Abstract

This research aimed to know the influenced of science process skills approached on students critical thinking in ecosystem subject matter. The design was pretest-posttes non equivalent group by purposive sampling so those class VIIC and VIID were choosen as subject. Quantitative data was obtained from the average value of pretest and post test with the pretest average of 56,06; posttest average of 83,65; and an average N-gain of 61,59. The average increase in all KBK aspects that were observed had moderate criteria (30,04). The qualitative data were obtained from observation and questionnaire. Observation result of KPS had high criteria (81,56) and from students qustionnaire data showed nearly all students have a scientific attitude. Thus, it can be concluded that science process skill approached influenced on students critical thinking in ecosystem subject matter.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan keterampilan proses sains terhadap berpikir kritis siswa pada materi pokok ekosistem. Desain yang digunakan adalah pretes-posttes kelompok non ekuivalen dengan purposive sampling sehingga kelas VII C dan VII D diambil sebagai subjek. Data kuantitatif diperolehdari rata-rata nilai pretes dan postes dengan rata-rata pretes yaitu 56,06; rata-rata postes 83,65; dan rata-rata N-gain 61,59. Adapun Rata-rata peningkatan KBK dalam semua aspek yang diamati berkriteria sedang (30,04). Data kualitatif diperoleh melalui lembar observasi dan angket. Hasil observasi KPS memiliki kriteria tinggi (81,56), dan dari data angket tanggapan siswa menunjukkan hampir semua siswa memberikan tanggapan positif. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan keterampilan proses sains berpengaruh terhadap berpikir kritis siswa pada materi pokok ekosistem.Kata kunci : berpikir kritis, ekosistem, pendekatan KPS

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know the influence of using teaching aid leaflet to improve student learning result. This study design was pretest-post test non equivalent group. Samples were VIIIE and VIIID  was chosen by cluster random sampling. This research data the form of quantitative data obtained from the average of pretest, posttest and N-gain score, then that were analyzed using U test and qualitative data obtained  from the observation sheet of learning activities and questionnaire leaflet teaching aid interesting that were analyzed decriptively. The result showed that N-gain average score (59.7). The students learning activity increased by enough criteria (72.7). In addition, most students gave respond positively with used of teaching aid leaflet. Thus, it could be concluded that learning use teaching aid leaflet was influenced significant to improve learning result and activities of students on the material of human movement system. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan bahan ajar leaflet  dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Desain penelitian adalah  pretes-postes kelompok non ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIIE dan VIIID  yang dipilih dari populasi secara clusster random  sampling.  Data penelitian  ini berupa data kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes, postes dan N-gain, kemudian dianalisis dengan uji U, dan data kualitatif berupa aktivitas belajar siswa dan tanggapan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai N-gain (59,7). Hasil rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan dengan kriteria cukup (72,7). Sebagian besar siswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunaan bahan ajar leaflet. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran menggunakan bahan ajar leaflet berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dan aktivitas siswa siswa pada materi pokok sistem gerak manusia. Kata kunci : aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar, leaflet, sistem gerak manusia

Abstract

This study was aimed to determine the effect of Problem Based Learning in improving writing communication skill and students learning achievement. The design was pretest posttest non-equivalent. The samples were students in class VIIA and VIIC selected by purposive sampling. Quantitative data were obtained from the average score of the pretest, posttest and N-gain were analyzed by using t-test and U-test. Qualitative data were average score of written communication skill and analyzed descriptively. The result showed that writting communication skill in the experiment class had good criteria (78,40). The improvement of students achievement shown by the average N-gain of the experiment class (86,60) was higher than control class (55,10). Therefore, it can be concluded that Problem Based Learning improved writting communication skill and students achievement significantly. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Problem Based Learning dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berkomunikasi tertulis dan hasil belajar siswa. Desain penelitian adalah pretest-posttest kelompok tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP Nusantara Bandar Lampung kelas VIIA dan VIIC yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretest, posttest dan N-gain yang dianalisis menggunakan uji-t dan uji U. Data kualitatif berupa rata-rata nilai keterampilan berkomunikasi tertulis siswa diperoleh dari analisis data secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berkomunikasi tertulis kelas eksperimen berkriteria baik (78,40). Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa terlihat pada rata-rata N-gain kelas ekperimen lebih tinggi sebesar 86,60 dibandingkan kelas kontrol sebesar 55,10. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Problem Based Learning meningkatkan keterampilan berkomunikasi tertulis dan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan.Kata kunci : hasil belajar, keterampilan berkomunikasi tertulis, problem based learning

