Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media komik terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak pada materi tata nama senyawa kimia. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperimental Design dengan rancangan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XA dan XB yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan analisis data posttest menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney, diperoleh nilai Sig. sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 artinya terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan media komik dengan siswa yang belajar tanpa menggunakan media komik. Penggunaan media komik memberikan pengaruh sebesar 27,04% terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada materi tata nama senyawa kimia.   Kata Kunci: Media Komik, Tata Nama Senyawa   Abstract: This research was conducted to know the effect using media of comic toward learning outcomes tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak in the material chemical compounds nomenclature. Type of research is a Quasi-Experimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The samples were determined using purposive sampling technique. Based on the posttest data analysis using the Mann-Whitney test, Sig values obtained at 0.000 < 0.05 that means there are differences in learning outcomes between students who learn to use media of comic with students who learn without using media of comic. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diberi direct corrective feedback pada pekerjaan rumah dengan siswa tanpa pemberian direct corrective feedback pada pekerjaan rumah dan mengetahui besarnya pengaruh pemberian direct corrective feedback pada pekerjaan rumah terhadap hasil belajar dalam materi termokimia kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian ?Nonequivalent Control Group Design?. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling, dan dipilih siswa kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol serta XI IPA  3 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar. Analisis data menggunakan uji U-Mann Whitney menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diberi direct corrective feedback dengan siswa tanpa pemberian direct corrective feedback pekerjaan rumah. Berdasarkan nilai effect size, direct corrective feedback memberikan pengaruh sebesar 44,29% terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Kata kunci: Direct Corrective Feedback, Pekerjaan Rumah   Abstract: This research aims to determine whether there is any differences in learning result between students who were given direct corrective feedback with students who were not given direct corrective feedback on homework and determine direct corrective feedback?s effect againts learning result in the material thermochemical grade XI IPA SMA Negeri 10 Pontianak. The form research that used was quasi-experimental with research design was "Nonequivalent Control Group Design". Sampling using random sampling technique, and selected students of grade XI IPA 1 as the control class and XI IPA 3 as the experimental class. Instruments of data used in this study is the learning result. Data analysis used U-Mann Whitney test showed that there were differences learning result between students who were given direct corrective feedback with students who were not given direct corrective feedback on homework. Based on value of effect size, direct corrective feedback gave 44.29% effect on increased student learning result. Keyword: Direct Corrective Feedback, Homework

Abstract

                                    AbstractThe purposes of this research are to; (1) determine the differences in learning outcomes between  students who taught by TSTS cooperative model assisted with students? worksheet and the students who taught by conventional model; (2) to determine the influence of TSTS cooperative model toward learning outcomes on reaction rate materials. This research is a quasi experimental using nonequivalent control group design. Saturation sampling is the sampling method that will be conducted in this research. Data collecting technique that will be conducted are scaling, observation and interview. While the instrument of the research are learning tests outcomes, observation sheets and interview guidance. Based on statistic data analysis using Mann Whitney U as ? = 0,05, resulting sig score 0,014 < 0,05 which means there is a  differences in learning outcomes between  students who taught by TSTS cooperative model assisted with students? worksheet and the students who taught by conventional model.  The use of TSTS cooperative  model of students? worksheet gave influences 24, 22% to the students learning outcomes on reaction rate materials.  Keywords:       Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS), Students? worksheets, Learning outcomes, Reaction rate

