Abstract

The high number of imported product sales have made foreign companies became more interested to enter Indonesia’s market, including the Etude House cosmetic producst. In order to maintain the existence of the company, a strong brand equity should be built. Aaker’s brand equity theory is used in this research, involving brand loyalty, brand awareness, perceived quality, and brand association. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of brand equity on consumer purchase intention. The data collection method used the non probability convenient sampling technique. A sample of 100 questionnaires were distributed to the customer of Etude House in Manado, and multiple regression analysis was used.Previous research from Jalivand, Samiei & Mahdavinia (2011) proves that all the elements of brand equity has a significant influence on consumer purchase intention in automobile industry. The findings of this research shows that simultaneously all the elements of brand equity has a strong influence on customer purchase intention. While partially only perceived quality and brand association influence customer purchase intention, whereas brand loyalty and brand awareness does not have any significant influence on customer purchase intention. Thus, Etude House should build a good relation with the customer to create strong brand loyalty and improve the product’s design to be more attractive and easy to remember by the customers. Abstract

PT Adira Dinamika Multi Finance is a company engaged in financial services. Thus, the collection of accounts receivable activity becomes an important part in the conduct of the company's revenue distribution was then used as working capital and asset turnover smoothness sustainable company. This study aims to determine, describe and explain the Influence of role Internal Audit Against Effectiveness Procedures Billing Accounts Receivable. The variables examined in this study is the role of Internal Audit ( X ) as the independent variable and Accounts Receivable Billing Procedures Effectiveness ( Y ) as the dependent variable . The method used is quantitative method then describe that aims to determine relationships or influence between variables through a quantitative approach and statistical tests. The results that has obtained of tests conducted of chi-square statistic is  9.56 where  hitung >   tabel ( 9.56 > 3.84 ) , which means there is a very strong influence between the two variables , with thus the hypothesis test results are acceptable , so it can be concluded that the role of internal audit affect the effectiveness procedures of the collection of accounts receivable .

Abstract

Metode Activity-Based Costing (ABC) adalah suatu metode perhitungan yang sederhana untuk menentukan harga pokok produk/jasa dengan dasar bahwa aktivitaslah yang menyebabkan biaya itu timbul, bukan dari jasa dan jasalah yang mengkonsumsi aktivitas. Manajemen hotel dapat menggunakan metode Activity-Based Costing dalam menentukan harga tarif kamar hotel karena penggunaan aktivitas secara detail dapat memberi manfaat dalam meningkatkan kualitas pengambilan keputusan yang lebih akurat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh informasi yang akurat mengenai Activity-Based Costing dalam menghasilkan perhitungan harga pokok kamar Jle’s Hotel Manado, yang dilihat dari bulan Januari, Februari dan Maret 2020. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif  kualitatif, yaitu dengan melakukan wawancara pada manajer hotel dan pengumpulan data mengenai biaya dan jumlah biaya. Berdasarkan analisis data yang dilakukan dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara Harga Pokok Kamar yang ditentukan oleh pihak manajemen hotel dengan penerapan Activity-Based Costing. Yaitu hasil perhitungan harga pokok menggunakan Activity-Based Costing menghasilkan harga yang lebih rendah dibandingkan yang ditetapkan oleh manajemen hotel.  Kata Kunci: Activity-Based Costing, Harga Pokok Kamar

Abstract

Abstract: The trends that occur in the business world today indicate that competition between companies in making market opportunities more stringent. For that, the company must have a strong competitive base. One way to win the competition is to continue to improve the quality of products produced with solid quality and have the best quality, the company can continue to retain customers and even attract new customers because customers are the main target and benchmark for the company’s success. The purpose of this study is to find out the tuna export marketing strategy applied by PT. Sinar Purefoods International Bitung. The result of this study was from 10 informant workers handling export sales at PT.Sinar Purefoods International. The findings of this study reveal that five factors have a significant impact on marketing strategies: Products, Customers, Company Offering: Quality, Image, and after-sale service, Promotional Function, and Price / Selling Terms. The better the quality of the products produced, the company can get the trust and great opportunities in making export sales. Keywords: marketing strategy

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the influence of Natural Cosmetics and Product Packaging Design on Female Consumer Purchasing Intention in Manado (Study Case: The Body Shop). Natural cosmetics has grown remarkably as consumers and marketers react to popular media with regard to a healthy lifestyle, namely by selling natural products or green cosmetic products and product packaging of a product plays important role to attract consumer purchase intention. The data was collected through an online survey questionnaire using purposive sampling technique of 100 female consumers The Body Shop store in Manado and analysis technique used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis by using SPSS software. The research finds out there is significant influence between Natural Cosmetics and Product Packaging Design on Female Consumer Purchasing Intention in Manado. Abstract