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of used of local wisdom-based teaching materials to increase the activity and learning outcomes of fourth grade students on Theme 3 "Care for Living Beings". The sample in this study were twenty one IV grade students in SDN 1 Lintik, Krui Selatan Subdistrict, Pesisir Barat Regency. Sampling was done using by total sampling technique.The research instrument uses pretest-posttest sheets, activity observation sheets and student response questionnaires.The research design used in this study was one group pretest-posttest design. The research data was analyzed descriptively. The results showed the average percentage of overall activity was 70.6 including the medium kriteria with an average of n-Gain of 0.71 included in the good kriteria. It can be concluded that teaching materials based on local wisdom have proven effective to increased activities and learning outcomes of students.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan efektivitas penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didikpada Tema 3 “Peduli Terhadap Makhluk Hidup”. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 21 peserta didik kelas IV SDN 1Lintik Kecamatan Krui Selatan Kabupaten Pesisir Barat. Pengambilan sampelmenggunakan teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar pretes-postes, lembar observasi aktivitas dan angket tanggapan peserta didik. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest design. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase rata-rata aktivitas secara keseluruhan sebesar 70,6 termasuk kriteria sedang dengan rata-rata n-Gain sebesar 0,71 termasuk dalam kriteria baik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal terbukti efektif meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik.Kata kunci: aktivitas peserta didik, bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal, hasil belajar, peduli terhadap makhluk hidup

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of STAD cooperative learning model to the students' science process skills. This study was a quasi experimental pretest posttest design with non equivalent group. The samples were VIII1 and VIII4 graders selected from the population by purposive sampling. The data of this research is quantitative and qualitative data. The quantitative data was obtained from the average value of pretest and posttest were statistically analyzed using the U-test and the qualitative data in the form of the observation of students' learning activities are analyzed in a descriptive and questionnaire responses of students to the application of cooperative learning model STAD. The results of this study showed that an increase in students' science process skills in the experimental class with an average gain of 63.30 N-gain was higher than the N-gain control class 50.96.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipeSTAD terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan kuasi eksperimental dengan desain pretes postes kelompok tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII1 dan VIII4 yang dipilih dari populasi secara purposive sampling. Data penelitian ini berupa data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes dan postes yang dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji-U dan data kualitatif berupa hasil observasi aktivitas belajar siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriftif dan angket tanggapan siswa terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan keterampilan proses sains siswa pada kelas eksperimen dengan rata-rata N-gain 63,30 lebih tinggi dari N-gain kelas kontrol 50,96. Kata kunci : aktivitas belajar, KPS, struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan, STAD

Abstract

This research purpose wasto know the influence of interactive multimedia towards the learning activityand learning outcomes. The samples were students ofVIIIa and VIIIbat SMPBudayaBandar Lampung that waychosen by Purposive Sampling technique. The research used pretest-posttest non equivalent design.Qualitative data werelearning activities and students responses were analyzed descriptively. The quantitative data were obtained from the students' learning outcomesthat were pretest, posttest, and N-gain whichwere analyzed by using t-Test. The average of students learning activities percentage in all aspects in experiment class were higher than control (experiment= 75,35; control= 58,59).The increasing oflearning outcomeswith N-gain average was68,00that significantly different with control class was 60,00.Furthermore,most of the students (93%) gave positive responses to the using ofinteractive multimedia. Therefore, interactive multimedia improvedthe activity and learning outcomes students on material of the human circulatory. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh multimedia interaktif terhadap peningkatan aktivitas dan hasilbelajar siswa. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIIa dan VIIIbSMP BudayaBandar Lampung, dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian menggunakan pretest-posttest tak ekuivalen. Data kualitatif berupa aktivitas belajar dan tanggapan siswa dianalisis secara deskriptif. Datakuantitatif hasil belajar siswa diperoleh daripretest, posttest dan N-Gain yangdianalisis menggunakan uji t. Rata rata persentase aktivitas siswa pada semua aspek yang diamati pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol (eksperimen= 75,35; kontrol= 58,59).Peningkatan hasil belajarsiwa kelas eksperimen dengan rata-rata N-gain68,00 berbeda signifikan dengan kelas kontrol 60,00.Selain itu sebagian besar siswa (92%) memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap penggunan multimedia interaktif. Dengan demikian, penggunaan multimedia interaktif dapat meningkatkan penguasaan materi dan aktivitas belajar siswa pada materi pokok peredaran darah manusia. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of discovery learning model towards studentss senior high school critical thinking skill. The design of research was the pretest-posttest non equivalent group. The samples were students of XI MIA3 and XI MIA4 that were chosen by purposive sampling technique. Quantitative data were critical thinking skill results that were obtained from pretest, posttest, and N-gain which were analyzed using t test and U test at the level of 5%. Qualitative data were obtained from the activity and studentss perception that analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the average of N-gain using discovery learning was 44,76 which was higher than discussion method class that was 27,61. The average percentage of studentss activity by using discovery learning was 75,00% which was higher than discussion method class that was 59,49%. Thus the discovery learning model influence the improvement of students critical thinking skill.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Discovery Learning terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMA. Desain penelitian menggunakan desain pretest-posttest tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI MIA3 dan XI MIA4, dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data kuantitatif berupa rata-rata nilai pretest, posttest dan gain keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa yang dianalisis menggunakan uji t dan uji U. Data kualitatif berupa hasil aktivitas belajar dan tanggapan siswa yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas yang menggunakan Discovery Learning lebih tinggi 44,76 dibandingkan kelas yang menggunkan metode diskusi 27,61. Pada kelas yang menggunakan Discovery Learning rata-rata keseluruhan dari aktivitas belajar lebih tinggi 75,00% dibandingkan kelas yang menggunakan metode diskusi 59,49%. Dengan demikian model Discovery Learning berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa.Kata kunci : aktivitas belajar, berpikir kritis, discovery learning