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk miskonsepsi dan penyebab miskonsepsi siswa kelas XII SMA Negeri 1 Sambas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 27 orang siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 14 bentuk miskonsepsi siswa meliputi sub konsep pengertian reduksi dan oksidasi berdasarkan pelepasan dan pengikatan elektron, pengertian reduksi dan oksidasi berdasarkan perubahan bilangan oksidasi, penentuan bilangan oksidasi unsur, menentukan persamaan reaksi reduksi dan oksidasi berdasarkan pelepasan dan pengikatan oksigen, penentuan persamaan reaksi reduksi dan oksidasi berdasarkan pelepasan dan penangkapan elektron, penentuan persamaan reaksi reduksi dan oksidasi berdasarkan perubahan bilangan oksidasi, reduktor dan oksidator, serta tata nama dan rumus kimia senyawa yang melibatkan bilangan oksidasi. Penyebab miskonsepsi siswa adalah pemikiran asosiatif siswa, prakonsepsi yang salah, intuisi yang salah, dan kemampuan siswa.   Kata kunci : miskonsepsi siswa, penyebab miskonsepsi, reduksi oksidasi   Abstract: This research aims to determine types of misconception and cause of misconception in grade XII SMA Negeri 1 Sambas. The research method that used descriptive. The research sample which had been used was 27 students. The result of research showed that there were 14 types of student misconception, consist of definition of reduction oxidation based on gain and loss of electron, definition of reduction oxidation based on oxidation number, determine oxidation number, determine reduction oxidation equation based on gain and loss of oxygent, reduction oxidation equation based on gain and loss of electron, reduction oxidation based on oxidation number change, reducing and oxidizing agent, determine nomenclature and formula of chemistry compound that involving oxidation number. Cause of student misconception in grade XII SMA Negeri 1 Sambas were mind-association, praconception error, intuition error, and student capability. Abstract

Judul penelitian ini adalah Pengaruh penggunaan buku ajar ikatan ionik dengan pendekatan multirepresentasi terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan buku ajar ikatan ionik dengan pendekatan multirepresentasi terhadap prestasi belajar siswa kelas XI IPA SMA se-Kota Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental design dengan rancangan penelitian OneGroup Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 36 siswa kelas XI IPA dari SMAN 3 Pontianak, SMAN 4 Pontianak, dan SMAN 9 Pontianak. Data prestasi belajar siswa dianalisis menggunakan statistik non-parametrik uji Wilcoxon. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya pengaruh penggunaan buku ajar ikatan ionik dengan pendekatan multirepresentasi terhadap prestasi belajar siswa baik siswa di SMAN 3 Pontianak, SMAN 4 Pontianak, dan SMAN 9 Pontianak dengan nilai sig. masing-masing 0,002; 0,002; dan 0,009 pada tingkat signifikasi yang ditetapkan ? = 0,05. Kata kunci: buku ajar, multirepresentasi, ikatan ionik, prestasi belajar. Abstract: The title of this research is "The effect of using the ionic bond textbook with multiple-representation approach on students achievement". The aims of this research is to know the effect of using the ionic bond textbook with multiple-representation approach on students achievement at XIst IPA in Pontianak. The forms of this research is a pre-experimental design with design One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample were 36 students of XIst IPA in SMAN 3 Pontianak, SMAN 4 Pontianak, and SMAN 9 Pontianak. Student achievement data were analyzed using nonparametric statistic Wilcoxon-Test. The analysis result showed the effect of using the textbook about ionic bonds with multiple representation approach on student achievement both students of SMAN 3 Pontianak, SMAN 4 Pontianak, and SMAN 9 Pontianak with significance score respectively 0.002, 0.002, and 0.009 level of significance set at ? = 0.05. Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to determine misconception of studentand to describe the causes of the misconceptin in atoms, molecules, and ions material on grade VIII F SMPN 21 Pontianak.. This reaserch type is qualitative research with descriptive method. The sample that used is 37 students. The instrument of this research was diagnostic test that organized as multiple choice with three answer alternative. The instrument used reason accompanied by Certainty of Response Index (CRI) and interview to students who misconception about atoms, molecules, and ions. Research result showed that misconception found in definition of atom by Thomson theory (78,4%), kinds of molecules (8,1%), relation of electron configuration and ions (21,6%), ions determination (21,6%), monoatomic (16,2%), poliatomic (83,8%), positive ions (8,1%) and negative ions (5,4%). According result of research that mean of student who misconception 24,32%. The most common misconceptions is polyatomic ions concept. These result show that the student’s misconceptions happened because of assosiative thinking student, intuition thinking, and ability of student with percentage are 4,38%, 34,21% and 61,4%.Keywords: misconception, certainty of response index (CRI), diagnostic test

