Abstract

Contoh penerapan teknologi dalam pendidikan adalah Computer Based Testing (CBT). Efikasi diri adalah keyakinan seseorang untuk menyelesaikan tugas. Uji Kompetensi Mandiri merupakan untuk menguji kompetensi siswa secara mandiri. Tujuan penelitian menghasilkan produk UKM, menentukan kepraktisan dan efektivitas UKM. Metode penelitian Research and Development. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas VIII SMP 2 Demak tahun 2012/2013. Desain penelitian adalah One group pretest-posttest study. Efikasi diri diukur melalui pretest dan posttest, sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan pembelajaran dengan UKM. Pengembangan UKM dengan menguji vaiditas, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Karakteristik UKM yang dapat meningkatkan efikasi diri adalah: (1) memiliki tingkat kesukaran soal, (2) memiliki bantuan materi, (3) menyesuaikan gaya pembelajar modern, (4) mendorong terjadinya pengalaman vikarius. Keefektifan dilihat pada peningkatan efikasi diri siswa. Rerata pencapaian efikasi diri sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan adalah 76,6% dan 82,9%. Pencapaian efikasi diri siswa ini termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. The example of technolgy in education application is Computer Based Testing (CBT). Self-efficacy is the ability of someone to complete the task. Uji Kompetensi Mandiri (UKM) aims to test student competency independently. The research objectives are to produce UKM, determine the practicality and effectivity of UKM. The Research methode is Research and Development method. Subjects were the students of grade VIII of SMP 2 Demak in academic year of 2012/2013. The Research design is one group pretest-posttest study. Students' self-efficacy was measured by pretest and posttest that measured before and after a treatment by using UKM in a learning program. The development of UKM is done by validity, practicality and effectiveness tests. UKM’s characteristics that can enhance students' self-efficacy are: (1) have difficulty level, (2) have learning material assistance, (3) adapting to modern learner style, (4) easy to integrated in the learning experience to stimulate discussion and vicarious experiences.. The averages of students’ self-efficacy before and after the treatment are 76.6% and 82.9%. These achievements are categorized into high category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan sikap yang mencerminkan kreativitas siswa kelas XI-IPA SMA N se-kota Pati. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA se-kota Pati yang berjumlah 94 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal tes, angket sikap dan lembar pengamatan. Hasil analisis tes kemampuan  berpikir kreatif menunjukkan bahwa  9,5% siswa memiliki kriteria sangat kreatif, 65,95% siswa memiliki kriteria kreatif, 22,34% siswa memiliki kriteria cukup kreatif dan 2,12% siswa memiliki kriteria kurang kreatif, data tersebut memberikan gambaran bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas XI-IPA SMA Negeri se-kota Pati termasuk dalam kriteria kreatif.  Sedangkan Sikap kreatif siswa berdasarkan indikator sikap kreatif siswa cenderung memiliki kemampuan bebas berpendapat. Meskipun begitu, siswa juga baik dalam melihat masalah dari berbagai sudut pandang, baik dalam mengajukan pertanyaan, rasa ingin tahu, daya imajinatif, dan orisinalitas berpendapat serta gagasan.

Abstract

Laboratorium sebagai sumber pembelajaran fisika diperlukan untuk memberikan pengalaman nyata kepada siswa. Penelitian ini mengkaji semua laboratorium fisika SMA/MA se-Kota Salatiga dengan empat indikator, yaitu ketersediaan alat praktikum,  desain ruang laboratorium, administrasi laboratorium, pengelolaan penyelenggaraan praktikum, dan pelaksanaan keterampilan proses. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah observasi, angket, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil pengukuran menggunakan teknik triangulasi dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan tiap indikator dijelaskan sebagai berikut: (1) ketersediaan alat-alat praktikum fisika tergolong memadai dengan memperoleh nilai sebesar 66% (2) desain laboratorium fisika memiliki berbeda-beda variasi bentuk, dari model tradisional maupun non-tradisional. (3) administrasi laboratorium fisika cenderung cukup lengkap dan tertib dengan memperoleh nilai sebesar 50%. (4) menurut persepsi guru pengelolaan penyelenggaraan laboratorium fisika cenderung digunakan dengan wajar,  memperoleh nilai sebesar 67%, namun persepsi dari siswa hanya sebesar 39%. (5) menurut guru merasa mampu untuk mengembangkan keterampilan proses nilai sebesar 79%.

