Abstract

Building harmonious and peaceful interaction between communities of different religions, is necessary to change the theological paradigm; that is passive, textual, and exclusive, leading towards the theology of inclusive, mutual respect, mutual recognition of existence, thinking and being positive among others. The paradigm of plural education in the future is democratic education, this can only be realized in a democratic society, nation and country. By providing the opportunities for the implementation of harmony and peace. The author describes about the Comparison of Islamic Education with Non-Islam (comparative study in Madrasah Tsanawiyah As-Shiddiqi and Catholic Junior High Schools (SMP) in Pamekasan Regency). The different point of these two educational institutions is the allocation of lesson hour (JTM). In Islamic Education is 2 hours a week in each religious material including Fiqh, Al-Quran, Aqidah and SKI subjects. Whereas in Catholic education is only given about 2 lessons, and the other is the same as other general education. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan Untuk mengetahui konsep pendidikan Pondok Pesantren, bagaimana subkultur dan tata nilai, pola kepemimpinan dan kurikulum pondok pesantren menurut K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid. Adapun metode penelitian yang dipakai dalam penulisan skripsi ini adalah penelitian kualitatif artinya penelitian yang menggunakan data informasi berbagai macam teori yang diperoleh dari kepustakaan, baik itu diperoleh dari sumber data primer maupun data skunder. Berdasarkan deskripsi atas pemikiran KH. Abdurrahman Wahid  mengenai pendidikan Pondok Pesantren di atas, setelah  penulis  lakukan  analisis lebih mendalam dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa Pendidikan Pondok Pesantren ialah pendidikan yang didasarkan pada keyakinan religius dan bertujuan untuk membimbing atau menghantarkan peserta didik menjadi manusia yang utuh dan mandiri. Ada tiga elemen yang mampu membentuk pondok pesantren sebagai sebuah subkultur, yaitu: (1) pola kepemimpinan pondok pesantren yang mandiri dan tidak terkoptasi oleh negara, 2) literatur-literatur kitab-kitab kuning sebagai rujukan umum yang selalu digunakan dari berbagai abad, dan 3) sistem nilai yang digunakan adalah bagian dari masyarakat luas. Pola Kepemimpinan Pondok Pesantren bersifat Khirarki dan Kurikulum di pondok pesantren ditujukan untuk “mencetak” ulama di kemudian hari. Kata Kunci: Pemikiran Abdurrahman Wahid, Pondok Pesantren Abstract: This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the concept of Islamic boarding school education, how subcultures and values, leadership patterns and Islamic boarding school curriculum according to K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid. The research method used in writing this thesis is qualitative research, meaning research that uses information data on various theories obtained from the literature, whether it is obtained from primary data sources or secondary data. Based on the description of the thoughts of KH. Abdurrahman Wahid regarding Islamic Boarding School education above, after the author conducted a more in-depth analysis, it can be concluded that Islamic Boarding School Education is education based on religious beliefs and aims to guide or deliver students to become complete and independent human beings. There are three elements that are able to form Islamic boarding schools as a subculture, namely: (1) leadership patterns of Islamic boarding schools that are independent and not co-opted by the state, 2) yellow books literature as general references that are always used from various centuries, and 3. ) the value system used is part of the wider community. The pattern of Islamic boarding school leadership is hierarchical and the curriculum in Islamic boarding schools is intended to "print" ulama in the future. Keywords : Thoughts KH. Abstract

This study discusses the contribution of scholars and activists or former campus activists take an active role in building their respective regions. Since the Village Law was passed, many roles can be carried out in accelerating and equitable development between villages and cities. This research uses qualitative methods, namely research procedures that produce descriptive data in the form of written or oral words from people and observed behavior. The source of data in this study rests on human and non-human data sources. The research subject extra Campus activist students, HMI, PMII, GMNI, KAMMI and NGO in Pamekasan Regency. The results showed that Activist Strategy and Contribution to Build Villages in Pamekasan District served and returned to the village through the synergy of young people who had experience and insights on village development and welfare such as Karang Taruna, the establishment of BUMDes, the distribution of local tourism, the establishment of Small Micro Enterprises and Medium (UMKM), etc. The paradigm that needs to be built is actually activists creating opportunities and opportunities for employment, not looking for work.

Abstract

Modernization of Islamic education as an effort to achieve the ideal of Islamic education was done by Ahmad Madani (1970), a Muslim cleric. Negative connotation of modernization that firstly derived from West, shifted into renewal as it is accepted and appreciated as tajdid. Islamic education modernization occurred in a row of modernization of Islamic thought. In line with the enhancement pretension, an attempt to modernize traditional education that is identical to Muslim world specifically in Indonesia, modernization is needed to fix the practice of Islamic education.  This article is purposed to investigate the concepts and ideas of Ahmad Madani in modernizing his institution, Mu'allimin and confirms the relevance of his educational thought

Abstract

Keterbatasan sumber belajar menjadi salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, guru diharuskan mampu mengembangkan sumber belajar yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa dan gaya belajar siswa masa kini. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pada mata pelajaran fiqih, dan mengetahui dampak penggunaannya untuk meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) atau penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Dick and Carey. Responden penelitian ini adalah 17 siswa kelas V di MI Miftahul Ulum. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket validasi untuk mengukur tingkat validitas internal modul dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan modul terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa. Selain itu, peneliti juga menggunakan lembar observasi sebagai instrumen tambahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan penilaian para ahli, modul pembelajaran fiqih yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat validitas yang baik dan layak untuk digunakan. Disamping itu dari hasil angket dan observasi kepada siswa modul ini juga dinilai efektif untuk meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran fiqih. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan modul fiqih dinilai layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran fiqih untuk meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa kelas V MI Miftahul Ulum.

