Abstract

School-based management can also be considered as a model of school management that gives autonomy to school principals to make decisions by involving all relevant elements such as teachers, administrative staff, as well as the community and parents of students, with this decentralization giving schools the ability to make policies. - policies regarding the preparation of school development programs in order to improve the quality of schools in accordance with the service standards that have been set. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of teacher participation in school-based management along with the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of teacher participation in school-based management in cluster I, Ampek Nagari sub-district. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data collection techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The subjects in this study were madrasa heads, school committees, and teachers. The results of this study are the implementation of teacher participation in school-based management in cluster I, Ampek Nagari sub-district including: Teacher participation related to school policies, school transparency to teachers, school independence in empowering teacher potential. The factors supporting and inhibiting teacher participation in school-based management in cluster I of the Ampek Nagari sub-district include the following: 1) The supporting factors are the leadership of the madrasa head, the availability of facilities and infrastructure, the existence of BOS funding support from the government. 2) The inhibiting factor comes from several teachers who still don't understand using technology.

Abstract

Coaching adalah kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh coach yang tujuannya adalah untuk meningkatkan kinerja para coachee. Peran ini merupakan salah satu peran yang harus dimiliki kepala sekolah. Coaching dilakukan setelah kepala sekolah melakukan supervisi terhadap guru kelas tersebut.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan coaching model alur TIRTA oleh kepala sekolah dalam mensupervisi guru di sekolah. Metode penelitian ini adalah studi kepustakaan dengan pendekatan kualitatif, subjek penelitiannya adalah kepala sekolah dan guru. Kita tahu dari penelitian bahwa supervisi dilakukan setidaknya dua kali selama satu tahun ajaran. Coaching model TIRTA terdiri dari Tujuan (T), Identifikasi (I) Rencana Aksi (R),Tanggung Jawab (TA).

Abstract

In schools there is what we are familiar with the term "Policy Management". Every process in the world of education has a goal just like policy management in elementary schools which has set goals and must be achieved at every point. There are various kinds of goals including short term goals (in the near future), medium goals and long term goals. Talking about school management policies, of course we are curious about the true purpose of policy management in schools and what effect they have on the quality of student learning. Students are required to be active and creative but is that enough in policy management at school? Of course not, there are many factors driving the success of improving the quality of student learning. . Policy management in schools can be interpreted as a management model that provides autonomy and flexibility to schools while at the same time spurring the participation of school members (both teachers, students, principals, employees) directly to improve the quality and quality of schools based on national education standard policies and laws and regulations. implemented. The purpose of this paper is to find out the role of school management in improving the quality of education for elementary school students. Abstract

In order to achieve the goals of national education based on the 1945 Constitution, participation from related parties is needed in managing education, both from administration to management of BOS funds. The principal has managerial, supervisory and entrepreneurial duties. The purpose of this study was to determine the management of school principals in managing School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds in elementary schools. This study uses a qualitative approach, by collecting data from previous research and then looking at the results of interviews, observations, and documentation by respondents, namely the school principal. The method used in this research is a literature review of books, scientific articles, and literature sources of books, scientific articles, and other literary sources. The results of this literature study are that schools are carried out with several processes, namely starting with designing a School Budget Activity Plan (RKAS) which involves school committees, BOS treasurers, teacher assemblies and staff, in the development and use of BOS funds, namely taking into account the 8 National Education Standards ( SNP) and monitoring and evaluation from related parties or the BOS TEAM. Reports of BOS funds can be reported manually and online.

Abstract

Globalization has raised concerns about the celebration of the Indonesian nation's day. The flow of informatics and telecommunications has actually created a tendency towards the fading of cultural values. This study aims to identify the impact of globalization on human resources in elementary schools. This research is a non-research research, namely library research. Literature or libraries used in this research are books, journal articles, proceedings, and research reports as listed in the bibliography. The results of globalization research have positive and negative impacts, especially in the elementary school environment including easy access to information in the field of education, can improve the quality of education, can encourage students to create innovative works and globalization can reduce student morale.