Abstract

Pada saat ini para pendidik sudah mulai mendapatkan akses untuk menggunakan berbagai macam teknologi guna meningkatkan efektivitas proses belajar dan mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan bahan ajar inkuiri berbasis web dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan ke-tuntasan belajar siswa pada materi Fisika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen, yang meliputi tahap pretest, pembelajaran, dan tahap posttest. Pengolahan data dengan menggunakan analisis uji gain dan uji ketuntasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan pemahaman kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibanding-kan kelas kontrol (0,484 > 0,250). Hasil persentase ketuntasan belajar kelas eksperimen mencapai 85,29 % dan dikatakan tuntas secara klasikal. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran fisika dengan bahan ajar inkuiri berbasis web efektif digunakan pada siswa SMA kelas X.

Abstract

Learning science is learning that requires teachers to implement various learning models in which are creative, innovative, interesting, fun, effective, and varied so that competence and expectations are able to be accomplished. This research aimed to discover implementation of science learning models in KTSP based and 2013 Curriculum based Junior High Schools. This research used observation method by using video as the tool and questionnaire. The results of this research discovered that students activities in paying attention to teachers in percentage at Junior High School coded A, Junior High School coded B, and Junior High School coded C were at 59,16% 46,06%, 85,80%. In 2013 Curriculum based Junior High School, at Junior High School coded X, Junior High School coded Y, Junior High School coded Z, students activities were representing experiments results, doing experiments,  and doing exercises in which are at 24,50%, 32,78%, and 55,23%. Moreover, the results of questionnaire analysis in Junior High Schools based KTSP were at 76%, 76%, and 72%. Furthermore, in Junior High Schools based Curriculum 2013, were at 88,02%, 84,38%, and 86%.

Abstract

Inactivity and less varied learning model of science used by teachers in Tegal Region causes students to understand less about the concept of science lesson. This research aims to determine (1) the difference in the increase of science literacy skills of junior high school students in Tegal District between using the conceptual learning model with the lecture model, (2) the students' literacy ability profile. Experimental design study with pretest-posttest control group design. The sample of this research use the students of class VIII SMP X Slawi, SMP Y Dukuhwaru and MTs Z. Each school is randomly selected two classes, as experiment class and control class. The variables measured are the improvement of science literacy ability, the availability of science as the body of knowledge, science as a way of thinking, science as the process of investigation and interaction of science, technology and society. Wake up is the improvement of literacy ability of science with CUPs better than lecture method. The profile of each school increases as follows: SMP Negeri X Slawi has an added value of 0.12 SMP Negeri Y Dukuhwaru 0.36 and MTs Z 0.07. The high-down science literacy enhancement profile is as follows: Interaction of science, technology and society, science as a body of knowledge, science as a process of investigation, and science as a way of thinking. The results of this study show that the conceptual learning model Conceptual Procedure (CUPs) can effectively improve the science literacy ability of middle school students with medium and high category in Tegal regency. Less effective for low category SMP.

Abstract

Teacher centered learning method which teacher usually used for Science Learning made students bored and can not following learning process well so the learning outcomes decrease. To increase motivation and learning outcomes, teacher needs various learning models.  One of the learning models that can be applied is Team Assisted Individualization with Vee Diagram. This study aims to determine the effect of Vee Diagram on the learning model of Team Assisted Individualization in improving student's motivation and learning outcomes. In this research the research design used was quasi experimental design with non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest with the sample chosen based on purposive sampling. Population of this study was students with eight grade of 8 Junior High School in Semarang. Sample of this study were A class as experiment class and B class as control class. Motivation and learning outcomes obtained from pretest and post test. Student learning outcomes have increased significantly marked by  was . While learning motivation also made a significant increase marked with  is   . So it means motivation and learning outcomes of experiment class better than control class.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to find out does the testlet test can work as a essay test. This research is an explorative research done to investigate a relatively new phenomenon. In accordance with the research itself, research design used is the One Group Posttest Only Design. Sample is don randomly (Random Sampling). The research is done in SMA Negeri 1 Gombong with the subject of the study is the students of XI MIPA 4 and XI MIPA 6. Based on the research’s result with the t-test analysis, showed that t-value= 1.85 for the XI MIPA 4 students and t-value= 1.89 for the XI MIPA 6 students, with t-table= 1.99. Therefore, from both of the research sample classes, the t-value is lesser that the t-table, so the conclusion is that there is no difference in the students’ cognitive learning outcome evaluated using testlet test and essay test, so testlet test can work as essay test.

