Abstract

This research purpose was to know the influence of Anotrus 3D media toward the students activities and learning outcomes.The research used non equivalent pretest posttest design. The samples were students of VIIIA and VIIIB class that were selected by purposive sampling technique. Qualitative data were obtained from learning activities observation sheets and students questionnaire responses that were analyzed descriptively. Quantitative data were obtained from the average value of test that were analyzed by using t- and U-test. The results showed that the average of learning outcomes in experiment class was higher than control (experiment= 71,85; control = 54,48). The average of student learning activities percentage in all observed aspects in experiment class also showed higher improvement than control (experiment = 78,26; control = 66,33). Therefore, Anotrus 3D media could improve the students activities and learning outcomes on subject matter of the Human Motion Systems.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh media 3D Anotrus terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Desain penelitian menggunakan pretes-postes tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian siswa kelas VIIIA dan VIIIB yang dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari lembar observasi aktivitas belajar dan angket tanggapan siswa yang dianalisis se-cara deskriptif. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari rata-rata nilai tes dianalisis meng-gunakan uji-t dan uji-U. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi (eksperimen = 71,85; kontrol = 54,48). Rata-rata persentase aktivitas siswa semua aspek kelas eksperimen juga menunjukkan peningkatan yang lebih tinggi (eksperimen = 78,26; kontrol = 66,33). Dengan demikian, penggunaan media 3D Anotrus dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pokok sistem gerak manusia.Kata kunci : aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar, media 3D Anotrus, sistem gerak manusia

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of problem based learning (PBL) model to enhance students collaboration and high order thinking skill. 56 students from two classes was used as sample using purposive sampling technique. Quasi experimental design with pretest-postest control group was used in this research. Collaboration skills data were measured using observation sheets which were analyzed by calculating the average value. Data of high order thinking skill were measured using test instrument analyzed by calculating N-gain and T-test. The result of collaboration and high order thinking data analysis were obtained from experimental class that were higher than the control class. The result showed that problem based lerning (PBL) model can improved collaboration and high order thinking skill of student.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan model problem based learning dalam meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi dan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 56 peserta didik terbagi atas dua kelas yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Pretes-Postes kelompok kontrol. Data keterampilan kolaborasi diukur menggunakan lembar observasi yang dianalisis dengan menghitung nilai rata-rata. Data keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi diukur menggunakan intsrumen tes yang dianalisis dengan menghitung N-gain dan uji T-test. Hasil analisis data kolaborasi maupun berpikir tingkat tinggi yang didapatkan pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model problem based learning dapat meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi dan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik. Kata kunci: berpikir tingkat tinggi, kolaborasi, problem based learning

Abstract

The objective of this research was to know the influence of PBL in improving students activities and learning outcomes. This research was experiment study with pretest-posttest nonequivalent. The samples of this research were the students at class X4 and X6 that were chosen by purposive sampling technique. The quantitative data were obtained from pretest, posttest, and N-gain score which was analyzed by using t-test and U-test with the support of SPSS 17 in 5% confidence levels. The qualitative data were description of student activities using PBL model. The result of students learning activities was in average of high criteria. For the asking question skill was 58,3%; collecting data was 86,7%; presented the results of the discussion was 75%; and giving an opinion was 90%. The result of students learning has increased with the average N-gain was 45. Thus, PBL model was effected on students activities and significant on result.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh PBL terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan studi eksperimen dengan desain pretes-postes tak ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X4 dan X6 yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari nilai pretes, postes dan N-gain yang dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji-t dan uji-U pada taraf kepercayaan 5% dengan bantuan program SPSS 17. Data kualitatif berupa deskripsi aktivitas siswa terhadap penggunaan model PBL. Hasil aktivitas belajar siswa rata-rata berkriteria tinggi. Pada aspek kemampuan mengajukan pertanyaan 58,3%; Mengumpulkan data 86,7%; mempresentasikan hasil diskusi 75%; dan menyampaikan pendapat 90%. Hasil belajar berpengaruh signifikan dengan rata-rata N-gain 45. Dengan demikian model PBL berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci : aktivitas belajar siswa, hasil belajar siswa, problem based learning

