Abstract

Self help book is believed as an alternative method to help someone in order to help himself dealing with the psychological problems that they had experienced. One of the psychological problems which very vulnerable to be experienced by someone that working is emersion of burnout symptoms. The researcher has interviewed Counseling Guidance’s (BK) teacher to find the factor that caused emersion of burnout symptoms of work, from the interview some informations has gathered about the causes of Counseling Guidance's teacher experienced burnout symptoms, among others because the number of Counseling Guidance teachers in the school with an unbalanced number of students and unclear duties and roles assigned to Counseling Guidance teachers. Other that, there were many Counseling Guidance teachers did not have an appropriate knowledge with the qualification that have been determined. Every individual has a different level of burnout symptoms and the impact that they experienced was also different. The level of burnout symptoms could be reduced or even eliminated by determining the appropriate method, one of them by counseling approach of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) using guided imagery technique.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to describe the profile of the career selection ability of students in the science department of SMA Negeri 7 Bekasi before and after group guidance services were carried out with group exercise techniques and the effect of group guidance with group exercise techniques on the career selection abilities of students in science majors at SMAN 7 Bekasi City. The research method used is an experimental design with a nonequivalent (pretest-posttest) control group design. The population is 180 students and the sample is 40 students taken by random sampling. The data collection technique is a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used is the Independent Samples Test. The results showed that there was a significant effect of providing group guidance with group exercise techniques on the career selection skills of students majoring in science at SMAN 7 Bekasi City.Keywords: group guidance; group exercise techniques; career selection skillsTujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan profil kemampuan pemilihan karier siswa Jurusan IPA SMA Negeri 7 Bekasi sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik group exercise dan pengaruh bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik group exercise terhadap kemampuan pemilihan karier siswa jurusan IPA SMAN 7 Kota Bekasi. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat kreativitas guru sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK) dan menganalisis bagaimana proyeksi kreativitas mereka ditinjau dari indikator product, attitudes dan behaviour. Populasi penelitian ini guru yang mengajar di Sekolah Menegah Kejuruan (SMK) Negeri 58 di provinsi DKI Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini metode kuantitatif dengan model analisis deskriptif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik non-probability sampling dengan jenis teknik purposive sampling. Hasil perhitugan penelitian di SMKN 58 pada tanggal 6 September 2019 ini menggambarkan bahwa tingkat kreativitas guru SMK berada dalam kategori tinggi. Kata Kunci : tingkat kreativitas, guru, sekolah menengah kejuruan

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan remaja untuk dapat diterima oleh lingkungannya. Salah satunya  adalah yang memiliki kecerdasan interpersonal. Kecerdasan interpersonal menjadi penting  karena pada dasarnya  remaja tidak dapat hidup sendiri.  Banyak kegiatan dalam hidup  terkait dengan orang lain. Remaja yang gagal  mengembangkan kecerdasan interpersonal akan banyak mengalami hambatan dalam dunia sosial. Akibatnya mereka mudah tersisihkan  secara sosial. Penelitian  bertujuan untuk  mendapatkan gambaran kecerdasan interpersonal melalui penerapan pendekatan konseling islami terhadap peserta didik SMA Negeri 15 Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen, dengan sampel sebanyak 31 peserta didik. Penerapan konseling islami terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan interpersonal. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur skala kecerdasan interpersonal (SKI)  yang dikembangkan peneliti  dan terdiri dari 54 butir soal dengan  empat jawaban  pilihan. Indeks reliabilitas  sebesar 0,947  sehingga dapat dikatakan instrumen tersebut reliabel yang selanjutnya dapat digunakan sebagai alat ukur.  Secara umum kecerdasan interpersonal peserta didik 69% pada sempel penelitian  berada pada  katagori sedang.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of applying group guidance with a positive behavior support approach to improve student discipline. The method used is true experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The experimental group received group guidance for 9 sessions and in the control group did not receive training. The population in this research were class VIII students of SMP Negeri 229 Jakarta. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling, the sample in this study amounted to 20 people who had a low discipline category and were divided into two groups namely 10 experimental group students and 10 control group students. While the technique of analyzing data using descriptive statistics using empirical mean to see the average pretest and posttest scores in the experimental group and the control group. Can be seen from the comparison of the pretest score 274 and posttest 392 in the experimental group and get a score of 118 which means an increase of 69.8%. The results of testing the hypothesis with the Wilcoxson test, a signed ranking test indicates that the value of Asymp. Sig of 0.005 <0.05 (Significant) which means that through the results of the calculation can be interpreted as a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group and can prove what is meant by the guidance group that requires positive behavioral support to increase student discipline

