Abstract

This research found out the implementation of management information systems in SMP N 1 Talamau. We used qualitative research methods. The result showed that the existing management information system meets standards, both in terms of students, curriculum, human resources, facilities and quality of users, who are able to manage the activities that exist in schools. Then, the role of parents is also important in implementing management information systems to improve the quality of education in SMP N 1 Talamau, implementing special strategies that utilize information technology-based management information systems, namely information and consultation rooms that function as a center for consultation between schools and parents in providing access to parents to see the development of students' academic values.

Abstract

Salah yang menjadi masalah pada setiap organisasi adalah pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana yang merupakan aset organisasi. Permasalahan aset yang belum dikelola dengan efektif dapat berdampak kepada para pimpinan organisasi sebagai pengelolah organisasi. Untuk daerah Sumatera Barat terdapat 12 miliyar aset yang masih bermasalah. Daerah Kecamatan IV Jurai Pesisir Selatan juga memiliki masalah dalam pengelolaan aset. Belum banyak sekolah dan instansi pemerintah yang mampu mengelola aset dengan efektif. Permasalahan ini disebabkan, belum kompetennya pengelola aset dalam melaksanakan tugasnya untuk melakukan perencanaan, pengadaan, penyaluran, inventarisasi, pemeliharaan dam penghapusan sarana dan prasarana sekolah dan instansi pemerintah. Solusi yang diberikan untuk menyelesaikan masalah dan harapan tersebut adalah dengan dilakukan workshop tentang manajemen aset untuk seluruh sekolah dan organisasi pemerintahan di wilayah Kecamatan IV Jurai Pesisir Selatan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan 4 bentuk. Pada kegiatan pertama dilakukan analisis kebutuhan melalui komunikasi, kerjasama dengan pemerintah kecamatan dan sekolah. Pada kegiatan kedua dilakukan transfer ilmu melalui workshop untuk seluruh pengelola aset sekolah dan instansi pemerintah. Pada kegiatan ketiga, dilakukan bimtek (bimbingan teknik) untuk proses inventarisasi sarana dan prasarana. Untuk kegiatan selanjutnya dilakukan evaluasi kegiatan dan balikan dari peserta.

Abstract

Nagari Baruang-Baruang Balantai Selatan adalah salah satu nagari di Kecamatan Koto XI Tarusan, Pesisir Selatan yang baru melakukan pemekaran dari Nagari Baruang Balantai di Kecamatan Koto XI Tarusan, Pesisir Selatan, Sumatera Barat, Indonesia. Potensi daerah ini sangat besar karena memiliki sumber daya alam yaitu sebagai penghasil pala, cengkeh, manggis dan penghasil durian yang banyak. Kemudian nagari ini juga memiliki peluang untuk pengembangan daerah pendidikan karena memiliki pondok pesantren. Sehingga dapat dijadikan pusat pendidikan yang terintegrasi nilai-nilai karakter di Kecamatan XI Tarusan. Namun, permasalahannya adalah pondok pesantren di nagari ini belum termanajemen dengan baik, belum adanya rencana pengembangan sekolah, dan pemerintah nagari pun belum memiliki rencana pengembangan pendidikan untuk mengembangkan pondok pesantren tersebut. Untuk itulah sangat perlu dilakukan manajemen sekolah/pondok pesantren dan manajemen nagari untuk membuat rencana pengembangan nagari dan pendidikan. Rencana ini akan merumuskan program-program nagari yang diintegrasikan dengan nilai-nilai karakater dan berbasiss teknologi informasi (revolusi industri 4.0). Kegiatan ini difokuskan pada pendidikan yang dilaksanakan tiga tahap kegiatan, yaitu tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Bentuk kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui pelatihan, workshop dan bimbingan teknik (bimtek) tentang manajemen sekolah/ponpes, perencanaan pengembangan sekolah/ponpes, pembuatan program sekolah/ponpes yang diintegrasikan dengan nilai-nilai karakter berbasis revolusi industri, tugas kepala sekolah dan guru. Hasil dari kegiatan ini sekolah/ponpes memiliki rencana pengembangan dan program sekolah terintegrasikan dengan nilai-nilai karakter berbasiss teknologi informasi.

