Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the impact of the method (hypnoteaching) on problem solving and conceptual comprehension of learners. This research represents the kind of research quasy experimental design. The sampling technique used is a random sampling cluster. The population in this study is the entire class vii MTS sa raudlatul huda al-islamy. The samples in this study are vii classes and vii class. the tools used are the test of problem solving and concept understanding. The multivariate analysis of variant (manova) with its degree of significance: 0.05, and concluding (1) is influenced by methods (hypnoteaching) on the faculty's problem-solving ability (2) there is the influence of the method (hypnoteaching) on the ability of discerning the learner's concept (3) on the influence of the method (hypnoteaching) on the problem solving and comprehension of learners.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive medium based on ICT with the Guided Discovery method for the Lajur Bata game on the geometry of the flat side space. In this study using research and development procedures through ADDIE model with the following stages: 1) Analysis; 2) Design; 3) Development; 4) Implementation; 5) Evaluation. The Feasibility Test involved 3 Material Experts and 3 Media Experts, while the Attractiveness Test involved 10 students in the Small Scale Trial, and 26 students in the Large Scale Trial. Based on the results of the validation questionnaire, both material experts and media experts have met the "valid" criteria. In the student's response to the feasibility and attractiveness of the brick-line game media, the results of the small-scale student response questionnaire of El-Shihab Islamic Junior High School Bandar Lampung with the "Interesting" criteria. On a large scale, El-Shihab Islamic Junior High School Bandar Lampung with the "Very Interesting" criteria so that the product developed by the researcher is feasible to use.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: kelayakan E-modul kearifan lokal Lampung berbasis contextual teaching and learning kelas X mata pelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian research and development (R&D) yang mengadaptasi dari teori Borg and Gall 7. Subjek penelitian ini ialah pakar bahasa, pakar modul, pakar media, peserta didik kelas X dan guru SMA Negeri 1 Sumberjaya. Teknik pengumpulan data memakai angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif untuk mengolah data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian membuktikan E-modul kearifan lokal Lampung berbasis contextual teaching and learning kelas X mata pelajaran biologi layak digunakan bersumber pada evaluasi mutu E-modul oleh pakar bahasa, pakar modul serta pakar media sebesar 78,7 % , 80% serta 86% dengan kriteria totalitas “sangat layak”. Saat uji coba secara terbatas mendapatkan respon peserta didik sebesar 85% sedangkan saat uji coba secara luas mendapatkan respon peserta didik sebesar 86% dan 88% serta respon pendidik mata pelajaran biologi sebesar 92%. Bersumber pada hasil penelitian ini bisa disimpulkan bahwa E-modul kearifan lokal Lampung berbasis contextual teaching and learning kelas X mata pelajaran biologi valid dan praktis untuk digunakan serta dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran SMA Negeri 1 Sumberjaya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is any difference between students’ mathematical representation ability who were taught by using the learning model of Project Based Learning with students who were taught by Guided Discovery Learning; there is any difference in the students' mathematical representation ability based on high, medium, or low learning motivation categories, and there is an interaction between the learning model and the learning motivation toward mathematical representation ability. A quasi experiment was used with 2x3 factorial designs. Instrument used to collect data was mathematics test and learning motivation questionnaire. The hypothesis testing used two way analysis of variance with unequal cell. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that there is a difference in the students' mathematics ability that was taught by using Project Based Learning model with students who were taught by sing Guided Discovery Learning model; there is a difference in the students’mathematical representation ability based on high, medium, or low learning motivation; and there is an interaction between the learning model and the learning motivation on the mathematics ability.

