Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the characteristics of the needs and development models on the “Wayang Banjaran Bima” Stories of Based on Drama Text with a Character Education for High School / Vocational School. The study is conducted by using research and development design. The enrichment book is developed by applying the feasibility aspects of it, book consisting of four aspects namely material, linguistic, presentation, and graphic. In addition, enrichment book products are arranged in accordance with the principles of preparation of enrichment books such as having conformity with educational goals, adjusting to the development of science, and developing the ability to reason. The draft enrichment book consists of the beginning, contents, and last. The enrichment book development of products are based on the characteristics of the students needs who expect the preparation of puppet story material based on drama texts and there is a character education content. The puppet story is developed in the form of a drama script text divided into six the Banjaran Bima plays, namely (1) Bima Bungkus, (2) Bale Sigala-gala, (3) Dewa Ruci, (4) Bima Suci, (5) Jagal Abilawa, and ( 6) Pandhu Swarga. The content of character education is inserted into the whole story in the conclusion section at the end story. With the content of character education students are expected to be able to understand the values contained in the puppet story and it can be applied in everyday life.

Abstract

Literary learning materials are one of the important components used by teachers in learning activities. Good learning materials can help students achieve learning goals. Sources of literature learning materials tend to focus on reference books from the government. Even though there are still many literary learning materials that can be used, one is novel. The research objective was to describe the teacher's response to Satin Merah's novel by Brahmanto Anindito and Rie Yanti as literary learning material at Senior High School. This research uses a pragmatic approach. The research is based on the reception of Indonesian language teachers at the Senior High School level on the feasibility of a novel based on the feasibility assessment of the BSNP in terms of content, language, and presentation. This study indicates that Satin Merah's novel's feasibility level is 82.5%, which means that this novel is feasible and has a good reputation as literary learning material at Senior High School. The feasibility results are shown in terms of content feasibility of 84.2%, language feasibility of 81.5%, and presentation feasibility of 82%. In terms of content, this novel develops self-potential, has creativity and depth of story, and develops readers' characters to love and preserve local culture. In terms of language, the language used is following Indonesian rules and according to the target audience. In terms of presentation, this novel pays attention to the building blocks and mostly develops characters and inspires readers.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the form and function of figurative language in the poetry anthology Perahu Kertas by Sapardi Djoko Damono, (2) describes the form and function of images used in the poetry anthology Perahu Kertas by Sapardi Djoko Damono, (3) describes the relationship of figurative language to images in the poetry anthology Perahu Kertas by Sapardi Djoko Damono. The analytical method used is descriptive semiotic analysis through heuristic and hermeneutic reading to reveal stylistic aspects and comparative analysis to describe the relationship between forms and functions of figurative language and imagery in the poetry anthology Perahu Kertas by Sapardi Djoko Damono.The results of the study based on data analysis showed (1) figurative language found, among others, was dominated by figure of speech and idioms with a limited number. The function of figure of speech is found, namely as the creation of aesthetic effects and comparison of meaning (2) the imagery data found is dominated by motion imagery with the function of reinforcing meaning to form imagery for the readers (3) there is a relationship between forms of figurative language and imagery in poetry anthology Perahu Kertas by Sapardi Djoko Damono

