an average population of 468.33 ind/l and the lowest population was found in sago pulp treatment with an average population growth of 221.67 ind/l. The water quality parameter values obtained during the study showed a good range for the growth of Daphnia magna, namely temperatures ranging from 24.0-30ºC and pH 6-7,9. Keywords :Daphnia magna, different feeds, different doses, population growth

Abstract

AbstractGouramy (Osphronemus gouramy) is an economic freshwater fish. This study aims to effect of frequency given of Tubifex sp on growth and survival of gouramy (O. gouramy Lac) larvae. The method was an experimental method using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with five levels of treatment and three replications. The treatment given is the frequency of natural feeding of Tubifex sp. with the level of treatment: (P1) 1 x daily, (P2) 2 x daily, (P3) 4 x daily, (P4) 6 x daily, (P5) 8 x daily. Test fish used were 10-day-old fish larvae with stocking density of 2 fish / liter. The results showed that the frequency of given of Tubifex sp. different effect on the growth of gouramy larvae. The best results were in the treatment ofP4 with a frequency of 6 times a day at intervals of 3 hours, the result weight and length growth of 0.42g and 2.24 cm respectively, a specific growth rate of 7.80%, and a survival rate of 87.78 %.Keyword:Osphronemus gourami, Survival Rate
