Abstract

Through this classroom action research it is expected to be an alternative to increase the cognitive skill and the result of student’s physics learning. Before holding the research, an interview was done to student’s then the researcher used instruments which were already valid and reliable to know the metacognitive skill of student’s. After the research process, it was revealed that there was an increasing of the student’s metacognitive skill. They were in circle 1, 2 and 3 which categorized as “good”. In the cognitive aspect there was a significant increase and they are categorized “complete” in the psychomotor aspect, there was also an increase of the student’s learning achievement but it was not so significant. In the other hand, the affective aspect of student’s learning activity, there was also an increase.Melalui penelitian tindakan kelas ini, diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan metakognisi dan hasil belajar fisika siswa. Sebelum penelitian, dilakukan wawancara terhadap siswa, kemudian ditinjaklanjuti dengan menggunakan instrumen yang telah valid dan reliabel untuk mengetahui keterampilan metakognisi siswa. Setelah proses penelitian diperoleh data peningkatan keterampilan metakognisi dan hasil belajar siswa setiap siklusnya, yaitu pada siklus I, II dan III dengan kategori “baik”. Pada aspek kognitif terjadi peningkatan yang sangat baik setiap siklusnya dengan kategori “tuntas”. Pada aspek psikomotor hasil belajar siswa juga menunjukkan adanya peningkatan meskipun tidak signifikan. Sedangkan pada hasil belajar aspek afektif juga terjadi peningkatan.Kata kunci: metacognitive skill, ongoing assessment, penelitian tindakan kelas.

Abstract

Based on research conducted there are many more students gain in value under KKM. This research was meant to find out the influence of motivation to study result of the students with model of learning eliciting activities use strategy scaffolding. The study is done in SMA Perintis 1 Bandar Lampung using design one-shot case study. To test the influence of test the linearity, the correlation, and linear regression simple between data motivation and study result of the test the student with previous beforehand about by using test the validity of and reliabilitas. Results of the study show that there are influences of motivation against the results of a positive linear physics learning and significant contribution of the determinant of the 14.7%.Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan masih banyak siswa memperoleh nilai di bawah KKM. Tujuanpenelitianuntuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran eliciting activities menggunakan strategi scaffolding. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Perintis 1 Bandar Lampung menggunakan desain One-Shot Case Study. Untuk menguji pengaruh dilakukan uji linearitas, korelasi, dan regresi linear sederhana antara data motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa dengan sebelumnya menguji terlebih dahulu soal dengan menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh motivasi terhadap hasil belajar fisika linear yang positif dan signifikan dengan kontribusi determinan sebesar 14,7%Kata kuci: motivasi, eliciting activities, scaffolding

Abstract

Student Book that has Content of Devinity Value and Love the Environment (BNKKL) has been developed and validated by experts, then the aim of this research was to validate empirically done by comparing the learning outcomes using Conventional Student Book and BNKKL Student Book using PBL, so it can be a Student Book alternate to learn the matter of the Changes Around Us. The research method was Quassi Experiment, with the sample were VII-A as a control class that used Conventional Student Book, and VII-C as an experimental class that used the BNKKL Student Book. The comparison of the affective final value who used BNKKL Student Book and Conventional Student Book was 3.66 : 3.54, and cognitive and psychomotor final value was 3.33: 2.64.Buku Siswa Bermuatan Nilai Ketuhanan dan Kecintaan terhadap Lingkungan (BNKKL) telah dikembangkan dan tervalidasi konstruk oleh ahli, selanjutnya untuk memvalidasi secara empirik dilakukan dengan membandingkan hasil belajar menggunakan Buku Siswa Konvensional dengan Buku Siswa BNKKL menggunakan model PBL, sehingga mampu dijadikan sebagai Buku Siswa alternatif untuk membelajarkan materi Perubahan di Sekitar Kita. Metode penelitian ini adalah Eksperimen Semu, dengan sampel kelas VII-A sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan Buku Siswa Konvensional, dan kelas VII-C sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan Buku Siswa BNKKL. Perbandingan nilai akhir afektif yang menggunakan Buku Siswa BNKKL dengan Buku siswa Konvensional 3,66 : 3,54, serta nilai akhir kognitif dan psikomotor 3,33 : 2,64.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, buku siswa, PBL.