Abstract

Tokoh Salya dalam wiracarita Mahabharata (MBh) merupakan salah seorang tokoh yang mengalami transformasi di dalam teks cerita pewayangan. Salah satu aspek yang mengalami perubahan adalah kehebatannya di dalam peperangan. Penelitian ini mengungkap transformasi kehebatan tokoh Salya ke dalam teks cerita pewayangan yang dipublikasikan di situs-situs internet. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) gambaran kehebatan Salya dalam peperangan dalam teks transformasi merupakan penerusan konvensi dari teks MBh, akan tetapi detail dan motifnya merupakan penyimpangan; (2) senjata yang dikuasai Salya di dalam teks transformasi merupakan penyimpangan dari teks MBh, akan tetapi merupakan penerusan konvensi dari teks kakawin; dan (3) kehebatan Salya sebagai kusir kereta (sarathy) dalam teks tranformasi merupakan penerusan konvensi dari teks MBh, tetapi motif pemanfaatan kemampuannya merupakan penyimpangan. Kata kunci: Transformasi, Salya, Mahabharata, cerita pewayangan Abstract One of Salya’s tranformation from the Mahabharata (MBh) to the wayang texts is his power. This research is held to reveal such transformations as published in the websites as wayang stories. The result show that (1) Salya’s power in the warfare described in the transformastion texts is a conventional continuation from the MBh text, but its detail and motif show some deviations; (2) weapons belongs to Salya in the transformation texts is a deviation from MBh text, but a continuation from kakawin text; and (3) Salya as powerful sarathy in the transformation texts is a conventional continuation from the MBh text, but the motif of its usage show a deviation. Abstract

Understanding the contents of the exposition text about the traditional mantu is one of the basic competencies contained in the standard content of Javanese language subjects. Students are expected to fulfill completeness in learning traditional mantu ceremonies. This makes students feel bored and lack an understanding of the material well. The purpose of this study is 1) to find out the needs of students and teachers regarding the development of android-based mantu traditional ceremonial learning media, 2) to develop learning media for android-based mantu traditional ceremonies, and 3) to make prototypes for developing traditional ceremonies based on android. This research uses a development (Research and Development) approach. The procedure of this study is 1) analysis of potential and problems, 2) collecting data, 3) product design, 4) design validation/expert testing, and 5) revisions. Data obtained using 1) interview, and 2) questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study used qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of the validation test for prototypes of traditional ceremonial learning based on Android are appropriate and appropriate for students and teachers. This media is packaged or printed in the form of an android application.

Abstract

This study aims to determine basic literacy in teaching and learning activities for grade I elementary schools in Jepara. The research used a qualitative approach with descriptive research methods using data collection techniques such as observation, interview and documentation. The research subjects were school principals and grade I teachers of SDN 1 Kalipucangwetan. The results of the study explain that basic literacy in teaching and learning activities in class I has a role as (1) activities that help achieve learning objectives. Literacy activities can be placed in the core activities of the lesson plan. The teacher designs learning activities as well as literacy activities (2) Media literacy can be a learning medium. The media used by the teacher is in the form of media that can be good teaching aids for literacy activities that are combined with teaching and learning activities. (3) The materials used for literacy are the same as class I subject matter, especially in alphabet, phoneme and vocabulary materials. Teaching materials that become literacy materials are adjusted to the pleasant first class characteristics

