Abstract

Abstract: Development and Implementation of Learning Videos in Health, Sport, Physical Education to Improve Learning Interest and Perseverance Character of High School Students. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of student responses on learning videos of health, sport, and physical education on interest in learning and character of perseverance.Methods: This type of research is development research, with the ADDIE model.The sampling technique used is random sampling. The data analysis technique is in the form of quantitative data analysis with associative and comparative types. Findings: the results of the regression test obtained a significance value of less than 0.05 Conclusion: The research can be concluded that there is an effect of student responses on learning videos of health, sport, and physical education on interest in learning and character of perseverance.Keywords: learning videos, learning interest, perseverance character.Abstrak: Pengembangan dan Implementasi Video Pembelajaran Kesehatan, Olahraga, Pendidikan Jasmani untuk Meningkatkan Karakter Minat dan Ketekunan Belajar Siswa SMA. Tujuan: Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh respon siswa pada video pembelajaran Pendidikan jasmani olahraga dan kesehatanterhadap minat belajar dan karakter ketekunan. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian pengembangan, dengan model ADDIE. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan berupa random sampling. Teknik analisis data berupa analisis data kuantitatif dengan jenis asosiatif dan komparatif. Abstract

Abstract: Analyzing the Antecedents and Consequences of Teacher Job Satisfaction in the Digital 4.0 Era. Objectives: This research analyzes the antecedents and consequences of teacher job satisfaction in the digital 4.0 era. Methods: This study uses a quantitative approach with a theoretical model assessed by PLS-SEM analysis. The sampling technique was oriented to purposive sampling, so the samples obtained were 125 teachers. Findings: The results of this research suggest that principal supervision has no significant effect on teacher job satisfaction, while compensation significantly affects teacher job satisfaction. The results of this research also confirm that teacher job satisfaction significantly affects organizational citizenship behavior and teacher performance. Conclusion: This study concludes that the principal supervision program must be realized in implementing clinical and non-clinical supervision programs. Job satisfaction shown by teachers can directly improve organizational citizenship behavior and teacher performance.Keywords: teacher job satisfaction, organizational citizenship behavior, teacher performance.Abstrak: Menganalisis Anteseden dan Konsekuensi Kepuasan Kerja Guru di Era Digital 4.0. Tujuan: Riset ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis anteseden dan konsekuensi kepuasan kerja guru di era digital 4.0. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan model teoritis yang dinilai dengan analisis PLS-SEM. Teknik pengambilan sampel berorientasi pada purposive sampling, sehingga perolehan sampel berjumlah 125 orang guru. Temuan: Hasil dari riset ini mengemukakan principal supervision berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap teacher job satisfaction sedangkan compensation berpengaruh signifikan terhadap teacher job satisfaction. Hasil dari riset ini juga mengkonfirmasi bahwa teacher job satisfaction berpengaruh signifikan terhadap organizational citizenship behaviour dan teacher performance. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menyimpulkan program supervisi kepala sekolah harus diwujudkan dalam pelaksanaan program supervisi klinis dan nonklinis. Kepuasan kerja yang ditunjukkan guru secara langsung dapat meningkatkan organizational citizenship behaviour dan kinerja guru.Kata kunci: kepuasan kerja guru, organizational citizenship behaviour, kinerja guru.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v12.i3.202222

Abstract

Abstract: The Effect of Assessment Strategy on Students Character and Creative Thinking Ability in Designing Learning Media. Objective: assessment strategy its effect on creative thinking ability and academic character of students in making learning media. Methods: research quasi-experimental method one-group pretest-posttest design. The research was carried out in the Biology Education Study Program of UMM in the odd semester of 2021/2022. The research population is students in the Media and Learning course. Saturated sampling technique and sample of 25 students. The research instrument consisted 6 creative thinking essay questions and an academic character assessment form. Data were analyzed statistically using ANOVA. Findings: the application of the assessment strategy has a significant effect on students’ creative thinking skills in making learning media for biological diversity, fungi and inheritance. The assessment strategy used has an influence on the academic character of students. Conclusion: good assessment strategy will encourage educators to determine good teaching strategies and motivate students to learn better so that learning becomes meaningful.Keywords: elaboration, flexibility, fluency, metaphorical thinking, academic character.Abstrak: Pengaruh Strategi Asesmen terhadap Karakter dan Kemampuan Berfikir Kreatif Siswa dalam Mendesain Media Pembelajaran. Tujuan: strategi asesmen pengaruhnya terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan karakter akademik mahasiswa dalam membuat media pembelajaran. Metode: penelitian eksperimen semu one-group pretest-posttest design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Prodi Pendidikan Biologi UMM semester ganjil 2021/2022. Populasi penelitian mahasiswa mata kuliah Media dan Pembelajaran. Teknik sampling jenuh dan sampel 25 mahasiswa. Instrumen penelitian terdiri 6 soal essay berfikir kreatif dan form penilaian karakter akademik. Data dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan ANOVA. Temuan: penerapan strategi asesmen memberikan pengaruh secara signifikan pada kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa dalam membuat media pembelajaran materi keankergaman hayati, jamur dan pewarisan sifat. Strategi asesmen yang digunakan memberikan pengaruh terhadap karakter akademik mahasiswa. Kesimpulan: strategi asesmen yang baik akan mendorong tenaga pendidik untuk menentukan strategi mengajar yang baik dan memotivasi siswa untuk belajar yang lebih baik sehingga pembelajaran menjadi bermakna Kata kunci: elaborasi, fleksibilitas, fluency, berpikir metafor, karakter akademik. Abstract