Abstract

This research was aimed to know the influence of leaflet  material study in improving student learning result. This study design was pretest-post test non equivalent group. Samples were VIIID and VIIIF  was chosen by clusster random sampling. The data of this research were qualitative and quantitative. The quantitative data were the average of pretest, posttest and N-gain score, then were analyzed by using U-test. The qualitative data was gotten by student learning activity and questionnaire that was analyzed descriptive. The result showed that the students learning outcomes also develop, with N-gain average score (68.9). The students learning activity increased by well criteria (75.4). The most of students responded positively to the application of the leaflet material study. Thus, it could be concluded that application leaflet  material study was influenced improve the student learning result and the student learning activity on the material of circulation system.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bahan ajar leaflet  dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Desain penelitian adalah  pretes-postes kelompok non ekuivalen. Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in self-efficacy among genders, and the relationship in self-efficacy based on gender with student learning outcomes. The samples in this study were students grade VII of junior high school at district kedaton which amount of 186 that were selected by purposive sampling. This research was a simple-descriptive. Data collection were collectedby written test method and questionnaire. Data were analyzed using independent sample t-test  and pearson product moment. The result of independent sample t-test showed that the different on self-efficacy between males and females students was not significant. The result of correlation was positive and there was significant relationship between self-efficacy based on gender with learning outcomes of science subjects. Coefficient of Pearson correlation test showed relationship between self efficacy with students learning outcomes with level ofcloseness that was "low".Keywords: gender, learning outcomes, self-efficacyPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan self-efficacy antar gender, dan hubungan self-efficacy berdasarkan gender dengan hasil belajar siswa. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP di Kecamatan Kedaton yang berjumlah 186 yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif korelasional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes tertulis dan angket. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan  menggunakan uji-t sampel independen dan uji pearson product moment. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang tidak signifikan antara self efficacy siswa laki-laki dan siswa perempuan. Hasil uji korelasi pearson  menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan  antara self efficacy dengan hasil belajar IPA. Adapun nilai koefisien yang dihasilkan pada korelasi pearson menunjukkan hubungan antara self efficacy dan hasil belajar  adalah “rendah”.Kata kunci : gender, hasil belajar, self-efficacy

Abstract

This research was aimed to know students learning achievement which is higher between Jigsaw and NHT in digestive system material. The research design was pretest-posttestcomparative group with purposive sampling so that students of XI IPA1 and XIIPA2 class SMA Negeri 1 Kedondong used as subjects. Quantitative data obtainedfrom the average value of pretest, posttest, and N-gain were analyzed using U-testand t-test. Qualitative data obtained from description of learning activities. Theresearch result showed that NHT improved learning achievement with averageN-gain (0,43). Improvement of N-gain C2 indicator (0,57), C3 (0,25), C4 (0,44),and C5 (0,44). Students learning activities average of NHT (59,03%) mediumcriteried. Jigsaw class (53,70)% low criteried. Thus, model NHT influencedsignificantly to improve activities and students learning achievement of digestivesystem subject matter.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar yang lebih tinggi antaraJigsaw dengan NHT pada materi sistem pencernaan. Desain penelitian pretes posteskelompok pembanding dengan purposive sampling sehingga kelas XI IPA1dan XI IPA2 SMA Negeri 1 Kedondong sebagai subjek. Data kuantitatifdiperoleh dari rata-rata nilai pretes, postes, dan N-gain dianalisis menggunakanuji U dan uji t. Data kualitatif berupa deskriptif aktivitas belajar. Hasil penelitianNHT meningkatkan hasil belajar dengan rata-rata N-gain (0,43). Peningkatanterjadi pada N-gain indikator C2 (0,57), C3 (0,25), C4 (0,44), dan C5 (0,44).Rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa yang menggunakan NHT (59,03%) berkriteriasedang. Kelas Jigsaw (53,70%) berkriteria rendah.
