Abstract

Higher thinking skills must be possessed by students in facing 21st century education. Creative thinking skills are needed in various ways, especially in learning to improve student learning outcomes in class. So that text books are needed as a support for the learning process. For this reason, it is necessary to pay attention to whether the textbooks used are in accordance with the demands of the current 2013 curriculum. One of the curricula in the 2013 curriculum is the use of texts that can facilitate students' creative thinking skills. So it is necessary to analyze physics learning textbooks for class XI semester 2 on static fluid, temperature and heat materials as well as optical devices to find out whether the presentation of physics textbooks for class XI facilitates creative thinking skills. The population in this study were all textbooks for physics class XI published in Indonesia and used in West Sumatra. The samples used in this study were MK-ER textbooks and MR-TS textbooks. The results of the analysis show that the MR-TS physics textbook is a physics textbook with the highest level of availability of creative thinking indicators with a percentage of 38.69% in the less available category. While the MK-ER physical textbook has the lowest level of availability of creative thinking indicators with 37.68% results being in the less available category. Abstract

Noise can affect a person's health and comfort. Noise can cause mood disorders, anxiety, and stress. One of the efforts to control noise is the selection of acoustic materials. The utilization of these materials can use as panels that can muffle sound, thereby reducing noise.  In this study, bagasse fiber, polypropylene plastic waste, and paper sludge were used as materials in the manufacturing of composite panels. The method used is the impedance tube method. The greaterzthe sound absorption coefficient, the betterethe material is used as a sound dampening material. In this study, the composition of polypropylene plastic and paper sludge was 40:60, and variations in fiber composition of 0%,1%,2%,3% of the total weight of the composite panel. The bagasse fiber used is a fiber that has been alkalized to a good mechanical interlocking between the fiber and the matrix.Based on the results, the highestasound absorptionrcoefficienteis 0.98 atea frequency of 8000 Hzsfor a 3% fiber composition. The lowest soundeabsorptionrcoefficient is 0.63 at arfrequency of 2000eHz, for a 0% fiber composition. The more fiber composition used in the composite panel, the higher the resulting sound absorption coefficient. More bagasse fibers can increase the pores and thickness of the composite panel so it can absorb the sound that passes through it. The greater the soundaabsorption coefficient, the better the materialeis used as sound material. All sample variations meet the standard requirements as noise materials in buildings, namely 0.15

Abstract

Education in the twenty-first century is significant because it is intended to improve the quality of human resources. Curriculum becomes an expectation in this situation, and it is poured into the shape of instructional plans or programs implemented by educators in schools. A number of factors contribute to low student learning results in Physics classes, one of which is the curriculum. Learning objectives are less likely to be met when a curriculum is dense. A curriculum analysis can be used to discover the best answer to this situation. The goal of this research was to examine the high school curriculum in order to create physics learning games that included scientific literacy. This was a descriptive research project utilizing a qualitative approach. The participants in this study were all students from Padang high schools. The Stratified Random Sampling Technique was applied also as sampling technique. The sample was chosen based on school accreditation and the Physics UN Score for the 2018/2019 academic year at Padang City High School. In this study, the sample comprised of five institutions: three public high schools and two private high schools. The investigation was conducted by reviewing RPP Physics Class X MIPA SMA records from semesters 1 and 2.Measurement, Vector, Straight Motion, Parabolic Motion, Circular Motion, Newton's Laws, Law of Gravity, Work and Energy, Momentum and Impulse, and Simple Harmonic Vibration make up the current percentage of lesson plans from three high schools. Simple Harmonic Vibration Material has the highest average RPP %, whereas Straight Motion Material has the lowest average RPP percentage. Because the study of RPP papers yielded a low proportion, it can be determined that the Straight Motion Material is a learning game media.