Abstract

This research aim was know the influence of organic fertilizer of kepok banana skin against the growth of spinach plant. The results of the research can be used for making experiment worksheet of plant growth and development Grade XII High School. The plan was completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments and six repetitions with organic fertilizer consentration 0, 20, 40, 60 ml/plant/application. The parameters tested was a plant height, number of leaves and leaf wide. The worksheet performed feasibility test with two examiners are education biology and biology subject teacher grade XII. The research results showed that influenie of liquid organic fertilizer of kapok banana skin had significant effect for the growth of plant height, number of leaves and leaf wide on spinach plants.In the P1 treatment with a concentration of 20 ml was the best concentration and research results can be used for making experiment worksheet of plant growth and development with a very suitable categories.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik kulit pisang kepok terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman bayam dan mengetahui hasil penelitian dapat digunakan dalam pembuatan LKS eksperimen materi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman kelas XII SMA. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan dan enam pengulangan dengan konsentrasi pupuk organik 0, 20, 40, 60 ml/tanaman/aplikasi. Parameter yang diuji yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun dan luas daun. Pada LKS dilakukan uji kelayakan dengan 2 penguji yaitu dosen pendidikan biologi dan guru mata pelajaran biologi kelas XII. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian pupuk organik cair kulit pisang kepok berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun serta luas daun tanaman bayam. Pada konsentrasi 20 ml merupakan konsentrasi terbaik dan hasil penelitian dapat layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar.Kata kunci : kulit buah pisang kepok, LKS, pertumbuhan tanaman bayam, pupuk organik

Abstract

This research was aimed to describe the misconceptions on Photosynthesis and Respiration of Plants and the factors that can affected students misconception of 8th grade students in Gedong Tataan district. The research samples consist of 531 students that were selected by purposive sampling and using descriptive design. Data was collected by written test and analyzed with Certainty of Response Index, and students questionnaire were analyzed by Kendalls Tau Correlation test. Study result showed that percentage of students misconception on all concept was 61,27%. The percentages of misconceptions students on plants photosynthesis, respiration and photosynthesis and respiration were 60,88%, 64,03%, and 58,95%. Study result of Kendalls Tau correlation test showed that the factors affecting students misconceptions in this research was students themselves. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan miskonsepsi siswa pada konsep fotosintesis dan respirasi tumbuhan serta faktor yang mempengaruhi miskonsepsi siswa SMP kelas VIII se-Kecamatan Gedong Tataan. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 531 siswa dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan desain deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dengan tes tertulis dan dianalisis menggunakan Certainty of Response Index (CRI), sedangkan angket siswa dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Kendalls Tau. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan miskonsepsi siswa pada keseluruhan materi sebesar 61,27%. Siswa yang miskonsepsi pada konsep Fotosintesis, Respirasi Tumbuhan, serta Fotosintesis dan Respirasi Tumbuhan sebesar 60,88%, 64,03%, dan 58,95%. Hasil uji korelasi Kendalls Tau menunjukkan faktor yang mempengaruhi miskonsepsi pada penelitian ini berasal dari siswa itu sendiri.Kata kunci: Certainly of Response Index, fotosintesis, miskonsepsi, respirasi tumbuhan

Abstract

This research aimed to know the influence of PBL towards students creativity and written communication skill. The research used pretest-posttest non equivalent design. The samples were students of VII G and VII H SMP Al Kautsar that were chosen by purposive sampling. The quantitative data were average mark of pretest, posttest and N-gain KBK that were analyzed by using t-test and U-test with significant value 0,05 showed that there was significant increase. The qualitative data showed that the average of students creativity was good criteria, including KBK was good criteria, creative attitude was enough criteria, and creative product was very good criteria. Regression test showed that there was a positive relationship among creativity dimention. The average of studentss communication written skill was good criteria. Therefore, PBL had influence to improving studentss creativity and written communication skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model PBL terhadap kreativitas dan keterampilan berkomunikasi tertulis siswa. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII G dan VII H SMP Al Kautsar, yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Desain penelitian menggunakan pretest-posttest non equivalen. Data kuantitatif berupa rata-rata nilai pretest, posttest dan N-gain KBK yang dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji-t dan uji U dengan taraf kepercayaan 0,05 menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan. Data kualitatif menunjukkan rata-rata siswa ekperimen memiliki kreativitas dengan kriteria baik, yang meliputi KBK dengan kriteria baik, sikap kreatif dengan kriteria cukup dan produk kreatif dengan kriteria sangat baik. Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan terjadi hubungan positif antar dimensi dalam kreativitas. Rata-rata keterampilan berkomunikasi tertulis siswa eksperimen memiliki kriteria baik. Maka, model PBL berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kreativitas dan keterampilan berkomunikasi tertulis siswa. Kata kunci : keterampilan berkomunikasi tertulis, kreativitas, PBL

