Abstract

This Article explains the outputs of the chair prototype research and do not explains the process of the chair design. Based on the obtained data, further is performed design of a chair and make its prototype. The result of the examination to some respondents during 60 minutes shows that sewing in the old chair average 116 pulses/minute, while using the new one is 104 pulses/minute. The frequency of sitting position change decreases from 13 times in the old chair to be 5 times in the new one. The questionnaire shows that using the new design gives better conformity than the old one. In this case, it can be concluded that sewing in the new design chair gives better conformity and increases the production comparing with using the old one.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peranan penting dalam kehidupan manusia khususnya yang berhubungan dengan STEM. Setiap orang harus dilatih kemampuan spasialnya agar menjadi modal dalam memecahkan masalah dalam kehidupannya. Aspek-aspek kemampuan spasial belum memiliki definisi yang jelas karena setiap peneliti mengkategorikannya dengan berbeda-beda dengan istilah yang berbeda-beda pula. Walaupun demikian, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa ada 4 kelompok kemampuan spasial yang dirangkum dari berbagai macam pendapat tentang pengkategorian kemampuan spasial yaitu Spatial Visualization, Spatial Orientation, Dynamic Spatial Ability, dan Formal Spatial Ability. Dari berbagai cara yang dilakukan oleh para peneliti dalam melakukan dukungan kepada sesorang untuk memperbaiki kemampuan spasialnya, dapat dirangkum bahwa kemampuan spasial dapat ditingkatkan melalui pelatihan penyelesaian masalah kemampuan spasial, meakukan aktivitas yang melibatkan obyek-obyek geometri, dan melakukan pembelajaran geometri yang di dalamnya melibatkan aktivitas nyata, aktivitas menggambar dan aktivitas berbantuan komputer yaitu software geometri yang dinamis. Untuk dapat mendukung peningkatan kemampuan spasial siswa maka pembelajaran yang diberikan haruslah mendukung siswa untuk melakukan aktivitas nyata yang melibatkan obyek-obyek geometri yang bervariasi dan menggambarnya. Selain itu, dukungan juga dapat diberikan melalui pembelajaran yang menggunakan bantuan software geometri yang dinamis. Keterlibatan ketiga unsur ini harus dicari dalam pembelajaran yang akan dipilih atau didesain. Hal ini sebagai salah satu cara melakukan pendekatan bertahap mulai dari kongkrit, representasional, sampai dengan abstrak.Kata Kunci— STEM, Kemampuan Spasial, Peningkatan, Software, Geometry.

Abstract

As all religions have their mysticism, Islamic mysticism is well known as Sufism. In its development, many schools of Sufism appeared and they had been influenced by several religions and beliefs around such as Christian, Buddhism, Hinduism, Gnotisism, etc. This article tends to tell about Islamic Mysticism and its epistemology. It will be discussed about the definition of Sufism, its schools, its objects, and ways to get it. The writing classified kinds of Islamic Mysticism too into three types, Tasawuf Akhlaki, Tasawuf Amali, and Tasawuf Falsafi. Each type has the certain character. In the end, it will be explained how to know the validity of Sufism.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan suatu modal penting bagi seseorang untuk menjalani kehidupannya. Penelitian pada kali ini juga dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya rataan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik. Hasil belajar yang rendah tersebut disebabkan karena tingkat pemahaman konsep yang kurang sehingga nilai yang diperoleh peserta didik banyak yang tidak memuaskan. Selain kemampuan untuk memahami, hubungan kerjasama dan tingkat kecerdasan antar peserta didik yang masih kurang tersebut bisa membuat proses pembelajaran menjadi kurang kondusif. Kecerdasan ini belum dimunculkan saat proses pembelajaran, karena salah satu contoh kecerdasan antar pribadi adalah kemampuan untuk memahami dan bekerjasama satu sama lain. Salah satu strategi yang bisa digunakan adalah dengan menerapkan strategi joyfull learning atau pembelajaran yang menyenangkan menggunakan mind map.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh strategi joyfull learning dengan teknik mind map terhadap hasil belajar kognitif khususnya materi sistem ekskresi di SMA Negeri 6 Bandar Lampung. Jenis penelitian quasy eksperimental dengan jenis nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 6 Bandar Lampung dengan sampel penelitian terdiri dari 2 kelas yang diperoleh menggunakan tehnik Cluster Random Sampling. Kelas eksperimen XI IPA 1 dan kelas kontrol XI IPA 3. Teknik pengumpulan data observasi, tes (pretest dan posttest) dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan perhitungan uji t independent dengan sampel tidak berkorelasi diperoleh bahwa thitung =3,625 dan ttabel =2,001. Hal ini berarti bahwa thitung lebih besar dari ttabel sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh strategi joyfull learning dengan teknik mind map terhadap hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 6 Bandar Lampung pada materi sistem ekskresi setelah diberi perlakuan. Peningkatan hasil belajar tersebut dipengaruhi oleh faktor eksternal seperti penggunaan strategi pembelajaran juga disebabkan oleh faktor internal seperti kemampuan kognitif yang bisa mempengaruhi daya ingat pada peserta didik saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung.