Abstract

[Bahasa]: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan pembelajaran picture and picture (PaP) terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa, pengaruh kategori kecerdasan spasial (tinggi, sedang dan rendah) terhadap hasil belajar siswa, dan interaksi antara pembelajaran PaP dengan kecerdasan spasial yang terjadi pada hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian quasi experimental dipilih untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian tersebut. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa MTs sebanyak 29 orang sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 31 orang sebagai kelompok kontrol. Analisis data menggunakan analisis variansi (anava) dua jalan kemudian dilanjutkan uji Sceffe' jika diperlukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran PaP terhadap hasil belajar siswa, terdapat pengaruh kecerdasan spasial terhadap hasil belajar siswa, dan tidak terdapat interaksi antara pembelajaran PaP yang diterapkan dan masing-masing kategori kecerdasan spasial terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan pembelajaran PaP bisa digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa khususnya pada materi segiempat dan tingkat kecerdasan spasial mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Namun, belum ditemukan apakah interaksi keduanya mempengaruhi hasil belajar matematika siswa sehingga diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut. Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Picture and Picture; Kecerdasan Spasial; Hasil Belajar; Matematika [English]: The research was aimed at examining the effect of picture and picture (PaP) learning on students’ mathematics achievement, the effect of students' spatial intelligence on the achievement, and the interaction between PaP leaning and spatial intelligence toward the achievement. The quasi-experimental was used to achieve the research purposes. The sample was 29 junior high students as experimental group and 31 students as control group. Data analysis employed two paths of variance analysis (anova) and followed by Sceffe test if necessary. The research found that there was effect of PaP learning on the students’ achievement, spatial intelligence had influence on the achievement, and there was no interaction between PaP learning and the level of spatial intelligence toward the students’ achievement. The research concluded that PaP learning can be used to improve students’ achievement in mathematics especially for rectangular topic and the level of spatial intelligence affect students’ mathematics achievement. However, this research has not found that the interaction of PaP learning and spatial intelligence affect the achievement. Thus, a further research is required to examine the interaction. Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research was to investigate the effect of the learning models on learning achievement viewed from the learning style of the students. The learning models compared were the cooperative learning model of the TGT type by using Cabri 3D, the cooperative learning model of the TGT type, and the direct learning model. The type of the research was a quasi-experimental research. Its population was all of the students in grade VIII of State Junior Secondary Schools of Metro City in academic year 2013/2014. The size of the sample was 278 students consisted of 90 in experimental class 1, 95 in experimental class 2, and 93 in control class. The instruments used were mathematics achievement test on the learning material of polyhedron and questionnaire of learning style. The data was analyzed by using two way analysis of variance with unbalanced cells. The conclusions of the research were as follows. (1) The cooperative learning model of the TGT type by using Cabri 3D resulted in a better learning achievement than the cooperative learning model of the TGT type and the direct learning model, the cooperative learning model of the TGT type resulted in a better learning achievement than the direct learning model. (2) The students with the visual learning style had the same learning achievement as those with the kinesthetic learning style, and both of the group had a better learning achievement than those with the auditory learning style. (3) In each category of the learning style, the cooperative learning model of the TGT type by using Cabri 3D resulted in a better learning achievement than the cooperative learning model of the TGT type and the direct learning model, the cooperative learning model of the TGT type resulted in a better learning achievement than the direct learning model. (4) In each of the learning models, the students with the visual learning style had the same learning achievement as those with the kinesthetic learning style, and both of the group had a better learning achievement than those with the auditory learning style.Keywords: TGT , Cabri 3D, Learning Style.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of developing an electronic module in the algebraic structure course, and knowing the effectiveness of the electronic module after being tested on mathematics education students. This research was conducted in class C, 5th semester, majoring in mathematics education at UIN Raden Intan Lampung. The development model used in this research is the Borg and Gall development model. The development of the electronic module was carried out based on the Articulate Studio'13 application. The types of data taken in this study were qualitative data and quantitative data. From the results of due diligence from experts and student responses, the results of the development of an electronic module are very feasible and very interesting. Then, based on the results of the final assessment of student’s effectiveness of the product showed a presentation of more than 75%. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the electronic module in the algebraic structure course is effectively used by mathematics education students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the Drill method of mathematical problem solving abilities of participants, differences in students with visual, auditory or kinesthetic learning styles on problem solving abilities and interactions between learning methods and learners' learning styles on mathematical problem solving abilities. The method used is the Quasy Experiment method, this study uses analysis of variance (ANAVA) two ways with unequal cells. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaire methods. The results showed that there were differences in the Drill Method towards students 'mathematical problem solving abilities, there was no difference in visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles towards mathematical problem solving abilities and there was no interaction between learning methods and learners' learning styles towards mathematical problem solving abilities, p. this is because learning methods (Drill methods and direct learning) and learning styles of students have the same effect on mathematical problem solving abilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the analysis of the mathematical problem-solving ability of students in Mathematics of Natural Sciences (MIA) and Social Sciences (IIS) groups in terms of interest in learning the mathematics of learners. This research is a qualitative research type analysis. The data collected in this research is done by a triangulation technique which is done when the researcher analyzes the problem-solving ability of mathematical learners. The technique of data validity used in this research is triangulation technique. Data analysis techniques used are Model Miles and Huberman, IE data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the discussion show students with high-interest categories can solve the problem of each of the stages of problem-solving correctly. Students with moderate interest categories in solving the given problem, able to solve problem problems and meet all the indicators, but in some other stages are still less systematic in the settlement. Students with low-interest categories are only able to finish in the stages of understanding the problem and planning the problem, although not maximal yet, and have not been able to finish the other stages.