Abstract

The existence of an educational institution lies in the quality of the human resources produced by the institution, because in essence the establishment of an educational institution aims to improve the quality of human resources. This study focuses on performance appraisal as a basis for decision-making in improving teacher competence at SDN 04 Sikabu. The purpose of this research is to assist teachers and school staff in making decisions in order to improve their competency in doing work effectively and efficiently. This research is a library research. The data collection technique uses documentary studies, while the data analysis uses content analysis. The results of this study indicate that in educational institutions, performance appraisal is a formal system used to evaluate performance periodically, and the results can be used for decision making in the context of development, rewarding, planning, compensation and motivation. It is hoped that the results of performance appraisal as a basis for decision making in improving teacher competence at SDN 04 Sikabu are expected to be useful in determining various policies related to quality improvement. Performance appraisal is a reference for policy makers or stakeholders to determine career development, periodization and continuous professional development. For schools and teachers, performance appraisal is a reference to find out what elements teachers must do to improve the quality of their work.

Abstract

This study discusses and analyzes the principal's policies in improving the quality of education. b Based on the study through the literature review that was tried, the principal's policy steps in improving the quality of education, namely policy formulation, policy implementation, policy evaluation. As we know, schools are required to improve the quality of education. The purpose of this research is to create a school principal's policy to lead and manage school activities and in conclusion it can improve teacher performance, so as to improve student learning achievement, provide Human Resources (HR) and improve teacher performance through managing activities in schools that built by the principal.

Abstract

Differentiated learning is a learning strategy that emphasizes accommodating individual student differences in the learning process. In the context of an independent curriculum, differentiated learning is an effective strategy to accommodate individual student differences. The purpose of this research is to provide a clearer and deeper understanding of differentiated learning as a form of implementation of the Independent Curriculum policy. The research method used in this study is a literature review. Data collection techniques include searching the internet for articles, books, slides, and information. The results of the study show that differentiated learning is a form of independent learning, which is a form of implementation of an independent curriculum that aims to give students freedom in learning according to their learning styles, interests, and ways of learning. By implementing differentiated learning, learning becomes meaningful for students because they are served according to their needs so that they are actively involved in learning and the goals of education can be achieved.

Abstract

Adanya tantangan-tantangan yang dihadapi oleh guru sebagai penyelenggara kebijakan pendidikan di sekolah dalam hal pelaksanaan pembelajaran di kelasnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tantangan-tantangan yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas beserta solusinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Rancangan penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan pendekatan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan tantangan-tantangan yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas sebagai penyelenggara kebijakan di sekolah beserta solusinya, yaitu: 1) Tidak adanya dukungan pengembangan keprofesionalan untuk guru, dengan solusi, guru yang mengikuti pelatihan berbagi ilmu kepada guru lain; 2) Karakter siswa yang sulit diubah ke arah lebih baik, dengan solusi minta bantuan masyarakat, konsultasi pada profesional; 3) Fasilitas sarana dan prasarana seperti media dan alat peraga yang kurang terpenuhi, dengan solusi mengoptimalkan sumber daya yang ada dan teknologi; 4) Pelaksanaan pendidikan inklusi tanpa mengasah kompetensi guru dalam menangani anak ABK dengan solusi, memberikan pelatihan tenaga pendidik; 5) Orang tua yang tidak mau diajak bekerja sama dengan solusi, minta bantuan pimpinan atau kepala sekolah bahkan konselor. Mengetahui hal tersebut diharapkan mampu mengatasi tantangan yang selama ini dihadapi oleh guru.

Abstract

There are challenges faced by teachers as education policy implementers in schools regarding the implementation of learning in their classrooms. This study aims to describe the challenges faced by teachers in improving the quality of learning in the classroom along with their solutions. This research used qualitative research methods with a descriptive design and an interview approach. The results of the study concluded that the challenges faced by teachers in improving the quality of learning in the classroom as policy implementers in schools, along with their solutions, are: 1) The lack of support for teacher professional development, with the solution being that teachers who have undergone training should share their knowledge with other teachers; 2) Difficulties in changing the character of students for the better, with the solution being to seek help from the community and consult professionals; 3) Inadequate facilities and infrastructure such as media and teaching aids, with the solution being to optimize existing resources and technology; 4) The implementation of inclusive education without honing teachers' competencies in handling children with special needs, with the solution being to provide training for educators; and 5) Uncooperative parents, with the solution being to seek help from school leaders or counselors. By knowing these challenges, it is hoped that teachers will be able to overcome the challenges they have faced.