Abstract

Tujuan  penelitian  ini adalah  Untuk mengetahui apakah pembagian   tugas ada hubungannya dengan efektivitas kerja pegawai pada Kantor Dinas Perhubungan Komunikasi dan Informatika Kabupaten  Kutai  Timur.Oleh karena itu penulis memperoleh gambaran tentang pembagian tugas dan efektivitas kerja pegawai itu penting sekali agar para pegawai lebih memahami    lagi secara mendalam  mengenai  konsep Administrasi Negara dalam konteks pembagian tugas guna menunjang keberhasilan pelaksanaan tugas secara baik dilingkungan Kantor Kantor Perhubungan Komunikasi dan Informatika   Kabupaten  Kutai  Timur.Sekalipun pembagian tugas bukanlah satu-satunya faktor yang  mendukung  keberhasilan untuk menciptakan efektivitas kerja pegawai,       namun ternyata faktor pembagian tugas cukup mempengaruhi efektivitas        kerja pegawai.Selaku Pimpinan disarankan agar lebih banyak lagi mencurahkan perhatian terhadap kebutuhan-kebutuhan individu pegawainya, serta memberikan kebebasan bagi pegawainya untuk mengembangkan kreativitas mereka, serta memberikan pengalaman yang lebih luas kepada para pegawai melalui kegiatan pengembangan yang kontinyu.Dan Kepada para pegawai, khususnya yang dijadikan responden di dalam penelitian ini, disarankan agar terus meningkatkan semangat kerja dan kemampuan dalam membawa misi organisasi di bawah tingkat kompetisi yang semakin ketat, sehingga akan tercipta baik, yang secara simultan dapat meningkatkan performans organisasi dalam rnenghadapi persaingan global.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan sekolah bertempat di SDN 058241 Pungai, Kecamatan Binjai Kabupaten Langkat. Di SD ini adalah tempat penulis bertugas sebagai kepala sekolah. Oleh karena itu untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru di bawah manajerial penulis selaku kepala sekolah. Model Pembinaan Contoh, Latihan, Control, Kerja Mandiri (CLCK) dalam Program penyusunan RPP menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi guru di SDN 053393 Lubuk Kertang Kecamatan Brandan Barat Kabupaten Langkat dan berinovatif. Dengan demikian pemahaman terhadap Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran dapat ditingkatkan baik dalam teoritisnya maupun praktek.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The development of science and technology stimulates the rise of effort to make use of all facilities in all fields. One of the results is increasing number of computer use in Indonesia. This condition encourages educational practitioners to develop several models of learning media by using computers with purposes of tutorial, exercises, simulations, and games. Meanwhile, learning process which applies some media of simulation provides some benefits as they are realistic, secure, and simple. This simulation will lead students into a visualization of real life condition. Without media, students will usually imagine what they learn. It later exposes them with some problems that influence their abstractions. If a lecturer only explains about Transformation Geometry without using simulation, there is a big opportunity that students will yield misconception or they will only remember it with little understanding. This research aims to develop a valid and practical the Transformation Geometry simulation. The method in this research is a design research from a technology perspective that uses a preliminary stage and evaluation stage. The result presented the simulation of the definition of reflection, rotation, rotation half-round, and translations that have been made are in accordance with the curriculum and the existing concepts. Try-out result shows that the simulation can help students find their own concepts of reflection, rotation, rotation half-round, and translation; and sets up students to communicate. Abstract

ABSTRACT: The mathematical communication is the basic ability which must be possessed by mathematics practitioners and users during teaching-learning process and assessing mathematics. By using Jigsaw technique as a part of cooperative learning, this technique considers students to work interdependently in a group of four to six but at the same time have individual responsibility. Every group is responsible for the mastery of the learning material. The aim of this research, however, was to examine the quality of mathematical communication ability between students who were treated with cooperative learning model and those with conventional model. The population of this study were second grade students of SMUN Banyumas in the academic year 2005/2006. Two classes were taken as sample, each of them had thirty students. Data were collected by means of communication ability test that had satistactory face and content validity and had reliability of 0.5335 (high reliability). Based on analisys result using t-test, it was concluded that the cooperative learning model gave better result to the students communication ability than the conventional one.KEY WORDS: jigsaw, cooperative learning model, conventional learning model, mathematical communication ability.  About the Authors: Drs. Abstract

National Examination (UN) is a measuring tool used to determine the success standard of a learning process. The success of the process and learning outcomes can be expressed by the high value of the established UN index. This study aims to find out how the implementation of the UN can be used as a continues policy material. This research is a literary research where researchers trace the literature related to the implementation of the UN and the direction of educational policy. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the UN is still needed but with some notes. All supporting components and instruments must be ready and evenly distributed throughout the districts or cities that deal with the competence of teachers, supporting facilities, and public awareness of the importance of the quality of education. The National Exam encourages all parties to work hard in order to achieve better learning outcomes for learners, in accordance with the competency standards of graduates. UN has become a part of the national policy direction, which gave birth to the NationalStandard School Examination, the curriculum changes from KTSP to K13, and the implementation of the Full Day School program as an effort to maximize the potential of learners in school activities.