Abstract

The learning result is influenced by student critical student’s thinking ability, and can be improved by using test form. This research aims to knowing: (1) the different of learning result by using of essay test form and reasoning plural option; (2) the different learning result seen from critical thinking ability in high and low category; (3) the interaction between test form with critical thinking ability in improving learning result. The research has been held in SMP N 19 Bandar Lampung of student from class VIIIB and VIIIC. Sample technique that is used by purposive sampling. The desain of is factorial 2x2. Data to analized and tested by using Two Way ANOVA. Based on the result: (1) there is the different of learning result between using of essay test form and reasoning plural option; (2) there is the different learning result seen from critical thinking ability; (3) ) the interaction between test form with critical thinking ability in improving learning result.Hasil belajar dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dan dapat ditingkatkan menggunakan bentuk tes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan hasil belajar menggunakan bentuk tes uraian dan pilihan jamak beralasan; (2) perbedaan hasil belajar dilihat dari kemampuan berpikir kritis kategori tinggi dan rendah; (3) interaksi antara bentuk tes dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam peningkatan hasil belajar. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMPN 19 Bandar Lampung kelas VIIIB dan VIIIC. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cara purposive sampling. Desain penelitian ini adalah Factorial 2x2. Data dianalisis dan diuji menggunakan analisis varian dua jalur (Two Way ANOVA). Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa: (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara menggunakan bentuk tes uraian dan pilihan jamak beralasan; (2) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar dilihat dari kemampuan berpikir kritis; (3) terdapat interaksi antara bentuk tes dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam peningkatan hasil belajar.Kata kunci: Bentuk tes, kemampuan berpikir kritis, hasil belajar

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the difference and increasity of student learning outcomes on the implementation of PBL and discovery learning on the optical material. The design of this study used was one group pretest-posttest design. In the experimental class, the average score of student learning outcomes was 53.90 and the increasing of the average score of student learning outcomes was 28.30 with N-gain of 0.37 (medium category). In the control class, the average score of student learning outcomes was 38.10 and the increasing of the average score of student learning outcomes was 9.60 with N-gain of 0.13 (lower category). The result showed that there were differences in student learning outcome between experimental class that has been applied PBL and control class that has been applied discovery learning. It can be conclude that the implementation of PBL was more effective to improve student learning outcomes.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan dan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada penerapan PBL dan discovery learning pada materi optik. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Pada kelas eksperimen skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa adalah 53.90 dan kenaikan skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 28,30 dengan N-gain sebesar 0,37 (kategori sedang). Pada kelas kontrol skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa adalah 38.10 dan kenaikan skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 9,60 dengan N-gain sebesar 0,13 (kategori rendah). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan PBL dan kelas kontrol yang menerapkan discovery learning. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penerapan PBL lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: discovery learning, hasil belajar, problem based learning

Abstract

Assessment plays a very important role in improving student’s physics learning result. However, the less variety of assessment used by the teacher causes the low score of student’s physics learning result. One type of assessment used in the research that can increase student’s physics learning result is Ongoing Assessment IF-AT (Immediate Feedback Assessment Technique). This kind of as-sessment is not only applied when the learning is over, but also done continuously when the learning process happens, that are: at the beginning of learning, whilst learning, and at the end of the learning process. This research also supported by Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. Objective of this research are to know the influence score of Ongoing Assessment IF-AT technique toward score of student’s physics learning result through PBL model. The data score of Ongoing Assessment IF-AT technique is obtained from the average score of multiple-choice test of IF-AT technique conducted from 3 meetings, while the data score of learning result is obtained from cross-technique multiple-choice test conducted in the last meet-ing. Research results show that there is a positive linear influence score of Ongo-ing Assessment IF-AT technique toward score of student’s physics learning result through PBL model.Keywords : Score of learning result, score of ongoing assessment IF-AT technique,Problem Based Learning (PBL) model.

Abstract

The aims of the research are to: (1) identify the improvement of students learning outcomes by using mind map and; (2) the creativity influence of mind map to the students learning outcomes at the subject of optical instruments. The research was conducted in the class of X.3 at SMA Negeri 1 Purbolinggo east Lampung, amount of the student have 31 person in the second semester 2012/2013 with optical instrument subject. This research design has use Pre-Experimental Design, and type of that design has One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design, and than the data were analyzed by Paired Sample T Test to determine the improvement of students learning outcomes and than Simple Linear Regression to determine creativity influence of mind map to the students learning outcomes with use SPSS 17.0. The results of the research showed that :(1) There was an significantly average improvement of students learning outcomes by using mind map; (2) there was a positively and linearly significant creativity influence of mind map to the students learning outcomes at the subject of optical instruments.Kata kunci: hasil belajar siswa, kreativitas, peta pikiran