Abstract: The Effect of Multimedia-Based CIRC Learning Model on Thematic Learning Outcomes. Objectives: The low students learning outcomes encourage this study to analyze and determine the effect of the implementation of the multimedia-based Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model on the students thematic learning outcomes. Methods: Quasi-experimental and quantitative approaches were employed in this study with a non-equivalent control group design. The purposive sampling technique was used in determining the research sample from a total population of 59 students. The data were collected through test and non-test techniques. Findings: Based on the hypothesis test using a simple regression formula, the data obtained that Fcount more than Ftable, i.e, 9.19 more than 4.20, which has a positive and significant effect on students learning outcomes after the implementation of the CIRC model combined with multimedia. Conclusion: The CIRC learning model applied is concluded as an effective learning model as it could improve students learning outcomes.Keywords: CIRC, multimedia, learning outcome.Abstrak: Dampak Model Pembelajaran CIRC Berbasis Multimedia terhadap Hasil Belajar Tematik. Tujuan: Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa mendorong penelitian ini untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran CIRC berbasis multimedia terhadap hasil belajar tematik peserta didik. Metode: Eksperimen kuasi dan pendekatan kuantitatif diterapkan dalam penelitian ini dengan non-equivalent control group design. Teknik purposive sampling digunakan dalam menentukan sample penelitian dari jumlah populasi sebanyak 59 peserta didik. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik tes dan non-tes. Temuan: Berdasarkan tes hipotesis menggunakan rumus regresi sederhana, didapatkan data bahwa Fhitung lebih dari F tabel yaitu 9,19 lebih dari 4,20, yang mana terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa setelah penerapan model CIRC yang dikombinasi dengan multimedia. Kesimpulan: Model pembelajaran CIRC yang diterapkan disimpulkan sebagai model pembelajaran yang efektif karena dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: CIRC, multimedia, hasil belajar.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v12.i3.202204/

Abstract

Abstract: The Effect of Self-Efficacy on Teachers Organizational Citizenship Behavior: A Case of MTsN 1 Kota Mataram. Objectives: This study aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy on the Organizational Citizenship Behavior of teachers at MTsN 1 Mataram City. Methods: This research was conducted at MTsN 1 Mataram City teachers as many as 62 people. The sampling technique is popular. The data collection technique used is the distribution of questionnaires. Data analysis using simple linear regression and t-test. Self-efficacy indicators consist of magnitude, generality, and strength. Indicators of organizational citizenship behavior are altruism, conscientiousness, sportsmanship, courtesy, and civic virtue. Findings: The results of the simple regression test showed that the significance value was less than 0.05. The results of the t-test also show that the t-count value of 3.830 is greater than the t-count value of 1.685. Conclusion: This indicates that there is a significant influence between self-efficacy and the organizational citizenship behavior of teachers at MTsN 1 Mataram City.Keywords: self-efficacy, organizational citizenship behavior, junior high school teacher.Abstrak: Pengaruh Efikasi Diri Terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior Guru: Kasus di MTsN 1 Kota Mataram. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap organizational citizenship behavior guru di MTsN 1 Kota Mataram. Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan di guru-guru MTsN 1 Kota Mataram sebanyak 62 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel bersifat populatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah penyebaran angket. Analisis data meggunakan regresi linear sederhana dan uji-t. Indikator efikasi diri terdiri dari magnitude, generality, dan strength. Indikator organizational citizenship behavior adalah altruisme, conscientiousness, sportmanship, courtesy, serta civic virtue. Temuan: Hasil uji regresi sederhana menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari nilai 0.05. Hasil uji t juga menujukkan bahwa nilai t hitung sebesar 3.830 lebih besar dibandingkan nilai t hitung sebesar 1.685. Kesimpulan: Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara efikasi diri dengan organizational citizenship behavior guru MTsN 1 Kota Mataram.Kata kunci: efikasi diri, organizational citizenship behavior, guru SMP. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v12.i3.202227