Abstract

Substantially, Islam and western culture have the same view about education. Both are oriented in personality and intellectual formation of children, namely the formation of intelligent personal morality. In Islam, the Qur’an, Hadith and Ijma ‘ulama as based in building the concept of education. While in the West understanding, that nationalism becomes fundamental footing. Each civilization has a different character, so that the products also have different characteristics. According to Hegel, as a representation of western figures, Education also defines as something real, transcendence, which is progressive from a subjective or negative, and depending on moral potential. To achieve a positive and essential moral (moral height), one must uphold universal moral and life in environment circles. Eventually, people will attain and gain virtue and moral absolute through education. It is not much different from the view of Ibn Sina as one of the People of Islamic Education assumed that between idealistic values with a view pragmatic. He combines learning materials or theories that children learn in school with jobs of interest. For Ibn Sina ‘, something which is very important thing to be done in the education system is to examine the level of intelligence, characteristics and talents of the children, and keep it in order to determine the favored choice for the future.

Abstract

Moh. Mahfud MD is an academic figure and role model that provides scientific insights for all components of citizens about the life of the nation and religion in the context of Indonesia. He is a charismatic figure that can be accepted in every class, moderate, inclusive and followed by a comprehensive analysis which always becomes a reference and responds to contemporary issues in the nation and religion. Polemic about the rise of khilafa>h in Indonesia, that the serious struggle to enforce formally Islamic law / Islamic law, has been done by the founding of our country (founding parents). In the end the agreement was to establish a nation state based on Pancasila. this agreement must be carried out consistently because it contains the values ​​and philosophical content of mîtsâqan ghalîzha (noble deal) and we must not betray it. The theory of 'political configuration' in the view of Mahfud MD is the dissemination of political energy to be able to incorporate the substantive values ​​of universal Islamic teachings into the formal law (positive law) prevailing in Indonesia. According to Moh. Mahfud MD that law is a political product, so the character of legal products is determined by the balance of political forces (political configuration) that gave birth. So Muslims should be able to sit in government institutions, both legislative, executive and judiciary.

Abstract

This paper discusses the contribution of PTKIN in the National Education arena, historically, the establishment of an Islamic College in Jakarta under the tutelage of K.H. Wahid Hasyim, Kahar Muzakkir and Bung Hatta. Likewise, the permissibility of ulama and nationalist leaders formed the ranks of the Defenders of the Motherland (PETA) and facilitated various activities of Muslims in the public and national sector. The entry of PTKIN cadres into the realm of bureaucracy such as the legislative body (Prof. Dr. KH Ali Maschan Moesa, M.Sc) Regional Representative Council (Prof. Dr. Hj. Istibjaroh, MA) Director General of Islamic Education Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia (Prof. Dr. Nur Syam, M.Sc) made a major contribution to institutional progress. Innovations and new ideas by strengthening institutions through the development of general study programs in order to meet the demands of the times, the flow of globalization and respond to the needs of the community with the orientation that with the opening of general study programs, there will be integration of science and religion which are inseparable intellectual heritage of Muslims. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the model of moral education in an effort to shape the spirituality offemale students at TMI Al-Amien Prenduan, and what are the factors that cause violations ofreligious norms by these female students. By using descriptive qualitative techniques, datacollection techniques through field methods, observations, interviews and observations werecarried out as an initial meeting to collect data. The results showed that the moral and spiritualstrengthening of female students using the Tadzkira model with an acronym explanation or anabbreviation of T = tunjukan teladan, A = arahkan (berikan bimbingan) D = dorongan (denganmemberikan motivasi dan nasehat-nasehat). Z = zakiyah (murni-suci-bersih) K = kontinuitas(pembiasaan dalam berbuat, bersikap dan bertindak) I = ingatkan (mengingatkan dalam segala halyang melenceng dari syari’at islam) R = pengulangan. A = aplikasikan (mempraktekkan dikehidupan sehari-hari)..Kata Kunci: Pendidikan, Akhlak, Spiritualitas.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the implementation of multicultural education at TMI for Female Al-Amien Prenduan which is describe the multicultural condition, the implementation of multicultural education and the supporting and inhibiting factors from the implementation of multicultural education at TMI for Female Al-Amien Prenduan. By using descriptive qualitative techniques, data collection techniques through field methods, observations, interviews and observations were carried out as an initial meeting to collect data. The results showed that the implementation of multicultural education was already diverse with the presence student with the different backgrounds, ethnicties, regions and languages which combined with official languages, Arabic and English. The implementation can be seen from the replacement of various female students in different hostel interacting  with each other. And the suporting factors was a system that has exited since the beginning, and the inhibiting factor was a student fanaticism. Kata Kunci: Implementasi, Pendidikan, Multikultural.
