Abstract

PRACTICE OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT CONSULTING AT PT. BORLINDO MANDIRI JAYA. The purpose of writing this paper is to describe the report on consultative activities as part of community service activities carried out by students in the S2 program to automotive companies in Makassar. The company that is a client is a company that feels there is a problem in the scope of human resource management. The approach taken in community service activities is consultative, where students act as consultants and provide suggestions on what companies should do. The writing method is also used to support this activity, and in this case, the writer uses a survey approach whose purpose is to see a description of employee perceptions about organizational commitment and desire to leave the company. The results obtained are employee perceptions of organizational commitment and the desire to get out quite well, and the authors propose several things that can be pursued by the company.

Abstract

Companies in the service industry are trying to make changes to meet the needs of the company and the needs of customers. Over the last few years, Total Quality Management has been developed and is one way to provide various changes in improving the quality of relationships with consumers. The purpose of this research is to find out what factors influence the implementation of Total Quality Management in the service industry using a systematic literature review (SLR). Search databases and article sources using the Harzing's Publish or Perish application. Database sources vary from Science Direct, Emerald, Springer, SSRN Papers, Growing Science, Cogentoa, Research Gate and Academia. Meanwhile, the keyword to search the database is Total Quality Management and Service Industry. After the SLR process was carried out to the previous studies that fulfill criteria of the keywords, there were 5 factors that were mentioned the most in almost all studies: top management commitment, continuous improvement, focus on customers, training and education as well as employee management and involvement.

Abstract

Through this article, researcher seek to explore employee performance as it is assumed affected by transformational leadership, psychological ownership and organizational commitment. Concepts to explain the phenomena are elaborated from each of keywords mentioned; transformational leadership, employee performance, psychological ownership and organizational commitment. Our research model is multivariate, therefore we use SMARTPLS as our analytical tool. Findings of this research shows that only organization commitment support employee performance in the given data. We conclude that our research shows that in specific respondent profile, employee performance is perceived affected by organizational commitment not by transformational leadership nor psychological ownership.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the work environment's dynamics, work experience, job characteristics, and managerial competencies affect managerial competence. The literature that this research refers to primarily uses the concept of competence and other concepts relevant to the study's discussion. This research method is through a quantitative approach, data collection through distributing questionnaires to 279 respondents who work in mining companies in Indonesia, and data processing using SPSS concerning the regression value to determine whether the research hypothesis is proven or not. This study indicates that work environment, work experience, and job characteristics affect managerial competence.

Abstract

The goal of this research was to determine the influence of training and motivation on productivity, supposing that competence acts as a mediator. A variety of literatures are reviewed, including those on topics such as competence, training, motivation, and productivity, and a number of past studies are cited to demonstrate the relevance of connecting the aspects thought to effect employee productivity. This research employs a quantitative method with the Ministry of Education and Culture, subsequently referred to as Kemendikbud, in the general bureau and the purchase of goods and services as the subject of study. This study employs a structural model, which leads in a variety of research findings, including the following: training has been shown to impact competence, and competence has been shown to effect production. Then, using competence as a mediator of the influence of training on production, got findings.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of competence and compensation on employee performance, as well as to analyze moderate compensation between competence and employee performance. This type of quantitative research uses a case study method, a population of 102 employees with a total sampling technique so that the sample size is 102 employees. Data processing techniques using smart PLS. Research has shown that competence has an impact on employee performance. Employee performance can also be influenced by compensation and compensation can moderate competence with employee performance, performance can be supported by good compensation, it will improve performance.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to see the impact that safety performance can have on technical competencies, non-technical competencies, technical training and non-technical training Design/methodology/approach: The research method referred to in this study is quantitative research, and the object of this research is PT. Pamapersada Nusantara, further using 89 respondents as a research sample, refers to the structural equational modelling model. Findings: The results showed that the respondents considered that technical training had nothing to do with safety performance, while other hypotheses were proven. Research limitations/implications: Although we found that technical competency and non-technical competency influence safety performance, it still need further exploration in order to explore other factors that influence safety performance; also, there will be a necessity for research to explore within mining companies Practical implications: The managerial implication of this research is that the company can evaluate the technical training implemented, which is related to the readiness of the instructor, the implementation of classroom learning activities, simulator activities, field practice activities, the content of the material following the training objectives, and the benefits felt by employees who have attended technical training. Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed to see how well-formulated organizational learning, organizational culture, and employee well-being impact better employer branding. The literature used to help build this research model is through concepts related to the four aforementioned variables. Design/methodology/approach: This study uses a quantitative research approach, distributing surveys for data collection and conducting analysis with a structural model approach Findings: The results obtained from this study are that employer branding is driven by organizational culture and employee well-being, while organizational learning does not affect it. Research limitations/implications: This research need more exploration due to the research object Practical implications: The implication of this research may show insights from employee’s perspectives on employer branding. Abstract

Tujuan dari dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari cara pandang calon pengguna aplikasi co-working space menggunakan model penerimaan teknologi dan pendekatan perilaku berencana dari Ajzen. Pustaka yang diacu dalam penelitian ini adalah konsep-konsep yang relevan untuk mengilustrasikan tujuan penelitian, yakni terkait konsep perilaku dan konsep penerimaan teknologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan populasi yang diketahui, dan sampel yang , namun sampel diasumsikan memenuhi kriteria sampel secara teoretis, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner, dan data yang diperoleh diolah menggunakan teknik analisis partial least square. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada persepsi kemudahan penggunaan tidak memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap persepsi kegunaan, demikian juga tentang persepsi perilaku yang dikendalikan tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap niatan berperilaku di kalangan calon pengguna aplikasi. Penelitian ini memiliki implikasi bahwa cara pandang yang dimiliki oleh calon pengguna aplikasi co-working space adalah, persepsi kemudahan penggunaan, persepsi kenyamanan, persepsi kegunaan dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap niat untuk menggunakan

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore the influence of situational leadership and corporate culture on employee engagement. The phenomenon that will be raised is among millennials who work in State-Owned Enterprises. The literature review used to build the research hypothesis is the theories related to situational leadership, corporate culture and employee engagement. The research method referred to to explore this research phenomenon is a quantitative approach, and uses a hypothesis analysis technique with regression (both linear and multiple). The results obtained indicate that all proposed hypotheses are proven. The implication of this research is to show that millennials still have the view that employee engagement is influenced by the role of situational leadership and corporate culture.
