Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of Nibe to Working Capital Gain and equity costs of case studies on the effects of manufacturing companies on Bursa Efek  Indonesia (BEI). The samples used in this research is a group of companies manufacturing the category of companies whose shares are actively traded on the Stock Exchange always during peeode observations (2007-2010). The number of samples obtained by category amounted to 19 companies over a period of 4 years. Secondary data was obtained from the Indonesia Stock excange (IDX) annual statistics for the period 2007 to 2010. The analysis used in this study is multiple regression techniques (multiple regression) to test the hypothesis t-test and F-test at the 5% level of significance (α = 0.05). Hypothesis test results indicate that the variable income and variable working capital Nibe together equally significant effect on the cost of equity. This result indicates that these two variables are jointly able to significantly influence the cost of equity. The test results also found that working capital and cost of equity has a negative and significant effect, because it has the value of the Standardized Beta Coefficiens 0000 0601 and its significance is greater than alpha (0.05). Abstract

In conducting the auditing, the auditor should have the competence dimension of knowledge. It can be analyzed through therespondents answers to the statements relating to the competence dimension of knowledge of an auditor. The purpose of this studyis to see if there is a statement to the effect of the respondents answer and whether there is a correlation between the grain statements.The method used analysis of auditor competence dimension of knowledge in performing auditing and other data collected byquestinaires distributed to 30 Public Auditor offices in Jakarta. The result showed that no significant differences from respondentsanswers to the statement items relating to the auditor’s competence of knowledge dimension

Abstract

The observed inappropriateness comes from textbooks used in teaching young learners are too difficult, dominated by written form, unspecific, and decontextualized interactive multimedia. Hence, the researcher would like to develop Thematic English Multimedia (TEM) for teaching vocabulary to young learnersat kindergarten B of Islamic Centre Purwodadi, Grobogan. This study employed R&D Design proposed by Borg and Gall (2003:772). Seven stages employed were information and research collecting, planning, developing, validating, revising, try out, and producing final TEM. Observation, interview, validation, performance-based assessment, and pre also post-test were administered to collect data. From results of collected data, they were found that applying TEM got positive perspectives toward teaching and learning process. In line with above statements, TEM is effective and feasible to teach young learners at kindergarten B of Islamic Centre Purwodadi, Grobogan.

Abstract

Titania (TiO2) merupakan salah satu material fotokatalis yang banyak diteliti dewasa ini kerena mempunyai banyak keunggulan dan aplikasi. Secara umum TiO2 masih memiliki kelemahan karena luas permukaannya yang rendah, tingginya laju rekombinasi elektron dan hole (e- dan h+), serta besarnya nilai energi band gap. SintesisTiO2 dengan morfologi nanotube array (TNTAs) secara anodisasi menarik banyak para peneliti karena meningkatkan luas permukaan TiO2, dan mengefektifkan penyerapan foton dan transport elektron pada proses fotokatalisis. Untuk mengurangi laju rekombinasi e- dan h+ serta memperkecil nilai energi band gap, modifikasi TiO2 nanotube dengan dopan logam maupun non logam tertentu juga sering dilakukan agar fotokatalis tersebut memberikan kinerja yang lebih baik. Review ini difokuskan pada kemajuan terkini dari TiO2 nanotube, terutama dalam hal sintesis TNTAs secara anodisasi, modifikasi TNTAs, serta potensi aplikasinya dalam produksi hidrogen dan pengolahan limbah.

Abstract

The discription of human’s psyche and motivation was besides discribed by general psychology it was also done in the Islamic psychology. Human psyche and motivation in general psychology is more emphasized on the worldly interests, meanwhile the psyche and motivation in Islam bisides containts the worldy interests it also includes the religious belief to firmly believe in the truth of Islamic doctrines. These points of differences is more caused by the opinion paradigm used. The object of general psychology is the real facts, meanwhile in the Islamic psychology besides views the materials also perceives the immaterials. The Islamic psychology containts the elements related to religious preferences for the shake of religious or belief interests, meanwhile it is less or nothing in general psychology. The aspect of religious is the special charecteristic of Islamic psychology compared with general psychology or others.

Abstract

The present study reports several impacts of implementing multimedia toward teaching and learning process in speaking class at second grade students of Galuh University, Ciamis. Further, the study came from insights on students’ boredom during speaking class which affected their achievement and motivation.  Mixed method research design (Creswell, 2013) then employed to answer several proposed hypotheses. For proving the result of its application, observation, questionnaire, pre and post-test were administered to collect the data while both quantitative and qualitative approaches were applied to analyze the collected data from classroom practices. The research findings indicates that  multimedia in speaking class got positive responds from students in term of motivation and accomplishment. The great look portrayed from the class that students were enthusiastic, got involved and interested in multimedia provided by teacher during learning process. Moreover, pre and post-tests that are performace-based tests were greatly used to test the effectiveness of multimedia effects during the class. In this side, the researcher employed experiment of two equivalent groups: control and experimental group. It then reported that t-test related is 2.04  out of 1.70 for  t- distribution which points out that there is significant difference between the results of both tests. It means that the result of this research agreed that multimedia has good effects for teaching speaking in the scope of students’ interests, feedback and their cognitive aspects. In line with above statements, the further studies is also necessary  dealing with other multimedia for obtaining more positive effects toward learning process and those result enables to increase quality of education.

