Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran sistem peredaran darah bersuplemen artikel dan menguji pengaruhnya terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Pengembangan produk dilaksanakan di Jurusan Biologi FMIPA Universitas Negeri Semarang. Uji skala terbatas dilakukan di SMA Teuku Umar Semarang dan uji skala luas dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Semarang pada semester genap 2013/2014. Uji pengaruh model pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar menggunakan only post test control group design. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik convenience sampling, sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan kelas XI MIA 2 dan kelas eksperimen menggunakan kelas XI MIA 10. Data hasil belajar berupa skor post test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model pembelajaran memperoleh skor sangat layak; skor kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran adalah layak; dan skor keterlaksanaan model yaitu sedang. Uji-t menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol (thitung > ttabel). Berdasarkan hasil pengembangan dan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran sistem peredaran darah bersuplemen artikel yang dikembangkan layak dan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar.  This study aimed to develop model of teaching on circulation system suplemented by article and  examine the effect of it on student learning achievement. The process of product development was conducted at Departement of Biologycal Science, Semarang State University. The trials of small-scale products was carried out in SMA Teuku Umar Semarang and the trials of large-scale products was carried out in SMA Negeri 1 Semarang at second semester 2013/2014. The testing effect model of teaching on learning achievement used only post test control group design. Sample was taken with convenience sampling technique, whereas control class used XI MIA 2 and eksperiment class used XI MIA 10. The data about learning achievement are form score of post test. The result showed that models of teaching get score of advisability are very feasible; score advisability of teaching device are feasible; and score sustainability of teaching model are middle. T-test showed that there are significant difference between eksperiment class with control class (thitung > ttabel). Based on the result of research and development, it could be concluded that model of teaching on circulation system suplemented by article developed feasible and have effect significant it on learning achievement.

Abstract

The change of curriculum raises a number of perceptions which can be devided into two classifications, namely: the affirmative (pros) and the negative (cons). However, there is only a little information about teachers’ perceptions itself. The teachers’ perceptions influence on learning behaviors that are important in determining the success of a curriculum innovation. This research aims to describe the perceptions or the beliefs of Biology teachers to the 2013 Curriculum. This research was a survey to all grade X Biology teachers that conducted at several high schools in Semarang during the second semester of academic year 2012/2013. The total sample was determined by the Isaac and Michael’s formula and they were taken randomly. The data were taken using the instrument of psychological scale questionaire about high school Biology teachers’ perceptions to the 2013 Curriculum. The results showed that 60% of high school Biology teachers in Semarang had a strong belief in the 2013 Curriculum and 40% of the teachers have a moderate belief. The teachers believed that 2013 Curriculum had its benefits, easily implemented and the teachers were able to implement the curriculum.Perubahan kurikulum menimbulkan dua pendapat, yaitu pendapat yang setuju (pro) dan pendapat yang menolak (kontra). Namun, masih sedikit informasi mengenai persepsi atau beliefs dari guru biologi sendiri. Persepsi guru berpengaruh pada perilaku pembelajarannya yang penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan suatu inovasi kurikulum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi atau beliefs guru biologi SMA terhadap Kurikulum 2013.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei yang dilakukan terhadap guru biologi SMA kelas X se-Kota Semarang pada Semester Genap tahun ajaran 2012/2013. Jumlah sampel ditentukan dengan rumus Isaac dan Michael dan sampel diambil secara acak. Data diambil menggunakan instrumen kuesioner skala psikologi tentang persepsi guru biologi SMA terhadap Kurikulum 2013. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 60%  guru biologi di SMA se-Kota Semarang memiliki tingkat persepsi yang tinggi terhadap Kurikulum 2013 dan 40% memiliki tingkat persepsi sedang. Guru meyakini bahwa Kurikulum 2013 memiliki manfaat, mudah dilaksanakan dan guru mampu untuk melaksanakan kurikulum.