Abstract

Science Learning in the curriculum of 2013 is developed as integrated learning not as a science discipline. Teaching and learning process consist of students and teacher activity. The purpose of this study is to know about the verbal activity from the teacher and student hands-on activity and the integration of learning material. This research was descriptive research. The subjects of the research were the students of class VIIIB, VIIIH and VIIF of SMP N 1 Bobotsari. The technique of data analysis is by making the transcript of ideo learning process. The result of the research is the description of student and teacher verbal activity, hands on activity, and integration of learning materials. Teacher's verbal activity is dominated by 62.34% of questions. The student's verbal activity is dominated by the answer statements of 69,44%. Average result of hands on activity was 33.12%. The integration of learning materials for class VIII B and VIII H has not shown the integration of Integrated Science, whereas for class VII F has shown the integrity of material from Integrated Science.

Abstract

      Untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa, yaitu seberapa besar siswa dalam memahami konsep fisika yang telah diajarkan oleh gurunya diperlukan suatu kegiatan evaluasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengukur Minds-On Activity dan Hands-On Activity siswa. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian eksploratif dengan menggunakan metode penelitian berupa eksploratif-deskriptif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas VIII D dan VIIIE pada materi usaha dan energi lebih mudah memahami konsep dengan menggunakan peta konsep tipe melengkapi, sedangkan untuk materi tekanan lebih mudah menggunakan peta konsep tipe menyusun. Uji hipotesis untuk mengukur Minds-On Activity siswamenunjukkan bahwa instrumen evaluasi peta konsep pada materi usaha dan energi,di kelas VIII D dan VIII E peta konsep dapat menggantikan tes tertulis.Pada materi tekanan,uji hipotesis juga menunjukkan bahwa di kelas VIII D dan VIII E peta konsep dapat menggantikan tes tertulis. Hands-On Activity siswa diukurdari hasil siswa dalam mengerjakan peta konsep praktikum. Pada materi usaha dan energi siswa kelas VIII E lebih unggul daripada siswa kelas VIII D, sedangkan pada materi tekanan siswa kelas VIII D lebih unggul daripada siswa kelas VIII E. Uji hipotesis untuk mengukur Hands-On Activity siswa menunjukkan bahwa instrumen evaluasi peta konsep praktikum pada materi energi potensial dan tekanan hidrostatis, untuk kelas VIII D dan VIII E instrumen evaluasi peta konsep praktikum dapat menggantikan LKS praktikumnya. Kesimpulannya instrumen evaluasi peta konsep mampu menggantikan tes tertulis dan LKS praktikum   In order to know students’ ability in understanding the concept of Physics that has been taught by teacher, an evaluation activity is needed. This research was aimed to measure students’ Minds-On Activity and Hands-On Activity. This research was an explorative research which used explorative-descriptive method. Based on the data analysis, the students of VIIID and VIIIE on work and energy material were easier in understanding the concept using the fit the concept map out type. While, for the pressure material, the concept was easily understood using composing concept type. Hypothesis test to measure students’ Minds-On Activity showed that the evaluation instrument in the form of concept map on work and energy in class VIIID was able to substitute the written test. While, the concept map was able to substitute the written test in class VIIIE. On pressure material, the hypothesis test showed that the concept map was able to subtitute the written test in both class VIIID and VIIIE. Students’ Hands-On Activity was observed based on students’ result in doing the concept map test related to practicum. On work and energy material, students of VIIIE had better performance than students of VIIID. While, students of VIIID had better performance than the students of VIIIE on pressure material. The hypothesis test to measure students’ Hands-On Activity showed that the concept map test related to practicum on potential energy and hidrostatic pressure was able to substitute the students’ worksheet practicum test for students of VIIID and VIIIE. It is concluded that the evaluation instrument  in the form of concept map is able to substitute the written test and the students’ worksheet practicum test