Abstract

Abstract: English Self-Regulated Language Learning on Youtube: Students Purpose, Perception, and Action. Objective: This study scrutinizes English learners’ self-regulated language learning using Youtube beyond the formal classroom. Methods: A qualitative inquiry approach was employed in this study. Twenty-two university students in Central Java province Indonesia who had substantial experiences of watching English-teaching videos were purposively invited for a semi-structured interview to depict how they performed self-directed learning. The data were qualitatively analyzed by classifying based on the main themes, coding, reviewing, and conclusion drawing Findings: the results portrayed that the most dominant goals of self-directed language learning on Youtube were to look for more learning sources, to enhance English skills and vocabulary, and to explore cultural knowledge. Another finding showed that learning English on Youtube was more interesting and flexible without time and space restriction. Conclusion: Youtube videos offers a fertile ground for educational purposes, particularly for developing English skills in a self-directed learning beyond formal classroom.Keywords: english teaching on Youtube; self-regulated language learning, informal learning.Abstrak: Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris secara Mandiri melalui Youtube: Tujuan, Persepsi, dan Aksi. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplor model pembelajaran mandiri yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa Bahasa Inggris dengan menggunakan video Youtube di luar kelas. Metode: Sejumlah 22 mahasiswa Bahasa Inggris yang berasal dari dua perguruan tinggi di provinsi Jawa Tengah Indonesia dan telah memiliki pengalaman belajar Bahasa menggunakan Youtube direkrut menjadi responden dalam penelitian kualitatif ini. Data kemudian dianalisis dengan tahapan klasifikasi, koding, review, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil: hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tujuan utama mahasiswa belajar Bahasa dengan menggunakan Youtube adalah untuk mencari sumber belajar dan informasi tambahan tentang pembelajaran mereka di kelas, untuk meningkatkan kemampuanl Bahasa Inggris dan penguasaan kosa kata, dan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan pengetahuan tentang budaya. Temuan lain menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris menggunakan Youtube dianggap menyenangkan dan lebih fleksibel oleh mahasiswa. Kesimpulan: Youtube menawarkan kesempatan yang cukup menjanjikan untuk pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris khususnya dalam memfasilitasi pembelajaran mandiri yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa. Abstract

Abstract: Evaluation of Online Learning Implementation with a System Thinking Approach. One of the successes of the learning process can be seen from the student’s grades, but the overall evaluation process based on feedback from students can be done using systems thinking approach. Objective: The systems thinking approach in research aims to find out the obstacles to the online learning process and determine problem-solving strategies to improve the quality of online learning. Methods: The research method used is the descriptive qualitative method and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Findings: Based on the results of the study, there are 20 variables of obstacles in the implementation of learning that are interrelated and influence the implementation of learning. Conclusion: The results of the study, it shows that the objective variables in learning are the learning process, student understanding of learning material, and value of learning outcomes, the supporting variables to answer the learning objectives are lecturer creativity and student motivation.Keywords: evaluation, online learning, systems thinking approach.Abstrak: Evaluasi Penerapan Pembelajaran Daring dengan Pendekatan System Thinking. Keberhasilan proses pembelajaran salah satunya dapat dilihat dari nilai mahasiswa, akan tetapi proses evaluasi secara menyeluruh berdasarkan timbal balik dari mahasiswa dapat dilakukan dengan pendekatan systems thinking. Tujuan: Pendekatan systems thinking dalam penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kendala-kendala proses pembelajaran secara daring (online) dan menentukan strategi pemecahan masalah untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran secara daring. Metode: penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Temuan: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat 20 variabel kendala dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang saling terkait dan saling mempengaruhi yaitu proses pembelajaran. Kesimpulan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel tujuan dalam pembelajaran adalah proses pembelajaran, pemahaman mahasiswa dan nilai mahasiswa, variabel penunjang untuk menjawab tujuan pembelajaran adalah kreativitas dosen dan motivasi mahasiswa. Abstract

