Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dilaboratorium pengolahan hasil perikana pada bulan Januari 2023 dengna tujuan untuk menentukan umur simpan ikan cakalang rica-rica dalam kemasan kaleng yang di simpan pada suhu ruangan ± 25Cº. Penggunaan metode ASLT model Arrhenius dilakukan untuk dapat menentukan umur simpan produk ikan cakalag rica-rica pada suhu ruang. Hasil didapat bahwa umur simpan produk ikan cakalang rica-rica dalam kemasan kaleng pada suhu penyimpanan 25 C0, menggunakan model arrhenius ditentukan menggunakan reaksi ordo satu dengan persamaan Y=3,6926x -3,6893 dimana a= -3,6893 ;b =3,6926 kal/mol K0; k (konstanta arrhenius)= 0.0253/ hari, maka nilai t=223 hari atau 7,5 bulan.

Abstract

Mackerl scad, is an economically important small pelagic fish species in the waters of Ternate Island which is exploited by fishermen with various types of active fishing gear such as purse seine, bagan and gill net. The use of fishing gear that is less selective with fishing activities throughout the year and not equipped with utilization regulations, is expected to cause pressure on skipjack stocks in the waters of Ternate Island. . This research is a type of empirical research carried out using the experimental fishing method, in which the researcher participates in fishing activities for 120 trips and samples of the fish caught are taken for the measurement process in the Lab. Processing of Fishery Products for 5 months, from October 2022 to March 2023. The results showed that the condition of the flyfish population parameter in Ternate Island waters was relatively stable with a maximum length value of 33.49 cm, a growth coefficient of 0.99 per month, fishing mortality 0.42, natural mortality 1.71 , the exploitation rate is 0.2 and the SPR is 42% and the recruitment value is Y/R 1.9% and B/R 56.8%. Where from these results indicate the need for an increase in fishing effort until the exploitation value reaches 0.4 for optimal and sustainable management.

Abstract

Increasing the exploitation of anchovy resources is generally done by predicting the fishing area, because anchovy is a small pelagic species and is a neritic resource which is strongly influenced by oceanographic factors in its distribution. Therefore this study was conducted with the aim of analyzing the distribution of sea surface temperature in relation to the catch of anchovies in the waters of Dodinga Bay. This research uses the experimental fishing method by analyzing data in the form of catch data, catch position plot data and sea surface temperature data which is analyzed with geographic information system analysis and statistical analysis which is expected to answer the research objectives. The results showed that the condition of the sea surface temperature distribution during the study was quite fluctuating, ranging from 37.4 oC - 30.0 oC, with anchovy CPUE values in the range of 76.5 - 564.0 kg/trip and these two variables have a close relationship with the regression equation formed. y = -0.876x + 6.9243 with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.845 and the highest catches are in the temperature range of 27.6 - 29.8 oC. The results of this study are preliminary information so that in an effort to manage anchovy to an optimum level it is necessary to carry out field validation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus mengenai tingkat pelayanan pelabuhan terhadap pengolah ikan di PPN Ternate. Pelayanan yang diteliti mengenai pelayanan ketersediaan bahan baku untuk pengolahan ikan, pelayanan pendistribusian, dan pelayanan jasa seperti pelayanan menangani keluhan pengguna layanan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan metode purposive sampling, yaitu metode pengambilan sampel dengan tujuan dan pertimbangan tertentu, dimana sampel yang dipilih dianggap memenuhi ciri spesifik dan karakteristik yang diharapkan. Jumlah sampel yang diambil adalah 12 pengolah ikan dengan rincian 3 pengolah ikan pindang, 6 pengolah ikan asap (fufu), dan 3 pengolah ikan asin. Hasil penelitian dapat bahwa :tingkat kepuasan pengolah ikan (CSI) terhadap pelayanan yang diberikan oleh PPN Ternate terhadap Pengolah ikan dikategorikan “Cukup Memuaskan” dengan perolehan CSI sebesar 59,93 %, faktor-faktor yang menentukan tingkat kepuasan pengolah ikan yang perlu mendapatkan perbaikan pelayanan karena kinerjanya belum dinilai memuaskan oleh pengolah ikan di PPN Ternate adalah ketersediaan jumlah bahan baku untuk produksi pengolahan ikan, ketersediaan fasilitas/jasa, seperti penyewaan alat transportasi untuk pendistribusian hasil olahan bagi pengolah ikan pindang, ketersediaan sarana/media untuk menyampaikan keluhan pengguna layanan (pemasaran, jasa transportasi) di pelabuhan, dan Faktor-faktor yang menentukan tingkat kepuasan yang kinerjanya sudah memuaskan dan perlu dipertahankan adalah kualitas bahan baku sesuai dengan harapan pengolah, kecepatan proses pembelian bahan baku, biaya pelayanan yang jelas dan konsisten mengenai penyewaan fasilitas, seperti tempat pemasaran, kemudahan prosedural pemasaran hasil olahan di pasar pelabuhan, dan kondisi fisik tempat pembelian bahan baku.