Abstract

The objectives of this development research were to create science lesson plan with divinity and loving environment value contents, and to describe the effectiveness of the developed product. The development procedure used research and development methods containing of the need of analysis, the initial product development, the expert test, revision, and field test. The result product of this research study is in the form of science lesson plan with divinity and loving environment value contents that had been validated. The product had been evidented as effective based on result of students’ learning that had fulfilled KKM at the VII.8 class of SMP Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung.Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) sains bermuatan nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan serta mendeskripsikan efektivitas produk yang dikembangkan. Prosedur pengembangan menggunakan metode research and development, yang terdiri atas analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan produk awal, uji ahli, revisi, dan uji lapangan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah produk berupa RPP sains bermuatan nilai ketuhanan dan kecintaan terhadap lingkungan yang telah divalidasi. Produk dinyatakan efektif berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa yang memenuhi KKM pada kelas VII.8 SMP Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung.Kata kunci: nilai kecintaan terhadap lingkungan, nilai ketuhanan, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran

Abstract

Based on the survey results of 25 physics teachers in Bandar Lampung related to the needed of authentic rubrics assessment of affective domains showed that 62.4% of teachers answered necessary, 32.8% of them answered very necessary, 4.8% of them answered less necessary and the rest of 0% answered unnecessary and very unnecessary, so the researcher need development research aiming to develop the authentic assessment rubrics of affective domains in high school physics learning at character education and implemented the result of this development products in school as a reference on learning system of monitoring and evaluating. These development included needs analysis, initial product of development, expert validation, product revision, and trials by using the fasibility and effectiveness instruments of rubric. The final products were used for assessment by teacher. The results of the trials stated that 100% of students are able to bring all indicators of affective aspects and to reach the effectiveness point of rubricsat 3.57 with very good category.Berdasarkan hasil survei 25 guru fisika di Bandar Lampung terkait perlunya rubrik asesmen otentik aspek afektif yang menunjukkan bahwa 62,4% guru menjawab perlu, 32,8% guru sangat perlu, 4,8% guru kurang perlu dan 0% menjawab tidak perlu dan sangat tidak perlu, maka peneliti perlu melakukan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan rubrik asesmen otentik aspek afektif pada pembelajaran fisika SMA bermuatan pendidikan karakter dan menerapkan produk hasil pengembangan tersebut di sekolah-sekolah sebagai acuan dalam sistem penilaian dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Pengembangan tersebut meliputi analisis kebutuhan, pengembangan produk awal, validasi ahli, revisi produk, dan uji lapangan menggunakan instrumen kelayakan dan keefektifan rubrik. Produk akhir digunakan untuk melakukan penilaian oleh guru. Hasil uji lapangan menyatakan bahwa 100% siswa yang dapat memunculkan semua indikator aspek afektif dan mencapai keefektifan rubrik sebesar 3,57 dengan kategori sangat baik.Kata kunci: aspek afektif, pendidikan karakter, pengembangan produk, rubrik asesmen otentik.

Abstract

This research aimed to produce an LKS based on inquiry with process skills approach on Newton's laws mater an attractive, easy, useful, and effective to improve student learning outcomes. This type of research is research development. The research was conducted in SMA Negeri 4 Bandar Lampung. Research design was experimental pretest-posttest control group. Research sample were class X4 and X5 with random sampling technique. The instrument used to Collect the data were questionnaires, pretest-posttest, and observation reports of students in aspects of process skills. The results showed that the LKS belongs to valid category, interesting, easy, useful, and improved student learning outcomes. It was concluded that the use of teaching materials LKS learning based on inkuiry with process skills approach is enough effective with the value of the average skills process of the students that has good category.Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan produk LKS berbasis inkuiri dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses pada materi hukum Newton yang menarik, mudah, bermanfaat, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian pengembangan. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 4 Bandar Lampung. Desain penelitian eksperimen pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian kelas X4 dan X5 dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara random. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen angket, pretest-posttest, dan observasi laporan siswa dalam aspek keterampilan proses. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKS termasuk kategori valid, menarik, mudah, bermanfaat, dan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan bahan ajar LKS berbasis inkuiri dengan pendekatan keterampilan proses sudah cukup efektif dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata keterampilan proses siswa kategori baik.Kata kunci: LKS, inkuiri, keterampilan proses.
