Abstract

Pembelajaran menulis puisi berdasarkan gambar dengan pilihan kata yang menarik di kelas III A SDN Margamukti mengalami permasalahan. Oleh sebab itu, peneliti memilih metode Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) dengan teknik Awan Kata sebagai solusi. Di dalam penelitian ini menggunakan desain Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) Kemmis dan Taggart. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, perencanaan kinerja guru meningkat tiap siklusnya yaitu, siklus I 88,89%, siklus II 95,56%, dan siklus III 100%. Pelaksanaan kinerja guru mengalami peningkatan yaitu siklus I 66,67%, siklus II 97,49%, dan siklus III 100%. Aktivitas siswa mengalami peningkatan yaitu, siklus I 12,5%, siklus II 45,83%, dan siklus III 87,5%. Hasil belajar, siklus I siswa yang tuntas 41,67%, siklus II 83,33%, dan siklus III 95,83%. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa metode Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) dengan teknik Awan Kata sangat efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan siswa dalam menulis puisi berdasarkan gambar dengan pilihan kata yang menarik.Kata Kunci: Metode TAI, Teknik Awan Kata, Menulis Puisi Berdasarkan Gambar

Abstract

Kompetensi Dasar menyimpulkanisi cerita anak di kelas V SD Negeri Palasari Kabupaten Sumedang belum tercapai secara optimal. Masalah tersebut terjadi karena guru tidak memperhatikan penggunaan metode pembelajaran membaca yang tepat untuk diterapkan. Untuk itu dilakukan penelitian tindakan kelas menggunakan model Spiral dari Kemmis dan Taggart, dengan tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan perencanaan, kinerja guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan metode GIST melalui teknik IOC. Adapun hasil penelitian untuk kinerja guru baik dalam perencanaan maupun pelaksanaan mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya hingga mencapai target yang telah ditentukan yaitu 100%. Untuk aktivitas siswa, pada siklus I 32,2% siswa mendapat nilai baik sekali, pada siklus II menjadi 57,2%  siswa, dan pada siklus III 89,3% siswa. Untuk hasil belajar pada siklus I 39,3% siswa yang tuntas, siklus II 75% siswa dan siklus III 89,3% siswa. Dengan demikian, terjadi peningkatan proses dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan metode GIST melalui teknik IOC pada materi menyimpulkan isi cerita anak.Kata Kunci:   metode GIST, teknik IOC,  menyimpulkan isi cerita anak.

Abstract

Berdasarkan data awal di kelas V A SDN I Waruroyom Kecamatan Depok Kabupaten Cirebon, pada umumnya siswa kurang memahami materi pembelajaran. Hal ini disebabkan karena saat proses pembelajaran, guru tidak menggunakan metode atau media pembelajaran yang tepat. Hal ini menyebabkan hasil belajar siswa rendah. Tindakan perbaikan dengan menggunakan media kartu kwartet, sehingga tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan media kartu kwartet. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang mengacu kepada desain Kemmis dan Taggart. Data awal hanya 4 siswa yang tuntas dari 20 siswa. Pada siklus I siswa yang tuntas 9 siswa (45%). Pada siklus II, siswa yang tuntas 15 siswa (75%), dan pada siklus III siswa yang tuntas 18 siswa (90%). Hal ini melebihi target yang diharapkan, yaitu 85%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media kartu kwartet pada materi peninggalan sejarah Hindu-Buddha di Indonesia dalam mata pelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

The purposes of this observation is to describe the process, result, learning evaluation of ensemble music using gamelan degung media. This observation is a descriptive method observation using twelve fifth grade students from SDN Ambit Situraja Subdistric, Sumedang District. This observation using Miles Huberman model for data processing consist of data reduction, display data and conclution drawing/verification. The used instruments are observation sheets, interview and documentation guidance. The learning process of ensemble music using gamelan degung consists of several steps; (a) listening of ensemble music theory including of ensemble music performance using gamelan degung. (b) Gamelan degung instruments introduction. (c) motivating step to persuade the students to make them interest to play gamelan degung ensemble music. (d) teaching the playing techniques to play gamelan degung through how to hold and play the gamelan instruments. (e) giving simple music notation such as “Gambir Sawit” song to be learnt and played using gamelan degung. (f) doing intensive rehearsal  to play the song. (g) giving a result evaluation for the ensemble music lesson. The result of ensemble music learning using gamelan degung is the students skill to play gamelan degung as Nusantara culture. Aligned with the purposes of art education to conserve and  bequeath art to young generation. Learning ensemble music using gamelan degung’s evaluation held on simple performance using three assessment criteria, rote the song  (cognitive), gamelan degung playing technique (psychomotor) and attitude at the time of playing the gamelan degung (affective).