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan kartu domino kimia dengan siswa yang diajarkan tanpa menggunakan kartu domino kimia dan mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh pembelajaran kimia dengan menggunakan media kartu domino kimia terhadap hasil belajar materi koloid kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Sekadau Hilir. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sebanyak 31 siswa dari kelas XI IPA 1 dan 32 siswa dari kelas XI IPA 2 berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Analisis data menggunakan uji U-Mann Whitney menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar dan motivasi antara siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan kartu domino kimia dengan siswa yang diajarkan tanpa menggunakan kartu domino kimia. Berdasarkan perhitungan effect size diperoleh 0,79 (kategori sedang), yang menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan kartu domino kimia memberikan pengaruh sebesar 28,52% terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Kata Kunci: Kartu Domino Kimia, Hasil Belajar Abstract: This research was aimed to determine the differences of motivation and learning result between students who were taught domino chemistry card with students who were taught without domino chemistry card and determine domino chemistry card’s effect on chemistry learning with domino chemistry against learning result in coloid subject matter eleven grade of SMA Negeri 1 Sekadau Hilir. The form of research that used was quasy-experimental with research design was Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Thirty one students of eleven grade IPA 1 and thirty two students of eleven grade IPA 2 participated in this research. Data analysis using U-Mann Whitney test showed that there were differences motivation and learning result between students who were taught use domino chemistry card with students who were taught without domino chemistry card. Based on calculation of effect size that was 0,79 (medium), domino chemistry card gave 28,52% effect on increased student learning result. Keywords: Domino Chemistry Card, Learning Result

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine: 1) the difference of motivation and learning outcome students which were given learning with  cooperative learningjigsawtype with positive reinforcement to the students which given learning with conventional methods in environmental pollution material, 2) the magnitude of the influence of cooperative learningjigsaw type with positive reinforcement on learning outcomes students. The form of the research was quasy experiment  with nonequivalent control group design. Sample selection technique was cluster random sampling technique. Instrument of the research consisted of learning motivation questionnaire and learning outcome test. The results showed that there was a difference between learning motivation and students learning outcomes which were given learning with cooperative learningjigsaw type with positive reinforcement towards students which were given learning with conventional methods in environmental pollution material. Learning using cooperative learning jigsaw type with positive reinforcement on the material of environmental pollution in seventh grade of SMPN 8 Pontianak giving the influence student learning outcomes of 58.9% . Keyword:Jigsaw, Positive Reinforcement, Learning Motivation, Learning Outcome, Environmental Pollution.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to produce a chemical practicum guide environment-based acid-base material that is feasible to use and find out the students' response to the guide that was developed. The form of research used is research and development (R & D) which refers to the 4D development model modified to 3D. The subject of this study was an environment-based chemical practicum guide which was piloted in limited trials and extensive trials. Data collection instruments used were feasibility questionnaires and student response questionnaires. The practicum guide is validated by material experts, linguists and graphic experts. The results of the validation of the practicum guide on the feasibility of the content and presentation obtained a percentage of 92.71% and 89.30%, the linguistic feasibility obtained a percentage of 90.47% and the graphic feasibility of 95.37%. The results of the student testing response were limited to 82.6% and in the extensive trial of 83.2%. The results of the data analysis show that the environmental-based chemistry lab guide is very suitable for use in learning.Keywords: practicum guide, environment-based, acid-base material

Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) berbantuan multimedia terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi bahan kimia rumah tangga di kelas VIII MTs Negeri Siantan. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik random sampling dengan kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar berbentuk esai. Berdasarkan analisis data menggunakan uji U-Mann Whitney menunjukkan terdapatnya perbedaan hasil belajar antara siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang diberi pembelajaran menggunakan model kooperatif tipe TGT berbantuan multimedia dengan siswa yang diajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional, memberikan pengaruh sedang terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan harga effect size sebesar 0,73 dan persentase peningkatan hasil belajar siswa karena pengaruh model kooperatif tipe TGT berbantuan multimedia sebesar 26,73%. Kata Kunci : multimedia, model kooperatif TGT, hasil belajar, IPA   Abstract: This research was aimed to investigate the influence of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative model assisted with mutimedia toward students’ study achievement on household chemistry material in VIII class of MTs Negeri Siantan. Research form was quasi-experimental research with non-equivalent control group design. Samples of the research were selected by random sampling technique with VIII A as experiment class and VIII C as control class. Data collection tools used study achievement test in essay form. The result of data analysis using U-Mann Whitney test showed the differences of learning outcome between students of students of experimental class and control class that were taught by using Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative model assisted with multimedia and students who learned with conventional model, gave moderate influence toward students’ study achievement with the effect size of 0.73 and the percentage of students’ study achievement improvement from Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative model assisted with multimedia by the amount of 26.73%.