Abstract

Student worksheets are integral parts of instructional models by which teachers create particular tasks to involve students in inquiry processes and character deveopment. This study was aimed at developing and field-testing the use of character-based biology worksheet on student achievement. It belonged to Research and Development with Pre-test Post-test Nonequivalent Control Group Design as field-testing design. Sample was collected by convenience sampling technique. T-test results showed significant difference between treated and non-treatedgroups (tcount > ttable). Simple linear regression test results showed that implementation of the character-based worksheet brought a significant effect on student achievement, namely post-test scores (probability sig.<0.05; r square 0.72) and affective score (probability sig.< 0.05; r square 0.62). The conclusion of this research was that character-based worksheet implementation had significant effect on student achievement. Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) merupakan bagian integral dari suatu model pembelajaran pilihan guru, namun belum  tentu tugas pada LKS  mendorong siswa terlibat dalam proses inkuiri biologi yang mendorong penanaman karakter, sementara itu, obyek dan fenomena ekosistem berpotensi untuk penanaman karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan menguji pengaruh LKS berbasis karakter terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development dengan pola Pre-test Post-test Nonequivalent Control Group Design yang diterapkan pada kelas VIIC sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIID sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Hasil uji T menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol (thitung > ttabel). Uji regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan bahwa penerapan LKS berbasis karakter berpengaruh terhadap nilai hasil belajar, yaitu skor post-test (nilai sig.< 0.05; r Square 0,72) dan skor afektif (nilai sig.< 0.05; r Square 0,62). Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah LKS berbasis karakter berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Abstract SMP Negeri 9 Magelang has implemented the pilot curriculum 2013 and the students’ habit of critical thinking in science was put as major emphasis. Thinking habits in science   is not automically easy to be implemented, and need some preparations. This study aimed to describe thinking habits of students during their learning. Survey method was implemented during the academic year 2014/2015. The science material learned was physical quantities. Data of the implemented scientific approach in science was gathered by observation sheets and questionnaires. The critical thinking habit in science was measured with questionnaire instrument of critical thinking. The population was all of grade VII students.  Sample was collected by convenience sampling technique, and grade VII B class was treated as a research sample. The data was analysed by descriptive methods. Research result showed that the  implementation of scientific approach in  science procces, on topic ‘physical quantities’ was conducted with syntact as follows : (1) students observed an orange tree picture, continued with reading  the words table of physical quantities; (2) students  asked a questions about the quantities definition; (3) students did not yet  indicate  ‘reasoning activities’  (4) students did not yet  involved in the experiment activities by student, and (5) students  presented their  understanding of  physical quantities. Student habits of critical thinking was obviously indicated by 65% students (1) conducted repetition when gathering data; (2) used the references when sharing opinions; (3) used the correct practicum tools; (4) carefully interpreted the data related; and by 70% students (1) accommodated the suggestion before giving an agreement (2) took a side in right opinion (3) asked the deep explanation to teachers (4) made the hypotesis more than one. Students presented their open thinking and carefulness in collecting reliable information. The management of science teaching was expected to be focussed on the development of high level thinking capability.   Abstrak SMP N 9 Magelang telah menerapkan ujicoba kurikulum 2013 dan kebiasaan berpikir kritis siswa saat pembelajaran IPA merupakan penekanan kurikulum 2013. Pembiasaan berpikir pada pendekatan scientific tidak mudah, menantang, dan membutuhkan persiapan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebiasaan berpikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran IPA sesuai kurikulum 2013 yang menerapkan pendekatan scientific di SMP N 9 Magelang. Metode survei dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 9 Magelang pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Topik IPA yang dipelajari adalah Besaran Fisika. Data tentang penerapan pendekatan scientific dalam pembelajaran IPA dikumpulkan dengan lembar observasi dan angket kerterlaksanaan. Kebiasaan berpikir kritis dalam IPA diukur dengan instrumen kuesioner berpikir kritis. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP N 9 Magelang. Penarikan sampel dilakukan secara convenience sampling dan siswa kelas VII B sebagai sampel penelitian. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan scientific pada proses pembelajaran IPA, topik Besaran Fisika berlangsung mengikuti sintak: (1) siswa mengamati gambar pohon jeruk yang dilanjutkan dengan membaca tabel kata-kata besaran fisika; (2) siswa mengajukan pertanyaan  tentang definisi intensitas cahaya dan guru menjawab, kemudian guru memberikan pertanyaan definisi besaran; (3)  belum terlihat kegiatan menalar saat pembelajaran; (4)  belum terlihat  kegiatan percobaan yang dilakukan oleh siswa;  dan (5) siswa mempresentasikan pemahamannya tentang besaran fisika. Kebiasaan berpikir kritis siswa terlihat jelas, saat  65% siswa  (1) melakukan pengulangan saat pengumpulan data; (2) menggunakan referensi dalam berpendapat; (3) menggunakan alat praktikum yang sesuai; (4) menginterprestasi keterkaitan data; dan saat 70% siswa (1) menampung saran sebelum menyetujui; (2) berpihak pada pendapat yang lebih benar; (3) meminta penjelasan lebih lanjut kepada guru; dan (4) membuat hipotesis lebih dari satu. Siswa menunjukkan pemikiran terbuka dan siswa memiliki ketelitian dalam mengumpulkan informasi yang terpercaya. Pengelolaan pembelajaran IPA diharapkan berfokus pada pengembangan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi lainnya.