Abstract

This research is backgrounded by the problems that arise in the process and learning outcomes in the classroom. This research aims to improve student’s speaking ability of class VB SDN Cibeureum 1 on material commenting on factual issues by applying the model of learning picture and picture. The design of this research is refering to the design of spiral model research from Kemmis and Mc. Taggart (PTK). This study was result is conducted in three cycles, which is each cycle has increased. In the firts cycle student learning results obtained 60% percentage, in cycle II get the percentage 80%, increased in cycle III which has increased 5% become 85%. This result showed that in the application of picture and picture model can improve the abbility to speak in commenting factual issues.

Abstract

Dancing learning as part of art learning is a great contribution to improving the creativity of primary school aged children. The importance of dance learning is to prepare the child's condition to be able to channel his talents and creativity which will then culminate in a growing achievement of each child in a dance group. Primary school-aged children who follow the learning in the studio have the opportunity to master dancing skills. It is a creativity to preserve culture through the manifestation of beautiful movement. Case studies were selected as research designs that aimed to investigate and track the learning process of dance groups in the studio. Technique used in this research that is observation, interview, and field note, so that obtained data which give picture about dance learning which done. This research is done in studio Dwi Arta Production Ciwidey, Regency of South Bandung. Based on the research conducted, obtained some findings related to the description of dance learning process of dance groups of elementary school age children.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa pada materi sifat-sifat magnet. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan menggunakan model inkuiri. Model inkuiri adalah model pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada pembelajaran siswa aktif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan siklus I sampai III, maka model pembelajaran inkuiri dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan juga aktivitas siswa pada materi sifat-sifat magnet. Hal ini dapat tergambarkan pada aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa sebagai berikut. Untuk aktivitas siswa pada siklus I mencapai 32%, siklus II 64% dan siklus III 86%. Sedangkan untuk hasil belajar siklus I siswa yang dikatakan tuntas adalah sebanyak yaitu 45%, untuk siklus II 73%, dan untuk siklus III sebanyak 91%. Maka dari itu, penggunaan model inkuiri dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa mengenai materi sifat-sifat magnet di Kelas V SDN Sukajaya Kecamatan Jatinunggal Kabupaten Sumedang dikatakan berhasil.Kata kunci: Inkuiri, Sifat-sifat Magnet, Hasil Belajar.

Abstract

The purpose ofi this research is to know the effect of the contextual approach in improving student learning results on materials familiar with melodic instruments, as well as to know differences in student learning results using contextual approaches and conventional approaches in classroom students IV SDN Sukalilah. The method usedlin this research is anexperimentalimethodkwith pretestoposttestpcontrolpgroup design. Theppopulation in this researchmismthelfourth graders of elementary school in Pamulihan sub-district. While for the sample is the students of grade IVB SDN Sukalilah as experimentaliclass andlstudentslof class IVApSDNlSukalilah aska controloclass. The instrument used is a matter of student learning results with materials familiar with melodic instruments, observation, and interview. Result of research with significant level α = 0,05 indicate that learning with contextual approach can improve student learning result significantly than conventional learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the process of implementing the Kodaly method in teaching art in elementary school, the results of its application and also the factors that support and hinder the process. The method used was descriptive qualitative. The research subject was 3rd grader SDN Bangkir. The study lasted three meetings. Data collection techniques in this study was the observation, documentation, interviews and questionnaires. The research instrument used was a guide observation, interview, test and non test. The findings of this study was an overview of each process application Kodaly method with the results of 80% of the students have knowledge of notation symbols and 82.5% of students can read the notation using techniques from Kodaly Method. Based on the observations that have been made of the factors that support and hinder the enthusiasm of learning, motivation and enthusiasm for learning of each student.

Abstract

Creative thinking skills direct students to develop ideas and have more than one answer in problem solving. The method of group investigation is a method of learning that requires students to actively ask and express ideas. There is a connection between creative thinking skill and group investigation method, so this research is done to know the influence of group investigation method toward the creative skill of class V student on the material of natural disaster. The research method used is pre-experimental with descriptive one-group pretest-posttest research. The result of research with significance level α = 0,05 indicates that learning by using group investigation can improve the creative thinking skill of high, medium and low group student seen from test result of two difference of average pretest and posttets value of each group got result that is 0,000 . While the average difference test results of three moderate high moderate, and low obtained results 0.054. It can be concluded that there is no difference in the improvement of high, medium and low student group thinking skills.