Abstract: The Role of Argument-Based Science Inquiry Learning Model to Improve Scientific Argumentation Ability. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the argument-based science inquiry (ABSI) learning model in improving scientific argumentation skills. Methods: The quasi-experimental method used in this study was a one group pretest posttest design. The population in this study were high school students in the city of Bandung with a sample of two classes selected by cluster random sampling with a total of 100 students. Findings: The results of the study confirm that the ABSI learning model has a very significant effect on students scientific argumentation skills. The improvement can be seen in the depth, organization, and accuracy scientific argumentation. Conclusion: Students argumentation skills increase because they are trained to organize thoughts completely, scientifically, and systematically.Keywords: argument-based science Inquiry learning model, scientific argumentation ability, critical thinking ability.Abstrak: Peran Model Pembelajaran Science Inquiry Berbasis Argumen Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Argumentasi Ilmiah. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran model pembelajaran inkuiri sains berbasis argumen (ABSI) dalam meningkatkan keterampilan argumentasi ilmiah. Metode: Metode eksperimen semu yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah one group pretest posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA di kota Bandung dengan sampel dua kelas yang dipilih secara cluster random sampling dengan jumlah 100 siswa. Temuan: Hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa model pembelajaran ABSI berpengaruh sangat signifikan terhadap keterampilan argumentasi ilmiah siswa. Peningkatan kemampuan argumentasi ilmiah siswa dapat dilihat pada kedalaman, pengorganisasian, dan ketepatan penggunaan komponen argumentasi ilmiah berupa klaim, data, justifikasi, dan pendukung. Abstract

Abstract: An Application of Compositional Metafunctions in Improving Childrens Ability to Learn English Through Images. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to access the application of compositional metafunctions in improving childrens ability in learning English through images. Methods: The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a literature review using sources from the internet, books, and related research outputs. Findings: The results of this study found that using images in the application of compositional metafunction in learning English to improve childrens abilities has a great influence, in terms of ease of learning and ease of observation. Conclusion: Based on the results presented, this study gives a new horizon that children can easily remember words in English through pictures and make motor comparisons in everyday life with the concept of cognitive development in improving memory for learning English.Keywords: compositional, images, metafunctions, children.Abstrak: Aplikasi Metafungsi Komposisi dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Anak Belajar Bahasa Inggris Melalui Gambar. Temuan: Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa penggunaan gambar dalam penerapan metafungsi komposisional dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris untuk meningkatkan kemampuan anak memiliki pengaruh yang besar, dalam hal kemudahan belajar dan kemudahan pengamatan. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil yang dipaparkan, penelitian ini memberikan cakrawala baru bahwa anak dapat dengan mudah mengingat kata-kata dalam bahasa Inggris melalui gambar dan membuat perbandingan motorik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dengan konsep perkembangan kognitif dalam meningkatkan daya ingat untuk belajar bahasa Inggris.Kata kunci: komposisi, gambar, metafungsi, anak-anak.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v12.i3.202214

Abstract

Abstract: The Effect of Kahoot on Learning Performance of Prospective Elementary School Teacher in Indonesia. Objectives: This study aims to determine the effect of Media Kahoot on the learning outcomes of prospective elementary school teachers. Methods: This research is a quasi-experimental research, namely by applying the use of Kahoot Media in the experimental class, the treatment is carried out to examine student learning performance. Findings: The average post-test score for the experimental class using Kahoot Media was 87.24 while the average in the Control class was 79.35. So that there is an increase in the average value of 7.89 using Kahoot Media. The use of Kahoot Media on the material characteristics of living things is quite effective for student learning outcomes. Conclusion: It is expected that lecturers and students use Kahoot Media as one of the interesting and interactive supporting media at the school and college level.Keywords: Kahoot, learning outcomes, elementary school teacher StudentsAbstrak: Dampak Kahoot terhadap Hasil Belajar Mahasiswa Calon Guru Sekolah Dasar di Indonesia. Tujuan: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Media Kahoot terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa calon guru sekolah dasar. Metode: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuasi eksperimental, yaitu dengan menerapkan penggunaan Media Kahoot dalam kelas eksperimen, perlakuan dilakukan dengan maksud untuk mengkaji hasil belajar mahasiswa. Temuan: Rata-rata nilai post-test kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan Media Kahoot sebesar 87,24 sedangkan rata-rata di kelas Kontrol sebesar 79,35. Sehingga ada peningkatan rata-rata nilai sebesar 7,89 dengan menggunakan Media Kahoot. Penggunaan Media Kahoot pada materi ciri-ciri makhluk hidup cukup efektif hasil belajar siswa. Kesimpulan: diharapkan kepada dosen dan mahasiswa untuk menggunakan Media Kahoot sebagai salah satu media pendukung yang menarik dan interaktif di tingkat sekolah maupun tingkat perguruan tinggi.