Abstract

Fisheries activities in Ternate City are developing well, this is supported by the operation of the Fish Landing Base (PPI) and the Ternate Nusantara Fishing Port. Information on effective fishing units and operations that have high productivity is important in the development of capture fisheries in PPI Dufa-Dufa, so that purse seine fisheries in PPI Dufa-Dufa is expected to be profitable and sustainable, therefore research on purse seine vessel operations needs to be done by considering all related aspects. The research took place from June to August 2014 at PPI Dufa-Dufa Ternate City by using descriptive analysis and effectiveness and efficiency analysis using scoring method to determine the level of effectiveness and efficiency analysis of purse seine vessel operational activities. The results of the study found that larger vessels (GT more than 20) have higher effectiveness and efficiency values than small vessels (GT less than 20). Purse seine operations at PPI Dufa-Dufa still allow for the development of operational activities, namely the development of new areas for fishing, improving fishing technology and increasing the quality value of catches in the form of training in handling catches

Abstract

Delo Fufu merupakan kelompok usaha yang aktif dan produktif dalam mengolan produk ikan cakalang asap sejak tahun 2016 dan produksi terus mengalami peningkatan sampai mencapai 1.260 kg per tahun pada tahun 2018, sejak tahun 2019 produksi ikan cakalang asap kelompk Delo Fufu mulai menurun dan puncaknya pada tahun 2020 menjadi 600 kg/tahun. Hasil evalusi melalui kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan dengan kunjungan lapang serta diskusi dan identifikasi masalah, didapat bahwa penyebab utama menurunnya jumlah produksi adalah rendahnya nilai mutu produk yang menyebabkan daya beli konsumen menurun sehingga kelompok Delo Fufu, sehingga kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan penyuluhan dan pelatihan agar kelompok usaha Delo Fufu tetap eksis dalam mengolah ikan cakalang asap. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian pada kelompok Delo Fufu dapat berhasili hal ini terlihat pada teknik pengolahan dimana proses penanganan bahan baku sudah menerapkan rantai dingin, peralatan pengolahan selalu dibersihkan setiap awal maupun akhir kegiatan pengolahan, penggunaan air laut atau air ditambah dengan larutan garam telah dilakukan secara rutin, sehingga mutu produk sudah cuup baik dengan umur simpang mencapai 24 jam dan produk jika tidak laku terjual maka oleh kelompok Delo Fufu produk akan di jadikan produk diversifikasi berupa produk ikan cakalang garu rica, sehingga saat ini produksi ikan cakalang asap sudah kembali normal dan adanya upaya untuk meningkatkan jumlah produk agar kelompok tersebut kembali eksis biarpun masih dalam masa pandemic covid-19

Abstract

The purpose of carrying out this community service is to provide information and understanding to the community in the Dowora Village, East Tidore District about vannamei shrimp farming using the biofloc method. The community service was carried out in August 2022, at the Office of the Office of Food Security, City of Tidore Islands. The counseling method is carried out in the form of lectures, discussions and questions and answers. Materials from this counseling include management of vannamei shrimp cultivation; feed management; water use and water quality parameters; vannamei shrimp farming with the biofloc system, and introduction to the types of ponds that can be used for vannamei shrimp farming activities with the biofloc system. During the extension activities, the community of prospective vannamei shrimp cultivators was very active in asking questions and discussing the material provided. The conclusion that can be drawn from this PKM activity is that the community is able to understand the material presented about vannamei shrimp farming using the biofloc method, the material presented is acceptable and then pond repairs will be carried out in preparation for cultivation.