Abstract

This paper is based on the problem that there has been an increase in violence against children during the pandemic of the corona viruse desease-19 which is popular with covid-19. The review begins with the development of Covid-19 in Indonesia and the world and is continued with Covid-19 on violence perpetrated by the environment against children. Children are entrusted by the Almighty who must be cared for and considered for their growth and development. It is not uncommon for violence against children from adults to be broadcast on mass media or social media in the form of physical violence "physical abuse" and "physical abuse" psychological violence. There are three places where violence against children occurs, namely: 1) household; 2) schools, and 3) communities. In each of these areas, violence can be committed by children of the same age, older children, adults, or people with mental disorders. It is the duty of all parties to take precautions against violence or to take measures against them if violence has occurred. One of the agencies in Indonesia that tackles violence against children is the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI). During a pandemic, the government issued a “General Guidelines for Child Protection for Handling Covid-19” which contained, among other things, 1) every child has the right to protection and clear information about the prevention and transmission of Covid-19; 2) protected from all forms of violence, exploitation, neglect, mistreatment and TIP; and 3) Ensuring psychosocial, health, education and privacy guarantees for children. If it is related to the pedagogical function, it is very urgent to educate everyone who is in the three realms of causes of violence in children during the Covid-19 period.Keywords: Covid-19; Violence in Children; Prevention; pedagogical function.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information about teacher perceptions of ethical behavior of principals as supervisors at SDN in Nagari Balah Aie, Kec. VII Koto Sungai Sarik Kab. Padang Pariaman. Ethical behavior includes the characteristics related to personality and democratic supervisors expectations of all parties. The ethical behavior of principals as supervisors is very important in getting maximum supervision results. This type of research is a descriptive study with a population of 43 people. Thus this research is called population research. The results showed that the teacher's perception of the principal's ethical behavior as a supervisor was good with a score of 4.0. Viewed from the aspect of personality related to being in the good category with a score of 4.1. Furthermore, in the aspect of a democratic supervisor the expectations of all parties are also in the good category with a score of 3.9. As for what needs to be considered again is the attitude of sympathy for the teacher by providing assistance and asking in advance the obstacles faced by the teacher in learning. Then a firm and objective (impartial) attitude by giving sanctions and a firm attitude towards negligent teachers regardless of teacher status outside the school. Next is fair and honest attitude by not distinguishing supervision services between one teacher and another, and providing guidance in accordance with the needs of each teacher. Whereas in the sub-indicators know how to delegate tasks and responsibilities can be done by involving and entrusting the teacher in the successful implementation of supervision. Then by suggesting the teacher to share teaching experiences and always discuss the methods, sources and learning media

Abstract

The study of integration of character education in Junior Secondary School Nurul Ikhlas Tanah Datar, West Sumatra is a joint research with the approach of a combination of quantitative and qualitative, aims to understand the efforts undertaken by the leadership of the boarding school and the principal to integrate character education or character values that are universal to the school management processes. Among the character values uniquely invested in modern boarding school Nurul Ikhlas are: Deepening Religious Sciences, the mole, Compliance, Modeling, Piety, Independence, Discipline, Simplicity, Tolerance, feel enough, Humility, Fortitude, Solidarity, Sincerity, Cling to religion, Society, Cleanliness. The seventeenth character is jointly invested well for students to learn at school and when students receive education from boarding schools, to teachers and other education personnel. The uniqueness of Junior Secondary Boarding School Nurul Ikhlas in integrating character education into the educational process so as to produce quality graduates, an attraction for parents and prospective students to study at the boarding school. This concern which contribute optimally to support both leaders and the head of the boarding school so that the educational process can be managed optimally. This suggests the process of character education is not only optimal in boarding schools, but also in regular schools, both public and private that currently require it.

Abstract

This research was conducted to see the performance of clinical supervision in improving the science learning process at SDN 05 Sawahan, Padang City. This research is a classroom action with the research object of the principal and teachers of SDN 05 Sawahan. Where the technique of reading data by interview, observation and documentation. The results of this study focus on clinical supposition activities carried out by the principal on teacher administration and the learning process in the classroom. This clinical supervision activity can help teachers solve problems that teachers during the classroom learning process in science learning, can motivate teachers to improve their teaching and professional skills in implementing classroom learning. Inhibiting factors based on the principal's knowledge and teacher's skills in carrying out clinical supervision in accordance with the procedures and stages of clinical supervision.

