Abstract

The tourism industry has experienced significant evolution, driven by technological advancements, internet accessibility, and evolving consumer preferences. Consequently, Public Relations (PR) has become vital for shaping and enhancing the positive image of tourism destinations globally. As competition intensifies and communication technologies evolve, tourism organisations must innovate communication strategies to remain competitive. Storytelling has emerged as a powerful tool in tourism PR, offering unique abilities to captivate audiences, evoke emotions, and deepen experiences. Compelling storytelling can influence destination perceptions, engage emotions, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and navigate the digital landscape. This paper explores the impact, strategies, and implications of storytelling in tourism PR, providing insights for practitioners and decision-makers in the tourism industry.

Abstract

Bali's tourism industry is a crucial economic pillar for the island, celebrated for its stunning natural landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and warm hospitality. However, the rapid growth of tourism has resulted in adverse environmental impacts, placing immense pressure on Bali's resources, environment, and local traditions. Amidst the global evolution of economic development, tourism continues to burgeon, driven by technological advancements and evolving consumer behaviours. In this digital age, public relations (PR) plays an increasingly pivotal role in shaping and safeguarding a destination's image, further accentuated by the emergence of influencers reshaping tourism marketing dynamics. Utilising social media platforms for sharing travel experiences has revolutionised marketing strategies, with influencer collaborations amplifying destination exposure and appeal. This paper aims to comprehensively analyse the role of influencers in tourism PR through a SWOT approach, exploring their significance, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. By addressing critical questions and research objectives, this study aims to provide strategic insights into leveraging influencers effectively in Bali's tourism PR.

Abstract

The transformation of 5G technology has significantly impacted various aspects, including the tourism industry. With much higher speed and capacity than previous technologies, 5G enables the creation of more immersive and connected tourism experiences. Purpose This study explores the impact of implementing 5G technology on the tourist experience in certain destinations. Specific objectives include: Explain changes in the traveller experience following the implementation of 5G technology. Identify factors influencing traveller perception and satisfaction related to applying 5G technology. Analyse the challenges and opportunities of adopting 5G technology in the tourism sector. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach and SWOT analysis.

It explores crisis management, emphasising the importance of communication strategies for unexpected challenges. The SWOT analysis guides managers in aligning strengths with opportunities. Crisis communication involves organisational learning, ethical practices, prospective vision, and effective rhetoric. Management responsibilities in crises include risk assessment, plan development, transparent communication, media coordination, recovery, evaluation, and online information management.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of digital technology in tourism promotion, focusing on the transformative impact of social media, AI, and big data. Using qualitative methods and SWOT analysis, the paper discusses the challenges and opportunities in Indonesian tourism, emphasising the recent success of Mandalika MotoGP's digital PR activities. The results highlight the role of AI and big data in revolutionising market research, sentiment analysis, and crisis management. Despite challenges like data security and digital literacy, strategies to optimise digital technology in tourism PR are outlined, including improving ICT infrastructure and creating engaging digital content.

Abstract

This study aims to determine empirical evidence of the effect of tax awareness, service quality, and penalty sanctions on taxpayer compliance. This study used primary data by distributing questionnaires to taxpayers at KPP Pratama Jakarta Pancoran, the research object. The sampling used in this study was simple random sampling. The number of taxpayers sampled in this study was 100 respondents. Multiple linear regression analysis was used in SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science) version 25.0 to determine the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The test data used in this study is a test of validity and reliability. To test the hypothesis in this study, researchers used Test T and Test F. This research data shows that tax awareness and penalty sanctions positively and significantly affect individual taxpayer compliance. The service quality variable shows that the results do not affect taxpayer compliance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence between tax amnesty (tax amnesty) and taxpayer compliance and whether there is an influence between taxpayer awareness and taxpayer compliance. The research method used is the Incidental Sampling method. Primary data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents. The data analysis used is statistical analysis in the form of multiple linear regression tests. Data is processed using SPSS version 24 for Windows. Based on the results of the study, it show that Tax Amnesty (Tax Amnesty) has a positive and significant effect on Taxpayer Compliance. Likewise, Taxpayer Awareness has a positive and significant impact on Taxpayer Compliance.

Abstract

Tourism development occurs as part of the growing community's economic growth and is a planned and structured activity. Directions, policies, strategies, and programs for tourism development must be in line with and synergistic with the direction of national tourism development policies so as not to deviate from the goals of tourism development. Tourism development must follow the principles of sustainability, which combine ecological, social, and economic sustainability. This strategic approach to sustainable tourism is recommended for small-scale local management and benefits the whole community. As well as benefiting local communities, ecotourism has a direct contribution to conservation efforts. Starting from the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation stages, integrated management is needed that can integrate the interests of all stakeholders.

Abstract

Ciliwung River is located in an area that has a lot of tourism potential. This paper aims to examine visitors' perceptions and satisfaction of the uniqueness and potential of Ciliwung River coastal ecotourism. The coast of the Ciliwung River is an area that has interesting ecotourism potential, but is still not widely known by the public. This research is expected to provide a better understanding of visitor perceptions and satisfaction with the uniqueness and potential of Ciliwung River coastal ecotourism. The research method used is a qualitative method with descriptive analysis to identify visitor perceptions and satisfaction with the uniqueness and potential of Ciliwung River coastal ecotourism. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The research results obtained are that the Ciliwung River is an enchanting place, displaying natural charm and its utilization for various human activities. The tourist attraction on the Ciliwung River is a tourist attraction in the form of natural charm with beautiful views and surrounded by greenery giving a natural feel, so that the tourist attraction on the Ciliwung River needs to be developed in a sustainable manner using the concept of ecotourism to attract tourists and improve the quality and sustainability of tourist attractions

Abstract

The Ciliwung river area, which crosses the capital city of DKI Jakarta, has become an ecotourism and educational area in line with the improvement in water quality. This area has experienced various problems including coastal erosion, environmental damage, flooding, and poverty. In this case, it is necessary to work together between the government, the private sector, and the community to achieve a successful and sustainable recovery for the Ciliwung river coast. With the opening of ecotourism and educational tourism on the Ciliwung River, the general public to students can travel while learning the ins and outs, history and efforts to preserve the 120-kilometer river.
