Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know whether there is a significant increase the social interaction ability score of autism students after the use of ¡§Gobak Sodor¡¨ game in group guidance. This research uses a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subject of this research is two autistic students in inclusive school of SMP Galuh Handayani Surabaya selected with a purposive sample technique. The reason the researchers chose subjects of this study is that two students had lower social interaction ability. In addition, they do not have a personality disorder characterized by the following characteristics: excessive dependence, and excessive fear, deep sadness, exploitative behavior, uncontrolled anger, and if their problems are handled they will not be satisfied. Data collection technique of this research uses observation and data analysis uses the sign test. Result of data analysis showed that £l > „Ö or 1 > 0.05 so that Ho is refused and Ha is reseived, it can be concluded that the research hypothesis is accepted or there is a significant increase in score of social interaction skills of autism students after the use ¡§Gobak Sodor¡¨ game in group guidance.

Abstract

Salah satu aspek yang perlu dikembangkan dan dipelajari sejak dini adalah bahasa. karena pada usia ini anak akanmengoptimalkan seluruh pengetahuannya, hal ini yang nantinya akan menentukan keberhasilan anak pada tahapanberikutnya. Dan keberhasilan itu bisa dilihat dari perkembangan bahasa yang digunakanya untuk berkomunikasi. Untukitu pada masa ini anak akan belajar selain bahasa ibu (pertama). Selain itu otak anak akan dapat dengan mudah menyerap bahasa. Seseorang dikatakan memiliki kemampuan apabila telah melalui dan menyelesaikan sebuah proses, proses yang harus dilalui dalam bahasa dan berbahasa ialah empat aspek keterampilan berbahasa. Aspek membaca, menulis, berbicara, dan menyimak. Keempat aspek ini bukan hanya mendukung dalam ruang lingkup berbahasa saja melainkan dalam ruang lingkup kehidupan pun saling berhubungan erat. Adapun fokus pengabdian untuk meningkatkan pemahaman sekaligus keterampilan berbahasa yang dimiliki bunda Pos PAUD Terpadu (PPT) Kecamatan Kenjeran Kota Surabaya guna ditransferkan kepada anak-anak usia dini. Metode pelaksanaan dalam program pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui Pendampingan para Bunda PPT Kecamatan Kenjeran Kota Surabaya dalam membuat konsep dan praktik keterampilan berbahasadi Paguyuban PPT Kecamatan Kenjeran Kota Surabayaini melalui 3 (tiga) tahap yaitu: Pra Kegiatan, (Rapat strategi pelaksanaan, Survei lokasi, Persiapan sarana dan prasarana), Pelaksanaan Kegiatan, Pasca Kegiatan. Hasil dari pengabdian ini, bertambahnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman bagi bunda-bunda paguyuban dalam menanamkan kemampuan atau keterampilan berbahasa bagi anak-anak usia dini yang dapat menumbuhkan keterampilan berbahasa.

Abstract

COVID-19 is a SARS virus infection that has spread throughout the world including in Indonesia. The existence of this pandemic has a significant impact on all countries, such as health, economy, education, and all supporting sectors of a country. In Indonesia itself adapting the New Normal to deal with this global pandemic. New Normal is associated with new habit changes that also impact the health level of children. So, the purpose of community service (PKM) is to provide education as an effort to increase the child's immune system in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. This PKM is implemented at the Baca Rumah Kita Foundation in the Mejoyo Tenggilis sub-district. This PKM is carried out by presenting counseling to school-age children with interactive methods and games as well as health checks as screening and providing supplements to improve the child's immune system. Based on the PKM results, it was found that the children were enthusiastic about this activity. From the results of health screening, participants aged 5-10 years were 84.21%. With a nutritional status of 47.37% less, 15.79% less nutrition, 26.32% good nutrition, and 10.53% over nutrition. Based on the results of this screening, it can be used as a measure that the growth and development of children in this region needs special attention, especially during the current pandemic.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v6i2.5001