Abstract

Ritual Murwakala ini merupakan ritual ruwatan yaitu ngruwat wong sukerta. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini (1) Bagaimanakah perkembangan bentuk topeng Barongan Blora yang digunakan dalam ritual Murwakala (2) Bagaimanakah fungsi topeng Barongan yang digunakan dalam ritual Murwakala (3) Bagaimana makna dalam tiap bentuk perkembangan topeng Barongan yang digunakan dalam ritual Murwakala. Tujuan penelitian ini (1) Untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan perkembangan bentuk topeng barongan Blora dalam ritual Murwakala (2) Untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan fungsi topeng Barongan dalam ritual Murwakala (3) Untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan makna dalam tiap bentuk perkembangan topeng Barongan dalam ritual Murwakala. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, mengumpulkan data (1) Observasi mengamati terhadap pertunjukan Barongan (2) wawancara yaitu dengan mewawancarai seniman Barongan Blora, Pawang barongan, dan tokoh Blora (3) Data dokumen yang didapat berupa dokumentasi arsip kebudayaan yang ada di kota Blora. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini yaitu perkembangan bentuk topeng barongan blora yaitu sebelum kemerdekaan sampai 1945, setelah kemerdekan sampai orde lama, orde  baru – reformasi, periode reformasi - tahun 2009, 2010 sampai sekarang. Fungsi Barongan Blora yaitu, Barongan murni sebagai sarana ritual Murwakala, Barongan dalam ritual Murwakala Pertunjukan Panggung. Saran Mengembangkan kesenian daerah khusunya kesenian topeng Barongan di kabupaten Blora bisa berkembang dan dalam hal pelestarian seni tradisi.Ritual murwakala is ritual ruwatan namely ngruwat wong sukerta. The formulation of the research 1) how the development of the mask barongan Blora used in ritual murwakala 2) how function mask barongan used in ritual murwakala 3) how meaning in every the development of a mask barongan used in ritual murwakala .The purpose of this research is 1) to know and explain the development of the mask barongan in ritual murwakala 2) to know and explain function mask barongan on rites murwakala 3) to review and explain the meaning of for the development of a mask barongan in ritual murwakala. This research using the qualitative method ,while to collect the data done by 1) observation 2) interview 3) data on documents. The results in this research that is the development of the form of a mask barongan Blora occurring in some the period that is the period before independence until 1945,after independence until order lama,new order to reform,tahun2009 reform,2010 until now.Function mask barongan blora on rites murwakala that is as a means of ritual murwakala and as a stage performance.Function barongan blora namely , pure barongan as a means of a ritual murwakala, barongan on rites murwakala a stage performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of primary school principals in religious moderation in a multicultural society. The primary education is the initial basis for students to know the basics of the level of education that will be directed in the future. Semarang has a fairly high religious heterogeneity, requiring schools to highly respect the existing diversity. This study uses a qualitative research approach. The data sources in this study are primary data sources and secondary data sources. The sources of secondary data in this study are reference books that support this study. The data collection techniques use observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the role of elementary school principals in religious moderation included five indicators; those are conservator, innovator, transmitter, transformer, and organizer.

Abstract

This research is entitled Linguistic Defamiliarization in the text of Ahmad Tohari’s Trilogy. One of problems discussed is the form of linguistic defamiliarization in the text of Ahmad Tohari’s novels united in a trilogy. The purpose of this study is to describe the form of linguistic defamiliarization in the text. Theoretically, this research contributes (1) to adding a new insight about the writing Ahmad Tohari’s rhetorical style and (2) to the preparation or writing of the history of Indonesian literary theory. Meanwhile, among the practical benefits that can be obtained is the appreciation of interesting language and literature learning. This research is a qualitative descriptive study employing an analytical approach and hermeneutic technique. It was carried out in such a way because it was difficult to avoid using an eclectic method to analyze a novel. The use of integrated the methods was expected to get maximum results. The data in this study were linguistic data in the form of sentence fragments contained in the text of the novels in the trilogy, namely Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk, Lintang Kemukus Dini Hari, and Jentera Bianglala. The data were in the form of chunks of the characters’ speech and the author’s narration in the form of words, phrases, clauses, sentences and discourse that allegedly contained forms of defamiliarization. The data collection technique employed in this study was the documentary technique and first level of semiotic reading technique. The data collection technique used in this study can be described as follows, (1) reading the text of the trilogy employing the first level of semiotic reading technique, i.e. the heuristic reading. This reading technique was based on a linguistic convention; (2) keeping records of data coded according to the characteristics on the data cards; (3) classifying the data according to the types of problems, namely the forms defamiliarization at word, phrase, clause, sentence, and discourse levels. On the data analysis stage, a second level of reading technique was applied, that is the hermeneutic technique, to provide the overall meanings of the text. The results of this study show that the form of text defamiliarization in Ahmad Tohari’s trilogy are in all linguistic levels, i.e. word, phrase, clause, sentence and discourse ones. At the word level, the defamiliarization is in the form of connotative meaning utilization, exploiting the Javanese words, the use of foreign terms, the use of expletives, and the utilization of compositum. Meanwhile, at the phrase level it shows the use of endocentric attributive phrases, endocentric connective phrases, verbal phrases, noun phrases, and prepositional phrases. An the clause level it shows the use of verbal clauses, adjectival clauses, and nominal clauses. The sentences found in the text are in the form of simple sentences and compound/complex sentences with varied structural patterns, both compound and complex sentences.