Abstract

Udang Vanamei (litopenaeus vannamei) merupakan salah satu jenis udang introduksi yang akhirakhir ini banyak diminati, karena memiliki keunggulan tahan terhadap penyakit dan pertumbuhannya cepat (80-100) hari. Saat ini banyak daerah-daerah pertanian yang di manfaatkan menjadi tambak seperti di Tuban dan Lamongan.  Fuzzy mamdani merupakan salah satu metode yang mampu menghitung dan memprediksi sesuai dengan data kriteria-kriteria yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan nilai optimal dalam sebuah proses khususnya pada permasalah budidaya udang vanamei. Disini peneliti membuat sistem dengan metode fuzzy mamdani agar dapat memudahkan petani dalam menentukan optimal, normal dan tidak optimalnya hasil panen. Dalam proses perhitungan fuzzy mamdani ini selanjutnya akan dibuat dalam suatu program dimana data-data akan tersimpan di database MySql dan bahasa pemprograman akan menggunakan PHP.  Dari data-data yang diperoleh maka bisa dihitung dari inputan luas tambak, bibit, pakan, dan pupuk akan didapatkan hasil optimasinya. Dari adanya program ini diharapkan bisa mempermudah proses budidaya dengan perhitungan yang lebih cepat dan akurat.

Abstract

Writing, one of the four skills which have to be taught by educators in language learning. Starting from classroom observation implied that students confronted the difficulties in writing involving generating ideas, organizing words, and making compositions. This study supposes to explore some effects of pop culture as authentic materials for English language teaching in improving students’ writing skill. Due to pop culture relates to students’ life and experience, it is considered to be a stimulus for gaining students’ ideas, information, motivation, and interest in teaching writing. The students of secondary school were involved in this study and descriptive case study was employed to observe the importance of pop culture in writing class. Also, questionnaires and students’ works are the instruments to measure its effects. Both students’ works and result of the questionnaires pointed out that significantly improvement obtained after applying pop culture. In line with findings, it can be said that pop cultures have significant effects toward students’ writing skill. So, educators need to apply pop culture as their choices in future planning lesson. Abstract

Partisipasi perempuan dalam perencaanaan pembangunan dan penganggaran dalam Musyawarah Perencanaan Pembangunan (Musrenbang) selama ini ternyata masih memiliki hambatan. Sebagai upaya penyelesaiannya, Pemerintah Kota Banda Aceh merumuskan strategi baru berupa Musyawarah Rencana Aksi Perempuan (Musrena) yang memberikan kesempatan partisipasi penuh pada perempuan sebagai upaya pengarusutamaan gender (PUG) dan Anggaran Responsif Gender (ARG) dari tingkat yang paling rendah yaitu desa/gampong. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengelaborasi secara komprehensif tentang inovasi Musrena di Kota Banda Aceh. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, data dalam penelitian ini didapatkan dari Focused Group Discussion (FGD), wawancara mendalam (Indepth-interview) dan desk-study (studi dokumen/dokumentasi). Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1. Tumbuhnya motivasi dan kesadaran wanita di tingkat Gampong, kota/kabupaten untuk ikut berpartisipasi dalam perencaanaan pembangunan dan penganggaran yang responsif gender. 2. Musrena berbasis prinsip kesetaraan, anggaran yang berkeadilan gender, musyawarah dialogis, anti dominasi, keberpihakan kepada kelompok rentan, anti diskriminasi, dan pembangunan secara holistik. Based on the lack of women participation in development planning and budgeting within the Development Planning Meeting (Musrenbang), the government of Banda Aceh formulate a new strategy in the form of Council Action Plan for Women (Musrena) which provides an opportunity and full participation for women as gender mainstreaming (PUG) and the Gender Responsive Budgeting (ARG) on the lowest level; the village (gampong). This study aims to elaborate comprehensively on innovation of Musrena in Banda Aceh. Through a qualitative approach, the data in this study was obtained from Focused Group Discussion (FGD), interview (in depth-interview) and desk-study (documentation). The results of this study are: 1. Growth of motivation and awareness level of women in the village, city /county to participate in development planning and gender responsive budgeting. 2. Musrena based on the principles of: equality, gender fairly budgets, dialogical negotiation, anti-dominant, partiality, anti-discrimination, and holistic principle.

Abstract

Vapor pressures and saturated liquid molar volumes of hydrocarbons up to n-C16 were predicted using equations of states. The equations of states used were Redlich-Kwong (RK), Mohsen Nia et al.-Redlich-Kwong (MRK), Saave-Redlich-Kwong (SRK), and Peng-Robinson (PR). The calculated values were compared to the experimental data extracted from various sources. The results indicated that PR eos was superior among the others.