Abstract

This study was aimed at developing and determining the effect of the implementation of the entrepreneur-based practicum module on student’s achievement and entrepreneurial interest. This research was Research and Development with pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design on X.9(experimental group) and X.10( control group). The subject studied was biodiversity. Sample was collected by a convenience sampling technique. Data were analyzed by t-test and simple linear regression test. The findings showed that the implementation of the entrepreneur-based practicum module were high (score 6). T-test result showed that there was a significant difference between both group (tcount>ttable). Simple linear regression test showed that the implementation of  the entrepreneur-based practicum module brought a significant effect on student’s achievement (probability sig.<0.05; r square 0,769). Simple linear regression test indicated that there was an effect of implementation of the entrepreneur-based practicum module on student’s entrepreneurial interest (probability sig.<0.05; r Square 0,814). Correlation test showed that strong correlation between student’s entrepreneurial interest and achievement about 82,2% (probability sig.<0.05). The conclusion of this research was that the implementation of the entrepreneur-based practicum module had a significant effect on student’s achivement and entrepreneurial interest.. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan menguji pengaruh modul praktikum berbasis kewirausahaan terhadap hasil belajar dan minat wirausaha siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development dengan pola pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design pada kelas X.9 (kelas eksperimen) dan X.10 (kelas kontrol) pada materi keanekaragaman hayati. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik convenience sampling.Data penelitian berupa pengaruh penerapan modul praktikum berbasis kewirausahaan dengan minat wirausaha siswa. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data dengan uji t dan uji regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan modul praktikum berbasis kewirausahaan tergolong tinggi (skor 6). Hasil uji t menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol (thitung>ttabel). Uji regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan bahwa penerapan modul praktikum berbasis kewirausahaan berpengaruh terhadap nilai hasil belajar (nilai sig.<0.05; r Square 0,769). Uji regresi linier sederhana mengindikasikan bahwa ada pengaruh penerapan modul praktikum berbasis kewirausahaan dengan minat wirausaha siswa (nilai sig.<0.05; r Square 0,814). Uji korelasi menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang kuat antara minat wirausaha dan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 82,2% (nilai sig.<0.05). Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan modul praktikum berbasis kewirausahaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar dan minat wirausaha siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh model guided inquiry berbantuan fishbone diagram terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem pencernaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Quasi Experimental Design dengan menggunakan pola non randomized control group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Ambarawa, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII B (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas VIII C (kelas kontrol). Data keterlaksanaan model guided inquiry berbantuan fishbone diagram diperoleh melalui angket tanggapan yang diisi oleh siswa. Data hasil belajar dalam ranah kognitif siswa dikumpulkan dari tes materi sistem pencernaan, ranah psikomotorik dan ranah afektif diperoleh melalui lembar observasi. Data motivasi belajar siswa diperoleh melalui angket skala psikologi siswa. Hasil uji hipotesis pengaruh model guided inquiry berbantuan fishbone diagram terhadap motivasi belajar siswa diperoleh nilai χ2= 32,00 dengan p < 0,05 (p = 0,010) dan pengaruh model guided inquiry berbantuan fishbone diagram terhadap hasil belajar siswa diperoleh χ2= 20,67 dengan p < 0,05 (p = 0,014). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model guided inquiry berbantuan fishbone diagram berpengaruh terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar.   This research aimed to examine the effect of guided inquiry models with fishbone diagram on students’s motivation and learning achievement on the subject of digestive system. This research was Quasi Experimental Design. The design of this research was non randomized control group pretest posttest. The population in this research was all students, VIII grade class at SMP Negeri 1 Ambarawa, VIII B grade class was treated as experimental class and VIII C as control class. Questionare was used to collect data of  the implementation level guided inquiry models with fishbone diagram. Test was used to collect data of students learning achivement on cognitive, psychomotoric domains while affective domains were  collected by observation. Psychology scale was used to collect data of students motivation. The hypothesis result of the influence of guided inquiry models with fishbone diagram toward upon students learning motivation was χ2= 32,00 with p < 0,05 (p = 0,010) and the influence guided inquiry models with fishbone diagram toward students learning achievement was χ2= 20,67 with p < 0,05 (p = 0,014). The model guided inquiry with fishbone diagram toward had significant effect upon students’ learning motivation and achievement.