Food and Beverage industry right now hold the biggest share within SMEs sectors including in Manado; Food and Beverage industry as a whole is always evolving because of the trends within this industry. In the current situation; these businesses need to compete in an unprecedented condition. Not only they need to compete with each other but they also need to survive during the Covid-19 pandemic that already spread all across the world; it includes Indonesia and moreover Manado in this particular case. The purpose of this study is to find out the determinants that affect the survival of SMEs during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a quantitative method and multiple linear regression as the tool of the research. The findings of this study show that the independent variables which are Business Resilience and Financial Technology simultaneously and independently affect the Survival of SMEs in Manado during COVID-19 Pandemic. From the results; there are several solutions offered for the problem such as Business incubator and the utilization of financial technology such as internet platform and e-commerce from leading company can act as one of the primary ways for the business to survive. Keywords: business resilience, financial technology, covid-19, survival of SMEs

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh struktur modal dan arus kas operasi terhadap pertumbuhan laba pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode 2015-2018. Metode penelitian adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode pengambilan sampel adalah metode purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 9 perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur modal tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba, yang berarti secara parsial tidak terdapat pengaruh antara variabel struktur modal terhadap pertumbuhan laba. Arus kas operasi secara parsial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan laba perusahaan pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode 2015-2018. Kata Kunci: Struktur Modal, Arus Kas Operasi, Pertumbuhan Laba

Abstract

In this study, the researcher will examine the snacks as well as a place to gather with friends, especially types of snacks, donuts. Manado has 3 donut shops namely Dolphin Donuts, Dunkin Donuts Mantos, and J.Co Megamall. There are many factors or criteria that influence the consumer to go to a donut shop. The method used in this research is Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). AHP is a method for ranking decision alternatives and selecting the best one given multiple criteria. Based on six criteria (cleanliness, food quality, price, physical environment, service quality, and location), there are the top three criteria that have the most influence on a consumer of a donut shop in Manado city which is cleanliness, food quality, and physical environment. Every donut shop in Manado needs to pay attention seriously to these three factors. Based on the overall result, shows that J.Co Megamall becomes the most preferred donut shop in Manado City. Dolphin Donuts has the lowest score. Dolphin Donuts should improve the cleanliness, food quality, and physical environment of the restaurant, make the customers feel comfortable when they gathering with family or friends. Keywords: consumer preferences, analytical hierarchy process

Abstract

Dalam mengelola kekayaan negara, Kementerian Keuangan mendirikan Direktorat Jenderal Kekayaan Negara (DJKN). Berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Keuangan Nomor 206/PMK.01/2014 tentang Organisasi dan Tata Kerja Kementerian Keuangan, Direktorat Jenderal Kekayaan Negara mempunyai tugas merumuskan serta melaksanakan kebijakan dan standarisasi teknis di bidang kekayaan negara, piutang negara dan lelang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan menguji kesesuaian prosedur penyerahan piutang negara sampai dengan prosedur pelunasan piutang negara di Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang (KPKNL) Manado dengan Peraturan Menteri Keuangan Nomor 240/PMK.06/2016. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif yang dimulai dengan pengumpulan data yang akan dianalisis kemudian ditarik sebuah kesimpulan dan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa sistem penagihan piutang negara yang dilakukan oleh KPKNL Manado sudah dijalankan sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Keuangan Nomor 240/PMK.06.2016. Kata kunci: Analisis, Piutang Negara, Sistem

Abstract

Human resources are an important factor in every company's activity, because no matter how sophisticated the technology used, without human resources to support its operational personnel, it is impossible to produce output that is in accordance with the expected level of efficiency. This study is aim to know the factors that influence job promotion. This research is quantitative type of research which uses primary data obtained through questionnaire and uses Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) as the analytical tool. The population of this research is the employee at Dinas Pemuda dan Olahraga (DISPORA) Provinsi Sulawesi Utara, where the sample size is taken from 74 workers. In this research, there are 20 variables that defined as factors that influence job promotion at DISPORA. There are 20 variables that included in the analysis, and the result show that there are 3 variables is not qualified, and the most dominant factors based on communality test are Merit (0.762), followed by Experience (0.749), Work Achievement (0.747), Attitude (0.737), and Work Attendance (0.731). The researcher recommends for the employee in DISPORA to improve their job especially the five factors that dominant and for the company to improve their Human resources management. Keywords: Job Promotion