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of discovery learning on activities and cognitive learning outcomes of class VIII students of SMPN 1 Pugung Tanggamus in "Human Digestive System" materials. The study sample were 50 students of class VIII that were selected through cluster random sampling technique. The research instrument used a sheet of pretest-posttest and observation sheet of student activities. The design used was nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. Data on activities were analyzed descriptively, while pretest-posttest and n-Gain values were analyzed by Independent Sample t-test. The results of the study showed that the average percentage activity was 73.4 including good criteria with a n-Gain average of 0.47 including the medium criteria. Thus the application of the discovery learning model has a significant effect on the activities and cognitive learning outcomes of students in "Human Digestive System" materials. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh discovery learning terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik kelas VIII semester ganjil SMP Negeri 1 Pugung Tanggamus pada materi “Sistem Pencernaan Manusia”. Sampel penelitian adalah 50 peserta didik kelas VIII dipilih melalui teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar pretes-postes dan lembar observasi aktivitas peserta didik. Desain yang digunakan yaitu nonequivalent pretes-postes control group design. Data aktivitas dianalisis secara deskriptif, sedangkan nilai pretes-postes dan n-Gain dianalisis dengan uji Independent Sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase rata-rata aktivitas keseluruhan sebesar 73,4 termasuk kriteria baik dengan rata-rata n-Gain sebesar 0,47 termasuk kriteria sedang. Dengan demikian penerapan model discovery learning berpengaruh signifikan terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik pada materi “Sistem Pencernaan Manusia”.Kata kunci: aktivitas, discovery learning, hasil belajar, sistem pencernaan manusia

Abstract

This study aims to identify the Sungkai tribe local wisdom that can be used as a source learning. The design used was descriptive design. The sample selection used purposive sampling technique. The research data were obtained from questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data of this study were analyzed and interpreted into percentage descriptive criteria. The results showed that 11 local wisdoms of  Sungkai tribe could be used as learning sources. The local wisdom was bertangus and the use of crab carcasses (KD class VII), regional dances, medicinal plants (rambutan’s leave, jatropha’s secretion, duku’s leave, water of rice), musical instruments (KD class VIII), and seeds kuwalu, gula durian and  jeghuk belimbing (KD class IX). In conclusion, 11 local knowledge can be identified which can be used as a source for science in junior high school.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kearifan lokal suku Sungkai yang dapat digunakan sumber belajar IPA SMP. Desain yang digunakan adalah desain deskriptif. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data-data penelitian ini dianalisis dan diinterpretasikan kedalam kriteria deskriptif per-sentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 11 kearifan lokal suku Sungkai dapat dijadikan sumber belajar. Kearifan lokal tersebut adalah bertangus, bangkai kepiting (KD kelas VII), tarian daerah, tanaman obat (daun rambutan, getah jarak pagar, daun duku, air beras), alat musik (KD kelas VIII), serta bibit padi kuwalu, gula durian dan jeghuk belimbing (KD kelas IX). Kesimpulannya, telah diidentifikasi 11 kearifan lokal yang dapat dijadikan sumber belajar IPA SMP.Kata kunci : kearifan lokal, kompetensi dasar, sumber belajar.

Abstract

The study was conducted to find out the student’s collaboration and high order thingking skills that was impact of Discovery learning model. This study was quasi-experimental with Pretest Post-test Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The population was 234seventh grade students of Junior High School 26 Bandar Lampung which. The research sample were 56 students of VIII G as experimental class and VIII H as control class which selected by purposive sampling technique. Collaboration skills data were analyzed desciptively in percentage while high order thinking skills were analyzed statistically using independents sample t-test. The findings of this research showed that the using of discovery learning model increased the student’s collaborations skills and high order thingking skills with significant value 0,000 (p=0,05). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan peningkatan keterampilan kolaborasi dan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning, Penelitian ini merupakan eksperimental semu dan termasuk non equivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 26 Bandar Lampung yang berjumlah 234 orang dan terbagi ke dalam 8 kelas. Sampel penelitian adalah 56 peseta didik dari kelas VII.G sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VII H sebagai kelas kontrol yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data keterampilan kolaborasi diperoleh dari hasil observasi menggunakan lembar observasi keterampilan kolaborasi dan data keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi diperoleh dari nlai pretes dan postes. Data observasi keterampilan kolaborasi dianalisis secara deskriptif kulitatif dalam bentuk persentase, sedangkan data hasil pretes dan postes dianalisis menggunakan uji independent sample T test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model discovery learning dapat meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi maupun keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik dengan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000 (p=0,05).Kata kunci: discovery learning, keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi, keterampilan kolaborasi

Abstract

Studying-result is the final aim on learning process which is closely related to the on field-studying. Observations in VII Grade of Public Junior High 2 Jati Agung shows low on result and activity of learning. This research was aimed to know the influences of Bamboo Dancing. The design was equivalen control group. This research's data was quantitative and qualitative. The sample was Class VIIA and VIIB which selected by cluster random sampling. Quantitative data obtained average value of the pretest, posttest and N-gain on Life Organization matter.  Qualitative data obtained percentage average of students activities and responses of using Bamboo Dancing was analyzed descriptively. The results of the research show that Bamboo Dancing increasing the activity of the student with good criteria which is on 76.62% , it is also evident from the increase observed for all aspects. The Study-result from the experiment class is increasing too, with N-gain average (0.154) shows the high criteria. Besides, all of the student gave positive response to the Bamboo Dancing . Thus, it can be concluded that the uses Bamboo Dancing is influential in increasing the Study and activity result.Key words: bamboo dancing, life organization, student study results and learning activity.
