Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of health education on the Personal Hygiene of students at the Pancasila Islamic Boarding School in Bengkulu City. This study is a quantitative study using a cross-sectional approach. The results of the univariate analysis obtained that the average score of personal hygiene behavior before being given health education was 42.17 and after health education was 61.20. In conclusion, there is an effect of health education on personal hygiene and on average before and after being given health education on personal hygiene behavior. Abstract

This study aims to determine the patient's perception of the quality of service at the Harapan and Doa Hospital in Bengkulu City during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research design used was quantitative using a cross-sectional design. Overall, the results showed that the patient's perception of the five dimensions of service quality was still not good, namely 57.1% reliability, 63.8% responsiveness, 56.2% assurance, 50.5% empathy, and 55.2% physical evidence. The results of the chi-square test showed that there was a significant effect between age (p-value = 0.001) , gender (p-value = 0.001), education (p-value = 0.001), occupation (p-value = 0.001) on patients' perceptions of quality. service. In conclusion, most of the respondents stated that the Outpatient Polyclinic of Harapan and Doa Hospital Bengkulu City was still not good. There was an influence of age, gender, education, and occupation on patients' perceptions of service quality. Keywords: Satisfaction, Quality, Pandemic, Perception

Abstract

This study aims to explain the construction of rape among underage perpetrators (14 to 17 years). The design of this research is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The results of the study found that boys who were involved in rape cases could interpret rape in 3 forms, namely: as forced sex, consensual sex and deviant solidarity in boys' friendship groups. Overall, the construction they built illustrates the strong existence of patriarchal culture in rape cases involving perpetrators under 18 years of age. This is reflected in the form of domination, oppression, and victim blaming. In conclusion, the role of patriarchal culture in rape and injustice against women. Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of knowledge with adolescent attitudes towards Maturation Age of Marriage (PUP). This research method is a quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The results showed that there were 63 female adolescents (63%), the most aged 18-19 years 51 (51%), good knowledge 65 people (65%) and a positive attitude of Maturation of Marriage Age (PUP) namely 61 people (61 %). In conclusion, there is no relationship between the level of knowledge with adolescent attitudes towards Maturation Age of Marriage. Abstract

Sanitasi Total Berbasis Masyarakat (STBM) penting diterapkan masa pandemi, karena salah satu penyebab tingginya penyebaran COVID-19 adalah belum diterapkannya PHBS. Kemenkes mengeluarkan protokol pemicuan STBM di tengah pandemi dalam memasuki era new normal. Kelurahan yang ada di wilayah Puskesmas Pasar Ikan belum tercatat sebagai Kelurahan Stop Buang air besar Sembarangan. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui pelaksanaan pemicuan STBM pada masa new normal pandemi COVID-19. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Informan berjumlah 8 orang yang terdiri dari 2 Sanitarian Dinkes, 2 Sanitarian Puskesmas, 2 staf Kelurahan, 1 Ketua RT dan 1 masyarakat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukan pemicuan yang dilakukan meliputi pemetaan sanitasi dan diskusi, bina suasana tidak dilakukan, waktu pemicuan dipersingkat serta penerapan protokol kesehatan saat pemicuan telah diterapkan. Saat pandemi bina suasana akan dilakukan jika diperlukan. Masyarakat dan Tim Pemicu melakukan pembuatan peta sanitasi sederhana. Peta berisi informasi tentang batas dusun, rumah yang mempunyai dan rumah tanpa jamban, jalan, sungai, sumber air, masalah sanitasi yang ada. Dalam peta ditunjukkan/ditandai tempat yang biasanya membuang limbah WC, tempat sampah dan air limbah. Pelaksanaan pemicuan STBM di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pasar Ikan Kota Bengkulu pada masa new normal telah dilaksanakan sesuai dengan Pedoman dari Kemenkes.

Abstract

Tindakan pencegahan COVID 19 harus diterapkan untuk mencegah infeksi virus. Survey pendahuluan menunjukkan lebih dari 50% Mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu belum menerapkan perilaku pencegahan COVID-19. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi faktor yang berhubungan dengan perilaku pencegahan COVID-19 pada mahasiswa/i. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ialah cross sectional. Survei dilakukan di Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu selama bulan Desember 2020. Populasi penelitian ini terdiri dari 5.788 mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu mulai tahun 2014-2020 dengan status aktif. Sampel diperoleh sebanyak 98 mahasiswa. Analisis univariat dan bivariat digunakan setelah data terkumpul. Hasil analisis menemukkan hanya 51% responden yang menerapkan perilaku pencegahan COVID-19, berpengetahuan tinggi (62,2%), sikap mendukung (52,04) dan keluarga mendukung (57,1%). Tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan tentang pencegahan COVID-19 (Pv=0,499) dan dukungan yang diberikan keluarga (Pv=0,431) dengan perilaku pencegahan COVID-19 dan ada hubungan sikap dengan perilaku pencegahan COVID-19 (Pv=0,001; OR=4,667).