Abstract

Although many studies have examined the relationship between spirituality and empathy, very few studies have focused on demographic and spiritual dimensions in influencing empathy for pre-service teachers. This study analyzes the effect of gender, age, and years of formal education on spirituality and empathy and analyzes the influence of the spiritual dimensions on empathy. This research is a cross-sectional study, with 319 Muslim pre-service teachers as respondents. The data collection technique used an online questionnaire adapted from the Spirituality Assessment Scale (SAS) and the Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI). The results show that age affects spirituality, while empathy is influenced by age and gender. One unanticipated finding was that years of formal education had no effect on either spirituality or empathy. The most important finding of this study is the higher the level of innerness, the more likely it is to have high empathy. This study's findings are useful as an assessment material and creating counseling designs to increase empathy for pre-service teachers. This is a part of forming the ideal profile of counselors in schools later. Integrating Islamic values ​​is also an essential alternative in counseling for Muslims.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to contextualize the various inspirational stories of the Prophet Muhammad summarized in the Sirah Nabawiyah. The exploration of inspired stories will place more emphasis on the period before prophetic revelation, so as to minimize the reasons for mankind's inability to make Muhammad a role model and an inspirational figure. The contextualization of thought in sirah nabawiyah was carried out using the hermeneutic approach as a method in the tradition of Paul Ricoeur's thought. Hermeneutics in the Paul Ricoeur tradition tries to go beyond modern interpretation which seeks to find an understanding of the meaning between the interpreter and the writer. Therefore, it is possible to produce new meanings of sirah nabawiyah accompanied by a subjective reflection process that is linked to the contextual background. This article generates contextualization and new meanings of the inspirational story of the prophet Muhammad in Sirah Nabawiyah to become eighteen values ​​of character education based on national culture. These character values ​​will be embedded in every level of Indonesian national education.

Abstract

Health professionals are required to be ready to face challenges in the health sector (triple burden) caused by infectious diseases, degenerative diseases and emerging diseases such as Covid- 19 which is currently a pandemic. Health academics have a role to provide education and training for students with team-based service competencies. The research objective was to identify opportunities and challenges for interprofessional education (IPE) in the practical experiences of health faculty students. Collect data using a questionnaire and analyzed it descriptively. The results of the measurement of knowledge show that 73% of respondents understand IPE, 94.6% of respondents understand about working with other professions through IPE. 97.0% of respondents understand IPE to train the confidence of prospective health workers. 88.0% of respondents understand IPE to provide joint services with different professions. While the measurement results obtained 92.8% of respondents agreed to the application of IPE in learning at the Faculty of Health, choosing to agree that prospective health workers must study and practice directly for 98.8.0% by paying attention to 4 IPE factors (ethics, roles/responsibilities, interpersonal communication and teamwork, and 98.8% of respondents agreed that health services could be provided optimally if they were able to understand and appreciate the competence of each health profession, while the measurement results of IPE skills were obtained 97.0% of respondents agreed that when studying in the laboratory/field must respect different friends, 98.8% of respondents agree that students who try to be good listeners, and 56.3% of respondents who choose not to wait for orders, and 83.8% of respondents who are tasked with carrying out the correct task. It is felt that 46.7% find it difficult to use creativity when carrying out tasks when they have to work with other professions.

Abstract

Perilaku agresif merupakan masalah serius yang terjadi bukan hanya di Indonesia, melainkan juga menjadi perhatian dunia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara perilaku agresif terhadap kecemasan dan empati pada anak usia dini di Kota Surabaya. Pendekatan penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan metode korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya korekasi yang signifikan antara perilaku agresif pada anak usia dini terhadap kecemasan dan empati. Rekomendasi untuk peneliti selanjutnya adalah agar mencari solusi atas perilaku agresif yang terjadi khususnya pada anak-anak.

Abstract

The prevalence of autism in both Indonesia and the world is increasing from year to year. This causes the problem of autism to be a serious problem not only in the health sector but also in education. Until now, the cause of autism can not be ascertained even that the solution is not optimal. Through the implementation of guidance and counseling in schools, teachers try to overcome the problems of autistic children, especially the problem of low social interaction abilities. The purpose of this study is to test Gobak Sodor Game in group guidance to improve the social interaction abilities of children with autism. This study uses quantitative with a single subject type AB design. The results of this study indicate an increase in the social interaction ability of autism children after the implementation of Gobak Sodor Game in group guidance. In addition, new findings from this study involve children's participation in building interactions with autistic children. This is really positive for both parties, namely autistic children and also normal children who join in the game.

Abstract

Many sources mention the low quality of education in Indonesia. Through the action research classroom, gradual changes began. The essence of an action research classroom is the evaluation of learning. The benefit of this program is to improve the teacher's ability to conduct classroom action research. In addition, the mastery of writing action research classroom is also useful for increasing teacher credit scores for promotion. The target of this program is teachers in the Tuban Regency under the auspices of the Teacher Learning Center (PBG). The purpose of this activity is to improve understanding and ability to write action research classroom. The implementation method is through a series of training activities for one year using the ICARE model. The result of the activity is an increase in the teacher's understanding of the training material. In addition, the output of this activity is a report on action research classrooms. Based on the results of the activity output, the weakness of the teachers is in the literature review process and writing references. The teacher's advantage is creating innovative learning. The recommendation for further community service activities is a need for assistance to improve the ability to find literature reviews for teachers.