Abstract

Integrated learning has 10 types, one type of integrated learning that is applied in SD is the webbed type integrated in the 2013 curriculum. For this reason, an understanding of the teacher is needed in implementing web type integrated learning in schools. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of teacher understanding of integrated learning in the webbed type of science content in Cluster I Region I, Kuranji District, Padang City. This type of research is qualitative. Based on the distribution of a questionnaire containing 20 statements divided into three parts, it was found that 50% of the teachers understood the types and applications, 84% of the teachers understood the strengths, and 67% of the teachers understood the shortcomings of the webbed type of integrated learning. So the teachers in Cluster I Region I, Kuranji District, Padang City already understand the webbed type integrated learning.

Abstract

Penelitian kolaborasi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan membandingkan iklim kelas yang dialami (actual climate) dengan iklim kelas yang diinginkan (preferred climate) peserta didik di kelas IV, V dan VI Sekolah Dasar Negeri 10 Ganting, Kecamatan Koto Tangah Kota Padang, Sumatera Barat. Responden penelitian berjumlah 78 orang, masing-masing peserta didik di ketiga kelas tersebut merespon dua macam angket. Alat ukur iklim kelas actual form diadministrasikan terlebih dahulu untuk mengetahui iklim kelas yang dialami peserta didik, kemudian diikuti dengan alat ukur iklim kelas preferred form untuk mengukur iklim kelas yang diinginkan peserta didik.  Setelah data yang terkumpul diolah dan dianalisis maka dapat diketahui bahwa beberapa skala iklim kelas yang dialami (actual climate) peserta didik kelas IV, V dan VI SD 10 Ganting tidak jauh berbeda dengan iklim kelas diinginkan (preferred climate).  Namun demikian, skala cohesiveness dan satisfaction pada preferred climate di kelas V lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan yang dialami peserta didik (actual climate). Untuk itu, diperlukan langkah-langkah treatment untuk meningkatkan kedua skala tersebut agar iklim kelas sesuai dengan yang diinginkan peserta didik. Kata kunci: iklim kelas, sekolah dasar, keakraban, kepuasan, demokrasi, kecepatan, kesulitan, formalitas CLASSROOM CLIMATE AT PUBLIC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 10 GANTING, KOTO TANGAH, KOTA PADANGAbstractThis collaborative study aims to determine and compare the climate of the class experienced (actual climate) with the desired class climate (preferred climate) by students in class IV, V and VI at Public Elementary School Number 10, Sub-District Koto Tangah Padang, West Sumatra. Research respondents were 78 people, each student in the three classes responded to two kinds of questionnaires. The actual form of classroom climate instrument was administered first to know class climate experienced by students, then followed by preferred form of classroom climate instrument to measure climate of class desired by students. After the collected data were processed and analyzed it can be seen that some actual classroom climate of class IV, V and VI of Public Elementary School No. 10 Ganting are not much different from the preferred climate. Nevertheless, the scale of cohesiveness and satisfaction in preferred climate in class V is higher than that actual climate. Therefore, treatment steps are needed to improve both scales so that the classroom climate in accordance with the desired students.Keywords: class climate, elementary school, familiarity, satisfaction, democracy, speed, difficulty, formality

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari hasil pengamatan selama praktek lapangan kependidikan di SMK Negeri 1 Painan mengenai kemampuan guru dalam mengelola kelas belum optimal sebagaimana yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini berjenis deskriptif kuantitatif yang memiliki tujuan untuk melihat seberapa mampu guru dalam mengelola kelas menurut persepsi siswa. Peneilitian ini memiliki populasi 352 orang yang seluruhnya siswa kelas XI. Untuk penarikan sampel digunakan teknik proportional random sampling yang diperoleh sebanyak 84 orang (10% dari populasi). Instrument penelitian ini adalah angket model skala likert tentang kemampuan pengelolaan kelas guru yang terdiri dari 34 item. Data dikumpulkan secara online menggunakan google form. Data yang dikumpulkan diolah mencari skor rata-rata dan tingkat capaian rata-rata. Dari hasil pengolahan data diperoleh bahwa skor rata-rata kemampuan menciptakan iklim pembelajaran yang kondusif, mengatur ruang belajar, serta mengelola interaksi pembelajaran adalah 4,31 (TCR 86,6%); 3,94 (TCR 78,8%); 3,97 (TCR 79,4%). Jadi menurut persepsi siswa, guru SMK Negeri 1 Painan mampu dalam mengelola kelas, dengan skor rata-rata 4,06 dan TCR 81,46%.