Abstract

Background: The highest coverage of exclusive breastfeeding data from Bengkulu City Health Office was Nusa Indah Public Health Center (86.9%) and the lowest was Lingkar Barat Public Health Center (63.8%).Objective: The research objective is to determine the implementation of exclusive breastfeeding programs seen from the input, process, output in the city of Bengkulu in 2018.Methods: This was an observational analytic study with a qualitative approach. The informants consisted of nutrition workers, midwives, health promotor, heads of Public helath center and mothers who participated in the exclusive breastfeeding program at the puskesmas. This research was carried out in both Bengkulu City Health Center, starting from July to August 2019. Data analysis was done by data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing and verification.Results: The study showed that the executors of the exclusive ASI program consisted of nutrition workers, midwives and promkes, using BOK funds, material on exclusive breastfeeding, tools in the form of infant pantom, breast pantom, breast milk, with counseling, counseling and IMD methods. The implementation process is Exclusive ASI socialization, formation and guidance of ASI Suport group. Implementation with counseling, and counseling. Control by looking at data obtained from posyandu.Conclusion: The Nusa Indah Puskesmas has been successful because the ASI support group has played an active role in assisting the implementation of the Exclusive ASI program, while the West Lingkar Puskesmas was not successful because the officers did indeed obtain real data in the field.

Abstract

The continued use of contraception has an effect on the effectiveness of a contraceptive method to prevent the occurrence of an unwanted pregnancy. The purpose of this study is to find the association of the incidence of contraceptive discontinuation in women of 15-49 years of age in Bengkulu Province. While the benefits of this study specifically for the National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) are to overcome the problems associated with Population, Family Planning and Family Development (KKBPK) for the discontinuation of contraceptive use in WUS in Family Planning in Bengkulu Province. This study uses a cross-sectional design using secondary data from the 2017 IDHS data on respondents of Fertile Age Women, and the results of the data analyzed using the SPSS program with the Univariate, Bivariate Chi-Square test. The results of this study found that WUS who discontinued using contraceptives were 89 people (33.8%), with the reason that the dominant husband opposed 85 people (32.3%) and health problems as many as 44 people (16.7%). Most were 15-35 years old and high school graduates, most worked and lived in the village. There is no relationship between age (p value 0.420), education (p value 0.304), employment (p value 0.275), area of residence (p value 0.714) and wealth index (economy) (p value 0.232) with the incidence of contraceptive use in Fertile Age Women Bengkulu Province. Factors of age, education, occupation, area of residence and wealth index (economy) impact the incidence of dropping out of contraceptive use in women of childbearing age.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19  yang menyerang dunia telah membawa banyak perubahan di masyarakat termasuk anak-anak yang merupakan kelompok rentang tertular virus ini. Berbagai bentuk pencegahan telah dilakukan yakni dengan terus menerapkan protokol kesehatan. Masih rendahnya pemahaman dan kesadaran anak akan bahaya dan pencegahnnya, membuat mereka seolah mengabaikan penerapan protokol kesehatan termasuk saat di sekolah sehingga membuat penyelenggaran pendidikan merasa kewalahan dalam melakukan pengawasan. Pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan kemampuan anak usia dini untuk tetap mematuhi protokol kesehatan dalam mencegah Covid-19 di Taman Kanak-Kanak Islam Integral Darul Fikri dengan metode sosialisai langsung dan demonstrasi. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa anak-anak memahami bagaimana cara mencegah tertular Covid-19, mampu memakai masker serta mencuci tangan dengan benar. Pihak sekolah maupun orang tua diharapkan tetap melakukan pengawasan dan mengingatkan anak dalam penerapan protokol kesehatan dan pembiasaan pola hidup baru.Kata kunci: Anak, Covid-19, Edukasi

Abstract

Background of Study: Th increasing number of hospitals has made the people to free choose services that match their expectations. The number of patient visits at the Outpatient Polyclinic of Bhayangkara Hospital Level III Pattern Bengkulu has decreased from 2016 to 2019. The decision to visit the community is influenced by how they perceive the stimuli they receive in the marketing mix consisting of Product, Price, Promotion and Place. This study aims to determine the relationship between client perceptions of the marketing mix with the decision to choose polyclinic services at Bhayangkara Hospital Level III, Bengkulu City Police.Methods: The research design was cross-sectional. The number of samples were 92 clients who used outpatient poly services taken by accidental sampling technique. The research was held from July to August 2019. The data analysis technique used Chi Square.Results: The results showed that 55.4% of respondents had a good perception of the hospital's marketing mix and 62% of respondents made the decision to re-elect outpatient polyclinic services. Bivariate analysis showed p value = 0.001 which means that there was a relationship between the client’s perception of the marketing mix on the decision to choose an outpatient polyclinic service at Bhayangkara Hospital Level III Bengkulu Police.Conclusion: There is relationship between the client’s perception of the marketing mix on the decision to choose an outpatient hospital polyclinic.Keywords : Marketing Mix, Decision, Election, Polyclinic