Abstract

Abstract ___________________________________________________________________The purpose of this study was to describe  biology teacher candidates’  attitudes toward teaching professions after their involvement in PPG SM-3T ‘Pendidikan Profesi Guru-Sarjana Mengajar di daerah terluar, terdepan dan tertinggal’, a pilot model of professional  teacher education  in  which teacher candidates  were  to finish two major training programs, a one-year social service program for rural and remote schools as part of character buildings and a one-year at campus professional teacher education as part of academic strengthening programs. A survey design was implemented on all 28 PPG SM-3T participants of first batch, as the entire population of interest. A questionnaire of 30 items was administered on the basis of the component of attitude and distributed to all participants. They were asked to express their belief and attitude toward the four key domains of teacher competencies (pedagogical, personal, social and professional capabilities) as stipulated by the Indonesia Ministry of National Education Decree Number 16 Year 2007. The results showed that a considerable part of the participants (96%) indicated that they had positive professional attitudes toward teachers as profession. Almost 96% of them showed positive attitudes towards pedagogical and professional capabilities, 89% and 93% of them also indicated they had positive attitudes towards personal and social competencies.Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan sikap profesional calon guru biologi terhadap profesi guru setelah terlibat dalam program Pendidikan Profesi Guru Sarjana Mengajar di daerah Terluar, Terdepan dan Tertinggal (PPG SM-3T). Program ini merupakan suatu model yang menuntun calon guru untuk menjadi pendidik  profesional dengan cara menyelesaikan dua pelatihan utama yang terprogram, yakni satu tahun melaksanakan program pengabdian di sekolah daerah 3T sebagai suatu cara membentuk karakter ke-Indonesia-an dan satu tahun melaksanakan  program pendidikan profesi guru di kampus yang merupakan bagian dari penguatan bidang akademik. Metode yang digunakan ialah survey design. Survei dilakukan kepada seluruh peserta PPG SM-3T sebanyak 28 peserta pada angkatan pertama dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa skala sikap. Aitem yang terdapat pada skala sikap sebanyak 30 yang disusun berdasarkan komponen pembentuk sikap dan dibagikan kepada seluruh peserta. Peserta diminta untuk menyatakan kesetujuan/ ketidak setujuannya pada setiap pernyataan yang telah disusun berdasarkan keempat kompetensi guru yang harus dimiliki oleh seorang pendidik. Keempat kompetensi tersebut tertuang dalam Peratuan Pemerintah No 16 Tahun 2007. Hasil yang didapatkan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta (96%) memiliki sikap profesional positif terhadap profesi guru. Hampir 96% peserta menunjukkan sikap yang positif terhadap kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional, kompetensi kepribadian mencapai 89% dan kompetensi sosial sebesar 93%.

Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA di SMP Negeri 13 Magelang selama ini belum menerapkan pembelajaran bervisi konservasi dengan pendekatan scientific skill. Pembelajaran masih menggunakan metode ceramah sehingga kurang aplikatif dan kurang memotivasi siswa dalam belajar Hal ini menyebabkan karakter konservasi siswa belum berkembang dengan baik. Oleh sebab itu perlu dikembangkan perangkat pembelajaran biologi bervisi konservasi dengan pendekatan scientific skill melalui pengolahan sampah organik di sekolah dan menguji efektifitas serta kepraktisan perangkat pembelajaran untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai konservasi siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan menganalisis kebutuhan kemudian mengembangkan produk dan diuji validitas, efektivitas, dan kepraktisanya hingga diperoleh produk final. Produk yang dikembangkan adalah perangkat pembelajaran bervisi konservasi  dengan pendekatan scientific skill yang  meliputi silabus, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), bahan ajar, lembar diskusi siswa (LDS), dan lembar penilaian scientific skill. Hasil penelitian berupa perangkat pembelajaran IPA materi lingkungan hidup bervisi konservasi dengan pendekatan scientific skill pada pengolahan sampah organik di sekolah cukup valid, praktis dan efektif untuk diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan rata-rata respon siswa 97,57% atau sangat baik,  rata-rata nilai  scientific skills siswa  3,53 atau baik, hasil  t-test menunjukkan sig = 0,001 = 0,1% < 5 % dan nilai rata-rata  konservasi siswa sebesar 89,43 berada dalam kategori sangat baik.   Science teaching learning at Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri  13 Magelang at present has not applied yet the conservation  vision, using scientific skill approaches. Teaching learning process still uses lecturing methods, consequently it is not applicative and motivating students. It also makes student conservation character is not developed yet. Because of the needs, this study was aimed at developing science teaching tools grounded in conservation using scientific skill approaches through student activity ‘making compost’ at schools, and  testing its effectiveness and practicability, in terms of  student conservation values.  The method used is research and development by analyzing needs and then develop products and test their validity, effectiveness, and convenience to the final product obtained. products developed are learning devices visionary approach to conservation with scientific skills include syllabi, lesson plans, teaching materials, sheet student discussions, and scientific skills assessment sheet. The results of the research are: the science learning device of living space in conservational vision using scientific skill approach is valid, practice and effective to apply in teaching learning process. The result of the experiment shows the average of students responses 97. 57% (very good), the average of students scientific skill values 3.53 (good), The result of T-test shows sig = 0.001 = 0.1%< 5% and The average of students conservation values 89.43 in very good category.

Abstract

Madrasah Aliyah menekankan pembelajaran yang merujuk pada hukum Islam. Kenyataan di lapangan bahan ajar yang digunakan belum bernuansa islami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bahan ajar yang selama ini digunakan dalam pembelajaran biologi, mengetahui perlunya pengembangan buku saku bernuansa islami, mendeskripsikan karakteristik pengembangan buku saku bernuansa islami, serta menguji kelayakan dan efektifitas buku saku. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan rancangan penelitian Research and Development (R&amp;D). Hasil penilaian ahli media, ahli materi biologi dan ahli materi agama menunjukkan bahwa buku saku bernuansa islami materi sistem reproduksi manusia sangat layak, dengan nilai kelayakan berturut-turut sebesar 97,08%; 91,78% dan 97,2%. Tanggapan siswa pada uji coba buku saku sebesar 98,75%. &nbsp;Tanggapan guru terhadap buku saku mencapai 100%.&nbsp; Persentase penanaman pendidikan karakter&nbsp; berkisar antara 90,6-91,04. N-Gain dari kedua sekolah mencapai 0,7. Ketuntasan belajar klasikal siswa berkisar antara 89,7%-92%.&nbsp; Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku saku bernuansa islami materi sistem reproduksi manusia layak dan efektif sebagai bahan ajar. The reality in field of&nbsp; learning material used yet nuanced islamic.The purposes of&nbsp; this research are to identify the material of study that we used in biology, to know how important the develop of pocket book islamic nuanced, &nbsp;to description &nbsp;the characteristic to develop pocket book islamic nuanced, and to know feasibility and effectivity of&nbsp; pocket book islamic nuanced. This research design was Research and Development (R &amp; D). The results assessment of media specialist, materials biology specialist and &nbsp;materials religion specialist showed that a pocket book islamic nuanced about human reproductive system was well worth&nbsp; the feasibility percentage, respectively for 97,08%; 91,78% and 97,2%. The response of students &nbsp;on product trial was 98,75%. The response of&nbsp; teacher on product trial was 100%. The Percentage of cultivation character education on product trial was 90,6-91,04%. N-gain from both schools reached 0,7. Student classical learning completeness obtained 89,7-92%. Based on that research, we can conclude that pocket book islamic nuanced about human reproductive system are feasible an effective for use as a learning materials
