Abstract

This study aimed to produce a guideline for the social care educational game for the elementary school students which meet the criteria of accuracy, usefulness, simplicity and attractiveness. This was a research and development study adapted from Borg & Gall model by the data analysis technique using Wilcoxon. This study employed purposive sampling technique. The result of this study found that the guideline of social care educational game met the criteria of accuracy, usefulness, simplicity, and attractiveness for Elementary school students.

Abstract

Counseling competence is a set of essential abilities which is prominent to be employed in conducting counseling. This counseling competence research took students of counseling as a counselor candidate. This study aims to analyze the correlation between basic knowledge, basic communication skill, and cultural skill to the counseling competence. This work used Ex Post Facto Causal Relationship Explanatory research design. The research subjects were 120 students of Department of Guidance and Counseling from three State Universities in Java Island. Samples were taken by using cluster random sampling technique. The data analysis was conducted through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique. The research results show that there is a significant relationship between knowledge, basic attitude, basic communication skill and cultural skill to the counseling competence. The implication of this research finding to the education of the Department of Guidance and Counseling is the significance of considering the factors forming the academic counseling competence to produce the professional counselor candidate.

Abstract

Abstract: Problem solving skills are life skills. The purpose of this research is to develop a guide for adventure based counseling as a media in providing counseling services in schools. This study uses a Borg & Gall research and development approach, with 7 development steps. The data obtained in the form of quantitative and qualitative data. The research subjects are 2 material experts, 1 media expert and 2 potential users of the product. The results of the study showed an average index of product assessment was 2,6-3,25 with valid, useful, easy and interesting validity so that it can be concluded that the developed guide meets the criteria for product acceptance.Abstrak: Keterampilan problem solving merupakan life skill. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan panduan adventure based counseling sebagai salah satu media dalam pemberian layanan konseling di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan Borg & Gall, dengan 7 langkah pengembangan. Data yang diperoleh berupa data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Subyek penelitian yaitu 2 orang ahli materi, 1 orang ahli media dan 2 orang calon pengguna produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukan indeks rata-rata perolehan penilaian produk 2,6-3,25 dengan validitas tepat, berguna, mudah dan menarik sehingga dapat disimpulkan panduan yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria keberterimaan produk

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to obtain a comprehensive view of academic procrastination carried out by students in terms of cognitive, affective, and behavior. This study used a survey research method. The population of this research is high school students in East Java and the research sample is 200 students spread over Malang, Blitar, Bangkalan, and Lamongan. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor descriptions of students' academic procrastination were found. Counselors can use the findings of this study as the basis for developing BK services, especially in designing intervention strategies to reduce academic procrastination of high school students.

Abstract

Krisis moral tidak dapat dianggap sebagai sesuatu yang sepele karena tindakan tersebut menjurus pada tindakan kriminal. Menyikapi krisis moral yang cukup marak di lingkungan siswa akhir-akhir ini, maka dibutuhkan suatu intervensi untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas konseling realitas untuk meningkatkan perilaku moral siswa sekolah menengah atas (SMA). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan one grup prestest and posttest design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 10 Malang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistic descriptive uji wilcoxon signed rank test. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa setelah subjek diberi perlakuan berupa konseling realitas, terdapat peningkatan skor perilaku moral siswa pada ranah: (1) disiplin, (2) mengendalikan diri, (3) sopan santun, dan (4) kejujuran, hal ini berarti konseling realitas efektif untuk meningkatkan perilaku moral siswa.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research and development is to produce a culture based Cangkruk'an peer counseling training manual that can be used by peer counselors at school. Research and development uses the Borg and Gall 10 model and has been adjusted to the needs of researchers to 7 and uses quantitative analysis of the agreement of experts from the Grinelle model. First, preliminary studies, planning, making initial products in the form of manuals for peer counselors, validation expert tests, namely learning media experts, get an assessment percentage of 81% (very high) in terms of graphics, product content, and language. Second, two experts test Guidance and Counseling with an average percentage score of 73% (high) in terms of accuracy of usefulness and feasibility. Third, the validation of the cangkruk'an cultural experts got an average score of 92% (very high) in terms of accuracy and clarity. Fourth, the validation of the guidance and counsling Material expert is by five Counselor’s getting an average score of 64% accuracy (moderate). It can be concluded that all the results of the assessment from the validator of this guide product are in the Good category so they are suitable for use and continue to the next stage.Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah menghasilkan buku panduan pelatihan konseling sebaya berbasis budaya cangkruk’an yang nantinya dapat digunakan konselor sebaya di sekolah. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model Borg and Gall 10 tahap dan telah disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan peneliti menjadi tujuh tahap dan menggunakan analisis data verbal dan numerik tentang kesepakatan para ahli dari model Grinelle. Pertama, studi pendahuluan, perencanaan, pembuatan produk awal berupa buku panduan untuk konselor sebaya, uji ahli validasi yaitu ahli media pembelajaran mendapatkan persentase penilaian sebesar 81% (sangat tinggi) ditinjau dari segi kegrafisan, konten produk, dan kebahasaan. Kedua, dua orang uji ahli Bimbingan dan Konseling dengan skor persentase rata-rata 73% (tinggi) ditinjau dari ketepatan kegunaan dan kelayakan. Ketiga, validasi dari ahli budaya cangkruk’an mendapat skor rata-rata 92% (sangat tinggi) ditinjau dari ketepatan dan kejelasan. Keempat, validasi ahli materi BK yaitu oleh lima orang guru BK mendapatkan skor rata-rata ketepatan 64% (sedang). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa semua hasil penilaian dari validator produk panduan ini masuk pada kategori Baik sehingga layak digunakan dan dilanjutkan ke tahap berikutnya.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to produce a training guide product that meets the acceptance criteria. This study uses Borg & Gall  model research design. The data obtained in the form of quantitative data include aspects of accuracy, utility, propriety, and feasibility. The research subjects are BK experts, media experts, and potential users. The research instrument included BK experts instruments, media experts instrumen and scale of procrastination. Data analysis techniques used an interater agreement. The results show that the results from BK have a validity index 0,73 "medium" category, from media experts is 1 category "very high", and from prospective users is 1 "very high" category. It can be concluded that the developed guide meets the product acceptance criteria.Abstrak: Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan produk panduan pelatihan yang memenuhi kriteria keberterimaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian Borg & Gall. Data yang diperoleh berupa data kuantitatif mencakup aspek ketepatan, kegunaan, kemenarikan, dan kelayakan. Subjek penelitian yaitu ahli BK, ahli media, dan calon pengguna. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan mencakup instrumen uji ahli BK, uji ahli media dan skala prokrastinasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan interater agreement. Hasil uji lapangan menunjukkan hasil penilaian dari ahli BK memiliki indeks validitas sebesar 0,73 kategori “sedang”, dari ahli media yaitu 1 kategori “sangat tinggi”, dan dari calon pengguna yaitu 1 kategori “sangat tinggi”. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa panduan yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria keberterimaan produk.