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan proses wawancara. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahw pengetahuan konselor tentang etika profesionalisme konselor sudah cukup baik. Namun, dari sisi pengetahuan konselor terhadap konseling dalam setting komunitas masih kurang baik, terlihat dari responden konselor yang kami wawancarai belum pernah melakukan sesi konseling dalam setting komunitas dan tidak banyak mengetahui mengenai konseling pada setting komunitas.

Abstract

The research objective is to identify the conditions of basic empathy student Counseling in DKI Jakarta. This research used a descriptive study with 294 sample of students counseling from 5 universities in Jakarta; Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr Hamka Jakarta (UHAMKA), Universitas Islam As-Syafi'iyah Jakarta, Universitas  Atma Jaya and Universitas Kristen Indonesia (UKI). The research instrument used Basic Empathy Scale (BES) from Jollive & David (2006) with r 0.857.  The analysis of the level of basic empathy was in percentage (descriptive analysis) with SPSS version 20. This study has found condition of basic empathy of students counseling in Jakarta at the high level category of 16.91%, middle category of 67.98%, and 15.11% lower. From these findings indicate necessary to improvement and development of basic empathy students' condition.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the code of ethics for online counseling by integrating information technology in guidance and counseling services. This research method is a literature study using secondary data sources collected through textbooks, e-books, scientific articles, websites, and other sources relevant to the research problem which are then analyzed descriptively. The result of this study is the rapid development of technology in various fields, which has an impact on the integration of the counseling process in the technology. Through technological intermediaries, counseling no longer has to be done face-to-face. Among the advantages and disadvantages of online counseling, the professional code of ethics for counselors still needs to be maintained. One form of supervision is supervision. Counselors, both online and face-to-face counseling, are required to improve their ability to deal with counselee problems in accordance with the provisions of Permendikbud No. 111 of 2014.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the ethics and competence of counselors as professionals in providing guidance and counseling services. The research method used is a systematic literature study. This systematic literature review contains explanations and descriptions of theories, findings and research materials obtained from databases of national and international journal providers through the Google Scholar platform, and then analyzed descriptively. The result of this research is that ethics and competencies must be possessed by a counselor as the basis for the profession he adheres to. Counselor education is one way to develop competencies for prospective counselors. The competence of the counselor as an agent for counseling guidance services is stated in government regulation No. 19 of 2005 article 28 paragraph 3, namely: competence as a service agent at the level of primary and secondary education and early childhood education which includes pedagogic competence, personality, professional and social competence. Professional counselors must have a strong determination to be able to help others and have a positive nature to be able to view the counselee as a human being who has different values, religious teachings, cultures and backgrounds.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the ethics of implementing online-based counseling using media and technology during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method uses literature review by collecting reading materials from various sources with readings, comparing theories and research results regarding the use of technology media in the implementation of counseling, which are then analyzed descriptively. The result of this literature review is that the implementation of guidance and counseling using media and technology provides advantages and disadvantages. The advantages are related to the convenience obtained by BK / Counselor teachers in pre, implementation and post implementation of BK activities related to administration or guidance and counseling services. While the disadvantages are regarding public trust regarding the competence of implementing online counseling and the limitations of the media in its implementation, so that the maximum application of ethics in the implementation of online counseling is needed in order to anticipate the losses incurred.
